Checkered Flag Challenge Overload!

It was an early dawn in Sugar World, and Vanellope and Crumbelina are sleeping quietly and peacefully in Diet Cola Mountain. Vanellope was able to at least recover from the harassment Jackson, Norton and dAMagEd_gOodZ inflicted against her, but she knows the memories of being a glitch haunts her, but everyone has made sure to keep her safe and not become what she was previously infamous for. As the arcade opens and Arthur came first after coming home from school, he sat on Seat #1 and inserts his quarter and pulls out his Tobi-Save Card. Other kids who have registered for the World Championship also followed suit.

Announcer: "QUARTER ALERT! QUARTER ALERT! QUARTER ALERT!"

Vanellope and Crumbelina: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

Vanellope and Crumbelina JUMPED off the bed, shocked from the loud sounding alarm, crashing their heads to the ceiling.

Vanellope: "OUCH! Oh dear SUGAR, Crumby we gotta go!"

Crumbelina: "VANNY Why did you install such a LOUD ALARM?!"

Vanellope and Crumbelina rushed into the Magic preparation room and ran wildly to the Fresh Mint Cruiser and the Tira Missile karts. In the Arcade, Arthur confirms to race with Vanellope, followed by other players choosing their respective racers. It's the Second Race Trials, and today, the top 6 winners will be invited to an advancing competition.

Vanellope: "Oh? (Jumps in excitement) Ha-HAAA!"

Mr. Dennis: "Alright it's time for the Second Race Trials. Racers, be sure to reach the finish line First, and the Top 6 fastest winners will be invited to a Surprise Competition!"

As the time goes by, the Top 36 fastest time winners have been revealed, and it turns ou Arthur is the 4th fastest. A few minutes later…

Mr. Dennis: "Alright everyone, with the Race Trials ended with our top 36 fastest time winners, the Top 6 are now invited to a Special Competition! Allow me to introduce everyone to the Top 6 Winners to fight for this Special Battle to the Limit! First we have new record holder Isaac Hughes with his speedy hot pink racer Taffyta Muttonfudge!"

Isaac waves to the crowd as he inserts his next quarter, taps his Tobi-Save card and confirms Taffyta to race with him.

Taffyta: "(Brushes her hair with one hand and pumps her other one up, carrying a LolliPop.)"

Mr. Hernandez: "Next we have now emerging second fastest, Molly McQueen with her Sophisticated Posh Tart girl Crumbelina Di-Caramello!"

Crumbelina: "(Twirls, bows, and pumps her right fist up, smiling)"

Mr. Dennis: "Hold your seatbelts tight because our Third fastest winner of this week, you know her, Nafisa Ferguson will Blow the competition with the Cheery-Cherry-Bombasti-Girl Jubileena Bing-Bing!"

Nafisa: "(Does a twirl jump and bows elegantly) Oh yeah!"

Jubileena: "(Jumps and points both fore-fingers up) Ha!"

Mr. Bernard: "Watch out everyone, because we got a Newcomer, the name's Arthur, having gone through a rough time but found paradise in Sugar Rush, he'll be rolling with, The one, AND ONLY, PRINCESS VANELLOPE VON SCHWEETZ! (Unaware that the Litwak's Vanellope was NOT a Princess but just backed out from the Presidential campaign)"

Arthur waves his hands to the crowd, well, nervously.

Vanellope: "Oh? (Jumps in excitement) Ha-HAAA!"

Mr. Dennis: "Uh-Oh, looks like the competition is going to be Really Frozen, Chill away for Nancy Watterson because she's looking forward to win with Adorabeezle Winterpop!"

Nancy pumps her right fist up, high spirits the people say for a young girl her age.

Adorabeezle: "(Makes a Roundhouse Kick and points her right hand's forefinger up)"

Mr. Bernard: "And last but not least is a Young boy from Taipei, he's a Sugar Rush Prodigy and he has moved here for Overseas Studies, but today he'll be competing with Torvald Batterbutter! Declare your Warm welcomes to Tengfei Jiao-Long!"

A Taiwanese boy is seen amongst the racers. He's a nerdy bookworm type of student who's a little bit younger than Nancy took his seat on Seat #6 and picks Torvald as his racer. This is Tengfei.

Torvald: "(Picks up a confetti launcher, pops it and sprinkles pop out of the launcher) Let's Go!"

Stan Litwak: "This is going to be one interesting race, don't you think, guys?"

The rest of the employees agreed.

To recap, Sugar Rush Superspeedway has 20 tracks:

There are the first 5 easy tracks mostly catered to beginners and/or speed based players: Sugar Speed Ring, Sweet Ride Circuit, Cakeway Town, Chocolate Coast and Diet Cola Mountain.

The 6th-10th normal tracks after the easy ones are for players who have basic experience: Candy Cane Forest, Caramel Abyss, Nougat Underground, Ice Cream Boulevard and Pumpkin Trench.

After the 10 relatively easy tracks came the 11th-15th hard tracks for advanced challenges: Frosty Heights, Soft Swerve Canyon, Lemonade Beach, Cereal Caves and Snow Cone District.

And finally, the last 5 Extreme tracks only for the Top Link Elite racers: Lollipop Battlefield, Sugar Dragon's Temple, Sugar City Highway, Cotton Candy Babylon and Royal Raceway.

Molly: "Well Arthur, this is going to be a Blast! It's your first taste of Intense Prize Chasing battle!"

Arthur: "Of course! This is gonna be great, i won't go easy on you Molly, not even on y'all others!"

Mr. Bernard: "And for today's Special occasion, We are giving out a Big Prize for the winner, a Super Mega Large Mammoth Sized Checkered Flag Tomato-Sauce'n Cheese Pizza, Courtesy of the Newly opened Starlight Pizza Palace restaurant Next to the arcade!"

The players saw what the prize is, and were so excited, ESPECIALLY Nancy, a Mega-Sized Pizza that has a pattern of a Red and Yellow Checkered Flag, the red being represented by Pepperoni and Tomato sauce, while the white is represented by the cheese. And as the players have confirmed their respective racers, the track they chose is Sugar Dragon's Temple, and they chose Casual Mode for the race. Waiting for the loading screen, the chosen racers' karts are set at the Starting/Finish Line of Sugar Dragon's Temple.

