Pidge landed Green in the now familiar fjord, with its turquoise cliffs pale green sand, crystal clear water, a tree with pretty white bark and a bench swing, a canyon in the back leading away from it and a cozy little cabin on the beach. Before heading out, she changed into a lilac shirt with matching shorts and sandals., plus grabbing her backpack which held somethings she wanted. Green purred in Pidge's mind as she walked towards the cabin with a breeze blowing through her hair. It was always nice to be there and get away from her duties as a paladin.

As the green paladin drew near the cabin door opened and young galra about her age stepped out. He had fuzzy lavender fur with light blue spots, including his ears, which were similar to a cat's but a little bit taller, violet eyes and a fussy light blue lemur tail. "It's good to see you, Katie. I've got some freshly baked cookies and yarma milk." He greeted giving her a hug.

"It's good to see you too, Kozan. I'm going to be staying longer this time." Pidge replied.

"Ok, so how long were you thinking?"

"Yeah, maybe up to a week, or two."

"So, the rumor is true then, Keith decided to be a Blade full time." Pidge nodded.

"He felt like he wasn't needed as a paladin and ever since Shiro got back he's been… more distant and Keith's been struggling with it. But at least he's getting to spend more time with his little sister."

"It's ok to admit that it still hurts, your still like a sister to him and he's still loves you, and so do I."

"Thanks, Kozan, I love you too." With that they headed inside and Pidge put her backpack in the guest room, while Kozan set everything out. As they ate, the teens caught each other up on what was going on. Kozan was part of the Blades that was hardly in touch with Kolivan and had valuable information that very few had. In turn Pidge was able to give them information that they didn't have access to.

She had met him about five months ago, shortly before learning of the Blades. In that time, Pidge had made about eight trips, staying two through three days each time and had now been dating him for three months. The other paladins were not aware of these trips, thinking that she was still out searching for her brother and Pidge had no intentions of telling them any time soon. After all, it wasn't like they needed to know (at least in her opinion) and she wasn't sure if Shiro would let her come back if he found out.

Once they had finished, Pidge decided to go to the swing and Kozan joined her. Wrapping their arms around each other the young love birds leaned against each other as they swung. They were perfectly happy as they continued to swing, listening to the creak of the tree, and just enjoying being together. "I wish we could be together more." Pidge spoke up before putting her cheek on his shoulder, taking in his cinnamon sent.

"Me too, but we both have responsibilities and I have to stay unseen. Plus, if news were to spread of one of the paladins were dating, we'd never get a chance to get this kind of privacy again. At least for quite some time."

"I know, and I enjoy this privacy, I just wish it didn't interfere with how much time we get together." They were quiet for a moment, then Kozan nuzzled her, smelling her fruity sent.

"We'll have more time once I finish my work and then I can go back to the castle with you. That isn't too far away."

"That'll be nice, but we'll have to deal with the others being over protective."

"We'd have to deal with that eventually anyway. Hey, you want to go swimming?"

"Yeah, that does sound good." After stopping the swing, they bolted to the cabin to get into their swimming suits. Pidge's had a green shirt and shorts, while Kozan's swim trunks, which his girlfriend had bought for him, were red. Before they made it out the door however, Kozan started a wrestling match and neither wanted to back down, so it only ended once they crashed into a wall. After that they actually got out the door and the young Blade got a mischievous look on his face. "Last one in gets dunked!" He called out running off.

"Hey! That's not fair, you have a head start!" The green paladin yelled getting competitive. The boy slowed down for a bit, so she could catch up and then the race was really on. Kozan still won though, but Pidge dunked him before he could do it to her. This led to some more rough housing and once they were done with that, they did some diving along with other water games. "You know, it's a shame most galra can't swim." Pidge commented after coming up for air.

"Yeah, there's only one faction that can and you don't really see them much anymore." Kozan replied before diving back down. Diving after him Pidge, noticed that he was chasing a large fish that looked like something out of a cartoon. Curious she followed, wondering if he planned to catch it. If he did, Kozan would have to corner it first as it could swim faster than them. When Pidge came up for air again, she realized that she no longer knew where she was. "We're nearly there. The fish is heading to its nest in a nearby cave. So, be careful and stay close." Kozan reported surfacing beside her.

"Wait if you know where it's going why don't we go straight there?"

"Because the currents in the cave are constantly changing and I use the fish to find a safe way in and out when I'm collecting cyanberries. Now we'd better keep going or we'll lose him." With that the boy took off, diving back under quickly. Before long Pidge found herself in a large cave, with thousands of glowing cyan berries. Climbing onto the rocky surface they collected as many berries as they could in their cheek pouches, each trying to cram as much as they could in theirs.

Upon returning, the berries were washed and they changed out of their swimming suits. It was about time for dinner so they got it started and decided to read while they waited. Pidge had been surprised when she first found books from earth in a pop-up stand in a market among common books that could be found in most places. But since no one ever said anything about it, (except for Keith, but that was in private) she decided that she really shouldn't have been surprised. After all they had seen weirder things than that on a regular basis. "Hey Katie, how have been giving the others the information I give you without them learning about this?"

"They've just never questioned it, I guess they think I've been finding it while looking for Matt."

"Even Keith?"

"I don't really know; he might suspect something's up and just not saying anything."

"Well, either way I'm glad he hasn't said anything. That is unless he's been watching us the entire time." Pidge leaped on Kozan for making Keith sound like a creep and that was the end of their reading time. Amused, Green purred and decided to tell Red about her paladin's secret boyfriend. After all, Red wouldn't tell Lance and it wouldn't hurt anything if Keith found out. Right?
