Hearts racing as they hurry through the building, knowing that neither one is strong enough to go hand-to-hand with him. They would need to move, and keep on moving until they got somewhere safe.

"How could he find me from out there?" Craig asks.

"It must be from when you were in heat, he must have made some type of subconscious lock onto it. And since you're not on any suppressants, or somewhere that's closed off, he must be able to track it right now," Kenny quickly explains as they head for a door.

They enter into a long hallway and make their way down it as well. When reaching the halfway point of it, something in the distance makes a bang. The two look back, but don't see anything and keep on going.

"There—a door leading out!" Kenny says as they come across an empty room and head in.

As they do, the door from which they came in from before slams open down the hall. It causes Craig to tighten his grip in Kenny's hand and move instantly closer to him. He does it so fast that he steps onto the back heel of his boot and nearly trips over him. Kenny helps steady him for a moment, but quickly hurries him forward as fast footsteps echo down the hall.

"Craaaig I know you're here," Damien calls out, "I can smell your scent."

Even though Kenny couldn't see him right now, he could hear the smirk clear as day in his taunting words. And the fear they were causing Craig. They reach the door and Kenny tries his best to open it as quietly as he can. It goes well, as he manages to squeeze through it, but as Craig goes to, it squeaks open more from his foot nudging it and the two don't wait around as the footsteps down the hall pick up. They exit out behind the building and quickly rush over to the next one beside it.

They enter through a broken window, just as the door they came out of screeches open. Kenny helps Craig up from the window fall and they try to hurry through the new location. They make it through another door then to a boarded one as they slip through its gaps. They reach another door leading back outside, and hurry to the next building which ends up being the big mill factory.

They head up a set of stairs and come to a stop in a small room to catch their breaths. Kenny walks to a small window in the room, and just catches a fleeting glimpse of Damien running into the mill as well.

"Come on Stan, where are you?" Kenny mutters to himself. He tries to look for a way down, but can't find one. "We're going to need to move again, Damien's in the building," he explains walking over to Craig. "You ready?"

"Yeah," Craig nods.

He takes Kenny's hand again and they head to the door. Just as Kenny reaches for it, Craig's grip tightens in his hand, which causes him to stop and look back at him. Craig's expression is a mix of concern and worry. His brows furrowed hard together. Kenny's own expression softens and he squeezes his hand back.

"I promise I'll protect you with everything I have," he reassures him.

But Craig's expression remains the same, if not hardening more from it. As if there was something else he was concerned for.

Kenny turns to the doorknob.

"Alright now let's—"

"Promise me," Craig says and Kenny looks back at him, "promise me that, you'll be okay too. That you won't be hurt." a pause follows as Kenny's expression changes again and his gaze drifts away. "Promise me!" Craig repeats, his grip tightening with nerves.

"Craig I—"

There's a loud bang then, from somewhere outside the room in the corridors. At first Kenny is unsure if he should open the door or not, but when there's another bang in the corridor further off, he places his hand back on the knob and turns it, slowly opening it. When he glances out of it, he doesn't spot anything. Tense, he glances around once again, just to make sure, before stepping out with Craig into the hall. Craig stays close to him, his free hand gripping onto Kenny's sleeve as they make their way through the halls. It's quiet, as they make their way down a set of stairs. Kenny's senses on high alert as they reach the first floor again.

They make their way past a long conveyor belt and approach an exit. Kenny feels a small bit of relief when spotting it, glad that they were nearing a way out from the building. But he regrets letting his guard down for that brief moment as they pass a thick steel beam and a sharp tug from behind pulls him back. Craig's grip loosens off of him and he quickly turns around. The first thing he sees is Craig's terrified face, then two arms wrap around his tensed body. Next he sees a smirk spread, as his attention is drawn to Damien's face. It disappears as Damien moves his face into the crook of Craig's neck and breathes him in. His lips pressed to it.

"I finally found you, my little omega," he murmurs against it. Craig struggles to move away when Damien opens his mouth and runs his tongue over his neck, "I missed your taste…and scent," he hums.

"Let him go," Kenny seethes.

There's a pause before Damien looks up at him.

"Ah yes, you. The so-called 'friend', was it?" he asks and stands back up straight. "You know, I found it strange how one individual such as yourself was able to cause so much chaos at the auction show before, or how you are even here in the Omega District now. Because no one should be able to do such things so well planned, or thought out. Which got me thinking… that you are probably more than you appear. Knowing where to go and hide. Being able to fight so well and go undetected when need be. There's only two conclusions that I could come up with for everything that's happened so far. Either you're a well trained ex-fighter of some sort, or you're a part of the group going around in the Beta District setting omegas free and causing trouble for my business associate," he tells him and a small smile forms. "I'm sure you can guess which one my answer landed on." Kenny tenses at that, unsure of what's to come but having a bad feeling about it. "But the thought provoked me more, and a question started to linger in the back of my mind. How much you want to help Craig here because of it, how strongly you felt about it to deal with it personally. And it made me wonder… what if you turned out to be that team's leader? And what if I…" he lets go of Craig slowly then and moves him out of the way, "...was able to get rid of you so that you wouldn't cause any more trouble for other alphas anymore? And also to keep you from getting in my way as well."

