"Well well what do we have here?"Lazerback asked inna mocking tone Snarl and Slash got into fighting poses while the Predacons approached them "I just noticed that a couple of preds are missing."Slash said pointing out Hun-Grrr and Serket's absence. "It's only going to take us to destroy you two, unfortunately I was hoping for the rest of the team to be here but I suppose we'll make do for now."Lazerback said glee "Enough talk get them!"Twinstrike shouted eager to tear into Snarl and Slash, Slash did a back flip dodging just in the nick of time of Twinstrike who slammed his hammer down on the ground with a boom making a small crater.

Snarl while holding twin swords parried attack after attack from Lazerback and his Predacon band, he elbowed Lazerback in the face knocking him away and gave Darksteel a kick in the sternum knocking him to the ground Windrazor came down from the sky holding his mace and brought it down hoping to bury it into Snarl's face but the dinobot blocked it but making his swords into an X then he knocked the mace out of his hands and decked him across the face knocking him away.

Then Blight roared and charged towards Snarl who rolled out of the way just as Blight brought his hammer down, Blight glared at Snarl then looked towards a large boulder next to him then he transformed into dragon mode and grabbed the boulder and lifted it above his head and then he threw it at him acting quickly Snarl dropped his swords and transformed into stegosaurus mode and with a bellow he swung his tail his thagomizer glowing with stored solar energy and he smashed the boulder into pieces and dust.

Meanwhile Slash was being approached by Twinstrike and Rippersnapper who grinned with sinister intent "You can't take us both Dinobot."Rippersnapper said mockingly Slash just sneered as she got into a fighting pose "keep thinking that."

Twinstrike was the first to attack as he swung at her but she easily blocked it and punched him in the throat making him stagger back "You..!"Rippersnapper roared as he tried to grab Slash but she grabbed his wrist and she backhanded him across the face and she kicked the back of his left leg dropping him on one knee and then she hit his shoulder blade with her elbow viciously multiple times.

Slash was taught how to handle opponents bigger and stronger than her although it was for decepticons she never thought in a million years she had to use her ninja moves on a Predacon, Slash heard a growl behind her and saw Twinstrike in dragon mode barreling towards her but she cartwheeled out of the way and Twinstrike knocked into Rippersnapper but he didn't care Twinstrike got up and growled at her then he changed at her then transformed to robot mode and then swung at her which was a massive mistake as Slash blocked his left arm and she hit Twinstrike under his arm and then she hit him in the shoulder joint hard making him cry out in pain as he held his arm and tried to move it but couldn't as as it felt numb.

"Argh I can't move my arm!"Twinstrike cried "Circuit board points, every Cybertronian has them including Predacons."Slash said as she was about to knock down Twinstrike, she didn't notice Rippersnapper getting up and charging towards her until it was to late before she could react Rippersnapper grabbed her by the throat and lifted her into the air.

"Try that garbage with me."he said menacingly as he began squeezing Snarl and Lazerback circled each other growling at each other, Snarl and a few dents and gashes on his body which was leaking a little bit of energon and Lazerback wasn't even better either as he had just as much as battle injuries. Lazerback swung his tail at Snarl who dodged and then Snal responded with a tail swiped of his own but he didn't miss the thagomizer embedded itself into Lazerback's left front leg shoulder blade making the Predacon roar in agony.

Snarl ripped the spikes out taking a small chunk out of Lazerback's shoulder blade, energon oozed out of the wound and Lazerback could barely stand, Lazerback growled in anger as the laser cannon on his back aimed at Snarl and began firing but Snarl dodged so Lazerback continued firing at Snarl who began running and jumping allover the place dodging laser fire. Snarl found that his dino mode wasa little agile despite being based on a big animal, Lazerback hit the ground and a few trees but couldn't seem to hit Snarl which began to enrage him more and more.

Snarl ran past Blight who was getting up and a laser shot struck him making him crash into some trees then he ran in front of Rippersnapper and a laser shot hit him making him fly away a few yards and crash into the ground "Hey watch where you're shooting that...Argh!"Twinstrike didn't finish as Slash proformed a flying kick hitting Twinstrike square in the face knocking him down.

Slash watched as Lazerback tried to hit Snarl and she saw Windrazor approaching the battle "Oh no you don't."Slash said as she transformed into Velociraptor mode and charged at Windrazor and pounced on him knocking him to the ground and then she dug a claw into his shoulder making him cry out in pain. Snarl ran in a big circle dodging Lazerback's laser fire, then he transformed into robot mode landing on the ground in a roll before getting on his feet and pulling out his scatter blaster and pointed it at Lazerback who transformed into robot mode himself and was about to pull out his tail flal but Snarl fire a shot into Lazerback's chest making him yelp in pain as he dropped his weapon and collapsed on the ground groaning in pain as energon poured from his blaster shot wounds.

