Donna woke up to the light shining through the floor to ceiling windows, Harvey's arm draped across her waist. She still couldn't believe that she was actually here; that they were finally here. She closed her eyes, and let her thoughts drift back to everything he said the night before. She believed him when he said he wanted it all, but they hadn't had time to talk about what all really meant. How would their living situation change? Would he want to get married? Have more kids? She knew what he suggested last night –

Donna's thoughts were cut off by a string of little babbles coming from the baby monitor followed by a long Maaamaaaa!

Donna's eyes went wide. Harvey had told her about Rosie crying for her the night before, but she hadn't heard it herself yet.

Quietly slipping out of bed and grabbing a pair of Harvey's boxers and a sweatshirt, she made her way into the nursery, where she was greeted with a very excited Rosie who had pulled herself up on the railing of her crib, bouncing up and down.

Throwing her hands up in the air and toppling backwards, she let out another MAMAAA!" as Donna walked over and scooped her out of bed.

Tears in her eyes, she planted kisses all over the little girl's cheek, causing her to squirm around giggling. She was someone's mom.

"Good morning sweetheart," she said between kisses. "What do you say we get you changed and you help me make daddy breakfast?"

Harvey woke up and immediately noticed the empty space on the bed next to him. Shit, a familiar wave of panic swept over him as he tried to recall if he had dreamed up the whole thing.

His nerves were calmed immediately as he heard pots and pans in the kitchen, along with Donna's voice and Rosie's giggles.

Throwing on a shirt, he stepped out of the bedroom to witness what he was certain was about to be the best morning of his life.

Donna, dressed entirely in his clothes, hair thrown up in a messy ponytail, was mixing up pancake batter while Rosie sat in her high chair dancing happily to the record that Donna had put on for them.

As Harvey made his way to join his girls in the kitchen, he noticed that Rosie was devouring a plate of -

"Strawberries?! Donna how did you get her to –"

Before he could finish the question, Donna turned and squirted a hefty portion of whipped cream into his mouth.

Wide-eyed and trying to swallow the surprise, he grabbed at Donna who quickly scurried to the other side of the island.

"Oh no, you are so dead," he said as he pulled her in for a kiss, smearing the whipped cream on his face onto hers.

"Harvey!" she tried to escape his grasp as he gripped her butt, pressing her up against the counter, "we have an audience." She raised one eyebrow and tipped her head towards the little girl, who was laughing at the scene in front of her.

Placing another long whipped cream kiss on her lips, Harvey pulled back and walked over to Rosie, also covered in whipped cream.

Planting a big kiss on her forehead he whispered, "Mommy is in big trouble."

Donna rolled her eyes, but her heart burst into a million pieces hearing him call her mommy.

"Harvey," Donna asked cautiously as the 3 of them ate their breakfast, "Have you thought any more about telling your family about her?"

Harvey sighed, he knew he needed to; he had pushed Marcus off about cancelling his trip to Boston this weekend, but the thought of bringing his family into this was still overwhelming.

Donna grabbed his arm, "Harvey, they're her family too," she started, "and they are going to adore her. I know you're just starting to feel better about your relationship with your mom, but keeping this from her isn't going to help."

He nodded silently as she went on, "It could help with a fresh start."

Harvey knew she was right. "What if I invite her into the city to have dinner tomorrow?"

Donna smiled, giving his arm a squeeze, "I think that would be perfect, Harvey."

Stepping outside on the deck, Harvey took out his phone and started dialing her number.

She answered on the first ring, "Harvey! What a lovely surprise, is everything okay?"

"Hey Mom," he said, his lips curling into a smile, "Yeah, everything is great. Listen, I know its last minute, but I wanted to see if you wanted to come into the city for dinner tomorrow night."

"Oh Harvey, I would love that."

"Great, I'll get your train booked for you. I think we'll just eat at the condo, if that's okay with you?"

"Of course, Harvey, I'm just happy I'll get to see you," she paused, "but are you sure everything is okay?"

Harvey smiled, "Yeah, I just have a few people I'd like for you to meet."

He could hear his mom's smile on the other end of the line, "This wouldn't happen to have anything to do with a 'very special someone,' would it?"

Harvey turned to look at Donna and Rosie through the window, "Yeah," he smiled. "It would.

Note: Should be back to consistent updates now. I have so many things planned for these idiots, so I hope that you'll stick around to watch.
