Hello, every one it's so good to be able to write this story. Now some of you may be wondering why I have Shield Hero in the tags; Well it is because it takes place within the universe of The Rising Of The Shield Hero, or more like the multiverse. Yes, the anime has shown that the waves connect worlds. Such as the world Naofumi currently is in and the one Glass inhabits. But each time a wave occurs The world is connected to another world. So this takes inspiration from that. But more importantly to me, many people have inspired me to write this story and build up this world, and I hope and wish to share it with you all. The first person I would like to thank is Allen Blaster, who has brought some new breath and life to the Shield hero fan fiction. This is especially due to his understanding of how the unique systems give Shield Hero its unique feeling, from its world/worlds to the magic systems and nations. He has an excellent writing style and humor and understands the basic principles of Chekhov's gun. The way Allen can encapsulate and embody the characters is something that I hope to aspire to. The second person who has inspired me is or I guess would be a group of people, and that would be the guys and gals working on the many Worlds project, who have all made their own one hero worlds, which includes Robotech275 and have made two stories main stories, One called "Crafting a hero's tale," the Other being "Cooking up some trouble." Javetts, who wrote "Blooming of the Flower Hero," and Mache Lamina who wrote "Keeper of Moral." I hope more in the future, not just from the ones I mentioned but anyone, who has ideas and stories that they wish to tell. We as authors, and fans of Shield Hero wish to see its community thrive, and stories thrive. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the story ~FamousKilla Out~

In an urban city, a young girl is sitting on her family's couch in their living room watching a historical documentary. "The ancient Greeks are known for many things, most prominently the rise of city-state ruled not by crowns or councils, but by the people, but the one that helped some city-states was not by laws or words, but by iron and blood." This would be a daily occurrence for this young lady, for she would turn on the TV and watch whatever documentary was on at the time. but on this day It was about the rise of The City-states of Greece. As she began to become immersed in the documentary she heard some speak up,

"Ugh, Hiyori can you turn it off, or at least turn it down. I'm trying to read my new book. I don't understand how you can just watch this," her sister said in an annoyed tone "You do this daily, you grab something to drink from the kitchen, come into the living room, where you know that I like to read, and listen to some old guy explain about some country that is long dead. I would understand if it was about someplace like Korea, America, or China. But This," Her sister pointed at the television, which shows a depiction of the Spartan hoplites. "this is just some country, that is long gone." She said arrantly sitting back down into her favorite chair.

"First of all, it's not a country, it is many independent cities that are located where modern-day Greece is," she said while pausing the documentary, she sighed as it was about to get the Peloponnese war, which she wanted to know more about. "Secondly, if you know that I do this daily, then you can read when I'm not here," Hiyori said as she unpaused the documentary, hoping her sister wouldn't say anything back.

Unfortunately for her, she would not get what she wished for instead it was quite the opposite. "Trust me, I would love to but I can always hear you geeking out over pointless things. whether it's about some battle or some conflict between dead and pointless nations. Or just and dumb and random fact." her sister said as she got out of her favorite chair. This was not a good situation Hiyori contemplated, it was never good when she made her sister get out of her chair.

"I'm gonna head and go to the library," Hiyori spoke quietly as she got up from the couch picked up her drink, and took a small sip from it, as she poured the rest of the contents down the drainer when she reached the kitchen.

As Hiyori left she heard her sister say "Be back home before the lights come on, I don't want Mom and Dad to ground me for not looking after you." While she didn't like her sister she definitely didn't hate her sister to the point in which she wanted her to get in trouble. But for as long as she can remember always loved to learn about the past. She can mostly thank her Grandpa for that. Hiyori had a small smile on her face as she began to reminisce about her dearest grandpa. she remembers always asking her parent if they could go and see her grandpa. She would remember the stories of kings and queens protecting their people out of kindness, and kings and queens who would rule over their people with nothing but greed and cruelty, only caring about their people because they brought them riches and power.

