After many years of living behind the walls, humanity had finally been faced with hard truth of their existence. The walls that once protected them from the Titans could no longer save them, as seen with what happened to Wall Maria when the Titans attacked. The survivors of the collapse of Wall Maria fled to the interior of Wall Rose as hope of clearing Wall Maria from the Titans did not seem possible. Amongst the many survivors of the Wall Maria disaster were Ben, Eren and Mikasa. The three of them stuck together after everything that happened and weren't going to abandon each other, especially since they had no one else.
The three didn't find Eren's father, Grisha and while Eren didn't want to believe it, Ben and Mikasa had a feeling that he didn't make it. After everything that happened, Ben striped to become stronger so he could keep his promise to Carla of keeping Eren and Mikasa safe. Ben trained in both his human form as well as with his aliens, pushing them past the normal limits of each of their species. It was Ben's goal to make sure that an incident like the Wall Maria disaster didn't happen again and if it did, he wouldn't only need to rely on the omnitrix to save the day.

Dark Void: The Endless Abyss
Waking up in the dark void of the endless abyss, a young Ben slowly woke up and found himself floating around the dark void, unaware of where he was and how he got there
"Where am I?" Ben thought to himself as he was unable to speak
Not being able to speak and not knowing where he was caused the young Ben to start to panic. Panicking, Ben tried to move around but for some reason all he could do was float there, only able to move his eyes and nothing else.
"This is not good, I need to get out of here" Ben thought to himself as he tried to move
Unable to move, Ben felt an immense pressure around him that felt like it was slowly making the air heavier and hard to breathe
"I can't die here, I need to get back to Eren and Mikasa" Ben thought to himself as he struggled to move
Ben eventually realized a way that he could get out of this situation and get back to Eren and Mikasa
"THE OMNITRIX!!!" Ben thought to himself as he came up with a plan
Looking down at his left wrist, Ben went to try and use the omnitrix to try and escape but to his surprise it wasn't there
"What the?" Ben thought confused as the omnitrix was gone
The omnitrix wasn't on Ben's wrist, it had mysteriously vanished which meant that Ben needed to come up with a new way to escape his current situation
"If I can't use the omnitrix, then I'm gonna have to rely on my own skill" Ben thought to himself as he once again struggled to get free and move his body
"Too bad you didn't do that when it mattered the most " an eerie voice from the abyss said to Ben
"Whose there?" Ben thought to himself as he looked around to see where the eerie voice came from
"After many years together, you don't remember my voice? " The same eerie voice from the abyss asked Ben in a mocking tone
"I've never heard your voice before in my life" Ben thought to himself as he tried to move his body
"If you don't remember my voice, then I think you'll remember my FACE!!! " The eerie voice from the abyss said loudly before suddenly appearing before Ben
The source of the eerie voice was that of Ben's own Ectonurite transformation, Ghostfreak
"Ghostfreak?" Ben thought to himself confused
"I'm not the only one who is here Tennyson " Ghostfreak said to Ben, cupping his chin with his clawed figures
Suddenly, more figures began to rise up from the dark void and slowly started to surround Ben as he floated there helplessly. To the surprise of Ben, the other figures that appeared from the dark void were his many other transformations like his Petrosapien transformation, Diamondhead and his Tetramand transformation, Four Arms. Other transformations like his Methanosian transformation, Swampfire and his Segmentasapien transformation Bloxx appeared. All of Ben's transformations had appeared before him with Ghostfreak and all of them had serious looks on their faces as they glared at Ben.
