Familiarity with Thy Friend

Earth… G Reality… 40 years before The Chaos Entity Arrived…

In the inner dimension of G Reality, there was a small planet in the middle of The Solar System. This small blue planet was quite popular if one was so honest. It came with an abundance of life. Creatures of all sorts. Especially a hardy race known as Humans, but they were more or less pleasant to this planet that was their home. Cities as far as the eye can see. Civilization expanded far and wide. Barely a speck of open land in some parts of the world. Earth truly was dominated by Humankind. Within these cities, there were sounds of cars driving down the streets, people talking, murmuring, going about their daily lives as if nothing was out of the ordinary. Police Sirens went off in the distance, firefighters put out some accidental fires, even helicopters flew above the city on their daily avenue. Everything was certainly on its usual schedule. Not a speck of discord at the moment. But perhaps, that was spoken too soon.

Within the City of New York, a massive explosion was set off, causing immediate panic and mass confusion. A Large skyscraper began to collapse to the ground, crushing hundreds of vehicles and people under it. People began to run, fleeing for their lives. A loud roar was heard, the ground began to quake and shake.

Emerging from the rubble was a lizard with large fangs, claws and spikes going from the top of its head that ran down its back and ended on its tail. It resembled a sauropod-like dinosaur. This beast was roughly 500 feet long and stood roughly 200 feet tall, from head to toe. It proceeded on all fours in a quadradial stature, almost like a lizard or crocodilian. Its scale color was a shade of dark red, its eyes were that of green hue. This was a Rhedosaurus, an ancient Dinosaur having long been thought to be extinct and was here to reclaim its home in New York City. To do that, it would flatten all of the city and take back its home turf. Rhedosaurus began to swipe its claws at the nearby skyscrapers, hitting the base and bashing out the supports of the buildings. The Skyscrapers began to topple and fall to the ground, crumbling into large pieces of debris. Mass chaos ensued around the entire area. People fled, panicked, screamed, some even accepted their deaths. The Police and Firefighters did what they could to get some of the civilians out.

The Military were preparing to make a full fledged assault against the Kaiju. Already enroute to New York City in Manhattan, rolling on the bridge were at least dozens of heavy tanks and Humvees. All traversing across the bridges and en route to stop the rampaging Kaiju. Fighter Jets flew in the air, preparing to engage.

The Rhedosaurus swiped its massive tail, dragging it against the ground and swiping it through the debris. This caused several buildings to collapse and crumble into hundreds of pieces. Killing all inside and all around. Rhedosaurus gave another enormous roar, reeling its head back and roaring into the heavens. Letting all who were aware of his presence that none shall stop him.

Except for one…

A few hundred miles off the coast of New York, The Atlantic Ocean…

Just a few hundred miles from the coast of New York, another great beast was preparing to make himself well known to the rampaging Rhedosaurus. A beast of immense power and bewildering strength. He wasn't particularly fond of humans, but this reasonless slaughter needed to end. One way or another. And this beast would ensure that happens. Cutting through the water like a shark, three massive rows of large spikes protruded from the water and made their way to the bay of New York City. (For Clarification, The Appearance of Godzilla is his Millennium 2002 look, or if you need a better appearance, It is Godzilla: Rulers of Earth appearance. He is 120 meters tall. His Dorsal Plates are silverish.)

This was Godzilla, King of The Monsters. And he was ensuring that the natural balance of Earth wasn't thrown off by this rampaging dinosaur.

His dorsal plates cut through the water fast. His speed began to accelerate faster and faster.

There were three U.S Navy Destroyers and a U.S Aircraft Carrier that were observing Godzilla, they kept their distance, however, ensuring they didn't get in his way. Knowing all too well the King of The Monsters would not hesitate to end them should they prove to get in his way.

The Captain of the Aircraft brought off his binoculars and looked through them. Watching Godzilla accelerate his speed and easily outrun all their ships. He quickly got on the radio to contact the mainland.

"Captain Bravo, Godzilla's trajectory puts him heading straight to New York. He's closing in at around 70 knots," One of the Crew members said.

"Yeah, he's certainly pissed," The Captain said as he grabbed the radio.

"This Captain Bravo of the U.S.S Saratoga, Godzilla is en route to New York City, Clocking at around 70 knots, he's moving hella fast," Captain Bravo said on the radio.

"Roger, Captain Bravo, Ground Forces are moving in position," The radio called in.

"Copy, over and out," The Captain said as he hung the radio back on the controls. He looked out to the windows of the Flag Bridge, seeing Godzilla easily outrun any of their ships at an accelerating rate.

"All floating vessels within the vicinity, Tail him," The captain gave the order as the rest of the crew began contacting the other nearby vessels.

With the order given, the three destroyers and the aircraft carrier began to follow Godzilla, their speed began to pick up, but they weren't near as fast as the King of The Monsters, who easily put distance between them. The captain watched on as the hulking Battleships pursued Godzilla. Things definitely weren't going to end well for New York. Not well at all.

