Two years ago, Earth and other worlds were in complete chaos and destruction from the villainous army called the Masters of Evil led by Earth's most dangerous villain, Doctor Victor Von Doom. He has captured and stolen the power from the Asgardian king, Odin, and used his powers to wreak havoc upon Earth. He even turns numerous heroes into his pawns and slaves.

However, Doctor Doom and his Masters of Evil were defeated by the Ultimate Alliance. The Ultimate Alliance is the group of Earth's greatest heroes such as The Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, the Defenders, and numerous other great heroes. The band of heroes traveled to other worlds to seek tasks and objectives to defeat Doctor Doom and his allies.

In the end, the heroes were victorious and brought peace to other worlds including their own. The sinister villain, Doctor Doom, was defeated and imprisoned for eternity by Odin along with the king's son, Loki. However, the heroes have lost allies and friends from this conflict and honored their sacrifice. Earth has finally been restored to peace… until one event… changes everything…

It's nighttime in the country of Latveria at the capital of Doom Castle, home to the former ruler, Victor Von Doom. The country is now run by their prime minister, Lucia Von Bardas, who once served Doctor Doom himself. The Latverian soldiers patrol the lookout station for any suspicious activities within their location.

At the watchtower, two soldiers were chatting to each other while one patrolled around doing his job. He radioed in, "This is tower one. It has been two hours. No sign of any suspicious activity."

"Affirmative, tower one. Resume your assigned patrol and report for any suspicious behavior within your location."

"Understood. Over and out."

As soon as he reported in, his mouth was webbed and his weapon was yanked by Spider-Man. The web crawler dive kicked him, alerting the other two soldiers. The two arm their weapons at the hero until Captain America landed in front of them and knocked them out with his vibranium shield.

"Thanks for the save, Captain," Spider-Man saluted him.

"No problem," Cap said as he patted the web crawler's shoulder. "Just be more prepared next time."

"You got it, Cap."

Captain activated his comms, "East Tower is secure. How's West Tower?"

A soldier was patrolling the tower next to the other one. He stopped by a doorway and he immediately spotted the two heroes. He's about radioed in until he's grabbed from behind and pulled into the shadows to get beaten up. Wolverine emerged from the shadow and radioed in, "The West Tower's taken care of. I'm gonna take down the two guards below."

"That's not part of the plan, Logan."

"Yeah, well shell head is showing up early and someone is gonna take them out fast." Wolverine jumps off the tower and dives down as he's talking to Captain America.

"Logan, stay put. Spider-Man and I will take care of the guards."

"I'm afraid you're too late for that, Cap."

"Why's that?"

Wolverine ignited his claw to strike one of the guards for a landing then ignited the other to use them both to slice the other one. He finished his talk with Captain America, "Because I already did it. See ya girl scouts below."

The captain turns off his comm and turns to Spider-Man. "That dude is crazy and scares me," the web crawler said.

"He's a soldier. Just like me."

"Except he wasn't frozen and went head to shield against Hydra. Maybe head to claws but not head to shield."

"Let's regroup with him."

"You got it, Cap." He grabs Captain America and web-slings them both down below with Wolverine.

Iron Man flew in heading towards the entrance. "You ladies already have some fun without me. I'm ashamed. Get clear. I'm gonna make an entrance. Literally."

The armored hero activated his missiles and fired four from his shoulders at the entrance door, destroying it and taking out most of the guards. Iron Man flew in and took down four of them with his repulsor rays while Captain America used his shield to take down three of them with one throw and Wolverine sliced two of them.

The four heroes regroup after taking down the guards. "Well, that was easy," Iron Man bragged. "At least throw in two or three more guards."

One of the guards was injured and headed to the alarm. Spider-Man senses it and he notices the guard. He fired his web at the guard to get away from the station, but sadly the soldier pressed the button and the alarms went off. "Oh crap," the web-slinger panicked.