The Starting/Finish Line and the main straight are decorated with the grandstands and lots of ancient Japanese Red'n Black temple buildings. Taffyta, Crumbelina, Jubileena, Vanellope, Adorabeezle and Torvald are now at the Starting/Finish Line. In front of the 6 player assigned racers are Rancis, Snowanna, Gloyd and Swizzle.

Torvald: "First time racing here, eh, Van?"

Vanellope: "Y, yeah, I neverraced here before."

Taffyta: "If you believe Candlehead, she went on this track like 13 times."

Swizzle: "Man and I wish Sticky was here."

Torvald: "Ugh, typical Swizzle, always thinking about big sister Sticky."

Snowanna: "Tell me about it! At least Minty is fine with her sister being with Swizzle most of the time."

Rancis: "Come on, Swizz, You and Sticky had been dating here quite a lot ever since the game was plugged in, you guys gotta cool it down."

Arthur: "I've never been here before."

Molly: "Well, I've been here about 6 times at best."

Nancy: "Are you guys excited to win the Pizza, because you know I AM!"

Arthur: "Oh, just you wait, Nancy, I'll win that Pizza for sure!"

Arthur was unfamiliar with the place. When he first heard of Sugar Rush, he thought it's just going to be just another Candyland with Overglorified Speed Racing and that's it. But ever since he raced at Sugar City Highway, overtime he begins to have weird doubts over Sugar Rush as a whole. But he was startled as the Countdown is about to begin.

Mr. Bernard: "Alright, it's time for the race to begin, all players are now comfortably seated, the map has been showcased to all of you the crowd, you can see the cinematic screen on top of the racing cabinets and this will be the greatest race for the Checkered Flag Ultra Pizza! Sugar Rush Anouncer, you may start the countdown!"

Announcer: "Are you ready? 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! START!"

The 6 players then start accelerating as the race begins. As usual, the track begins with a long straight, still decorated with towering temples, and also an underpass section where the track is underneath the railway where the Sugar Rush Fas-Trains run on. The track goes to the first long left turn after the straight. The track ascends to a bridge over the railway where Arthur and Vanellope took the lead and drifted left as 2 trains flew by. Nancy and Adorabeezle are hanging at 6th place, waiting for an opportunity.

As the track went to a short ascending straight, entering a giant temple with a Chinese Dragon statue, Isaac and Taffyta are behind Arthur and Vanellope in 2nd place.

Arthur: "Looks like you're aiming for that Pizza."

Isaac: "Well, you got a problem with that?"

Arthur: "Oh, well that one's surely going to be mine!"

Mr. Dennis: "Arthur and Isaac are in the lead, battling for first place, but behind them are Molly and Nafisa. And what's this, Arthur and Isaac got themselves Power-Ups!"

Arthur and Isaac got Sugar Cubes, and without further ado, Vanellope and Taffyta sped away from the pack. Meanwhile, Molly and Nafisa are still battling for 3rd place. Nafisa got an Ice Cream cannon, and waiting for the right time, as Molly and Crumbelina sped away leaving Nafisa and Jubileena…

Jubileena: "Hey Crumbelina, EAT THIS!"

Nafisa and Jubileena shot the ice cream and…

Crumbelina: "OUCH!"

Nafisa: "Comin' through!"

Nafisa is now in 3rd place behind Arthur and Isaac. Meanwhile, Molly resets and she and Crumbelina are now behind Nancy and Adorabeezle who are now catching up to Arthur, Isaac and Nafisa as the track exits the temple and into a Right descending Helix into the tunnels of Candy Cane Caves.

Mr. Bernard: "So far, Nancy is in 4th place but no other racer is making any big move."

Nancy: "Come on, out of my way!"

After the helix, the track goes to a gentle right turn and on the sight of the track is a diet soda lake like in Diet Cola Mountain despite the place not being a Volcano. Drifting along the curve, Molly keeps blocking Tengfei, preventing Torvald from overtaking Crumbelina.

Molly: "You're gonna have to try harder if you wanna pass me."

Tengfei said nothing as he kept focusing on her and the track. Meanwhile at the front of the pack, Isaac and Taffyta just overtook Arthur and Vanellope while picking up a Power-Up which is a Candy Wrapper shield, although not as strong as Minty Zaki's Candy Wrapper Shield. However, as all the racers are approaching a descending straight, after the last 4 racers exited the soda lake, that soda lake somehow EXPLODED!

Mr. Bernard: "Was that what I think it is?"

Mr. Dennis: "Hold on tight because there's a FLOODING DIE COLA BEHIND THE RACERS!"

Arthur: "HEEEERRRGH?!"

Isaac: "WHHAAAAAATT?!"

The racers are now being chased by a Diet Cola wave behind them, but then one of them went into a smaller tunnel, leaving only 9 racers on the main track! Meanwhile, Molly's racer's superpower bar is full, and so were Arthur's, Nancy's, Nafisa's and Isaac's!

Announcer: "LINEARITY MISSILE!"

Molly activates Crumbelina's Linearity Missile Skill, catching up to Arthur, Nafisa and Isaac!

Jubileena and Taffyta: "Uh-oh!"

Arthur: "Molly, I'm not letting you win that pizza! (Activates Vanellope's Sugar Nitro Skill)"

Vanellope: "(Glows in Light Blue and picking up speed) WHOOOAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

Isaac: "Hey, get back here! (Activates Taffyta's Taffy Slingshot!)"

Taffyta gets shot forward, now matching the speed with Vanellope and Crumbelina while Jubileena and Adorabeezle are now battling for 4th place with Rancis, Swizzle, Gloyd and Snowanna right behind them and the wave closing in on them, but that leaves one question, and that's where Tengfei and Torvald are.

Nancy: "And where do you think YOU'RE going? (Referring to Rancis, Gloyd, Swizzle and Snowanna, and then activates Adorabeezle's skill.)"

Announcer: "FREEZE FORCE FIELD!"

Rancis, Gloyd, Swizzleand Snowanna: "Aaaagg…. (Frozen)"

Mr. Hernandez: "Nancy just froze the four opponent racers and OH NO; they are CAUGHT in the wave!"

Mr. Bernard: "And our finalists are coming out of the tunnel fast! Sucks to be Rancis, Gloyd, Swizzle and Snowanna for this race huh?"