Back within the City of New York…

New York was being laid to absolute waste, skyscrapers had fallen, fire filled much of the destructive path left by the Rhedosaurus. Devastating much of the city. Each step it took flattened several vehicles below its feet. People ran and screamed, fleeing and scattering like rights. Some of the military had engaged in combat with the Rhedosaurus, firing their missiles and bullets down on the creature. Abrams M1A2 Sepv3 tanks and Strykers moved in and fired upon the beast. But, it seemed to only agitate it, further angering the ancient dinosaur. The missiles made contact with the Rhedosaurus, creating large explosions across its chest and face. The Rhedosaurus gave a few roars of agitation from the explosions. Irritating it rather than harming it. The Rhedosaurus raised its right claw and bashed at least six Military vehicles, tearing them apart upon impact and sending them directly into some buildings.

The Rhedosaurus continued its advance into the city. Stomping its claws on the ground, the first strike force quickly backed away, retreating to a safe distance. The Abrams M1 Tanks went into full reverse gear. Attempting to back away from the oncoming threat that was practically right on top of them. The Rhedosaurus looked at the retreating vehicles, quite angrily. A few of the Abrams M1 Tanks opened fire on the approaching Kaiju. The projectiles hit the Rhedosaurus in the face, once again, creating a significant amount of explosions. This proved to be a mistake however, as the Rhedosaurus gave off a loud roar and shook its head a little. Angered by the attacks, the Rhedosaurus returned some attacks of its own. The Ancient Dinosaur briefly hoisted itself on two legs, making it tower above the ground. It then slammed its front body straight down onto retreating tanks and military personnel. The Abrams M1s and Strykers were flattened and destroyed. The fall of the creature planting its front on the ground caused the street to capsize, splitting in half and bursting upwards. Breaking the very ground below it.

The Rhedosaurus placed its feet back under it and continued advancing further into the city.

Just on the borders of Manhattan…

The Military made a quick decision to divert resources to the incoming threat of Godzilla, who would no doubt destroy much in his wake. The Military didn't want to take any chances. On Manhattan Bridge, more tanks and heavy artillery moved onto the bridge, much of the city had been evacuated and the bridge was closed. Some of the Tanks and heavy artillery got into position on the bridge. Even the soldiers readied for the King of The Monsters. But deep down, they were not ready. Godzilla was an unstoppable force of Nature, if he wanted the Rhedosaurus… and the humans were in his way… he would stop at nothing to ensure they suffered the consequences. Because like a Hurricane or a Tornado, it's best to stay out of its way, but get in the crossfire of it… the penalty would be lethal… if not fatal.

On the Manhattan Bridge, a soldier brought out his binoculars to see if the King was closing in. He scanned the water through the large bay where ships would go in and out of to either go out into the Atlantic, or arrive in the bay for resupply.

The docks had been closed within a four hundred mile radius of the city. The waters were certainly dangerous at the moment. Due to the large amount of monstrosities in the area, obviously. The soldier with the binoculars then saw in the far distance, three rows of dorsal plates cutting through the water like sharks. They were closing in fast, heading straight towards the bridge.

"Contact, three hundred meters, closing fast!" The soldier shouted.

Play "Godzilla Minus One: Godzilla Theme | EPIC VERSION" during this part

Godzilla's entire body created massive waves, sending thousands of pounds of water onto the nearby streets without even moving close to the water. The water was beginning to get shallower, his head rising out of the water. His amber orange eyes glowing through the water, shining brightly underneath. His body began to rise and he wasn't slowing down. Not even remotely. As he rose from the water, standing on his two feet, revealing his massive height of 120 meters in full height. Easily standing above the bridge before him. But Godzilla cared not for the structure before him, he was hunting. Godzilla bellowed out a monstrous roar.

SSSSKKKKKRRRRREEEEEEEEEOOOOOOONNNKKKKKK (1954 Godzilla Roar or Godzilla: Minus One Roar, you pick)

His roar was heard across the entire city very easily, catching the immediate attention of the Rhedosaurus, which was quick to sense the threat of competition. It turned its head towards the source of the roar, Godzilla wasn't within eyesight, but he was within hearing distance. The Rhedosaurus gave off a roar of its own, nowhere near as loud as Godzilla's, but still impressive regardless. The Rhedosaurus turned its body fully, it raised its claw on a building and proceeded to climb it like a gecko. Until it reached the top of the building and soon afterwards the Rhedosaurus began leaping from building to building with extreme athleticism and agility. Making its way to battle the threat to its territory.

Godzilla's roar finished and he then proceeded forward, ignoring the bridge and going on without a care in the world. The Military on the bridge backed up a little, seeing how the massive Kaiju was about to trample the bridge.