"What are all of you doing here?" Ben thought to himself as he looked around at all of his transformations standing before him
"We are here to remind you of the failure that you are and that no matter what you do, you'll always need us " Ghostfreak tells Ben, poking him in the chest with his clawed finger
"I know I failed that day but I am stronger now then I was before, I won't let something like that ever happen" Ben thought to himself with a serious look on his face
"Try as you may, try as you might, you will always need us to save your life " Ghostfreak tells Ben
All of Ben's other transformations agree with Ghostfreak as they nod their heads, making noises
"No, I will prove once again that I don't need the omnitrix to be a hero" Ben thinks to himself confidently
Ghostfreak and the other alien transformations all laugh at Ben and his confidence
"You are not the great Ben 10K in this universe, you aren't even Ben 10, you are a nobody and you will die in this universe along with those pathetic children and whoever else decides to be your friend " Ghostfreak tells Ben
"I won't let them die, I promised to look after them and keep them safe, I won't break that promise" Ben thinks to himself
"Good luck but with what is coming that outcome is inevitable unless you change something " Ghostfreak says to Ben
"What do I need to change?" Ben thinks to himself with a desperate look on his face
"You need to stop viewing us a mere toys to make your life and the lives of those children easier and you also must push yourself beyond being human " Ghostfreak tells Ben
"Beyond being human?" Ben thinks to himself with a confused look on his face
"We have seen the humans of this world and there are those who stand above even us in terms of power and strength " Ghostfreak says
"I have to be like them?" Ben thinks to himself
"No, you must rise above them and the first step to achieving that is surviving all of us " Ghostfreak says
At that exact moment, the dark void that Ben was floating in began to shake as a giant figure emerged from the abyss and towered over Ben and the alien transformations around him. The giant figure that was towering over Ben and the alien transformations was Ben's own To'kustar transformation, Waybig.
"Good luck Tennyson, your new hell is all that you will be seeing every time you close your eyes " Ghostfreak tells Ben
Ben looks up as Waybig crosses it's arms and fires a massive energy beam at him
"NO!!!" Ben thinks to himself loudly as he closes his eyes and braces himself

Alleyway: Refugee Camp, Wall Rose
"NO!!!" Ben yelled loudly as he awoke from his sleep, shooting up and looking around
Once Ben was awake, he looked around and saw that he was no longer in the dark void, surrounded by his transformations. Instead, he found himself sleeping on a burlap sack on the ground in an alleyway where Mikasa and Eren were sleeping as well. Seeing that he was okay, Ben let out a sigh of relief and looked down at his wrist to see the omnitrix on it. The omnitrix no longer looked like the bulky prototype version that appeared on Ben's wrist when he came to this universe. It looked like a more slimmed down version of the prototype omnitrix with a look more closely resembling the omnitrix after it recalibrated after four years but keeping the old dial layout and color scheme.

"Guess he wasn't lying when said my personal hell would be there every time I go to sleep" Ben said to himself with an annoyed sigh
Over the past year since the fall of Wall Maria and the Shiganshina District, Ben had been having extremely vivid dreams were he had to face off against all of his transformations and try to beat them without transforming himself. Every time Ben would lose and would have to keep on going until a different transformation wanted to fight him. Ben had no idea why it was happening but it did feel like it was making him stronger which was something he needed to be if he wanted to keep his promise.
"You're already up Ben?" Mikasa asks Ben a she wakes up
"Couldn't sleep" Ben answered
"Same" Eren said as he woke up next
"We better hurry and get our rations before the line gets too long" Mikasa said as she got up off the sack she was sleeping on
Ben and Eren got up next and followed behind Mikasa as they left the alleyway to get their daily rations

Rations Line: Refuge Camp, Wall Rose
Ben, Eren and Mikasa were standing together in the ration line waiting to get their daily bread rations before they ran out. This was something they did everyday since coming to Wall Rose as refugees. It was like this for other refugees as well, the ones who were still alive and hadn't died of hunger or other more darker reasons. Due to the flow of refugees, lots of money had been spent on feeding them and giving them places to stay. Ben was lucky enough to find an abandoned alleyway where he could stay with Eren and Mikasa.
"Remember to say thank you when you get your bread" Ben tells Eren and Mikasa
"Understood" Mikasa says
"Whatever" Eren says with a huff as he looks away from Ben while glaring at him
Ever since that day, Eren hadn't really been talking to Ben and had been holding resentments against him. Eren while not fully blaming Ben for what happened believed that it was Ben's fault for not being able to save his mother from being eaten by that Titan. Ben had tried to explain to him that there was nothing he could do but Eren didn't care and Ben felt that Eren needed someone to blame and if blaming him helped Eren heal in some way, Ben was fine with that person being him.