Arthur, Isaac, Molly, Nafisa and Nancy then exit the cave with the wave crashing forward wile the 5 players and their racers drifted through a Right slalom and drove over a bridge with another Diet Cola lake only under the bridge, but then, as they left the bridge into a Left Helix…

Torvald: "OUT OF MY WAY!"

Tengfei and Torvald drove out from nowhere and overtook Molly, Crumbelina, Nafisa, Jubileena, Nancy and Adorabeezle!

Molly: "NO WAY, where'd he come from?!"

Mr. Hernandez: "Bernard and Dennis did you see? Tengfei seemed to have overtaken most of the pack and he is now going against Arthur and Isaac for first place! Today's race sure is interesting!"

Mr. Bernard: "Maybe I spoke too soon, and it's a Surprise because Tengfei is younger than Nancy and he's not even sweating or even nervous! Something tells me he's bringing in the Big Thrills!"

Tengfei smirked, and Arthur was now getting nervous as he is behind Isaac and Taffyta, while in front of Tengfei and Torvald. After the curve where an unknown track merges, the track leads to another temple with the Sugar Dragon statue, where Torvald picked up a Candy Wrapper Shield, and speaking of the shield, Isaac and Taffyta still kept theirs. Inside this second temple are bleachers where people are watching the race. And because all the other games are closed for the event, the other characters from the other games are also watching the race. Ralph, Felix and the Nicelanders are at the temple.

Ralph: "Racing for a Pizza huh?"

Felix: "Oh yes they do, Ralph."

Mary: "Still, that Mammoth Checkered Flag Pizza sure is tasty for the winner."

Deanna: "I think we should replicate that for tonight, don't we, Mary and Lucy?"

Lucy: "Deanna, you wouldn't…"

Deanna: "Oh yes I would!"

Meg: "Well, what do you think, ladies?"

Nel: "Great idea, Deanna, let's do that tonight!"

Gene: "Really? Making a giant Pizza for those little brats? How come we didn't get to eat them?"

Norwood: "Come on now, Mr. Mayor, we'll get ours too."

Other Nicelanders: "(Nonsensical arguing)"

Exiting the temple has the track turn right, where Arthur overtook his opponents to First Place. Arthur and Vanellope got themselves a power-up and it's Sprinkle Spikes, not as big as Torvald's though, but Tengfei doesn't seem to use Torvald's skill and uses his driving wits just to stay in the front lines. The track leads back to the main straight, where Isaac, Taffyta, Nancy and Adorabeezle drove next to Arthur and Vanellope. Advancing to Lap Two has Nancy and Arthur at each other.

Isaac: "Whoa, these two kids have this in the bag, but I won't lose to them!"

Mr. Dennis: "Arthur, Isaac and Nancy are in the front lines battling for first place, and they're not even breaking a single sweat!"

Mr. Bernard: "And as they traverse through the track, the other racers are still having a tough time against one another!"

In the long left turn to the ascending straight leading to the first temple, Nafisa and Jubileena butt in to the lead, and then they pull off something tricky.

Nafisa: "Hey you!"

This caught Arthur, Isaac and Nancy off guard when Nafisa suddenly activates Jubileena's fully charged skill.

Jubileena: "EAT CHERRY BOMBS, BRATS!"

Five Twin Cherry Bombs are thrown at the three racers, blowing them out, allowing Jubileena to pass them, followed by Molly and Crumbelina behind Nafisa and Jubileena. As Arthur, Vanellope, Isaac, Taffyta, Nancy and Adorabeezle reset, they are already behind the two, but Tengfei and Torvald came in closing on them from behind. Entering the cave again, with the same explosion, Arthur and Nancy observed if there IS a shortcut like what Tengfei took, and by a near-miss margin, they found it, and they took the tunnel with Tengfei following them.

Exiting the tunnels, Arthur, Vanellope, Nancy, Adorabeezle, Tengfei and Torvald are now directly behind Nafisa, Jubileena, Molly and Crumbelina. So far to Lap 3, no highlight as all the players kept their positions intact, didn't pick up any Power-Ups, and did not even use any Superpower. However, Nafisa and Jubileena only took notice to Nancy and Adorabeezle as the pack drove along the main straight to the long left turn. Nafisa thought Nancy is going to have Adorabeezle crash into Jubileena, or so she thought.

Nafisa: "*Sigh* It's the last lap, no much track left, I cannot risk any crashes or Power-Up intervention otherwise I won't be able to recover."

Nafisa and Jubileena swerved away from Nancy and Adorabeezle, unknowingly letting the latter two pass them, also with Arthur and Vanellope following the two.

Nancy: "Oh? Hahaha! See y'all at the Finish line, I'll be thinking of you when I'm eating that Mammoth Pizza in the Winner's Circle!"

Mr. Bernard: "What a display of speed, don't you think? Nancy just overtook Nafisa who somehow made way for the former, but this also means Arthur and Nancy are now Head to Head! Meanwhile the other racers are still battling for Third Place to attempt to overtake the two! However, we are ALREADY in the Final Lap of this competition, and with more parts of the track, we still have no clear idea of who's going to take home the DELICIOUS PRIZE!"

Arthur: "Alright, here goes nothing…."

However, upon entering the cave, Arthur and Vanellope accelerated and swerved onto the inside, overtaking Nancy and Adorabeezle.

Mr. Dennis: "But what's this?! Arthur just overtook Nancy through the inside without even slowing down! He's learned a lot over several weeks, and no sign of stopping, because he really wants to win, and when you put your mind into the goal, kids, you will triumph in the end like these amazing winners, but it also seems that the others are holding back while battling each other!"

Arthur and Nancy then reached the descending cola chase section.

Nancy: "This is my shot to take back the lead, YEAH, I'M WINNING THIS!"

Mr. Hernandez: "Now to the straight stretches and Speed is the key in these parts of race tracks, but with curves and other track elements, speed doesn't guarantee an automatic win, and as displayed by Arthur and Nancy's racers, Vanellope and Adorabeezle, the faster the racer is, the tougher they are to control, but because Vanellope is beginner friendly she's the easiest of the Speed Type, and it's clear why as Arthur manages to get to the shortcut without sweat, and look at this, Nancy also follows suit!"

