I woke up to the sight a brown haired beauty, this was preferable to the white menace that was Gojo.

"Look who woke up!"

Speak of the devil and he shall appear I suppose.

"Neh, Gojo leave the kid alone, he just woke up"

Shoko, the amazing women that she is, would know a lot about Gojo being annoying when one was tired.

...I Envy him...greatly.

"Shoko I'm taking the kid! Talk to you later!"

A look of mild indignation appeared on Shoko's face before I was suddenly in a classroom. I groaned at the new senary

"I don't feel like sleeping on the floor ya bastard"

"Well too bad because you've got some explaining to do"

I blinked at that, Gojo hadn't questioned any of my actions up to this point, he let me slide with the blood manipulation and the numerous times I, seemingly randomly, gained cursed energy. So why now?

"...What?"

There wasn't much I could do here, There was no escape, Gojo can sense when I lie, and I stood no chance in a confrontation with him. All I could do was tell the truth and hope that's enough for him.

"I've been very lenient with you because I was hoping that you would come to me without me having to force it out of you, yet you haven't said anything, so I'm done waiting. Talk."

"...What do you want to know?"

"Let's start with the blood manipulation, your not a Kamo, you shouldn't have it"

"On campus grounds, there's a shed that's filled with a bunch of cursed objects and cursed tools"

"And?"

"Are you familiar with the story of Noritoshi Kamo?"

"Of course I am"

"So, you know about the curse-human hybrids right?"

Gojo nodded, it was clear he didn't like the posturing that he was being presented with.

"Well, I found those curse-humans and made a binding vow with them"

Gojo tensed

"What exactly was the binding vow"

"I would get all there powers"

"At what cost?"

"..."

"Talk."

"I can't explain it"

"Why can't you explain it?"

"I just can't, ok?"

It was weak, I know, but what was I supposed to say? 'Hey, I'm from another universe and I know about the history of this world better then you do' Yeah, no.

"Does it have something to do with your rather odd change in behavior that occurred the day before we met?"

I stilled.

"...What are you talking about"

He didn't respond verbally, he merely picked up a file and placed it in my line of sight. On it, the paper gave a brief description of Haruta's personality, this included interviews with people I knew, My landlord, the people that lived in the same apartment complex, the grocery store clerk, and anyone that Haruta has ever spoken too.

"Shigemo Haruta is a relatively young teen who has shown a personality that is cowardly, he is visibly nervous around people that have more power then him. Haruta in the presence of his landlord is so nervous that he can't even bring himself to talk to him"

He kept going.

" Shigemo Haruta has been able to see cursed spirits for at least a year given the fact that his old mentor, Geto Suguru had an apprentice that he gave up on after realizing that his personality was hard wired to oppose the strong, meaning he would never be strong enough to make a difference."

"The Haruta Shigemo that I met however is not like that, the Haruta that is my student is kind towards those weaker then him, does not fear the strong but admires them and strives to gain strength to impress those that are strong. The dramatic shift in Haruta's personality over the span of a day suggest that the person sitting across from me is not Shigemo Haruta"

"Was it really that easy to deduce?"

"Yes"

"So what do you want"

"I want to know what your intentions are for me and your classmates, are you a threat?"

"No. Absolutely not."

"Prove it"

"How"

"Tell me everything that has lead to you coming here"

I guess the illusion that I was one of them was crumbling around me, I knew I was different but I wanted to believe otherwise.

"I...am not from this world"

"...Go on"

"There exists a parallel earth to this one, a world in which cursed energy doesn't exist. In this world, people find entertainment in fiction, novels and the such. One Day, a man with an idea for a story began writing it, that story grew to be immensely popular, so much so that someone not from there country had read the story. The story was fantastical, filled with heartbreaking moments as we watch the hero of the story fight and persevere"

"This story had a power system that baffled many, the main source of energy was one born out of the negative emotions, yet those same emotions lead to the villains of the story becoming villains"

"One day, someone who had been reading this story for a long time, got into an accident after one of his buddies got in trouble with a gang, he went to help his friend out but didn't make it because of a bullet to the brain"

"..."

"He woke up in the body of one of the characters from that show that he loved so dearly but, there was a problem. See, the character he had become would die by the hands of a villain. So, this guy went to the hero's teacher in order to not die"

"..."

"..."

"I see. That clears many things up and opens a lot of doors to look into now doesn't it?"

I didn't want to ask but I had to, the fear that had gripped my heart would not let go until that question was answered. In a quiet voice I ask

"Do I stay?"

"..."

"..."

"I'll let you know in a weeks time"

"..."

"Thank you"