"Don't worry Ben, he'll get over it" Mikasa tells Ben, trying to reassure him
"I know he will" Ben says with a sigh as he looks over at the still glaring Eren
As the line continues to move, Ben along with Eren and Mikasa overhear some soldiers who are monitoring the ration line, talking about the refugees and making comments that anger Ben but mostly anger Eren
"Look at them, nothing but filthy rats" one of the soldiers says with a disgusted scoff
"We're facing food shortages from feeding them" the other soldier says
As the soldiers continue to talk with one another, insulting the survivors from Wall Maria, Eren's anger grows till he decides to confront the soldiers
"Don't do it Eren" Ben tells Eren, grabbing him by the arm, trying to stop Eren
Eren manages to pull his arm away from Ben as he walks over the two soldiers
"What do you want runt?" One of the soldiers asks Eren in an annoyed tone as Eren stands in front of him
Suddenly, Eren kicks the soldier in the leg with all of his strength, causing the guard to fall to the ground in pain
"My leg!!!" The soldier said as he grabbed his leg and held it in pain
"You little shit" the other soldier said as he drew his sword and aimed it Eren
"Both of you need to shut up, you know nothing of what happened to us, you are just cowards who've never seen death before" Eren tells the soldiers with venom in his voice
"You're dead rat" the other soldier said as he got up and drew one of his swords
Both soldiers were going to hit and kill Eren if it Armin hadn't suddenly stepped in and stopped them
"Please forgive my friend, he doesn't know any better" Armin tells the soldiers, trying to stop them from hurting Armin
"Get out of my way Armin" Eren says as he tries to interject before Ben steps in and stops him
"Please, do not hurt my brother, he is unwell and is a little slow" Ben tells the soldiers
"He still shouldn't put his hands on those who are superior to him" one of the soldiers tells Ben in a serious tone
"I will do the best I can to make sure he understands that" Ben says as he lowers his head to the soldiers
Eren tries to speak up but Ben elbows him in the gut and forcefully lowers his head
"Again, both he and I are sorry for what happened" Ben tells the soldiers as he lowers his and Eren's head to them
Seeing the display Ben was putting on, both soldiers sheath their blades and decide to overlook what had happened
"We'll forget what happened here today" one of the soldiers says
"Just make sure you keep better track of the brother of yours" the other soldier tells Ben
"Rest assured, I will do my best" Ben says with a fake smile on his face
Eren once again tries to say something but Ben stops him by elbowing him in the gut again and keeping his head down
"Thank you for your kindness, we will not forget it" Armin says to the two soldiers, thanking them
"Whatever, just don't let it happen again" one of the soldiers says
With that, both of the soldiers walk away and leave the area, allowing Ben to let go of Eren's head and letting him finally speak
"That was a close one" Armin says with a sigh of relief
"I'm glad you stepped in before me" Ben tells Armin
"I saw what was going on and headed over quickly" Armin says
As Ben let's out a sigh of his own, he finally relaxes before Eren starts talking
"What the hell was that?" Eren asks angered
"That was us, saving your head" Ben tells Eren
"If we hadn't stepped in, who knows what those soldiers would have done" Armin says
"I didn't ask either of you step in and help me" Eren tells Ben and Armin
"It doesn't matter if you did or didn't, I'm not going to let you get hurt" Ben tells Eren
"I don't need you looking out for me, I can take care of myself" Eren tells Ben with a huff
"Are you really sure about that? I think you might be confused" Ben says to Eren
Already, it was looking like a fight was going to break out between Ben and Eren which Mikasa decided to step in and stop it from happening
"Eren, just say thank you and forget about it" Mikasa tells Eren
"Why should I thank him? It's not like he did anything to help, except make himself look weak and pathetic to those jerks" Eren says
"Weak and pathetic?" Ben asks Eren
"Exactly that, you are weak and pathetic, you let everyone walk all over you, I guess I can see why you failed to save my mother and the rest of Wall Maria" Eren says with a scoff as he looks away from Ben
Being reminded of his failure to save Carla as well as all of the Shiganshina District and Wall Maria from the Titans by an ungrateful Eren finally angered Ben
"You need to take that back" Ben tells Eren in a serious tone
"Why should I? I'm not wrong, you let my mother die, you failed to stop the Titans and you failed to be the hero you told us you were" Eren says, crossing his arms and angering Ben more
"It wasn't my fault, there was nothing I could do" Ben says as he clenched his teeth, holding his anger back
"That's what those who are weak say, it was your fault, all your fault, you aren't a hero, you are nothing and my mother's blood is on your hands" Eren tells Ben, yelling at him
Ben just stands there and doesn't say anything as flashes of what happened that day played through his mind. Ben saw Carla stuck under the rubble, he remembered her tears and her smile as she made him promise to keep Eren and Mikasa safe. Ben then remembered not being able to save Carla as the Titan killed and ate her while he watched.