Her Grandpa was a sweet man teaching her that the stories of the past may not affect people directly or give them an immediate reward for learning them, but that learning them was the reward, because being able to listen to the failures of the past, can help make the future a better place. "I wish you were here, Grandpa. You always seemed to have the answer for everything." She somberly spoke to herself as tears ran down her face, not even noticing that she walked into the middle of the road. She broke out of her stupor when she heard someone trying to yell at her. "We call upon the ancient relic of the Divines," But she couldn't make out the words they were saying. "The one who is thrown and faithfully returns," Only to turn her head, she sees the metal grille of what she can only assume is a truck. Her final thoughts are of her Grandpa as she lets out tears fall down her cheeks she has a bright smile on her face. "We call upon the hallowed weapon, which will guide our world back from Calamity."

Hiyori would hit the hard wooden ground and lay there for a few seconds before she heard a group of people moving around as well as the sound of metal hitting the ground. She heard someone begin to talk to her, so she sat up, and she saw a beautiful sight, as she looked up, she saw Teal lights spiraling and waltzing in a slow methodic rhythm. She stared in awe as her tears kept streaming down her face, she looked at lights slowly evanescing into the sandstone above her. with the teal lights making it look like we were in a planetarium. Hiyori only turned away from the dancing lights, when she heard him talking to her "High Hunter are you alright? Is something the matter?" The mysterious voice asked her in a worrying tone. Thoughts would begin to rush into her mind. What was this place, wasn't she about to be hit by a truck? What were those lights? Was this the afterlife, why was this stranger calling me High Hunter?

She would quickly get up and try to get in a fighting stance, but when she tried to raise her left hand, it felt like it was heavier. That's when she would look down and see a big wooden boomerang, with a Purple Gemstone embedded within it. If Hiyori were to guess this, boomerang must have been worth lots of money. Heck, that doesn't include the purple gem in it. The Boomerang looked like it was made by a masterful artisan, who knew what they were doing. and not to mention the quality of wood. it felt nice and smooth to hold. If the British were to find this, they would one hundred percent steal this and put it into their "British" Museum which you could even call British.

Hiyori finally began to focus and look around her and noticed several people surrounding her. All of them wearing loose white colored clothing, all of them having a symbol of what looked like a simplified boomerang, she was wearing in her hand.

She realized that if she wanted to escape from her current predicament, she would have to throw this boomerang at the person in front of her. Raising it and preparing to throw it, The person in front of her began to sweat, "Hold on w-wait," the stranger said in a panic, raising their hands instinctively "D-don't attack lady hunter, w-we m-mean you n-no harm!" The strange exasperated.

Hiyori was still wondering why he was calling her hunter. "What's going... where am I, who are you and why are you calling me lady hunter and high hunter?" Hiyori asked continuing to be on edged. "L-lady hunter," the strange gulped nervously. "W-we s-summoned you t-to save our world, from a great evil..." The stranger said as he began to take deep breaths and resumed talking again. "Will fill you in on the details later, but you're in the Hunting kingdom of Feyojerin, and I'm one of the scholars of the divines, tasked with summoning the Cardinal weapon of the Boomerang." The stranger continued to explain. "I am the head diviner of the hunter's lodge, My Name is Afshin," Afshin said as he gave a courthouse bow. "The reason why I'm calling you head hunter is because you hold the holy weapon of the boomerang, if you wish I could call you the Wielder of the holy weapon, but I would Heavily advise you against being called that, High Hunter." Afshin looked at her with concern in his eyes.

Hiyori looked at Afshin with some suspicion "Why would you not want me to be called head Hunter." Hiyori said while still gripping on to the boomerang, her hand shaking from straining to hold on to the one weapon she had.

Afshin began to step forward, only to stop as he noticed Hiyori tense up. "That is a complicated subject, but long story short there is a schism going on, with how the boomerang hero is viewed," Afshin said softly. "Now, if you don't have any questions left, follow me. I would take you to our king, but his currently busy with his council at the moment so I'll take you to the lodge and have you register at the dragon hourglass. " Ashfin said as he turned around and began to walk away from me.

Hiyori is now less tense with receiving an answer, "Umm, I have a couple more quick questions?" Hiyori asked as she quickly caught up with Afshin. Afshin looked back at her and nodded as he continued to walk. "How did I get here. I know you mentioned that you summoned me, but how?"

Afshin looked back at her once again took a breath and spoke, "We summoned you by the ways of an ancient throwing form, I'm sure you saw the remnants of the technique, after all, you looked enamored with the lights."