The blood in Kenny's veins starts to pump faster as Damien walks over to him. But before he can reach him, Craig rushes back over to Kenny and stands in front of him, blocking Damien's path. Damien stops and looks down at him.

"I won't let you," Craig says with a glare. But despite it, Kenny could sense his fear.

Damien pauses for a few more seconds to look him over before a small smirk spreads on his face.

"How cute," he says then looks past him, "but this is one more reason for me to take care of him, so that he won't take you away from me again."

He grabs one of Craig's shoulders then and shoves him out of the way. So much so, that it's enough to make him fall down to the floor.

"Craig!" Kenny shouts, but that short distraction is enough of a gap for Damien to throw a punch and for Kenny to barely dodge it.

Another punch is thrown as Kenny steps back, nearly tripping over himself. But he manages to steady himself just as a third one is thrown and quickly diverts it's path with his arm, pushing it away. He moves out of the way, as another punch is thrown at him and quickly scans the area for a weapon to defend himself with. His eyes land on a rebar sticking up and he quickly goes for it. Damien gives chase after him and Kenny grabs the metal bar and quickly brings it up and swings it around. It's heavier than he thinks it should be, and when it hits Damien's side he sees why. There's a big chunk of concrete attached to its end that gives enough force to knock Damien away.

His eyes fall onto Craig briefly as he gets back up before looking back to Damien. He swings the bar again and Damien blocks the blow with his arms as it cracks on impact. Damien then grabs the bar and pulls it forward dragging Kenny with it and he grabs the front of his sweater and shoves him down to the floor. Kenny loses his grip on the bar and it skids just out of reach. Damien grabs his sweater with both hands and keeps him pinned to the floor as he sits on his stomach with a sneer. There's a low rumble, like that of a growl erupting from the back of his throat.

"You know, there's something I've only just now noticed about you. Something that I don't like," Damien says, and leans in close to him, "your scent, it has Craig's all over it," he sniffs his neck and pauses, "no… yours is all over him…" he leans away then and glances back over to Craig. Something in his expression shifts then as if he comes to a realization, "now I get it," and he looks back down at Kenny. "You fucked him. It only makes sense, as he was so horny and wanting of cock to fill him up. And you were probably more than willing to give him what he was begging for. Shame. I wanted to be his first. I know I'd be able to give him all he wants and more," he lets go of his sweater and moves his hands to his throat. "But I guess killing you will more than make up for that."

Pressure builds in Kenny's head and he tries to reach for the bar. It's just out of reach from the tips of his fingers, brushing just against it. Small flashes start to dance in the corner of his vision as it darkens. He does all he can to extend his arm for the bar and somehow is able to grip it in his fingertips and swiftly move it fast and hard into the side of Damien's head, shattering the concrete on the end of it.

Damien is knocked off of him and Kenny rolls to the side, coughing and gasping for air. He gets up and makes his way over to Craig, while he could hear loud swearing coming from behind him. How the hell that hit didn't knock Damien out, Kenny didn't know. But then again, this was an alpha he was dealing with.

"Craig," Kenny says when reaching him, "you got to get out of here, you got to go."

"But—"

"You need to get somewhere safe," Kenny tells him.

"I can't though, you—"

"Don't worry about me—just go!" Kenny says.

The concern on Craig's face and fear in his heart, force Kenny to try and smile and reassure him.

"I'll be okay," he says and runs a hand down the side of his face gently, resting his palm on his cheek. "Now go," he says lightly.

Craig gives a nod before backing away, slow at first, then picking up speed as it turns into a full on sprint and he exits the building.

"That won't do any good," Damien laughs as he stands back up, a thin trail of blood now traveling down his face, "I know his scent, I can just find him again."

"As long as he's away from you. That's all that matters," Kenny tells him.

There's a pause before Damien runs towards him and Kenny takes off in another direction from him. Kenny thought leading him away could work, to somewhere that he could use as an advantage. But Damien quickly gains speed on him as he jumps over conveyor belts and grabs him quickly, tossing him over one, where he falls onto the floor on the other side of it.

There's a loud clang as Kenny loses his grip on the bar and it falls to the floor. He doesn't have time to pick it up as he quickly dodges Damien coming down hard and nearly landing on him. He manages to get back up and keep on running, but catches a glimpse of Damien picking up the dropped rebar as he does so.

