AN: This is part of Nalu Week, but I did my own something, something. It's basically the same thing, but it can really be with any pairing you want. I did four of different series. It's called Show's Challenge. Just check it out and see if you can do the same prompts I came up with.
Summary: Poor sweet little Nashi was having a nightmare. Seeing his little baby in distressed, of course Natsu had to do something to help her. Once Lucy gets home, she's going to be in for a nice little surprise.
Rated: K
Fairy Tail is considered one of the greatest guilds in all of Fiore. What's more is that everyone considers the other members as family. They cherish the bonds they have since Fairy Tail helped regain what many members had lost. Of course, they can have families of their own. That's what Natsu and Lucy did as they were able to have a child together. Sweet little Nashi who is barely four. Who would have thought that reckless Natsu who only thinks about eating, sleeping, and fighting would have such an adorable little girl or that he would make a great dad.
"Okay, Nashi. It's time to stop playing and get ready for bed." Natsu said as he took care of his baby girl.
"No! I want to play with Happy!" Nashi pleaded.
"Yeah! We're still playing!" Happy said as he loved playing with Nashi himself. "Come on, Natsu. You're suppose to be the fun parent. Lucy's not home. She'll never know."
"She might. Nashi, Mommy is coming home from a job tonight, but she's not going to be home until it's much later. What's she going to think if she still sees you are awake when you should be in bed?" Natsu said.
"I want to see, Mommy." Nashi pleaded and even tried to give him...the eyes.
"No... No!" Natsu said as looking in those eyes makes it hard for him to say no. He needs to stay firm and be a responsible parent. He even went as far as to poke his own eyes so hard that he ended up knocking himself over. "Not tonight! Those eyes won't work if I can't see them!"
"Wow. Parenting has really changed you." Happy said.
"Happy, help me out. Think of Lucy what might do." Natsu said from the floor. "Remember how she was when you mistakenly drank Nashi's milk?" Happy thought back to that. That was a scary moment since Lucy had a lack of sleep and constantly taking care of Nashi. He surely didn't want that again.
"Time for bed!" Happy called as he took Nashi to bed himself.

It got late, but Natsu was doing his best to stay awake. He wanted to stay up to see Lucy, but he was about to fall asleep himself. He was just about to drift off when his super strong hearing heard his little girl squealing. Once he heard that, he got straight up and hurried straight to her.
"Nashi!" Natsu called as he went right into her room and saw her hiding under the covers. "Honey? What's wrong? Did you have a nightmare?" He asked as she went over to her. Nashi's little whimpering confirmed that she did. "It's okay. Daddy's got you." He said as he got Nashi to come out and lifted her up. It must have been one bad nightmare because she's still trembling.
"What's going on?" Happy asked in a tired state.
"Poor Nashi had a bad dream." Natsu said. "Don't worry, Nashi. You'll be safe." He claimed as he carried his daughter off.

"Oh man..." Lucy complained as she finally came home and was exhausted. "That's the last time I go on a job with Bisca and Cana in the desert." She roamed around the house and saw no one. She thought they were asleep already, but she noticed Nashi wasn't in her room. "Nashi?! Natsu, where's Nashi?!" She called as she went to their room, but was met with a lovely sight. She saw her husband and daughter sleeping together in bed with Natsu sitting straight up and holding Nashi in his arms and Happy on his shoulder. Seeing that just simply melted her heart. She just had to join in as she climbed into bed with them and woke up Natsu.
"Oh, hey..." Natsu said. "I know Nashi should be in bed, but she had a nightmare."
"Shh... I don't want to wake up our little girl." Lucy said as she got in on this. She cuddled up with Natsu and their daughter with them going to sleep together. After all, if their little girl needs them, they'll do what they must. With that, they all went off to dream land together like one sweet family.