"That's what those lights were!" Hiyori exclaimed, now feeling excited at hearing that magic existed in this world "They looked like something you would hear straight out of a fairy tale." hiyori's mind quickly filled with all kinds of questions, the most important one of all was "hold on... Throwing Form?"

Afshin looked at Hiyori amused "Is there something Wrong High Hunter, you seem surprised by the mere mention of throwing magic." Ashfhin looked at her with surprise in his eyes. looking at her amusing reaction.

"Well yeah, in my world magic doesn't exist. I'm familiar with the concept, but in my world magic is merely a fairy tale told to children to help them go to bed." Hiyori said with wonder still thinking about the possibilities that magic could play in this world. She no doubt knew that magic was a key player in combat. Being able to conjure a fire the size of a cannonball with nothing but incantations. If magic existed in her world, history would have turned out way differently.

Afshin looked at her as if she had grown a second head. "Really, there's no magic of any kind in your world, fascinating then how do your people protect themselves from monsters like Flying Lizos" Afshin looked shocked yet intrigued at the same time.

"Well there aren't any monsters of any kind, the only thing my people have to deal with are dangerous animals like bears, lions, and spiders, but even then you only see those in the wild or zoos," Hiyori said explaining while moving her hand in the rough shape of the animals she mentions.

Afshin looked even more shocked. "The World you come from sounds so serene, and peaceful, not having to deal with monster attacks, but back to the matter at hand, you asked about how we summoned you, is that correct?" Afshin looked at Hiyori nodding her head. "Well to be precise we didn't choose you specifically. It's more like we did the throwing ritual to summon the Holy Boomerang, and the holy boomerang chose you to be its wielder." Afshin spoke as he pointed at the boomerang, in Hiyori's hands.

Hiyori looked at the weapon in her hands and swore she saw the gem shine a brighter shade of teal "Now that you said again, you keep saying magic and throwing in the same sentence, can't you use magic by incantation?

"No, throwing magic barely uses incantation and if think about it, throwing magic doesn't have any incantation involved." Afshin said walking through the garden "Throwing magic is more about the movement of your body, with purpose and clarity rather than just throwing."

Hiyori was walking through the garden taking in the information that Afshin was telling her. She thought that this sounded like martial arts except without the whole magical element to it. Now that she calmed down, she can truly appreciate the beauty of the world around her. It feels warm and arid, this place feels and looks like the hanging gardens of Babylon. So many plants and flora.

Hiyori looked back to the place she was summoned, while it may have had walls, it wasn't warm or hot in there, and now she can recall, that even though we were inside there was some sunlight inside. if Hiyori could look closer she would find small holes in the walls, but from afar she could see a pattern etched into the limestone. The building overall reminded her of ancient Persian architecture, with pillars near the door, she left the building with sensational patterns and helical carved onto the pillars with what looked like an eagle with a singular horn on its forehead, and its wings spread out like its ready to fly away.

Hiyori also noticed couldn't help but notice the columns along the path, Afshin and her were walking upon. she also could see in the distance a grand wall filled with intricate cravings depicted something, these walls would put the forbidden city to shame. she wondered if this lodge and the Dragon hourglass would be on a ziggurat or something similar. She finally felt at peace. The only time she could see places like this was either in documentaries, or descriptions in the book, and even then none of those depictions could compare to the sights around her.

Hiyori continued to walk with Afshin when she came across a flower that looked like none she had ever seen before it looked like a red poppy, but the petals looked like they had embers floating off of them. She stopped in her tracks and moved closer to it. She couldn't help but wonder why this flower was like this. did it have to be here, or was this planet like this across the rest of the world? Her curiosity got the better of her, despite her not knowing what would happen to her, or the flower if she touched it, she instinctively reached out her hand and a finger.

As Hiyori's finger neared the flower, she felt the tip of her finger getting warmer and warmer, she would as noticed the petals getting bright and letting off more light. "Lady Hunter, stop what you're doing, and don't touch it!" Afshin shouted as he ran towards her.

"What will happen if I touch it, more importantly, what is it. I've never seen anything like it?" Hiyori said still looking at the flower in wonder and bewilderment.

"To put it into simple terms, that there is called a blazing rose. If you touched it, you most likely would have either blown yourself up or would have set the area on fire." Afshin said still looking panicked.