Snarl groaned in pain as he looked around for any other opponents until he saw Darksteel in Ursagryph mode charging at him and then he pounded on Snarl knocking the blaster out of his hand and he tried to bite him but Snarl desperately held his beak back. Then Snarl pushed Darksteel away and tried to crawl for his gun but Darksteel bit into Snarl's leg making him cry out in pain then Darksteel dragged him away before taking flight.

Snarl watched as the ground and forest got further and further away as Darksteel began to take him higher and higher into the sky "Oh Scap!" Snarl exclaimed as Darksteel then tossed him into the air and then Snarl began falling towards the ground and Darksteel folded his wind and dived towards him.

Snarl watched as Darksteel got closer and so did the ground then he noticed Darksteel's neck began glowing orange which was an giant indicator that he was about to breathe fire Snarl began to desperately think of something it was then he saw that Darksteel was close enough within striking distance so he transformed into Stegosaurus mode and with the swing of his tail he struck Darksteel across the face making him screech and Snarl transformed again and grabbed Darksteel in a headlock and Darksteel opened his wings and started flying towards the tree tops. Snarl jerked his body causing Darksteel to loose control and they both crashed into the trees breaking branches and trunks and landed on the ground with a hard thud, both of them stirred in the ground, Snarl turned over and saw his sword and he began to crawl towards it.

Darksteel got up and glared at Snarl and with a roar he ran towards him Snarl desperately crawled towards the sword as Darksteel got closer and closer Darksteel then jumped into the air ready to pounce but then Snarl reached and grabbed his sword and brought it in front of him and Darksteel landed onto the blade which impaled him in the spark instantly killing him. Snarl watched as Darksteel's eyes faded to black and went limp and Snarl threw his body next to him. Windrazor groaned in pain as Slash got off him and ran towards Snarl, then he saw Darksteel's dead body and he immediately filled with dread and anger that one of their own was killed in battle a battle Shockwave and Hun-Grrr told them not to fight, " Ugh Darksteel,this is your fault."Windrazor said glaring at Lazerback who slowly sat up and saw Darksteel and he gritted his teeth.

Slash transformed into robot mode and kneeled next to him as she glanced at Darksteel "hey you killed one,point one to the Dinobots."Slash said with excitement, Snarl groaned as he slowly sat up "Yeah one down seven to go."Snarl said as he got up with Slash's assistance and they began to limp away a Lazerback sneered at Snarl and he pulled the laser cannon off his back and aimed it at Snarl's back "Die Dinobot."Lazerback growled with hatred and he fired with the laser hitting Snarl in the back making him cry out in agony as he held his back. Rippersnapper charged towards Snarl but not before pulling his sword out of Darksteel's body and then Snarl turned around just in time to see Rippersnapper plunge the sword into his abdomen making Snarl groan in pain "Snarl!"Slash cried in anguish as Rippersnapper tossed Snarl aside as the energon from his wound poured out.

Slash tried to go to Snarl but Blight put her into a bearhug as the predacon surrounded Snarl "let's finish him."Twinstrike said wanting Snarl to pay for killing Darksteel "no,Shockwave and Hun-Grrr are probably at base and wondering where we are."Windrazor said "he's going to be mad when he finds out about Darksteel."Rippersnapper said fearing the wrath of Hun-Grr "Perhaps if we bring back a prisoner he'll be more forgiving."Windrazor said glaring at Slash who struggled in Blight's grip then the predacons left leaving Snarl alone. Snarl groaned as he looked at the sword in his stomach as he saw the energon leaking out he knew that a battle wound like this is 100% fatal if not treated immediately, using the last bit of strength he has left he lifted an arm and pressed his comlink "Ugh...uuhh...Dino...bots...n...need...assistance."Snarl spoke very weakly he could hardly get words out but hopefully the Dinobots could hear him.

Meanwhile

The Dinobots were discussing the plan on how to deal with the predacons which was a pretty sound plan until they heard Snarl's weak voice through the comlinks "Need...assistance...immediately." "Snarl...Snarl What happened are you ok?!"Slug asked with alarm nothing was heard and the Dinobots stood around concerned for their teammate Swoop looked at the screen on his forearm which was able to show Snarl's location and his vital signs "I have his location,and his vital signs they're dropping."Swoop said with concern "Lead us."Grimlock said as Swoop transformed into Pterannodon mode and took flight with the Dinobots following him.

Meanwhile at the shore

Waves crashed against the rocks and sand of the beach of the coast Paddles in Elasmosaurus mode swam towards shallow waters and he transformed into robot mode and walked the rest of the way, the various fish swam away from Paddles as he walk further up the shallows until he found himself rising from the water as he laid optics on the beach and the forest ahead. Paddles stepped on the beach with the water dripping off his body "I made it."Paddles said proudly as he looked back at the ocean and remembered what his sonar detected Paddles still wondered what that was but it's a mystery for another day right now he had to find his team Paddled was about to venture into the forest until he heard Snarl's voice "need...assistance...immediately."

Paddles immediately recognized the voice to be Snarl and he noticed how weak and pained he sounded which told Paddles that Snarl was gravely injured,wasting no time Paddles ran into the forest.
