1. No sleep for the wicked.
Henry Parks was an old man, the nursing home staff kept telling him that he needed to slow down. He needed to realise his age. Shaking his head, he knew they meant well but in his eyes the carers were merely children who had no idea what went on in the real world. Muttering under his breath he pulled out the mobile phone his grandson Riley had bought for him.

"Don't answer it." Harry mumbled as the phone rang. He had no wish to get up at stupid o clock in the morning but Ruth had already leaned over him in bed, arguing it could be a Redflash. Before he could argue she had answered the call. "Hello Henry. Is everything ok? Its very early." She heard the old man chuckle on the end of the line, muttering that terrorism never slept and could he speak to Harry. Ruth smiled slightly before handing the phone to her husband. "Its Henry."
"Oh God." Harry grumbled, sitting up to take the call. "Henry, it is 4 am. You have retired. I am semi retired. Go back to bed." He argued as he heard the sprightly pensioner admonish him. Sometimes it was difficult not to revert back to the role of field officer when he spoke to his previous boss. Now was not one of those times. "Say that again?"
Henry huffed on the end of the phone. "I am sure you heard me correctly."
"Humour me."
"I am heading back to London in the morning. First light."
"Why?"
"Because my grandson may be involved with something. I can't let the wee lad get into trouble."
"Wee lad? He's 35." Harry paused. "Henry. What do you think Thomas is involved with? Why aren't you talking to his family about this? What has Section D got to do with it?"
"Harry." Henry sighed, pinching his nose as he spoke. "Thomas, as much as I love the lad is not the brightest spark in the sky. He is easily led and if a pretty lass is about well."
"He thinks with the other head he owns." Ruth coughed as her husband spoke.
"Aye. Now, I need your help."
"Yes, tell me again why Section D are to be involved?" Harry was beginning to lose his temper with the older man. Henry was known to talk in riddles and half suggestions when he had been the head of Anti-terrorism.
"Because I have evidence his current blonde bombshell is a sleeper agent for Nightingale."