Hiyori wanted to pick the flower, but she didn't want to cause damage on the first day she was summoned either "How does it do that, and are there more flowers like this?" she asked as more questions flooded her brain

"Well, this something that people like to use instead of throwing magic. these flowers originate from the easternmost nation of Vinstra, The people there like to refer to it as seedling magic. To cut a long story short you can use all kinds of these magical plants as a source of magic, the downside is that it's pretty much a one-time use." Afshin said as let his hand cusp around the plant.

Hiyori paid attention to what Afshin was doing, She didn't understand what was happening, but she could see him move his hands around the blazing rose, with each movement of his hand the rose grew brighter and brighter, yet the brighter it grew, the more the plant wilted. until finally a blazing energy burst from the flower, and in between the hands of Afshin. he would point his hands up towards the sky and release the blazing fire until it finally fizzled out and small vermillion-colored light shot every which way.

When Hiyori would look back down she would see the remnants of the blazing rose, wilted and withered. The once strong and fiery flower is now limp and lying on its side. "So that's what you meant when you say they're a one-time use," she said with a somber tone

"Yes, while Fayojerin may be a proud nation of hunters, it is not one of plants and agriculture. and in our profound capital of Pheolas, it is especially so. This area is believed to be built by a past hero, for it is the only place that is capable of hosting this much plant life for a couple of kilstos." Afshin said as he stood back up, and continued towards the exit.

Upon hearing this Hiyori looked at the flower. thinking that this was just a small slice of this world. She would pick it up and let it go into the wind. After that, she would quickly catch up to Afshin. they would continue to walk down the path, with Hiyori following Afshin. with the silence only being interrupted by the occasional cough from Afshin. With each minute passing the grand wall that she saw earlier was growing closer and closer by the minute.

When they arrived at the gate, Hiyori would look back at the path that she traveled on for roughly thirty minutes, or so she would guess. but another thing she noticed was that the plants and flora ended, about fifteen meters. from the wall. "Alright Lady Hunter, you're gonna want to take this and put it on," Afshin said as took off his robe.

"Why do I have to wear this rode now, you didn't make me wear it, when we left the temple thingy?" Hiyori said as she grabbed the robe she had been handed. looking down at it, then back up at Afshin.

"Trust me, when I say this it's for your safety and well-being," Afshin said as he placed an emphasis on safety. "When we go out there, people will," he paused for a brief moment "Some people will have a problem with you being the High Hunter," Afshin said as he helped her put on his robe on her. Pulling over the hood, making sure that her face couldn't be seen easily.

"There, you look marvelous in my robe lady hunter," Afshin said with a smile on his face.

"Why would people have a problem with me being the boomerang hero" Hiyori replied with slight annoyance.

Afshin stood there for a couple of seconds " You remember when I said there was a schism in how the Boomerang hero is viewed," he paused again. "Like I said before it is complicated, but the basic is that the title 'high hunter' is a title given to the person who holds the most respect and power in the Hunters Lodge, and the boomerang hero is usually always held sway and respect in the hunter lodge to the point the two became one" he paused a second time this time he looked more nervous "The problem is that the title 'high hunter' before the merge, was as I said before the person with most respect and power, but there one hard rule set in place, and that no women will be able to hold the title," Afshin said looking at Hiyori with sorrowful hope.

"I... This is quite a lot to take in" Hiyori said in a quiet tone, to the point, that Afshin barely heard her. She didn't know why she expected this world to be like her old one. Of course, if this place was similar to ancient Persia. she wondered if the rest of the world held this belief. who was she kidding, it most likely would be similar to this place. "Can we just leave already," she said in the same despondent tone

"Alright come on Lady Hunter," he said as he waved his hand toward her "Hey Ariman, Navid open the gates," he said in a boisterous tone

And as his word left his mouth, the gates began to slowly open. even though Hiyori is in a somber state, she still can't help but be amazed at the city beyond the walls.

[Author's note]

Hello lovely folks, firstly I would like to start by saying sorry for any grammatical mistakes, I've reread a couple of times so I am genuinely embarrassed if a few slipped through. Secondly, as much as I want to get to the flashy action parts, I still wish to give you an entertaining read, including exploring the systems that govern the world, Hiyori is in. But more importantly, I want to see her geek out about seeing places similar to the past, that she loves. Anyways Famouskilla Out.