Arthur and Nancy went into the shortcut again, and this time, Isaac and his racer Taffyta also follows suit, but so did Molly, Crumbelina, Nafisa, Jubileena, Tengfei and Torvald!

Vanellope: "You're not gonna pass me, Adora!"

Adorabeezle: "Don't underestimate me yet, Van!"

Taffyta: "Oh yeah, I'm gonna be on top today, not any of you!"

Jubileena: "Classic Taffyta, really classic!"

As all the racers exit the shortcut and jumped into the track that leads to the second temple however, Arthur swerves left and right to block Nancy who tries to overtake him.

Mr. Bernard: "Watch out everyone, Arthur is blocking Nancy in an attempt to hold his pole position, but it's starting to lose the effect!"

Nancy then went into the outside and finally overtook Arthur!

Mr. Dennis: "She's done it, Nancy is now in the lead and the track is about to conclude, just the right turn to the main straight! And this could be it, everyone!"

Nancy: "Hahahaha! See, I told you I'm gonna win this race!"

Nafisa: "NOOO! Anyone but HER!"

Arthur: "Man I shouldn't have focused too much on her."

Isaac: "This is my chance to overtake Arthur now!"

Isaac and Taffyta overtook Arthur and Vanellope now in 2nd place, and the others are still holding their positions, and surprisingly, Tengfei and Torvald are in 6th place, and with Rancis, Gloyd, Swizzle and Snowanna far behind, there's no way for them to catch up to Tngfei now.

Mr. Bernard: "It's the final right turn, and all the racers are stuck in their current positions, however Isaac managed to get into second place, Nafisa and Molly are in 4th and 5th place, and Tengfei is somehow behind all five in 6th place, but you will never know that in a race and with plenty of length before the finish line, strange things can and will happen!"

Nancy: "Hahaha, Just a little more distance to the finish line, Adorabeezle, and that Giant Mammoth Pizza is as good as OURS!"

Now it's the final stretch to the finish line, and Nancy, Isaac and Arthur are in the front, about to finish the race, and just as Arthur, Isaac, Nafisa and Molly are catching up to Nancy and are closing in on her, she ACTIVATES Adorabeezle's Skill, Freeze Force Field!

Announcer: "FREEZE FORCE FIELD!"

With that, Vanellope, Taffyta, Jubileena and Crumbelina are frozen and slowing down!

Mr. Dennis: "Nancy just pulled off Adorabeezle's freezing superpower, and it's already clear that Nancy will win this race, but OH NO, Tengfei is doing something drastic!"

And Mr. Dennis is right, as Tengfei starts to sverve and drift like crazy, and for some reason, Torvald is getting faster and faster, and to EVERYONE's surprise…

Tengfei: "FLASH DRAGON!"

Tengfei had PULLED a Driver Specific Technique, Flash Dragon, where he steers Torvald drifting sideways, picking up speed, overtaking Arthur, Vanellope, Isaac, Taffyta, Nafisa, Jubileena, Molly and Crumbelina, and now approaching Nancy and Adorabeezle!

Arthur, Isaac, Molly and Nafisa: "NO WAY WHERE DID HE COME FROM!"

Tengfei only smirked!

Nancy: "What?!"

Torvald: "Hey Freeze Girl, this win is mine!"

Adorabeezle: "NO YOU WON'T!"

Arthur, Vanellope, Isaac, Taffyta, Nafisa, Jubileena, Molly and Crumbelina just got recovered and had to catch up to Nancy and Tengfei if they want to win! And thus, Arthur activates Vanellope's Sugar Nitro, Isaac activates Taffyta's Taffy Slingshot and Molly activates Crumbelina's Linearity-Missile, leaving Nafisa and Jubileena behind because she doesn't have a Sugar Boost Cube Power-Up in her disposal!

Announcer: "LINEARITY MISSILE! TAFFY SLINGSHOT! SUGAR NITRO!"

Vanellope: "(Glows in Light Blue and picking up speed) WHOOOAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

Mr. Bernard: "Oh no, looks like Five out of six players are going insane, and Tengfei is still doing his insane driving technique closing the gap of him and Nancy and this will not end well!"

Nancy: "Oh no, what's up with this kid? He's driving like crazy and I gotta do something!"

Tengfei is approaching Nancy but he also notices the three speeding racers behind him, and then he did something that causes Torvald to spin around while she's still going forward! Then a whirlwind is formed surrounding Torvald!

Arthur, Isaac and Molly: "WHAT THE HELL KIND OF MADNESS IS THAT?!"

Tengfei: "DRAGON HURRICANE!"

Arthur, Isaac, Molly and Nancy: "ARGH NO!"

Tengfei pulled out an Awesme whirlwind called the Dragon Hurricane, prompting Nancy and Adorabeezle to try and avoid the former two and not getting sucked into the whirlwind, but also causes Arthur, Vanellope, Isaac, Taffyta, Molly and Crumbelina to back out!

Crumbelina: "WHAT THE, Torvald how did you?!"

Torvald: "Sorry Crumbs, but Tengfei and I are gonna win!"

Mr. Hernandez: "And with that crazy stunt Tengfei is now in first place!"

And without sweat, Tengfei regained control with Torvald and is just yards away to the finish line!

Tengfei: "Hahahahaha!"

And with no shadow of a doubt, Torvald crossed the finish line FIRST, fllowed by Adorabeezle in Second and Taffyta in Third with Vanellope in 4th, Crumbelina in 5th and Jubileena in 6th!

Mr. Bernard: "AND TENGFEI WON THE CHECKERED FLAG MAMMOTH PIZZA RACE, AND IT'S ALL THANKS TO WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN A RECKLESS MOVE YET HE PULLED IT OFF WITHOUT A SWEAT!"

Everyone cheered for Tengfei's victory, and of course, the Sugar Rush racers praise and congratulate Torvald's victory.

Vanellope: "Congrats, Torvald!"

Taffyta: "Way to go! You really ROCK!"

Adorabeezle: "Couldn't have said it myself!"

Torvald: "Aww, Thanks!"

And because Arthur, Molly, Nafisa, Isaac and Nancy lost, they had to quit the race, and with that, they chose No in the continue screen, saving their Data, thus rendering Tengfei the only person playing the game, and as he picked Time Attack at Sugar Speed Ring, the crowd cheer for him, and with no surprise, he got 1st on Sugar Speed Ring's time record. After Tengfei finishes his game and quits to save his data, it's time for the ceremony.