"Open fire, open fire!" One of them shouted. The Abrams M1s quickly opened fire, firing upon Godzilla with all the missiles and bullets they had. Even the infantry began to fire. Using their rifles and guns to shoot at the beast. However, these attacks were doing absolutely nothing. Not even as much to grab the Kaiju's attention. Explosions surrounded Godzilla, yet he didn't even acknowledge these attacks let alone the humans. Only continuing to move forward, walking straight for the bridge.

"A-10 Warthogs, bring the rain, I repeat, BRING THE RAIN!" One of the soldiers on the bridge shouted on the radio as he fled from the bridge, along with many others… they were quickly realizing how useless their weaponry was and it was best to get out of the way.

"Copy, Red Leader Squadron on approach," A male voice said on the radio.

"Target is zero-one-six degrees, target confirmed," Another male voice said on the radio. Suddenly, there was a roaring sound of an engine. What came after were at least five A-10 Warthogs, all in a flight pattern shaped like a V, flying down low and preparing to let loose their missiles and bullets. The Warthogs brought the rain as at least dozens upon dozens of heavy cluster missiles were fired directly at Godzilla. The missiles made an impact on Godzilla's chest and face. Consuming most of his front body in explosions and smoke.

"Direct hit, repeat, direct hit!" The soldier shouted on the radio to the others. Black smoke covered most of Godzilla's front body, just when they believed they had won, Godzilla emerged out of the smoke, proceeding forward like it didn't even faze him. The terror on the soldier's faces grew in shock.

"Red Leader to command, Direct hit confirmed on target, Godzilla is proceeding forward, he must be hunting the other one," The pilot of the leading A-10 Warthog said as the Warthog squadron circled around Godzilla at a distance.

Godzilla, despite taking heavy attacks, was completely unbothered by their attempts and proceeded to walk clean through the bridge. The bridge began to crumble and capsize, much of the Abrams M1 and the human soldiers fell into the massive river below them. Godzilla didn't even bother to acknowledge the human structures or the lives he had taken so easily. Only focusing purely on his hunt. He continued forth, advancing onward to hunt down his prey.

Godzilla then quickly heard the consistent roars of the other creature. He turned his head to the left and saw the Rhedosaurus leaping from building to building, each building it leapt from ended up making it fall and topple over. Godzilla's expression turned into a scowl, his eyebrows arching downward, his teeth gritting, his lips trembling a little, almost as if to growl.

Godzilla shifted his body a little as the Rhedosaurus closed in on him, leaping from skyscraper to skyscraper. It gave off many roars of anger towards Godzilla, but he remained unphased by its attempts of intimidation. Godzilla gave off another roar towards the Rhedosaurus and readied himself for its first attack. The Rhedosaurus, quickly seeing Godzilla challenge it, shows no hesitation as it leapt directly towards Godzilla. Preparing to skewer its claws into his scales and sink its teeth into his neck. Godzilla extended his arms towards the leaping Rhedosaurus. The two Kaiju clashed heavily. The Rhedosaurus was much smaller than Godzilla, giving the King an easy size advantage. The Rhedosaurus slammed into Godzilla, however, the impact against Godzilla did more to it than its adversary, barely making Godzilla even move an inch from the clash and instead, was grappled by the throat of Godzilla's right claw. Godzilla growled as he held the Rhedosaurus by the throat, keeping its body off the ground. The Rhedosaurus let out labored roars of anguish as it wrapped its tail around Godzilla's waist. Thrashing and clawing at both his chest and arm, but proved to be insufficient to suffice any sort of damage or harm to The King of The Monsters.

Godzilla growled angrily at The Rhedosaurus, his grip around its throat tightened a little more, strangling the beast with one claw. The Rhedosaurus fruitlessly tried to break free of Godzilla's grasp. It seemed inevitable that the Rhedosaurus was done for… but it had a few tricks up its sleeve. The Rhedosaurus, without warning, began to pour out red acid from its mouth, spewing it directly at Godzilla's face. Godzilla's eyes widened and let out roars of both protest, surprise, and slight pain. The red acid covered Godzilla's eyes and the top of his head. Godzilla, realizing how agitating the acid was, discarded the Rhedosaurus by throwing it aimlessly behind him, turning his body and throwing him in the air with ease. The Rhedosaurus was thrown directly across the small patch of city, smashing into the roofs of a few skyscrapers, which were destroyed with ease. Rhedosaurus then smashed into the small beach area, tumbling into the sand and flattening hundreds of beach chairs and even some Lifeguard watchtowers.

Godzilla swatted the red acid off his face, trying to clear his eyes so he could see. He managed to swat a few splashes off and was able to see. It was slightly blurry, but he quickly managed as the acid almost immediately stopped having effect on him once his healing abilities kicked in. Godzilla was now even more frustrated with his opponent. He turned to where he believed he threw the Rhedosaurus, which was currently spitting out sand from its mouth after having been thrown around like a ragdoll. Godzilla growled, he proceeded to trot at a fast pace, barreling through the buildings and skyscrapers like twigs on a bush. Destroying hundreds of property, and costing millions of damage. The Rhedosaurus began to recover, shaking its head a little, however, was painfully kicked in the side by a powerful force. It let out a shrill of pain as it tumbled to its side, its body halfway in the water.