Then suddenly, the room is filled with heavily armed forces as they all circle the superheroes. They all ordered them to stand down and surrender while aiming at them. Iron Man looks around trying to find a way to get out of this until he turns his attention to Wolverine. The unstoppable mutant noticed the armored hero's attention and said to himself, "Ah fu-"

Iron Man fired both of his repulsor rays at Wolverine's claws when the mutant blocked his rays. The X-Man yells in anger and pain while his body is absorbing the beams as the guards just stand there confused. Captain America quickly used his shield to protect himself and Spider-Man as Logan released a powerful repulsor wave sending all of the soldiers flying against the walls defeated.

After the teamwork attack, Wolverine was panting from the unexpected dangerous technique as the others looked at him with concern. "Logan, you okay," Captain America asked him.

"That… hurt," the mutant yelled at Iron Man.

"Uhhh but it worked," Iron Man told him. "No pain no game, my boy."

"I ain't your boy, Stark!"

Then, Colonel Nick Fury enters the entrance station joining the rest of the heroes while Daisy Johnson, aka Quake, follows him. "It looks like you heroes handle the first step. Well done. Very impressive."

"Whatever, Fury. Why are we going through all of this crap if this chick can just cause an earthquake to distract them?"

"Their leader would be suspicious about it and will know what we're up to," Skye told him.

"Plus, we're not terrorists," Fury explains. "We're fighting our way through someone's home and our only targets are Bardas and her mindless minions. The people of Latveria aren't our enemies."

The colonel heads to the controls and gives out a message to the enemy air defenses. "Alright, that should do it. Their air support won't bother us on our way to Castle Doom."

"That's good to hear," Captain America said. "Where's Natasha? Shouldn't she be with us right now?"

"Black Widow will go with Bravo Team to scout ahead and we'll rendezvous with them when we hit checkpoint three. We'll take it on foot."

Spider-Man lands right next to them and whines, "On foot? You're kidding, right? Do you have any idea how little arch support I get in my suit?"

"Save your complaints with the Latverian troops we're about to face. Alright, everyone, let's move."

The Alpha Team heads out to checkpoint one while Spider-Man talks to the others as they're walking. "So, does anyone know who's in the Bravo Team?"

"I don't know," Quake told him. "Could be anyone from the old days. Whoever catches Fury's attention."

Near a barrack station, a military truck is driven towards it until three soldiers stopped them. The guards moved towards the vehicle and found a buff driver and a young guard in the passenger seat. "Isn't this one a bit too young to be here," one of them asked with suspicion.

"This is his first time," the driver said. "I'm just showing him around."

"You don't sound Latverian. In fact, I don't remember seeing you before."

"I've been transferred here from the boss."

"Really? You don't mind if my men check what you're transporting?"

"I don't mind at all." The driver turns to his partner. "Show them what we got, junior." The young passenger exited the vehicle and lure the two back of the transport to enter.

"And mind if I see these transfer files of yours?"

"Of course. Just let me-" The driver immediately grabs the soldier by the collar and slams his head to the door knocking him out. "That's my file."

The young guard returns without the others and enters back into the passenger seat. "Took care of the others."

"Nice." The driver started the vehicle as he shivered a bit. "Jeez, kid you're really cold."

"Thanks."

They both drive to the station where dozens of soldiers are gathered and patrol. The two exited the vehicle while a lieutenant walked toward them. "Let me do the talking," the driver told his friend.

Before the driver could say anything, all of the soldiers arm their guns at the two as they raise their arms. "You two are not Latverian," the lieutenant said. "You two are Americans."

"Wh-What makes you say that," the young guard asked.

"Because I can smell the stench of American from you two. Also, I station three of my men out there and none of them contact me about a vehicle being sent here. Now…" His men loaded their weapons for an execution. "Who sent you here?"

"Look… uhh… lieutenant right," the young trespasser asked as the lieutenant nodded. "We're not here to cause any trouble. We just wanna see your boss for a quick talk. That's it. Once we're done, you'll never gonna see us ever again. Deal?"

"Understood. Take aim!"

All of the guards aimed at the two intruders as the pair kept their hands up. "Looks like using diplomacy didn't work," the young American told his partner.