Stan Litwak: "And with that, here's Mr. Tobias Wisconsin or Toby to present our champion his trophy!"

A man named Mr. Tobias "Toby" Wisconsin approaches Tengfei in the winner's circle, surrounded by cheering fans inside the arcade, handing Tengfei the trophy. Arthur and Nancy were awestruck by Tengfei's amazing exploit at the last second. Tengfei happily waves to everyone, while Isaac, Molly and Nafisa walked away sulking and even Jackson and Norton were baffled, and cross, that they didn't get to the finals and just got humiliated by a young boy from Taiwan they didn't know.

Stan Litwak: "And Tengfei, don't forget to collect your prize Pizza after the ceremony, and as for everyone else, all the other games are back open."

At Sugar World…

Arle: "Guys, quick, get back to al your games!"

Amitie: "The Arcade's Re-Open after this race!"

Felix: "Come on, people, Move it!"

Ralph: "These kids better get better am I right guys?"

Back at the arcade…

Isaac: "Well, I'll be playing Puyo Puyo over there, since lots of kids rushed into Sugar Rush."

Molly: "Yeah, me too, because honestly you and I have unfinished business."

Nafisa: "You seriously gonna leave me like that, no way! I'm gonna humiliate you both!"

Isaac: "Oh really? Are you that good at Puyo Puyo?"

Swati: "She is, and I'm backing her in this one!"

Molly: "Swati, since when did you…"

Swati: "I was amongst the crowd, don't you remember?"

Arthur and Nancy are left alone, and Tengfei approaches them.

Tengfei: "That was an awesome race, you two!"

Arthur: "You can say that again, uh…"

Tengfei: "Tengfei Jiaolong, that's my name, and I wanna win the Sugar Rush World Championship."

Nancy: "Same goes for me too. You must be lucky to have that Mammoth Pizza…"

Tengfei: "I also won a Year worth of Coupons for Free Pizzas as a result of the win. But, seeing you guys managed to put up a fight, I oughta share some to you."

Arthur: "Wait, are you sure?"

Tengfei: "The prize Pizza is an Extra Large pizza with 12 slices, so we can have 4 slices each."

Nancy: "Sure, that's a good idea. And I'm hungry anyway."

Arthur, Nancy and Tengfei went to the food court to eat the pizza. However, they have no idea that Jackson and Norton are eyeing on them. And if you look closely to their eyes, it means one thing. Jackson and Norton are on to Tengfei. Knowing that lately, Slaughter Race players are going hard on them in battle, Tengfei is now considered their next battle target, and it also means Tengfei's unusual skill poses… as a THREAT. On that evening, Jackson and Norton are with Swati and Nafisa eating noodles. Swati and Nafisa are curious about Jackson and Norton's face expression.

Jackson: "You've got to be kidding me, that kid Tengfei pulled something stupid off, like what that Isaac guy did in the first race trial?"

Norton: "First we didn't make it to the top 6 of today's race and then he HAD THE GUTS to pull it off, you're right, Jackson, he is just extremely filthy!"

Molly: "You two should calm down. Tengfei is a notorious racer from Taipei and he is NOT to underestimate! I've heard about his records in Sugar Rush Blogs, and like you, I never knew how players can pull of insane tricks like that. As far as I know, there is NO SUCH thing as a Player Initiated skill in the original game. Sally can account to that."

Swati: "Now now, Molly, I know you're angered with Tengfei's victory, but you must calm down, and also, didn't Nancy and Isaac also finish in the Top 3?"

Molly: "Indeed and I'm sure things will turn out fine."

Jackson: "Come on, Molly, and how would you react if HEATHER was defeated by Tengfei?"

Molly: "Not sure, since she wasn't around, why do you ask?"

Jackson: "Because she told me no matter the racing game, don't let your guard down."

Norton: "And I don't think we should if we want to race Tengfei."

Nafisa: "You two seriously wanna race him?"

Jackson: "Yes. I want to see what this guy's capable of doing!"

Swati: "Well, you might have to finish your lunches and get to him while he's still around."

So Jackson and Norton quickly ate their meals, drank their tea beverages and ran off to see Tengfei who's still eating Pizza with Arthur and Nancy.

Arthur: "This Prized Pizza sure tastes like Victory, even though I came 4th."

Tengfei: "Don't beat yourself up, um, Arthur, right?"

Arthur: "Yup, that's me."

Tengfei: "Right, and besides, I'm sure you can pull off a Dragon Hurricane like I do. And if you want, I can teach you two right away after lunch!"

Nancy: "Really, you will?!"

Tengfei: "Of course, and no, this is NOT sarcasm, even though I know what that is."

Arthur: "Man, and I thought you were lucky."

Tengfei: "Well, Luck maybe part of racing, true, but what matters is your own skills. And if you want to know a secret, I know that the original Sugar Rush doesn't implement Player Specific Skill moves, so the developers managed to implement them in the second game, and I've learned that from my big sisters Chen and Huifang Jiaolong who has this book called the Sugar Rush Super Speedway Manual where she learns many of the Player Initiated Skill moves, and she taught me the Dragon Hurricane."

Just as Arthur, Nancy and Tengfei finished their Pizza…

Jackson: "HEY YOU!"

Arthur: "Oh boy, not these two."

Tengfei: "Hey, what's up?"

Jackson: "Yeah, you, young boy, we need to talk."

Tengfei: "Oh yeah, spit it out you two, and WATCH your manners!"

Norton: "Well, we wanna race you, and I ain't taking no for an answer. So, what's it gonna be, SHRIMP?"

Arthur: "Oh yeah, another race, I'm in!"

Nancy: "So am i!"

Tengfei: "Hmph, don't make me laugh, you didn't think I wouldn't recognize you, Jackson Madison and Norton Boswell?"

Jackson: "Wh-How did you…"

Tengfei: "Heather's brother right? Don't play shock with me, Everyone knows your sister, and My condolences for her but she's Infamous for being reckless, don't tell me you're following her footsteps here because whenever I saw you two rolling with Minty Zaki and Citrusella Flugpucker, you're just putting them in Danger!"