He makes it out of another exit and tries to look for where to go next. He decides for the next closest building and heads for it. But something hits his ankle and he falls to the ground. He looks as to why and catches sight of the rebar now by his feet. He tries to get back up, but doesn't get the chance to, as Damien quickly rushes him and slams him back down onto his back with his full body weight.

"I've grown tired of this game," Damien says and picks up the rebar. He turns it around and a sharp point catches Kenny's eye. "Let's put an end to this, shall we?"

He goes to bring the end down to Kenny's chest, but Kenny grabs his arm and wrestles with him over it. He tries to push him off, twisting and turning to get out from under him. He manages to wiggle loose and puts more pressure to push Damien away. He tries to turn his body to the side with his hold and shove it away. It's enough of a small off-balance moment for him to escape the hold and wiggle free.

Damien goes to grab him as he gets up, grabbing onto the bottom of his sweater. Kenny tries to break free from it, twisting to try and pull it from his grasp. He's so preoccupied with doing that, that he doesn't notice the sudden sharp sting in his other side right away. But when he does, it hits hard. He quickly places a hand to it and feels something hard as he kneels over in pain. Searing hot pain shoots through him like a wildfire and his hand moves away as something warm and wet spreads across it. When he looks at it, it's covered in blood. He looks down his side as to why and finds the rebar now jutting out from him. He's shoved back down by Damien, who stands over him and looks down at him with disdain.

"No more running," he says and leans down, grabbing at the bar.

Kenny lets out a cry in agony as it's twisted deeper into his side. His insides being torn apart, bit-by-bit from it. Pressure and punctures dance against his organs erupting more cries from the back of his throat. The overwhelming pain of it all consuming him.

"Stop!" a voice calls out.

Craig's voice.

And Kenny looks at him. Somehow he knew that Craig didn't go far. That he couldn't bring himself to leave him. Yet he still hoped he would have.

"Craig…" he breathes out.

"L-let him go," Craig tells Damien.

"Oh?" Damien hums, intrigued, "And why would I do that?"

When Craig doesn't reply right away, Damien twists the bar in Kenny's side more.

"I'll go with you!" Craig quickly says and Damien stops. "If you let him go, I'll go with you. Willingly."

"Well it wouldn't make much of a difference if you do or not, because either way I'd still take you," Damien tells him.

"Then I'd just keep running away, even if you take me. I wouldn't go quietly and you'd have to constantly struggle with me all the time. But if you let him go, I'll go with you with no hassle at all. Wouldn't you like that more?"

Damien pauses to think about it.

"Tempting, but he'd still get in my way and others too if I don't," he replies.

Fear spreads from Craig to Kenny, as Craig watches blood pool around the bar and start to fall from Kenny's side onto the ground, as Damien digs it in further.

"If you don't let him go—then I'll die!" Craig says quickly. This prompts Damien to stop and look at him. "I'll make sure to find a way to kill myself, if you don't let him go. And you'll have done all this for nothing! You'll get nothing in the end! You'll… never get what you want from me. Ever."

Damien watches him for a good long while, before he stands back up.

"Well then, this is quite the predicament, isn't it?" he says, "But fine, we'll play it your way then, however," and his grip tightens around the metal bar, "I can't guarantee that he'll make it out of this alive."

And in one quick motion, he yanks the bar out from Kenny's side, causing Kenny to let out a loud guttural scream response.

"Kenny!" Craig screams and runs to him.

"Come now, let us leave," Damien says and grabs Craig by the arm.

"No! Kenny! Kenny!" Craig's voice pitches at the sight of blood slowly soaking into Kenny's sweater and the ground under him. He tugs out of Damien's grasp on him and kneels down next to him, leaning over and holding onto him.

"I said I would leave him be, like you asked, or would you rather I finish him off?" Damien asks.

"No, this isn't what I meant!" Craig says, shaking his head, his hold on Kenny tightening more in his arms.

"Craig…" Kenny breathes out, and touches his hand.

Craig takes it in his, tears falling from his eyes now as he lets out a small sniffle.

"Kenny…" he whimpers out.

"Alright, that's enough now," Damien interrupts and grabs Craig.

"No!" Craig struggles, trying to get out of his grasp, "Let me go!"

But Damien gets a good hold around his waist and tears him away from Kenny, lifting him up and tossing him over his shoulder.

"I'm tired of these games, we're leaving now," he says, apathetically.

"No!" Craig screams, his teary eyes falling back onto Kenny's figure. He reaches out a bloody hand to him, as if trying to reach him again, but only getting further and further away instead. He continues to struggle and cry out to him, even as he's carried away. Repeatedly calling out his name.

Kenny watches as the two start to fade from his view, unable to move from his wound and knowing that if he did, it would make it worse.

"Craig…" he slurs out, much too tired to speak now from blood loss.

All he can do is watch, as Damien carries Craig away. His head getting lighter and lighter, and everything becoming too obscured. He catches one last glimpse of Craig's tear filled face, before succumbing to darkness.