"Looks that way. You ready," the tall buff American asked him.

"Like I have a choice."

"Ready," the lieutenant ordered his men as they aimed at the two Americans. "Fi-"

"Too late." The young intruder's entire body turns into solid ice, revealing that he's Iceman. He immediately used his power to make an ice barrier for him and his partner as the guards fired at them. The ice mutant made an ice slide above the guards and froze dozens of them.

Three guards went around and gunned down the other American. They laughed after shooting him but they were completely shocked to see him still standing. The intruder removed his disguise and revealed it to be Luke Cage. "Now, that was a big mistake," he told the Latverians soldiers. He rushed towards them as they kept emptying their clips. He punched one in the face and grabbed one to throw him to the third guard.

Two guards appear at the end of the truck and aim their weapons at Luke Cage until two more guards are thrown at them from the truck. "It's clobberin time!" The Thing emerged from the truck and crashed into a tank that was about to be operated by two soldiers. The rock hero spotted another transport vehicle with more soldiers arriving and he immediately picked the one he was transported in and then tossed it.

Three Latverian soldiers gathered on top of a station and aimed their weapons at Iceman. Suddenly, Daredevil appeared and kicked one in the face. The other two turn their attention towards him until the blind hero throws his clubs at their heads and catches his dual weapon.

Four guards appear on top of a station near Daredevil and aim their guns at him. They all fire at the hero until Invisible Women appears behind him and creates a force field to shield him. She pushed her field at the soldiers knocking them off the structure.

Suddenly, a tank emerges and aims at Iceman and Luke Cage. Susan Storm spotted the armored military tank and turned her attention to The Thing. They both nodded at each other and she created a force sphere around him. Benjamin rushed towards the tank and used the sphere to ram it on its back.

After the Latverian guards have been defeated, the heroes regroup and congratulate each other for watching each other's backs. "Wow," Iceman shouts from the team-up. "That was so awesome! Did you guys just see-"

The lieutenant rushes behind the ice mutant and grabs him as he points his pistol to the back of his head. "Don't move," he yelled. "Don't move! Or else this mutant head will turn into snow!"

Before anything could happen, the lieutenant was stunned and fell to the ground. Iceman turns around and finds Black Widow saved him. "Well," she said to them, "it looks like you all had your fun."

"Awww Widow," Iceman said as he walked towards her offering a hug. "Thank you! How about a thank you kiss?!"

She placed her hand on his face to make him move aside. "No thanks. Just a simple thank you is enough." The agent heads to the others. "Did we take out all of them?"

"Looks that way," Luke said as he looked all around them.

"Look like these guys are gonna be in the hospital for weeks," The Thing laughs.

"What's our next step," Invisible Woman asked.

"Iceman," Natasha told the young mutant as he immediately followed her, "you're gonna help me scout ahead while I inform Fury what to expect. While the rest of you will try to keep up and our mission is to get to the landing pad at Castle Doom."

"Shouldn't we be cautious about heavily armed Latverian soldiers and their advanced weaponry," Daredevil asked the widow spy. "Sounds like Fury wants us to handle the heavy lifting while he is given a free pathway, Natasha."

"Don't worry, Matt. Fury and his team are gonna be way busier than us. They're gonna get all the fun while we recon. Trust me you're gonna be jealous." She stood behind Iceman and pats his shoulder. "Alright let's go."

"You better wrap your arms around me, Widow," Iceman flirted with her. "It's gonna be a romantic ride for the two of us."

She rolls her eyes as she lays her hand on his shoulder. "Just go already, Bobby."

"Worth a shot."

Then, Iceman ice slides both him and Black Widow off to the highest point while the others head out to recon the areas. They both slide to the rooftop of the tallest building and examine the area. Suddenly, the two are distracted by high hazardous electricity going off nearby. She turns on her radio comm and alerts the Alpha team. "Fury, this is Widow. There's a large power source within the city. It's giving off powerful dangerous electricity." Nothing but static came from her communication device. "Fury, are you there?" Still static. "They're jamming our signals. We can't get to Fury and the others."