Norton: "Oh, Puh-LEASE, They're game characters, they respawn ALL THE TIME because they're like Immortal Gods or something, I don't know!"

Tengfei: "That maybe true but they're still flawed like this blasted world's livelihood, and I'm setting my goal to come out on top and beat Heather!"

Jackson: "Oh, trying to overthrow the dead, Never I say, and Norton and I are gonna besmirch that stupid smirk off of your face!"

Nancy: "You three BEHAVE yourselves! Just get on to the cabinets and Race already, I've been getting impatient to see what Tengfei is capable of doing anyway!"

Norton: "SHUT UP you little Brat! And as for YOU, Eastern Swine, something AIN'T right when you pulled off that dirty trick in the final stretch of the last track you raced on, and We ain't gonna let a Phony like YOU beat us! So what do you say?"

Molly: "Great idea, if he can pull that hurricane off without Snowanna but with another racer, then it's NO PROBLEM that I join in on this next race!"

The commotion grabbed everybody's attention, and it's getting tense, and there's no denying it too, because Sugar Rush Super Speedway just happens to be Vacant right now.

Tengfei: "Molly McQueen, don't tell me you're jealous that you didn't know better about the game you've always been playing on since your first race at Las Vegas!"

Norton: "You've got to be kidding me, First there's that Glitch…"

Tengfei: "(Snaps angrily) PRINCESS VANELLOPE, you dare to speak ILL of her and I'll make Minced Meat outta your EGOS!"

Jackson: "Whatever, and NOW You, This Better be good!"

Arthur, Nancy and Tengfei: "Of course it will!"

Tengfei: "And if you two foreigners want to race me to get humiliated, I'M READY!"

Jackson, Norton and Molly: "YOU'RE ON, LET'S DO THIS!"

The 6 kids marched on to Sugar Rush Super Speedway for Jackson and Norton to take Tengfei on, UNDER THEIR TERMS. Back in the game though, Vanellope is having some thoughts.

Vanellope: "I'm really confused lately."

Torvald: "About what?"

Vanellope: "Does this game really allow players to use their own tricks?"

Adorabeezle: "I'm certain they are allowed now, I mean, didn't you hear about the Instruction manual Tengfei told Arthur and Nancy about?"

Torvald: "You even performed the Sideway Overtake with Taffyta in the first Race Trial."

Vanellope: "I guess so, but…"

Citrusella: "But what?"

Vanellope: "Doesn't it feel strange to anyone that there's a possibility one of these player tricks replicate a racer's existing skill?"

Snowanna: "You mean Dragon Hurricane with my Loudspeaker Tornado?"

Taffyta: "It depends on how the player pulls it off. Snowanna's Hurricane is way stronger than anyone of us, and Torvald, this wasn't your first time, right?"

Torvald: "It's the 20th time as of now, I remember someone going as me capable of pulling the Dragon Hurricane off, but I forgot who it was."

Rancis: "Guys, GET BACK to your post, Arthur and his friends are going to play!"

Vanellope: "Wait, AGAIN? Oh, right, still in the Afternoon!"

The racers got back to their posts. Inserting their quarters and confirming their Save data, Arthur, Molly, Nancy, Tengfei, Jackson and Norton are ready to battle each other in this next race.

Vanellope: "Oh? (Jumps in excitement) Ha-HAAA!"

Crumbelina: "(Twirls, bows, and pumps her right fist up, smiling)"

Adorabeezle: "(Makes a Roundhouse Kick and points her right hand's forefinger up)"

Torvald: "(Picks up a confetti launcher, pops it and sprinkles pop out of the launcher) Let's Go!"

Minty Zaki: "(Jumps twice and raises both hands up) Alright!"

Citrusella: "(Does a Twirling jump and pumps her left fist forward)"

Jackson: "I Call Royal Raceway, how does that sound?"

Norton: "Good idea!"

Nancy: "Sure, why not."

Tengfei: "If that's where you want to race then SO BE IT!"

Molly: "Sounds like a plan!"

Arthur: "Be careful with what you pick, Jackson."

Jackson: "Seriously, Arthur, we'll be cautious!"

A while later, as the players confirm the track and pick Casual mode, Swati and Nafisa walked into the game cabinets, accompanied with Sally and Rebecca who had just got done with Hero's Duty along with Isaac and another random kid. Sally and Rebecca didn't make it to the top 30 this round.

Swati: "It appears both Jackson and Norton are going after Tengfei."

Sally: "Tengfei, you say?"

Nafisa: "You know her?"

Rebecca: "Wait, who?"

Sally: "Isn't it obvious? He came second at Last Year's World Championship, and knowing his surname, his two big sisters once participated in the 2009 World Championship and out of the two, Huifang was the winner, and that championship took place in Hong Kong. I've raced those two before back in 2015."

Swati: "I never heard of them though."

Sally: "Well, they rarely play on public. Rumor has it they're part of the obscure Underground scene. Taipei's arcades rarely have Sugar Rush Speedway, so, yeah…"

Rebecca: "Huh, never knew Sugar Rush literally had an Underground scene."

Sally: "This whole Underground Scene is notorious in Taiwan, India, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, most of Africa, and the European Union. The most infamous Sugar Rush Underground scene is the Netherlands."

Swati: "Okay, enough about that, the race is about to start!"

With the players confirming the use of Motion Simulator and 3D-Max, shown by them wearing the seat belt and Power-Goggles, the loading screen briefly plays; and after that, the race is about to begin, with opponent racers Jubileena, Gloyd, Snowanna and Rancis. With Royal Raceway being 3 laps long, it's an opportunity for Jackson and Norton to learn something or two about Tengfei's driving style, as long as he doesn't pull off something unexpected, in their hopes.

Snowanna: "So, Torvald, you rolling again?"

Torvald: "Who else but me, it appears this Tengfei kid is up to something."

Crumbelina: "Whatever it is, it's gonna be something no one wish would happen."

Citrusella: "I wouldn't count on that."

Jubileena: "But why are Jackson and Norton so angry today?"

Vanellope: "Doesn't matter. Torvald I'm gonna win this!"

Tengfei: "This is gonna be easy, beating you."

Announcer: "Are you ready? 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! START!"