Godzilla then stepped on the Rhedosaurus' side, pinning it down to the ground. Godzilla's back then began to shimmer and flash, until it went to a constant blue glow. The Rhedosaurus thrashed and flailed around, trying to break free from Godzilla. But the King's weight was too much for the Rhedosaurus to move. Godzilla's eyes began to glow bright blue, his mouth slowly filling up with blue light and energy.

VrNNNNNNNNNN-WRNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-WRNNN

Godzilla was preparing his signature move, his Atomic Breath.

The Rhedosaurus proceeded to spit out the red acid from its mouth, shooting it in a constant cone at Godzilla. The acid connected with Godzilla's body, hitting his chest. It was burning slightly, but Godzilla endured it, his Atomic Breath continuing to charge up and ready to dispose of the Rhedosaurus. As Godzilla's head reeled a little with his back arching just slightly, the Atomic Breath was ready.

It was over…

CHOOOOOONGGGOOOOOOOONGGGOOOOOOONGGNNOOOOOONGCLLLOOOH

Godzilla put the full force of the Atomic Breath straight down onto the Rhedosaurus' skull, pushing its face down into the ground. The red acid ceased immediately as the Rhedosaurus let out a few animalistic crooked groans of pain, until its entire head exploded with blue blood as it covered most of the area around Godzilla, including some of the nearby human structures and streets. Godzilla ceased his Atomic Breath, letting it die down and examining his prey. His prey had been slain, and boy was he hungry. Godzilla reeled his head back in the air and gave off a victorious roar.

SKREEEEE-EEEEEEONGK Wrrrrrr-uuuhn (Think of Godzilla's Victory roar as a sorta mix between Legendary Godzilla's Ultra Roar (The roar he made in 2014), and the 1954/Minus One roar. The Minus One/1954 roar is the base, but near the end it's the Wrrrrrr-uuuhn, sound, you know the ending sound Legendary Godzilla makes after nearly every roar.)

As Godzilla finished his roar, he lowered his head back down. He looked at himself, seeing the blue blood covering his body. Even his hands. He wrung his hands a little, swatting off some of the blue blood. He looked back down at the corpse, it was time to bring it back to a safe place. Away from all the humans. Godzilla hunched his back down and extended his claws to pick up the carcass. Godzilla gripped a hold of the carcass by the hind leg. Lifting up off the ground just a little. Until he felt a few hits in his back, the force was strong enough to push him forward a little as he dropped the carcass on the ground. It felt like explosions, but they didn't hurt him, only make him drop the carcass to the ground. Godzilla didn't even bother looking behind him, knowing all too well it was the humans making frivolous attempts to kill him. Possibly those floating vehicles that he passed by earlier.

Godzilla grunted in annoyance, he grabbed the hind leg of the Rhedosaurus carcass, picking it up. But once again, the humans proved arrogant and persistent in an annoying way. The explosions and force of their large missiles from the Warships were enough to make Godzilla drop his food. The carcass fell to the ground with a loud thud. Godzilla growled a little. His patience was thinning mighty quickly. These humans were playing a dangerous game.

Godzilla would give them another chance to cease their actions or they would suffer. Godzilla closed his eyes and took a relaxed breath. They stopped firing for a short moment, with that, Godzilla reached down to pick up the hind leg of the corps. Lifting it up off the ground. He managed to get it to the highest he'd gotten so far. He was about to throw it over his shoulder… until… the humans fired again. Multiple explosions were set off across his body and caused him to step forward. The carcass fell to the ground again. Godzilla's growl turned into a snarl, his teeth gritting sharply, twisting with rage and anger. The dorsal plates of the King began to shimmer and blink a few times, and then returned to a constant glow. These humans had the chance to stop… but they chose death.

A loud sound began to vibrate in the air, Godzilla's rage built up more and more when the explosions didn't stop.

He slowly turned his body towards the four ships out in the harbor which were all firing at him with their massive turrets and war cannons. Godzilla's eyes shifted into blue color, no longer able to see the King's pupils. And then, Godzilla let loose his Atomic Breath. Firing it directly at the ships. He first aimed for the one to the furthest left, his left. He then sweeped the Atomic Breath across the sea. Upon impact, huge explosions were set off and immediately destroyed the ships. The water even rose from the force of the blast, sending the ships into a fiery blaze. Godzilla sweeped his breath from one ship to the other until the harbor of New York was filled with smoke and fire.

