Hello everyone ! It's been a long time. I had a few chapters of this story in storage for 5 years. I figured it was time to publish them. And I think I'm even going to continue it today! It's been a few years since I last wrote. At the time I was in high school, I was 17 years old and plenty of time but no knowledge of spelling (has that changed today? I doubt it lol) today I am at the end of Master 1 and the professional year in M2. I didn't have time to write anymore but I'm motivated again! So I'm going to post the old chapters. Don't hesitate to leave comments to motivate me to continue the story on this almost unknown Ship lol. On this good reading \o/

Chapter 4

Ada stepped out of the helicopter, her hair and scarf flying with the force of the propellers. She checked her weapons. Albert had explained to him all the details of his current mission. She turned to him and saw Krauser and Jill approaching.It's really cold tonight.she thinks.

-They dispersed in the forest, Krauser is going north, Jill is going east, I'm going to go west and Ada is going south, we'll stay in touch on line twelve. If anything happens contact me. I know it's going to be difficult, but we can't take anyone else. This is a top secret project, no agents except researchers and agents of level four or higher know about this project.She nodded. Knowing that only one person had level five, and very few had level fours, even more knowing how to fight, that left only a slim choice.If you come across BSAA agents, kill them. For the B.O.W, kill them too and under no circumstances touch their bodies or their blood, a cleaning team will come and clean up once all the subjects have been controlled.

-Understood.She armed her weapons and after a last sign she headed into the forest. She held her flashlight and her weapons as she moved forward carefully, they couldn't afford to stand out too much with bright lights, her weapon was equipped with a silencer. Everything had to remain under control. She focused on her hearing because there was little to see in the misty forest. The moonlight didn't really shine through the foliage. She heard a noise to her right. She turned and in a split second she had shot a woman in her forties, dressed in a white coat, in the head. All the subjects were men and women who seemed completely normal, luckily they hadn't mutated so she could kill them with a single bullet. She continues to move forward. After a while, she had already killed six of them. But she heard a cry. She ran towards the source of the noise. She raised her weapons and saw a woman being attacked by a mutated monster. This woman did not have a white coat and was therefore not a test subject but a civilian. She shot the attacker three times in the head. But that's not enough. He turned towards her. The horrible thing reminded William Birkins. She emptied her magazine but nothing stopped her. At least she had saved the woman whose face she had not seen. The B.O.W tried to punch her with his fist but she jumped to the side to dodge it, catching herself on her hands before bouncing off and landing on her legs.

-Here Ada, someone welcome me? You hear me ?! Shit !Only she had little chance, Albert had not foreseen that one of them had transferred. She stumbled backwards as the mutant ran at her. But before the monster caught him someone shot him in the head. She looked up, shocked to see that the person she had just saved was Claire Redfield. The entire weight of the stunned monster rested on her.

-Claire ! She looked at Chris who arrived. He looked at the mutant then at Ada, trapped beneath him.

-There Wong?!She groaned inwardly, all that was missing was that. She turned her attention to the monster above her.

-Chris we have to help him! She saved my life! She shoots the mutant who doesn't let go of Ada, he grabs her by the throat and easily lifts her into the air. She let her gun fall to the ground as she grabbed her knife.Chris !

-But it was she who kidnapped Jill.Claire groaned.

-So in that case we need her alive.Chris thought then gritted his teeth, he shot the monster, it, disturbed, lowered its guard Ada took the opportunity to stick her knife in its eye. She fell to the ground and shot the eye that was in the center of her chest. He fell to the ground lifeless. Then Chris turned his gun on Ada.

-Put your weapons on the ground with your hands in the air.Ada remained on her knees, trying to catch her breath, ignoring the order.

-She is not our enemy Chris.Claire said, grabbing his arm.

-Yes, she kidnapped Jill and is working with Wesker

-Redfield. Said Ada, addressing the two.Wesker isn't far away, leave before he finds you.She sat up, still breathing heavily.

-He's there ?

-Yes and if he finds you he will kill you so leave!

-It's bullshit !He approached, still pointing his gun at her.Why would you like to help us.

-I have my own reasons, please just leave, Jill is with me, I'm watching her until I can free her, as long as I'm alive, nothing will happen to her so damn it now go! I'm risking my life by hiding the fact that I saw you! Chris gritted his teeth. Then they heard a voice on Ada's walkie-talkie.

-Wong, this is Wesker, I'm heading south, several mutants have been reported... Ada?... Are you receiving me?... Ada stay on your guard.She didn't answer him. Did you find anything? Apparently Chris is in the area.Despite the gun pointing at her, she grabbed the walkie-talkie

-I found Chris Redfield and his sister.Chris gritted his teeth as he raised his gun.But unfortunately a mutant intervened and I had to fight him, they then escaped, but I overpowered a B.O.W that had mutated. I don't know where Chris and the others are now.She cut the call.