"She treated you like a son and that's how you repay her? Letting her get killed by a Titan while you do nothing" Eren says, continuing to anger and insult Ben
"Come on Eren" Armin says, trying to stop Eren
"No, he deserves all of this because all of this is his fault" Eren says, refusing to stop
"You need to stop Eren, none of this is Ben's fault" Mikasa tells Eren, also trying to get him to stop
"I'm not going to stop, I'm going to keep reminding him that he is a failure, he failed my mother, he failed my father, he failed everyone which proves that he's not a hero, he's a failure and that's all he'll ever be" Eren says as he stands there with his arms crossed and head up
At that point, Ben had heard enough of what Eren had to say and no longer would he keep his anger in check
"You need to shut up" Ben says quietly
"Got something to say failure?" Eren asks Ben, mocking him
"You need to SHUT UP!!!" Ben answers, yelling loudly before he lunges at Eren and punches him in the face
Neither Mikasa or Armin were expecting Ben to snap and hit Eren, knocking him to the ground. Ben stood over the more smaller Eren and punched him in the face again while holding him down.
"Shut your stupid mouth you little bastard, I have heard enough of it" Ben said as he continued to punch Eren
"GET OFF OF ME!!!" Eren yelled as he managed to push Ben off of him
"You two need to stop" Mikasa said as she and Armin got between Ben and Eren
"He needs to shut up and stop talking about things he knows nothing about" Ben tells Mikasa
"You need to stop acting all high and mighty like you're a hero because you're not" Eren tells Ben
"Both of you need to stop this" Mikasa tells Ben and Eren
"You guys are friends, you shouldn't be acting like this" Armin said to them
"We aren't friends, he just some bum my father brought home who began mooching off of us till he decided he couldn't do anything to repay us so he let my mother die" Eren said, insulting Ben
"Really? Says the weakling brat who needs to be saved all the time" Ben fires back, insulting Eren
"I never asked you to always save me, that's on you for thinking I needed your help" Eren tells Ben
"Your mom made me promise to look after you and keep you safe, even before she asked me to do that, I already took it upon myself to look after you and be there for you when you needed help because I felt like it was something I could do for everything she did for me" Ben tells Eren as his anger continued to grow
"And look at how that turned out" Eren says with a scoff
At that moment, Ben managed to punch Eren once more, knocking him down to the ground
"Fine then, I'm done looking after you, I'm dome taking care of you, I'm done being your friend and wasting my time trying to keep you safe, you could get eaten by a Titan and I wouldn't care, heck, I wish you would get eaten by a Titan so I can finally focus on myself and do what it is I want to do" Ben tells Eren
"Whatever, good riddance" Eren says as he holds his cheek
Ben finally turned and started walking away, having had enough of Eren and wanting some space to himself. As Mikasa stays to deal with Eren, Armin chased after Ben and tried to stop him.
"Ben" Armin says
"Go, talk to him, I need some alone time" Ben tells Armin without looking back at him
Armin doesn't say anything and decides to do what Ben told him to do, running back to Eren and Mikasa while Ben walked away

Alleyway: Refuge Camp, Wall Rose
After leaving the ration line and dealing with Eren, Ben returned to the alleyway where he had been staying with Eren and Mikasa. Ben went to his spot and sat down before yelling at the top of his lungs.