And the race begins with Arthur and Vanellope in the lead, Molly and Crumbelina in 2nd, Nancy and Adorabeezle in 3rd, Jackson and Minty Zaki in 4th, Norton and Citrusella in 5th, but Tengfei and Torvald in 6th. In the main straight to the ramp of Gumball Gorge, Tengfei is backing out on purpose.

Arthur: "(Maybe this is my shot to beat him. I remember watching this racing show where if I do a side wheelie thingy like what I unintentionally did with Isaac, I can avoid a hurricane without being sucked into the vortex. Although there's only one problem, and that has to do with the Booby Trapped shortcut inside of Nougat Underground.)"

Crumbelina: "(Okay, what's going on here? Is he really pulling back on purpose? If it's a crazy stunt nobody is going to expect, I'm not gonna get fooled a second time anyway!)"

Norton: "(I know this is my first time racing that guy, but I'm also gonna show him why both Jackson and I deserved that whole Pizza!)"

The players and their racers jumped off to Gumball Gorge. Tengfei and Torvald picked up a Sugar Boost Cube; Arthur and Vanellope picked up an Ice Cream Launcher; Gloyd picked up a Sweet Seeker and Rancis picked up a Candy Wrapper Shield.

Arthur: "(I got an Ice Cream cannon, I can use it to attack Norton A-La Mode if he passes me, but I'm gonna have to wait until he does so. But if I look back, Tengfei's got a Sugar Boost Cube, but if he does and is in 6th place, why isn't he using it?)"

The race then continues on to Cakeway tower. The racer superpower bars are getting full as the pack enters the spiraling tower itself.

Tengfei: "(Hmph, it's time.)"

Tengfei activates Torvald's Sugar Boost Cube, allowing him to accelerate, overtaking Jackson and Norton, and approaching Arthur, Molly and Nancy.

Arthur: "(Wait, what's he doing? He's not supposed to pick up speed here! Not until at least the Launch Cannon on top!)"

Jackson: "Fool! He's only gonna make himself crash!"

Minty Zaki: "Hey Torvald (Teasing), what's your hurry?"

Torvald: "Mintz, this is NO time for teasing!"

Citrusella: "Come on you two, it's Tengfei doing that, we should be focusing on those other guys in the back too seeing Jackson and Norton in the center of our pack!

Tengfei and Torvald approach Nancy and Adorabeezle while Molly and Crumbelina are gaining in on Arthur and Molly.

Molly: "You've been quite focused lately, Arthur. Any thoughts?"

Arthur: "Something doesn't seem right with this game."

Molly: "How come?"

Arthur: "Player Initiated Skills… How is that allowed, or even implemented?"

Molly: "Honestly, I never read the Manual before."

In the back, Gloyd is in 10th place so his Sweet Seekers blew off Rancis, Snowanna and Jubileena.

Jackson: "(Distracted) What's going on back there?"

Tengfei: "Focus on the Player opponents you buffoon! The A.I. Opponents don't matter unless they're in front of us!"

Minty Zaki: "Geez, Torvald's far ahead!"

Citrusella: "Just hope that Jackson and Norton pick up Sugar Boost Cubes!"

And got them they did. On the spiraling cake tower there are Power-Up item blocks for the players to collect, and it's lucky for Jackson and Norton to pick up Sugar Boost Cubes for Minty Zaki and Citrusella, but the pack is nearing the launch cannon, so it's best to wait. As the racers jumped off the cake tower into the short plains leading to Frosty Heights, Molly and Crumbelina are now in the lead. However, Arthur begins to notice a branch roadway in the plains that said Detour. Yes, THAT Detour, only Vanellope had to make it herself and surprise her friends. Noticing the detour, Arthur steers Vanellope into the track section, followed by Jubileena, Rancis, Nancy and Adorabeezle.

Rancis: "It's been a while since you raced down this track, eh Van?"

Vanellope: "Oh come on, Rancy, most people tend to forget."

Adorabeezle: "Because the track map literally has NO second branch, only the booby trapped Shortcut."

Jubileena: "Hey, we really should tell Gloyd to update Royal Raceway's track map because SOMEONE forgot to do so back in 2015!"

Adorabeezle: "My bad."

Molly notices that when she and the rest are going up towards Frosty Heights, Arthur, Vanellope, Rancis, Jubileena, Nancy and Adorabeezle are drving through the shortcut named Rocky Hot Fudge Road. While the track does pierce through the actual one, Rocky Hot Fudge Road is very bumpy and quite muddy too, as demonstrated where Vanellope's kart is bouncing due to the harsh terrain.

Arthur: "I never knew this track existed!"

Nancy: "Indeed, this game sure is full of surprise!"

In Frosty Heights, Jackson and Norton used their Sugar Boost Cubes for Minty Zaki and Citrusella to get in the lead, overtaking Molly, Crumbelina, Tengfei and Torvald

Tengfei: "Try to keep your positions, but don't let your guard down."

Jackson: "What do you know about letting your guard down, it's just Lap One!"

Arthur: "Is this really a shortcut?"

Molly: "Actually yes it is, you'll get back to the main track."

Upon entering Nougat Underground's Rainbow elevated tracks, the players and their racers met up at the Thrill Section, as shown that after the initial drop, there's a merger section just before the loop. Upon entering the tunnel, Arthur, Vanellope, Molly and Crumbelina are in the far front. Tengfei picked up a Sugar Boost Cube, just as Jackson, Minty Zaki, Norton and Citrusella are blocking Tengfei and Torvald.

Tengfei: "Are you seriously trying to block me and Torvald?"

Jackson: "I'm not gonna let a phony like you get away with this! Also, that Arthur and his Glitch…"

Tengfei: "PRINCESS VANELLOPE!"

Norton: "Whatever, Arthur and Vanellope are far in front, so Back off, they're ours to beat!"

Tengfei: "Don't you DARE Speak ill of her!"

Torvald: "Um, Sister, Citrusella, what's going on out there?"

Citrusella: "Jackson and Norton are not accepting the fact that Arthur and Vanellope are together as a team!"

Minty Zaki: "No fret about that, just focus on the race!"

Tengfei activates the Sugar Boost Cube; Torvald speeds up approaching Jackson, Minty Zaki, Norton and Citrusella, but upon reaching the Stalagmite King Candy attempted to crash Vanellope and the Racers into when he ruined the Roster Competition with "THE IRON STEEL" Truck which is still slumbering in the Deepest Underground of Sugar World, Jackson and Norton had Minty Zaki and Citrusella crush Tengfei and Torvald!