"How are we going to warn the others about this," Iceman asked.

The spy draws her attention to it and recorded a message to Fury:

"Fury, this is Widow. If you're getting this message, we've determined there is a massive power source operating within the city and it's completely unstable. If you can take it out, you can find the checkpoint a lot less dangerous."

Widow tapped the ice mutant on the shoulder and told him, "Slide us over there. I need to leave this for Fury."

Iceman nodded and ice slid them both to the gardening area. Black Widow planted the recording chip underneath a bench. "How do you know that Fury will find it right there," Iceman asked.

"Trust me if you know Fury for that long, then he'll know everything. Alright, let's keep moving. The alpha team should be here soon."

"How do you know that?"

"Just listen to the explosion."

Meanwhile, within the city, numerous patrol soldiers were alerted about the barrack station going dark and preparing for any assaults near a statue of Doctor Doom. One of the soldiers heard beeping nearby and went to investigate. The noise is coming from a brick wall as he and a few went over confused. Until an explosion blew them and a few more away.

Nick Fury emerged as he fired his pistol at a few soldiers while the rest of the heroes spring into action. Iron Man blasts several away. Spider-Man webs most of their guns away while Wolverine slashes a few and Quake sends some flying with his powers. Captain America charges in blocking their bullets with his shield then knock the gunner out and throw it to take down four soldiers. The destruction of the heroes' attack destroyed the Doctor Doom statue, which feared the Latverians, and forced them to retreat.

Luke Cage and the Bravo team hide in the alleyway as a platoon of soldiers rush towards the Alpha team and they are heavily armed. Luke nodded to the others as The Thing picked up a dumpster and threw them at the troops, knocking out four of them. Daredevil jumps behind two men and knocks them out then throws both of his weapons at two more in the face. When he grabs his melee sticks, four soldiers fire their guns at him until Cage jumps in front of his teammate and the bullets bounce off of him. The masked hero jumped above his friend and kicked two gunners down, leaving the muscled hero to knock out the rest.

Finally, Invisible Woman pulls the remaining troops together into a force orb, leaving The Thing to ram towards them and knock them all away. They all catch their breath after defeating a platoon. Then suddenly, a few of the Latverian get up and point their weapons at them until Iceman slides in with Black Widow and freezes them. "Done with your little recon," Daredevil is annoyed that they didn't help them and leave them behind.

"Good job making it easier for Fury and his team," Black Widow told them. "We need to make our way to Castle Doom and eliminate any obstacles that will do serious damage."

"Why couldn't we meet up with Fury and fight our way to the castle together," Susan asked.

"We can't take any chances. We need to stay separate until we arrive at the castle. That's when we attack them at our full strength."

"So, what's our plan then," Ben asked.

"We need to sneak our way to the castle landing pad. Once we get to the checkpoint, I need to sneak into the castle and hack their system to find a way to destroy what's left of Doom's legacy."

"Are we going to face any bad guys along the way besides the Latverian goons," Luke asked Widow.

"Possibly. Alright, let's keep moving." Black Widow and the Bravo team head off to proceed with their mission and are ready for whatever their enemies have next.

Meanwhile, in a lab, a group of Latverian scientists and soldiers are packing up some equipment as their commander examines them. "Hurry," he yelled at them. "These 'heroes' are on their way here any minute. Make sure our men are holding them back."

"But they're the Avengers," one of the soldiers told him.

"Make sure they will use every manpower to destroy them or at least hold them at bay!"

"But they're the Avengers."

The commander went to another soldier and told him quietly, "I've received an order from Bardas to activate the prototypes. Hopefully, they'll stand a chance against them."

"Yes sir," the troop saluted to him.

Then, the commander walks up to a mysterious person with an annoyed look on his face. "I hope my leader didn't waste her precious tech on you, American. I hope you'll stand a chance against these invaders."

"Don't worry," the mysterious guy spoke in a gangster tone. "By the time these suckers get here…" He fired a deadly electric shock against a computer, which alerted everyone. "They'll be fried."