-I'll probably pay for it...now leave before he arrives!Chris doesn't say anything. He turned around, grabbing Claire. Seeing Claire Ada thought back to Racoon city

-Ada… why do you stay with him? Why Wesker, you're not a cruel woman, so why be on his side?She shouted as she walked away. Ada smiled sadly.

-It's something I can't control.Once Claire and Chris were out of sight she sighed and returned to the elimination task. Suddenly a growl was heard.One again ! She moaned. The horrible mutant monster jumped on him. She moved to avoid the blow and stabbed her knife into his arm. The creature then suddenly screams.Shit he kept my knife.She ran back from him, turned and fired a burst of her submachine gun at the monster but nothing did. It seemed that the rain of bullets didn't even tickle him. She grabbed her walkie-talkie to warn of the situation but before she could speak the mutant swung his arm towards her. While trying to avoid the blow she lost her communication device. She had rarely faced a creature like that completely alone and in near-complete darkness. She was not in a condition where she could use any light.Sometimes I regret being a simple human surrounded by monsters of all kinds. She smiled alone at this sentence. She didn't have much of a bullet left, nor her knife. All she could do was try to get the walkie-talkie, run away, or wait for someone who heard the bullets to come and help her. She ran behind a tree but quickly realized to her dismay that the creature could see in the dark. He was bigger than her and stronger than her. It only had one arm that looked like a tentacle with claws. She decided to run away from him trying to gain speed but he was also faster than her, her throat burned from the cold air but she couldn't stop.

-You see in the dark and you run faster than me, it's cheating!She said, glancing at him as she ran. She looked in front of her and felt movement coming from behind. The mercenary turned but it was too late, the claw went straight through her hip. She groaned as she threw herself behind a tree, she placed her hand on his wound while grabbing her weapon with her other hand. I really should have stayed in bed.She poked her head out from behind the tree and fired, almost randomly, at the mutant. He then shouts before grabbing the tree behind which the young woman was and throwing it away with one smooth movement. Ada rolled to the side and tried to aim for the monster's eye, her vision began to blur from the massive loss of blood. The creature grabbed her by the wrist and lifted her into the air, almost crushing her bone in the process. She then loses her gun in the process.Am I really going to die here like this? My life has truly been a series of mistakes...She tried to get out of the monster's grip but nothing worked. Then suddenly a too-fast shadow passed over her and the tentacle holding her fell to the ground, and so did she in the process. She came back to her senses and saw Albert standing in front of her, he quickly glanced at her while remaining facing the mutant.

-Just sit there, I'll take care of it.His tone sounded oddly… caring. She sighed with relief. With Wesker here she was safe, a monster facing another monster. She groaned as a wave of pain appeared, then looking at the wound.He didn't miss me, I want to attract men but I'll do without that.She took off her scarf and pressed it against the wound, with the loss of blood she was really starting to feel cold, even starting to shake. She watched in the distance as the man she loved fought easily with the monster. Surpassing him in every way, he soon defeated him. Ada stared at him as he approached. He fell to his knees in front of her, and took off his gloves stained with the monster's blood. Without a word, he pushed Ada to remove the scarf. She leaned against the tree behind her letting him look at the wound. He opened his jacket and lifted his tank top. There was too much blood to see anything, especially in this darkness, so he pressed his hand against the wound to see the depth. The young woman hissed in pain as she watched him do it, he didn't even look up from the wound. She started coughing violently so he pulled his hand back. She quickly calmed down as she fell back intorear coursthe tree.

-The wound is pretty bad, I don't have anything to treat you here so you have to hold on until we get back in the helicopter.He put his handsbehind thehead of theyoung woman and grew to lean against him, her head against his shoulder as he looked at the entry wound in her back. Ada swore he heard him take a sharp breath when he saw the wound. She relaxed in his arms. She could hear his heart beating. After all, it seemed he still had a heart. She closed her eyes as the man wrapped the scarf against her waist and especially the areas where there were the wounds. She began to fall asleep against his poitrine.

-Don't fall asleep darling. It's too cold for you to pass out.She knew he was right but she was so tired.Go…He stood up and forced her to do the same by grabbing her, trying to carry her bridal style. But she didn't let him.

-It's okay, I can walk.Wesker knew it wasn't a good idea, but at least it would keep her conscious. He put his arm around her neck and his hand around her waist, she hissed in pain when he grabbed her left wrist. In fact he was supporting the majority of her weight and felt her shaking quite violently, but this was normal given her blood loss and the surrounding cold.