To further show that Godzilla wasn't messing around, he cut off his Atomic Breath and turned to the city behind him. And without even a hesitating thought, Godzilla sweeped his Atomic Breath across the city slowly. Creating explosions as big as the clouds, setting every building, car, and structure into a massive flame. He swept his Atomic Breath from the ground to the skyscrapers. This was a demonstration of power, to show his dominance, and see what happens when humanity gets in his way. Nearly 80,000 acres of land in New York had been leveled and sent into ruins. The sky was filled with black smoke, flames and fire raged across the ruins of the land of New York. There was still a vast amount of city left… but as far as the eye could see, much of it had been laid to waste.

Godzilla ceased his Atomic Breath, scowling out towards the ruins of the city. This would be a lesson to humanity that if they crossed Godzilla's path, they would suffer for it… dearly.

Godzilla, without needing to process what he'd done, reached down for the Rhedosaurus carcass, gripping it by the hind leg and throwing it over his shoulder, and went into the sea. Descending into the harbor and disappearing out of sight.

He swam out to the sea and disappeared into the water.

The City of New York was in millions of flames. Much of the City still remained intact, there remained an additional 113,700 acres left. But this was a devastating hit to the world. Godzilla had once again demonstrated immense power. Power that was beyond what any human could ever hope to achieve or overcome. Yet, they foolishly believed he could be killed by their hands… but this would be their downfall…

Island in the Middle of the Pacific… 3 hours later…

On an island that reached far into the middle of the Pacific Ocean, this island was decently large, with jungles, forest, beaches, and the typical volcano. There wasn't a designated name for this island. There weren't any local tribes nor were there any settlements or civilization of any kind. At least not today…

But it wasn't entirely uninhabited.

Sitting on the ground in front of a dying bush, a human with long blonde hair that went all the way down to her calves. She has very long blonde hair with thick honey-colored streaks. Her hair perpetually flows in the air, even when she isn't moving. She is a tall, hourglass-figured woman with very pale lilac skin, standing roughly 9' 6" tall. Her eyes have light violet irises and long thick eyelashes, and she sports sparkling-plum eyeshadow and dark magenta lipstick. Her attire consists of a short white robe, almost like that of a bath towel. However, it seemed more pushed towards actual clothing rather than just a cover. It went over top of her breasts and was cut short behind her back, exposing her back shoulders. Which were quite detailed with exotic muscles and skin.

She sat in front of this dead bush, which had lost its will to live, as she sat in front of it, she gently held one of the branches in her hand, lifting it up softly.

"Poor little thing," She said with a very kind voice. She then began to sing, humming a beautiful melody of vocal hums and singing. And right after she did that, the bush seemingly restored back to life. The branches extended into greenery, some pink flowers blossomed on it and its leaves had returned.

"There you go, all better now," The woman spoke again to the now blooming bush. She smiled with a gentle passion, seeing the bush grow back to life and earn the will to live again brought a smile to her face. But suddenly, a sensation filled her gut, and a series of growls emerged from it. The woman looked down at her stomach and put a hand over it. She was starving and hungry. She hadn't eaten any meat in a long time. And the creature of this island refused to allow her to eat any meal he brought to this island. She figured it was his dislike towards humans. She didn't entirely blame him for it.

Wrrrrrr-uuuhn

The sound of him was heard in the distant ocean. She winced a little, she was hoping he was feeling generous today. She believed him allowing her on this island and letting her live was enough grace. But, she needed food, badly. She stood up and began walking towards the spot he would go to. As she walked through the forest of this island, off in the distance, was a massive set of ruins. Old ruins, like an ancient and forgotten city that had long been abandoned centuries ago.

Just off the coast of the island…

Godzilla's dorsal plates rose from the water, cutting through it like a knife to butter. He then rose from the water and stepped towards the island that he claimed as his home. On his back was the Rhedosaurus carcass, his claw had a hold of it on the hind leg as it slouched behind his back. Godzilla grunted a little and proceeded to make his way towards his resting spot. Where he would eat the carcass and feast. His footsteps were gentle thuds on the ground, keeping his feet slightly light on the ground.

It took not a few moments until Godzilla reached the borders of the ancient city built long ago. They were built specifically for him, as a place of worship and safety. It was once his father's before him, who he idolized when he was still alive. Still does to this day. It had been quite a few years since his father was killed and gave his life to save his only son. Since then, Godzilla had been trying to fulfill his role in his father's place. Becoming the King of Monsters was of no means an easy role, nor was it meant to be taken lightly.

Godzilla then stepped over a large wall of a massive coliseum, one so large it had at least an additional 200 feet of diameter all the way around Godzilla. Godzilla looked around, seeing if there were any other Kaiju that might want to take his food. It seemed all clear for now. Godzilla gruffed a little, huffing out some hair through his nostrils and sat the carcass of the Rhedosaurus on the ground. Godzilla proceeded to sit on the ground, using mostly his tail as an easy seat. It never really hurt his tail to put weight on it, in fact, he didn't even notice the weight on his tail. His tail was one of the strongest muscles on his body, so it could very easily act as a seat for him.