Back to the Alpha team, they easily fought off several Latverian soldiers as they're making their way to the path to the garden. Fury was taking cover as he was aiding the team by gunning down armed troops. "Widow," he called her on his comm. "This is Fury. We're holding off a few patrols and fighting our way to the castle. How are you and the Bravo team holding out? Are you making any progress?" He only received statics on his communication device. "Widow, are you there?" Same response.

Nick Fury rushed to Captain America's side as they were fighting off troops. "We need to go through the garden area. Widow might've left a message for us."

"How come you couldn't ask her," he shouts as he was holding off enemy fire.

"They're jamming our signals. And I'm sure Widow knows about it already and left us something to be prepared for what they have in store for us."

"Understood." After they took out what was left of the patrol, Captain America warned the others. "Alright. Let's go through the garden district."

"Why," Spider-Man asked. "Are we gonna smell the roses and the sunflowers? I heard they're beautiful at this time of night."

"Widow left a message for us about the enemy. We need to be ready and expect what they have on their side. Let's move out!" They all head towards the garden district while keeping their guard up.

The Alpha team rushed to the garden district after they fought their way through the Latverian patrols and searched the area for anything. Spider-Man searched through the dirt until he felt something metallic. "Ha guys," he alerted them. "I think I found it!"

When he tries to pull it, it suddenly pops out from the ground and reveals itself to be a deadly robot. After it stood before the Avengers, Iron aimed his repulsor at it and cockily said, "Ha! One robot?! Please! They have to do better than-" Then suddenly, nineteen more bursts from the ground and surrounded them all. "Oh yeah, that makes sense."

"Team up time, Stark," Spider-Man asked Iron Man.

"Definitely. Web them up."

The web shooter immediately fired webs at all of the robots and pulled them all together in front of Iron Man as the iron hero finished them off with his unibeam, causing a massive explosion. "Well, that was easy," Logan said unamazed. "Ya sure these Latverians are that much of a threat?"

"Only their leader," Nick Fury said as he resumed searching for Widow's hidden message until he found it underneath a bench. He listened to the message from his earpad and informed the team. "Alright, listen up! Our first target is to take out their power source. It will make our trip a lot easier."

"Any idea where they stored their power source," Captain America asked.

Iron Man flew into the air to scan the area and located the enemy's main power source located in a church as electricity lightning out rapidly and unstable. The iron hero landed in front of the others to report in. "Well, remember when they say about the power of Christ," he asked them.

"Yeah, why," Daisy asked.

"Their main power source is located in a church nearby but it looks unstable."

"I bet their electric bill is insane," Spider-Man jokes.

"Alright," Nick Fury told them, "Let's head out and shut down their power. Expect heavy enemy defenses." The Alpha team heads out and proceeds to the Latverian main power source.

Within the Castle Doom throne room, the Latverian president stood before the statue of Doctor Doom as she admired it. She retrieved a communication from one of her generals and answered, "Yes, general."

"Madam Von Bardas," he called from the communicator. "The Avengers are breaking through our forces! We can't send in any more reinforcements! They'll make their way to the castle soon!"

"Are my clients in their position?"

"Yes, madam!"

"Pull the rest of our forces back to the castle. They will hold them off long enough for our special forces to be ready for battle. Fury will pay for invading my country. I'll see him and his forces will burn for this."

At the church, the alpha team took care of the remaining forces of the Latverians as they made their way inside. "Is it just me or does it look like their defenses are extremely low," Spider-Man said to the others.

"I guess their forces are inside," Quake told him.

"Stay sharp," Captain America told them. "We don't know what is inside. Keep your guard up and be ready for anything."

"It's alright, Cap," Iron Man said. "We took down soldiers and outdated robots easily. What more can they hit us with?"

The iron suit hero blasted the door down as they all headed inside. "Wait a sec," Spider-Man stopped them as his spider-sense was going off. "My spider sense is going off."

Suddenly, the entrance has been sealed by a trap steel door, trapping them all inside. A massive static of electricity is occurring among the walls, causing them to be on their guard. "Long way from home, aren't you fellas," the unknown figure stood above them.