"JERK!!!" Ben yells loudly before he slams his fist on the ground
Ben had tried his best to be there for Eren and help while he grieved but after time and time of Eren saying those same things, insulting Ben when he got angry, Ben had finally had enough of it
"I'm done, I'm really done with him" Ben said to himself as he tried to calm down
What had happened was the last straw for him, Ben had finally had enough of it and was done with Eren. He wasn't going to save him anymore, he wasn't going to help him when he got into fights, Ben was done protecting and looking after Eren.
"If he wants to take care of himself, so be it, I'm not going to stop, let's hope a Titan kills and eats him, maybe then he'll see if I really care" Ben said to himself with a huff
After the past year of Ben doing all he could to fulfill his promise to Carla, his promise to look after Eren and keep him safe, Ben was done and decided he wasn't going to do it anymore
"I'm over it, starting today, I'm only going to be looking after myself" Ben said to himself, sounding confident
As Ben had finally made up his mind and had calmed down, he leaned back and began to think about what Eren had said to him. Doing that made Ben think about Carla and everything that she had said to him and done for him. While Ben already had a mother of his own, Carla had became a mother figure to him. She cared about his wellbeing, she took care of him and looked after him, Carla treated Ben like he was her son. Even after all of that, he still failed to save her, he failed to pay her back for everything she had done to him. Ben felt as though he had failed as a son and didn't deserve to view himself as Carla's son which only made her death hurt even more then it already did.
"Why did I have to fail?" Ben asks himself as tears start to fall from his eyes
While Ben sat there and started to cry, he felt a warm sensation around him which felt like he was being hugged
"Even though I am not your mother by blood, you are still a son to me"
Ben hears Carla's voice and remembers everything she had ever said to him
"Promise me you'll be strong and that you'll look after them, keeping them safe"
Ben hears Carla's voice once more in his head and remembers the promise that he made to her that day. He promised to look after Eren and Mikasa, he promised to stay strong and keep the both of them safe. Ben didn't like breaking promises and there was no way he'd break his promise to Carla, especially after everything that had happened.
"I promise that I will stay strong and keep looking after them, making sure that they are safe" Ben says to himself
"Good boy"
Looking back on everything, Ben remembered the day that he first revealed his powers to Eren as well as Mikasa and Armin way back before the Titans attacking Wall Maria

The Forest: Outside The Shiganshina District, Wall Maria
Inside the forest near the outside of the Shiganshina District, Ben was gathering wood with Eren and Mikasa as well as Armin who had decided to tag along with them. Armin was against entering the forest as it was the same one where Ben and Eren's father Grisha ha encountered that Titan.
"Hurry up Armin, stop dragging behind" a young Eren tells a young Armin
"I still don't think we should be out here" the young Armin says, sounding nervous
"I kind of agree with Armin" Ben says, speaking up
"The forest is the best place for wood and besides, there aren't any dangerous creatures out here" Eren says
"Aren't you worried about Titans?" The young Armin asks Eren
"Don't get me wrong, Titans are scary and while they could attack at any given moment, I think we are safe for now" the young Eren answered
"Well, I still don't want to run into one" the young Armin said, still sounding nervous
"Both of you need to relax a bit" Ben tells Eren and Armin
"Whatever Ben, don't act like you weren't scared when you and my father encountered that Titan" the young Eren tells Ben
Ben didn't say anything as he didn't want to tell Eren that he killed that Titan by transforming into an alien who was mad out of crystals or that he could transform into other different aliens as well
"Sure" Ben says with a shrug as he keeps walking
The group continued to make their way through the forest, filling their packs with pieces of wood before they decide to take a break. At that point, it was the middle of the day and the four of them had been out there for well over an hour now.