Godzilla sat in the middle of the coliseum, he grunted a little, he reached for a leg of the Rhedosaurus carcass, gripping a hold of the front leg. He tore it off clean and took a chunk of it. Ripping off the blue meat and swallowing it very easily. It was extremely nutritious, and had a decent taste. He had the limb in one claw, he took another bite, clamping his jaws on a larger part of it and ripped it off quite rashly. He chewed it slightly, moving his jaws up and down on it to move it towards his throat, until he swallowed it.

Not very far away, however, Godzilla wasn't entirely alone. She hid behind a half destroyed that could act as some sort of cover. She placed her hands on the wall and watched him eat. She just wished he could be more understanding with her. She couldn't pose a threat to him, but perhaps that wasn't the point… Perhaps it was… She didn't know…

Her stomach then made a heavy growl, she placed her hand over her stomach. But then her eyes widened in shock.

As if with his extreme hearing, Godzilla's ears perked up slightly, almost like a bat when it heard echolocation. He stopped mid bite from eating another piece of meat from the limb he tore off. He turned his head to the source of the sound. And then, he saw her… The human woman who he had come across a few days ago. She had been on this island doing God knows what. And it seemed she was watching him eat. Why is that? Surely she had food to herself on this island, there was plenty of wild fruit that he didn't eat. This was also the fourth day in a row he'd caught her watching him eat. Which was beginning to get strange. But what was even more strange was that out of all the times he'd caught her watching him, it wasn't from the sound of a stomach growling.

Godzilla looked down at her, she didn't bother trying to hide behind the half destroyed wall, she only stood there, her arms on the wall, peeking her head from the wall a little. She gave a pitiful, almost begging expression. Godzilla closed his mouth as he looked at her a little more closer. She had her hand over stomach like something was bothering her. He quickly noticed her glance at the limb in his hand, which he followed with her gaze towards it with only his eyes. Then returned his gaze back to her. So that's why she had been doing this, she was hungry… possibly starving. Why hadn't she just told him? He would've gladly lended a chunk of his food to her had she said something.

The woman looked on, he seemed to be contemplating something. Godzilla then shifted his weight a little more. He looked down at the Rhedosaurus carcass. He dropped the limb in his other hand and reached for a piece of it. He then tore off a small piece of the Rhedosaurus meat. Making sure to tear off a piece that was suitable for her size. Which was about the size of his fingertip. He examined the piece a little, which was a chunk of blue meat. He looked back down at the woman, who watched inquisitively.

Godzilla then extended his hand with the piece of meat on it to the woman. She backed up a little, slightly frightened. Godzilla grunted a little, moving his hand a little. It was like a gesture to say 'Take it, it's yours' or 'Do not be afraid'. The woman watched a little cautiously but gave in to her curiosity. She reached out and grabbed a piece of meat. Which was roughly the size of her head. She grabbed it with both her hands as Godzilla let it go. Godzilla grunted again as he returned to his position and picked up his piece of meat. He returned to his feast and allowed the woman to eat hers.

She watched in slight shock… had she… misunderstood him? What has changed? He'd never done this before? Was it… Wait… Perhaps she hadn't said anything? Therefore he wasn't aware of her hunger, perhaps that could've been it? She wasn't sure, only that she was grateful.

"T-Thank you," She mustered out, Godzilla looked at her without moving his head, he took another bite of his food. He gave a soft purr for a response.

The woman couldn't help but giggle a little.

"Uhm… My name's…" She paused for a moment… Should she tell him of her true name? She wasn't sure if there was a Kaiju or someone of great power within this world, but she didn't want to take the chance of exposing who or what she was.

"Satrina… My name's Satrina," Satrina said, it was one of her many names used through different cultures procured by humans, so this was one she would use towards the people of this world. Godzilla turned his head a little, he gave a small snort, his teeth showing a little. It sounded like it was giving the 'Didn't ask' vibe. Satrina grew a little nervous and shy.

"Right… Uhm, well, Thank you for giving me this, it means a lot to me," Satrina said a little nervously to the giant Kaiju. Godzilla didn't respond this time, only continuing to eat his meal and try to eat in peace. Satrina grew a little more nervous from the Kaiju silence. Maybe it was best to leave him in peace and not tempt fate.

"I uuuhhh… I guess I'll relieve you of my presence, I'll go now… Again, thank you for the food," Satrina said as she backed up a little, backing away from the Kaiju who once again didn't acknowledge her and only kept eating his food. Satrina then turned her full body and made her way out of the coliseum.

When she finally made it out of the coliseum, she took a heavy but controlled exhale of relief. Damn it! What was wrong with her?! Talking to a Kaiju like that?! He could've ended her life right then and there and he wouldn't think twice of regretting that! How idiotic could she possibly be!? FUCK!

"Fucking Hell, you're such a crazy bitch," She said to herself as she put a hand on her face, though this did get blue blood on it, but she didn't care or mind it. She looked at the raw piece of blue blood. Meat was still meat. No matter what color or how it's cooked.