Torvald: "Sister, Citrusella!"

Minty Zaki: "Sorry Torvald but Jackson wants to win!"

Citrusella: "He and Norton won't let you and Tengfei get away!"

This causes Tengfei and Torvald to CRASH into the Stalagmite!

Tengfei: "HEY NO FAIR!"

Jackson: "Screw you, Phony!"

Meanwhile, Arthur, Molly and Nancy with their racers Vanellope, Crumbelina and Adorabeezle are far ahead. Swati, Nafisa and the others have been observing the race. Swati has been wondering about how things can be unexpected even in Sugar Rush, and that these unexpected things can come out of nowhere.

Swati: "Even skilled players have to expect the unexpected."

Nafisa: "I thought Tengfei was skilled, how did he not prepare for that?"

Sally: "He's a prodigy, and they can sometimes underestimate their opponents. I have come up with a thought that he hasn't even practiced that much on Time Attack, and he probably almost never picked Royal Raceway."

Most of Lap Two is uneventful, except for the part that Arthur, Vanellope, Molly and Crumbelina remained in front. Meanwhile, Nancy and Adorabeezle have been overtaken by Jackson, Minty Zaki, Norton and Citrusella who are now behind Arthur, Vanellope, Molly and Crumbelina, leaving Nancy and Adorabeezle in 5th place behind Tengfei and Torvald in 6th place, as well as the other 4 racers in the back of the pack, already left far behind. Fast Forward to Lap 3, the positions are still the same, but no one uses their character skills yet. However on the Cake tower…

Tengfei: "(Does that weird "Dragon" maneuvers) FLASH DRAGON!"

Jackson: "DAMN! QUICK, FASTER!"

Norton: "YOU'LL NEVER GET US ALIVE!"

Overtaking Nancy and Adorabeezle, Tengfei made Torvald start drifting and swaying forward in the style of a rogue dragon, accelerating forward as she ascends the tower. Jackson and Norton have Minty Zaki and Citrusella speed up, not realizing that they should be slowing down a bit as the curve gets tighter and tighter, but as Jackson, Minty Zaki, Norton and Citrusella reached Arthur, Vanellope, Molly and Crumbelina… Tengfei does it again.

Tengfei: "DRAGON HURRICANE!"

Turning the steering wheel hard left, Tengfei has Torvald generate the Dragon Hurricane Counter-Clockwise, and this move caught Jackson and Norton OFF-GUARD!

Jackson and Norton: "OH CRAP!"

Torvald's Dragon Hurricane knocked Minty Zaki and Citrusella's karts OFF the track, sending them far behind and have to reset back. Torvald then also overtook Vanellope and Crumbelina and then… Tengfei activates Torvald's Skill: Chocolate Sprinkle Spike Balls, slowing Vanellope and Crumbelina down!

Arthur: "Tengfei's INSANE!"

Arthur, Vanellope, Molly, Crumbelina, Tengfei and Torvald jumped off the launch cannon, followed by Nancy and Adorabeezle who are in 4th place! Landing on the Green+Pink race track, Tengfei and Torvald sped away.

Molly: "Seriously, Tengfei how could you pull that off!"

Tengfei: "Hahahahahaha, there's more I've learnt about this game. So stop being a loser and try focusing on what I'm capable of doing!"

Molly: "This isn't over!"

Nancy: "At least the three of us are the nearest to you!"

Arthur: "With Jackson and Norton far behind it's either one of us or him!"

The race continues to Frosty Heights. Tengfei and Torvald used the Rocky Hot Fudge Road shortcut, followed by Arthur, Vanellope, Molly, Crumbelina, Nancy and Adorabeezle. Through Nougat Underground, Arthur and Vanellope are nearing Tengfei and Torvald. Jackson, Minty Zaki, Norton and Citrusella are closing in on the gap.

Molly: "Hey Tengfei, don't think about going away! (Activates Crumbelina's Linearity Missile)"

Crumbelina accelerates forward and overtook Vanellope and Torvald.

Tengfei: "Hahahaha, we're still close behind you!"

Arthur: "You're ALL going down!"

Nancy: "Come on, let's finish this!"

Vanellope: "Crumby look behind you!"

Crumbelina: "Doesn't matter!"

Torvald: "(The racers exit Nougat Underground to the final stretch!) Straight Up to the Finish!"

Arthur: "Don't underestimate me! (Activates Vanellope's Sugar Nitro)"

Vanellope: "(Glows in Light Blue and picking up speed) WHOOOAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

Jackson: "DAMN IT! We can't win!"

Norton: "That Accursed GLITCH GIRL!"

Minty Zaki: "Wow, Vanellope's really going fast!"

Citrusella: "Aren't we all, Mintz?"

Overtaking Tengfei, Torvald, Molly and Crumbelina, Arthur and Vanellope won the race as they cross the finish line.

Arthur: "Hahahaha! I WON!"

Molly: "Well, you did wonders once again!"

Tengfei: "Great one!"

Vanellope: "YAY I WON!"

Crumbelina, Adorabeezle Minty Zaki, Citrusella and Torvald: "CONGRATULATIONS VANELLOPE!"

Since Arthur wins, he gets a free game while the other five quit and recently saved their data.

Nancy: "Not gonna lie, but Arthur's really good with tricks."

Tengfei: "There's nothing wrong with that, but then again, he'll have to be prepared."

Jackson: "I seriously don't get you, Tengfei, but you're on our blacklist!"

Norton: "So be sure to face the fact that we're gonna go after you!"

Tengfei: "I'd like to see you try."

Later at night, as Jackson and Norton are at Heather's house, Jackson and Norton have a conversation.

Jackson: "Norton, do you think Tengfei's insane?"

Norton: "I think he is. But let's not forget our frenemy Arthur; he's still going with that Glitch Girl Vanellope."

Jackson: "Is he one of those Vanellope Simps? But then again, Vanellope's a formidable opponent."

Norton then looked at the intimidating message again.

Norton: "Jack, I was thinking of having him in Sugar Rush. What do you think?"

Jackson: "I don't think this is a good idea, but since we've been humiliated by a Taiwanese prodigy and that Goody two shoes Glitch… We have no choice."