"I think we've got enough wood now" Ben said, looking around at their packs of wood
"I agree" the young Armin said, agreeing with Ben
"Yeah, I think so too" the young Eren said
"We better head back before it starts to get dark" a young Mikasa said, speaking up
Ben looked up at the sky and saw that the sun was slowly starting to go down which meant that it would be dark soon
"Let's get a move on, don't want to be lost in the forest at night" Ben said as he stood up
"Okay, follow me then" the young Eren said as he got up and grabbed his wood pack, leading the way
"Who decided to make you leader?" The young Armin asked Eren
"Yeah, who did decide that?" Ben asks the young Eren
"No one did, I just decided it" Eren answers with an embarrassed look on his face
"I think Ben should be the leader" the young Mikasa said, speaking up
"Agreed, Ben should be the leader" the young Armin said, agreeing with the young Mikasa
"WHAT!?!" Eren asked in disbelief
"Enough, let's discus who will be the leader when we get back home" Ben said, stopping a fight before it could happen
With that put aside, the four continued on their way back to the Shiganshina District Gate before it got dark. As the four made their way, they walked past a group of trees before the ground suddenly started to shake.
"What's going on?" The young Eren asked with a worried look on his face
"Is it an earthquake?" The young Armin asked as he tried to keep his balance
"It's not an earthquake" Ben said as he looked around
"THE GROUND!!!" The young Mikasa said loudly, pointing at the ground
Ben and the others looked down at the ground and saw it slowly start open up as a large hole began to form
"SINKHOLE!!!" Ben yelled loudly
Ben then grabbed Mikasa and jumped out of the way as the sinkhole continued to grow beneath their feet. Eren and Armin tried to get away but ended up slipping and almost falling into the sink hole. Luckily both of them were able to grab om to a long tree root but it wouldn't be able to hold them for long.
"HELP!!!" The young Eren yelled loudly
"Help us" the young Eren begged
"I'll save you" Mikasa said as she tried to go and save both Eren and Armin before Ben stopped her
"Don't, if you move the hole will get bigger and drag you down on it too" Ben tells Mikasa
"What are you going to do?" The young Eren asks as he struggles to hold on to the tree root with Armin
"We should go get help" the young Mikasa suggested
"They won't be able to hold on for that long" Ben said
"Guys, this tree root is starting to snap" the young Eren tells Ben and the young Mikasa
"We need to get out of here" the young Armin said as he did his best to hold on to the tree root
Ben looked around and saw that Eren and Armin didn't have much time left before they let go of the tree root or it broke both outcomes ending the same way. Ben knew he needed to do something quickly and looking down at the omnitrix on his wrist, he knew there was only one thing he could do.
"I have to do it" Ben said to himself
The only person who knew the truth about Ben and what he could do was Grisha, neither Eren, Mikasa or Armin knew the truth which made this hard for Ben to do
"No, I'm not going to let them die" Ben said to himself, making a decision
"What do we do Ben?" The young Mikasa asked Ben
"I've got this, stand back" Ben tells the young Mikasa
Ben activated the omnitrix, twisting the dial until he came across the icon of the alien that he wanted. Once Ben selected the alien that he wanted, he pressed the button which caused the omnitrix dial to pop up.
"Here goes nothing" Ben said to himself before he slammed the omnitrix dial down
Both the young Mikasa and young Eren as well as the young Armin watched in awe as Ben was engulfed in a bright green light. When the green light faded away, it was revealed that Ben had transformed into a blue furred humanoid chimpanzee alien that had a long tail. This ape-like alien also had four green eyes, four arms, a mouth that could split apart with the omnitrix badge being on the upper left part of the alien's chest as it wore a white and black outfit.