Satrina then found a quiet spot within the ancient city, sitting down next to a large stone pillar building, almost like a tower. Upon sitting down, she took a large bite out of the piece of meat. Ripping it off and chewing it up. Swallowing it. Blue blood dripped from the right side of her lip. She used her finger and wiped it off. She then placed it in her mouth and sucked it off. She didn't know what sort of beast that Godzilla had killed, but it tasted delicious. Satrina closed her eyes, her stomach was finally feeling the sensation of meat after a long while. She let out a small and soft exhale, moaning a little in satisfaction. She would savor this moment, this food was delicious.

She proceeded to eat the meat more and more. Until there wasn't even a piece left. She licked all her fingers, putting them in her mouth and sucking off any leftover blood. She was full, full of delicious food. She had strength now, and she would need it just in case.

She took the time to find a suitable place to rest. Standing up and looking around for a soft place to lay her head. And as luck would have it, a large patch of soft moss rested up against a much larger ruined building. She rested on her side and put her head on her hand. As she did this, she heard the shifting and vibrations in the ground. Indicating the Kaiju was also taking his rest.

Satrina closed her eyes and would await what the new day would bring.

3 hours later…

Satrina's sleep was disturbed by the sound of heavy conflict and loud roars of monsters. Her eyes bolted open and could see around her, there was fire and some of the old structures had toppled over. Despite her tiredness, she jolted to her feet and looked to see what was causing all this. What was happening?!

And suddenly, she heard a series of roars. She looked up to see Godzilla fighting a massive Spider like Kaiju that had latched onto his back and proceeded to sink fangs into his neck. Godzilla gave a roar of pain as the venom was injected into his blood. The King of The Monsters tried to shake off the massive spider Kaiju.

It was Kumonga, The Giant Spider Monster. She didn't know why it was here, but it was attacking Godzilla for food, territory, or something entirely else.

Godzilla gave a loud roar of anger towards Kumonga, who showed no signs or intentions of releasing Godzilla. Godzilla thrashed his body around, destroying a small portion of the coliseum wall, breaking through it and ending up outside of it. Satrina quickly ran for the tree, running through the streets of the abandoned ancient city. Heading for safety. She was nearly to the trees, but then she could hear roars of pain, pain of an animal being mauled and hurt. She froze, turning her head behind her to see Godzilla roaring in pain from both the fangs and the lethal venom that had been injected into his body. What was she feeling right now? She could just leave… but a part of her was telling her not to. Telling her she needed to do something about this.

RAEEEEEER(Injured Roar of Godzilla. Think of Legendary Godzilla's painful roar.)

But then… she began to have flashbacks… The cries of Godzilla reminded her too much of her own husband… When his brother came down to harm her and her family, he ended up brutally wounding her husband… nearly killing him and tormenting him… She could then see her husband screaming in pain as a large scythe twisted and shoved into her chest, yellow blood covering his face and seeping out of his mouth. The image of her husband flashed in and out in place of Godzilla's roars of pain.

Satrina's teeth gritted, her fists clenching to her side. And without thinking for another second, she took off straight towards the danger. Almost like it went against the laws of human anatomy, she began to levitate through unknown means. And from her hand, she created a large red spear in her right hand. Holding it to her side and flying at an extremely fast speed towards the two battling Kaiju.

The venom in Godzilla's body was getting worse and worse the more Kumonga injected into him. Godzilla's healing abilities were having a difficult time kicking in due to the amount of toxins being put into his body all at once. It was not just a few pounds of venom… but millions of pounds of venom. Kumonga's venom was deadly and lethal, if not fatal, the fact Godzilla was still alive was an impressive feat… but the fact that he's standing is even more shocking. Godzilla tried to throw off Kumonga, but it proved futile…

But then, he could see something… or more of someone, flying directly towards him and Kumonga. The Giant Spider didn't seem to notice. But Godzilla saw a flash of her and saw who it was. The human woman who was flying by means he wasn't entirely certain of, carrying a weapon in hand and heading straight towards them at an incredible speed. No human could do what she's doing… not one…

And then, The woman ran straight into Kumonga's face and skewered her spear straight into one of Kumonga's eyes. Causing the massive Kaiju Spider to let out a massive shriek of pain as blood spewed from one of her eight eyes. Releasing her fangs from Godzilla's neck and finally allowing him to focus slightly.

But Satrina wasn't done, she used her magical flying abilities to try and shove Kumonga off Godzilla's back. But the Spider remained attached to Godzilla's dorsal plates. But it was enough to put Kumonga's fangs and body from Godzilla's. And this is where Godzilla got the advantage. Godzilla quickly grabbed one of Kumonga's spider legs on his left side. Gripping it tightly and swung Kumonga off him, slamming her to the ground and making her tumble through the many old stone structures of the ancient city. Satrina managed to make it off the Kaiju Spider before she was slammed into the ground. Levitating in the air as she watched the massive spider tumble in the ground. Her eyes glowed with a red hot stare, her pupils became black and cat eyed, the irises became a light shade of see through red gradient, mixed with dark pink, and her sclera became similar in color to the irises. And suddenly, ram horns protruded from her head. Colored with a dark pink color.