"Wait! I know that voice. Wait Max?!"

The figure reveals himself to be Electro while massive electricity forms all around him. He's wearing a green high-tech suit with two yellow lightning logos on his upper body. "Sup, Spider."

"Ah friend of yours, bub," Logan asked him.

"Eh kinda," the webslinger told him.

"Listen," Captain America tried to reason with the villain, "We're not here for you. We're here for the Latverian scientists. Just let us do our job and stand aside."

"Sorry, Stars and Stripes," Electro told him while smirking sinisterly. "I was given this awesome new toy. I'm ten times better than before."

"Hold it right there," Stark became enraged. "Is that Starktech?!"

"Yup. You thank the Tinkerer for that."

"That's my tech and I want it back!"

"Sorry, rich boy. This is my toy now."

Fury steps forward while aiming his pistol at the electric villain as he demands, "I'm Nick Fury, head of S.H.I.E.L.D. and you are cooperating with the enemy of the US. You will surrender now or you will be put down, son!"

"You know… I was going to bring my new toy back to the good old lame-ass US of A and give it a test run. But instead, I'm gonna try it out on your sorry asses. Free of charge!"

Electro fired a deadly electric blast at Nick Fury, sending him flying. Iron Man took the opportunity to fire his repulsor ray at the villain but he disappeared before it hit him. The electric criminal appeared right beside him and asked him with a smirk, "Did ya get him?"

The villain blasted him away before he could hit him. "Tony," the hero soldier shouted as he threw his shield at the electric villain until Electro caught it. "Wh-What?"

"Either I'm powerful or you're getting old, Cap," he mocked him as he fired the shield back at Rogers with his electricity hitting his chest.

Wolverine jumps in with both of his claws out to strike the criminals. However, Electro disappears and appears behind the mutant to electrocute him, shocking his adamantium bones. The clawed hero tried to strike him but the electric villain continued to toy with him by teleporting behind him and electrocuting him repeatedly. When he was about to appear behind him, Logan knew his tricks and tried to stab him before he appeared until Max Dillon stopped him by electrocuting him, causing the X-Man to roar in pain.

"Nice try, dumb-" Electro was webbed in the face by Spider-Man and then blasted by Quake vibration waves, sending him flying.

Iron Man slowly picks himself up and stares at Electro as the villain gets back up. "Friday," Tony told his computer system, "I need a scan on his suit. Look for any weak points."

"You got it, boss," the AI told him while scanning Electro's suit.

Meanwhile, a platoon of thirty Latverian soldiers is marching towards the church as their officer orders them, "Our general wants us to gun down the invaders while they're distracted. The Avengers won't see us coming. Get ready for fun when we arrive!"

Then, the officer and the first row of soldiers were frozen instantly by Iceman. The rest of the soldiers were opening fire at him until the Thing and Luke Cage jumped in to begin fighting them off. Daredevil took down the ones away from the two as he's knocking their guns away before fighting them. The Invisible Woman aided the blind hero by shielding him from the gunfire. Black Widow came from behind and stunned the remaining forces with her shock baton.

After they've taken care of the enemy platoon, Iceman iced up all of them to keep them from causing any further harm. "Well, that should take care of what's left of these goons," he told his team. Suddenly, an enormous blast of electricity fired out of the church building nearby. "Whoa! What the freak was that?!"

"Isn't that where Fury and the others were heading to," the Thing asked the team.

"Maybe they need some backup," Invisible Woman told them as she was about to head over to the alpha team location.

"Don't worry about them," Black Widow calms them down. "Fury and my team faced worse than whatever that was. It's okay they got this. They can take care of themselves."

Back in the church, the team took cover and dodged Electro's deadly electric blasts as he was getting more powerful than before. "Come on guys," he shouted with amusement. "I can't shock any of you if ya keep moving so much! Slow down!"

Captain America blocked a blast with his shield while dealing with a little bit of pain. "Tony," he yelled to his teammate. "Anything?!"