The alien that Ben had transformed into was his Arachnachimp transformation that he called Spidermonkey
"What the?" The young Mikasa asked stunned
"Ben?" The young Eren asked confused
"What happened to you?" The young Armin asks Ben
"I'll tell you everything but for right now the two of you need to hold still" Ben says as he makes ape-like sounds
Ben then jumped up into the air with ease and fired two long spider-like web lines from his tail, hitting both Eren and Armin in the back, sticking to then
"And up we go" Ben said as he pulled both Eren and Armin back towards him
Ben was able to catch the two of them as he landed back on the ground next to Mikasa
"We're saved" the young Armin said
"Ben, you saved us" the young Eren said
"It's just something I do" Ben said with a chuckle
"What are you Ben?" The young Mikasa asked Ben
"Yeah Ben, what are you?" The young Eren asks Ben
"I guess you could say that I'm a hero" Ben answered

Alleyway: Refuge Camp, Wall Rose
After that, Ben told the three of them everything about how he was a hero from another universe and how he could transform into aliens and how Eren's father was helping him find a way back to his own universe
"I guess I have always been there to save him" Ben said to himself with a shrug
"You okay Ben?" A voice asks Ben
Ben looks up and sees Mikasa standing there
"Oh, hey Mikasa, sorry about that back there" Ben says, apologizing to Mikasa
"You don't need to apologize, Eren said some extremely hurtful things to you" Mikasa tells Ben
"He did but I shouldn't have let my anger get the best of me" Ben said
"He needed that and besides while he won't ever say it to you, he is sorry for the things he said and only said them because he is angry about everything too" Mikasa tells Ben

"I doubt that will happen but Eren will calm down enough to realize that his anger shouldn't be directed towards you" Mikasa says
"Yeah, I have a feeling that'll be the case too, hopefully he won't let that anger consume him though" Ben said

In the following years after the destruction of Wall Maria and the chaos that followed afterwards, humanity did its best to try and move forward and continue on. The Royal Government began to try and rectify the food shortages by having the refugees cultivate land but it wasn't enough. Food continued to dwindle with time and starvation amongst the people only continued to grow as the refugees continued to struggle to grow crops. Ben, Eren, Mikasa and Armin were amongst the refugees tasked with cultivating the land and while Ben was able to use some of his aliens to help, there wasn't much they could do as there was just too much.
In another following year, the Royal Government used the refugees as well as soldiers to launch a military campaign with the goal of taking back Wall Maria. Unfortunately, the campaign was a total failure with a high amount of casualties. Amongst those causalities was Armin's grandfather, leaving him without anyone to look after him. Ben wanted to help but he had to take care of Eren and Mikasa. He also didn't want the Royal Government to find out about him and what he could do for fear of what the government would do to him.
Ben still continued to train and grow stronger, now training Eren and Mikasa as well as Armin who all also wanted to get stronger with Ben. Ben was more than happy to train the three of them as it meant that they'd be able to take care of themselves if he wasn't around. And after another year, Ben, Eren, Mikasa and Armin were old enough to sign up and join the military. The four of them were sent to the military training camp with other young people to form the newly created 104th Cadet Corps with their commander being a man by the name of Keith Sadies.

104th Cadet Corps Training Camp: Wall Rose
It was the first day of training for the members of the newly formed 104th Cadet Corp as they all stood in lines while their Commandant, Keith Sadies was giving them a lecture. Amongst the recruits of the 104th Cadet Corps, Ben, Eren, Mikasa and Armin can all be seen standing in line looking straight forwards. Ben looked over and saw Eren standing there and saw the look on his face. Ben didn't have to guess, he already knew what Eren was thinking which meant that Ben was going to have to be ready for anything.
"I promise Carla, I will look after him and keep him safe" Ben thinks to himself with a confident look on his face

Author's Note
Hello there readers, it is SJMS09 and here is the 4th chapter of Omni-Titan, I hope that all of you enjoyed it and are ready for the next chapter. It is official, Ben Jason joined the military and is now a member of the 104th Cadet Corps with Eren and Mikasa. I should mention now that these next few chapters, Ben isn't really going to be transforming as much. He's going to be mostly in his human form so no one else can find out about the omnitrix and what he can do with it. I'll try to find little moments where Ben can transform in a chapter but there will be a few chapters where he doesn't transform at all. I hope this won't be a problem for you readers but trust me, I am building up to something epic in a future chapter.
I'm not going to spoil anything, but I will say that you readers are not going to want to miss what I've got planned. Now, I now this chapter is coming out later than I wanted but I had a lot on my plate today and it took me a bit longer to get things done today. Still though, I managed to get this chapter out and I'm already working on the next one as well as the chapter for my other story, Road Trip. Moving on, I am now going to be responding to comments from the last chapter.