-All topics have been eliminated?She asked suddenly as they walked towards the helicopter.

-Yes, this mutant was the last.Was all he replied.

-Albert…

-Hum ? He asked, responding to her name. She was the only one to call him by his first name, he would never stop her from doing so. To tell the truth, he liked it coming from this woman.

-Thank you for saving me… again. He said nothing. To tell the truth, he was afraid of arriving too late when he heard the shots coming from the direction of the young woman. He called him on the walkie-talkie but got no , at this point his heart rate had spiked, he felt worry for her he realized, she was the first person to make him feel that way. He was relieved to see her alive when he arrived before understanding, not seeing her get up, and feelingthe smell of blood, that she had been seriously injured. Her injury was very serious, it was even surprising that she was still conscious now. He realized that they had arrived near the helicopter, at this point Ada was leaning even harder on him.

-So the great Ada Wong was injured during such a trivial mission?Said Jack, already there when he saw her arrive.

-Shut up-She didn't have time to finish her sentence.

-She at least defeated 2 BOW mutants. Would you have been able to do it? I doubt. Here's what explains your pay difference.The blond man replied coldly. Everyone was surprised by her outburst. He placed Ada on the seat of the plane sitting against the wall.

-You saved her just because you think I wouldn't know how to replace her. Tskk, I'll show you the opposite.His boss then smiles.

-This is what I want to see from my men, surpass yourself.He looked at Jill who had been in the corner all this time, silent.I'm going back to the office. I'll let you manage it on site.He got on the plane which had taken off andflew away. He placed himself next to the semi-conscious young woman. He started to want to take off the scarf, when she let her head fall on his shoulder. He was surprised but instead of removing it he called her name. Unfortunately he got no response.

-Ada, can you hear me?Always nothing. He turned towards her slightly and placed his fingers against her neck, taking the time to read her pulse. He was weak but present. She had only lost consciousness. He then laid her completely on the seat of the helicopter while placing himself on the seat opposite. He removed the scarf and grabbed a bandage from the plane which he wrapped around his waist, the bleeding had reduced slightly. She needed urgent care and he wanted to treat her himself, knowing that he was the best doctor present in the Tricell premises, as he had done after Racoon city. Normally he did not treat, he did research, microbiology, virology but not medicine. Yet Ada made him want to do it himself.

Chris, Rebecca, Claire and Barry were at the top of a hill as Chris watched the helicopter with his binoculars.

-It looks like Ada was seriously injured. Wesker just got on the helicopter with her.

-What ?! But she was fine when we left.Fit Claire

-On the other hand, Ada, wasn't she the one who kidnapped Jill?Demands Barry.

-It's complicated... She saved my life and saved me and Chris from Wesker, for I don't know what reason she is under Wesker's influence, but she is on our side, she risked her life to let us go...Chris put a hand on his shoulder.We'll have to talk to Léon about it.

-I'll take care of it.Said Chris in a soft voice. But I didn't know she worked for Wesker.He clenched his fists.In any case, she remains an enemy.

-But Chris, you saw what she did to save our lives and you see her as an enemy?! She had nothing to gain by doing this.He had rarely seen his sister so angry with him.She is a victim... I'm sure, I saw it in her eyes, the day Wesker falls she will be on our side, for now I know she has a reason to work with him against his will but I don't know which one...

-Anyway, to get back to the mission... I came across a subject who had mutated, he looked exactly like William Birkins, we have proof, Wesker succeeded in recovering the G-Virus.Chris replied.

-The G-Virus in our hands… We really have a big problem.Does Barry.

-We will delay and think about our next action plan. For the moment let's go back, we succeeded in our mission, we diverted the bus.

-Yeah but you didn't expect all the subjects to escape. We had spent so long planning this mission.

-Of course, but I knew that Wesker would be there to eliminate all the subjects, I had no worries about that.

-I hope so.Said Rebecca with a slight smile

-We've all seen horrors here, mutations due to the virus or worse, so we're not going to lie, Wesker surely has viruses that we don't even know exist... all this in his hands, it could sign the end of the world…Said Rebecca. Chris just nodded.

-This is why our goal, in common with BSAA and S.T.A.R.S, is to stop Wesker.

-You're talking about BSAA and S.T.A.R.S so what do I do there?Said Claire with a raised eyebrow and an amused smile.

-I know your talents, I know I can trust you.Claire just smiled.

-Okay, let's go, I have my daughters waiting for me at home.Barry declared. Heading towards their vehicles.