Iron Man was done scanning Electro's suit and found it a weak point as he spring into action, hoping the others will follow his lead. He begins firing his repulsors at the electric villain repeatedly but only with minor damage. The attack annoyed the criminal as he teleported behind the iron hero to kick him and grabs Stark by the neck while releasing a more deadly electric field to keep the others away.

"You're going down, St-"

Suddenly, Spider-Man webs Electro's face and swings kick him away from Iron Man. "Come on Max," he shouted. "Don't make it anymore harder! I don't wanna hurt you!"

The electric villain ripped the webbing off his face and caught the webslinger in his electric field as the spider hero cried out in pain. "Oh! But I wanna hurt you so badly, Spider!" The X-Man jumps from behind and stabs the criminal in the back as Electro roared in pain while he sent the mutant back with a powerful electric blast.

Iron Man tackled him to the ground and was about to punch him but Electro stops his fists and then grabs him by the neck. The electric villain lifted the iron hero to the air as the criminal smirked. "What's wrong, Stark? I thought you were the world's smartest jackass?"

"Well… I don't attack my enemies without a plan," Tony told him as he blasted Electro away, freeing him. "Now!"

Electro turns left and spotted Spider-Man swinging Captain America's shield at the villain's chest, sending him crashing into computers. The heroes group up as the criminal picks himself up and becomes enraged. "That was a mistake, fools," he told them as his electricity fired up in complete rage. The heroes are ready for a deadly fight as Max Dillon becomes more powerful.

Suddenly, Electro's suit starts to malfunction as his powers become unstable. He looks down at his chest and realizes that the core on his suit is damaged by the vibranium shield. "I-I can't control it! H-How can I make it stop?!"

"What's wrong, Max," Spider-Man jokes. "Did your pal the Tinkerer not tell you what to do when your suit gets damaged by vibranium?"

Iron Man steps forward and stands in front of Electro as his electricity continues to be unstable. "And that's what happens if you use my tech," Stark points out before he shoves the electric villain to the ground.

The webcrawler then web his archenemy to the ground, preventing him from escaping or attacking again. "You stay right there, Max," Spider-Man told him. "We're gonna make sure you'll be sent back to prison and have a nice bowl of sundae when you get back behind your cell."

"Bastard," Electro yelled.

Nick slowly picked himself up and regrouped with the others while ignoring his injuries from the fight. Captain America went over to him and asked with concern, "Fury, are you alright?"

"Yeah… Just gonna feel that in the morning," Fury told him. "That should take care of their power source. We'll have S.H.I.E.L.D. pick him up after we deal with Von Bardas. Let's go."

The Avengers exited the church and into the streets while Fury was trying to contact the bravo team but failed by the enemy's jammer while Quale stayed by his side. "Hmph. Nothin' new to me so far," Wolverine talks to Captain America. "But black ops aren't really S.O.P for you guys, are they? How Fury get-"

"Same way he got you two, I expect," Iron Man cuts in as he and Spider-Man join them. "Everyone owes the old warhorse favors and he always calls them in, sooner or later. Could be much worse than this."

"Yeah, but don't you guys wonder," Spider-Man told them while feeling discouraged. "I mean invading a foreign country? Like we're soldiers of fortune or something?"

"I've known Nick Fury a very long time, Spider-Man," Captain America told him while laying his hand on the web-slinger's shoulder. "We wouldn't be doing this without a good reason."

"I understand invading the people of Latveria is horrible but their soldiers blindly served Von Bardas," Nick Fury assured them why they're there. "You saw your pal, Max Dillon, back there with that tech. Many more supervillains have the same techs given by the Tinkerer. And who do you think funded his operation?"

"Von Bardas. By doing this, she funded this crime within this country and shipped these dangerous weapons to our country to be used to endanger the citizens of America. This is international terrorism. I have already been authorized by the president to proceed with this ops. We'll attack Doom Castle and arrest Von Bardas, the Tinkerer, and any other criminals for their crimes." The group of heroes nodded and understood their intentions except for the webslinger and tech specialist as the two looked at each other with concern.