Godzilla shook his head a little to shake off the venom from Kumonga, he then quickly turned his head to look at the flying human woman who kept her attention towards the Kaiju Spider. He noticed horns protruding from her head… but that wasn't what he cared about… he sensed an incredible amount of power within her. Huge in fact, one that definitely surprised him. How is it that he couldn't sense this beforehand? He felt a faint power nearby, believing it to be Kumonga when she appeared, but he was mistaken. He never expected it to come in the form of a human female. If she was human, that is. There was something different about her, something Godzilla couldn't quite pinpoint. And what's more is, she aided him in combat, already she had made herself an ally with him. Aiding him in combat was a great way to both gain his attention and begin a trust connection. She kept her attention towards the Spider Kaiju…

Until she turned her head towards Godzilla where he could see her eyes. The color of gradient mix of see through red and pink, glowing with bright radiance and vibrant hue. Her serious and angered expression quickly shifted into a nervous smile. She straightened her posture a little.

"Uuuh… Hi," She said nervously as she gave a small, subtle, and nervous wave towards Godzilla.

Godzilla tilted his head again. What curious mood shifts.

Satrina ended up feeling a little embarrassed and turned away from Godzilla as her face turned a little red, the sudden interest he had in her definitely swayed her a little more than she expected.

But suddenly, their little moment was shifted as Kumonga returned back to her feet and began to shoot webbing at both Godzilla and Satrina. Catching both of them off guard. The webbing was distributed more to Godzilla than to Satrina, but it was still enough. Satrina was sent flying into the tower she had eaten her food near, and was restrained to the wall. Godzilla on the other hand, felt the webbing and slight restraint, having his arms immobilized for a brief moment, until he effortlessly broke free of the white webbing. He growled in anger and turned towards the woman who was restrained by the white webbing. He turned back towards Kumonga and growled a little, he then used his tail to bash a few pieces of old stone structures towards Kumonga, hitting her head on in the face and her to flip over on her back.

Godzilla gave another snort through his nostrils, almost like a 'pathetic' gesture. He began to make his way to Satrina who was having slight difficulty trying to free herself. But she paused and could see Godzilla walking right up to her. He then proceeded to bring his finger up towards the building. Satrina closed her eyes, almost bracing herself. Believing he was going to squish her like a bug, but that never came, instead, it felt like something had cut her free. Like the Webbing had been ripped off entirely. She reopened her eyes and saw Godzilla had used his fingertip to scrape off the webbing from her body. She was quick to retain her magical abilities back in the air as she looked at him, a little shocked he would do something like that for her. He easily could've kept fighting the other Kaiju and left her to free herself… but he selflessly freed her. This Kaiju was most definitely not like any that had been told about in the stories she had heard… And if they had, it was nothing to this extent.

Godzilla looked down at her, giving a soft and gentle expression. This was the closest she had ever been to him, his massive hulking body, with his face this close to her. She looked into his eyes, the beautiful and glorious amber orange eyes that glowed in the dark… It was mesmerizing. But this moment couldn't last forever unfortunately.

Godzilla's face scowled, he looked behind him without moving his head, where Kumonga attempted to attack Godzilla from behind. He gave a heavy snarl. Satrina's eyes sparked a flash of red, green energy sparked from her hands, she flew forward right next to Godzilla's shoulder and threw her right hand forward, while still holding her spear in her left hand. Upon throwing her fist forward, a huge shockwave of green psionic energy was thrown at Kumonga like a punch. The attack hit Kumonga dead on, hitting her straight in the gut and sending her crashing into the ground. Godzilla remained heavily impressed by Satrina's powers. But his attention was needed elsewhere. Godzilla shifted his body towards Kumonga, who was having difficulty recovering from the blow she had taken.

Godzilla's back then began to shimmer and blink a few times. It was smart to assume that Godzilla had enough with this Spider. His back blinked a few times of bright blue color, going into the constant glowing phase as his eyes and mouth began to glow with blue atomic energy.

VrNNNNNNNNNN-WRNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-WRNNN

Kumonga managed to recover and stand on her eight legs, only to realize… death has already taken.

Godzilla then let loose his Atomic Breath straight at Kumonga.

CHOOOOOONGGGOOOOOOOONGGGOOOOOOONGGNNOOOOOONGCLLLOOOH

The beam smashed into Kumonga's face, pushing her back against the ground and sending her through the island. Making a small ravine. Kumonga let out heavy squeals and shrieks of pain, until her entire body imploded with green guts and blood. Exploding in a massive blaze of blue fire and explosions.

Kumonga was dead…

The atomic energy around Godzilla died down, his back returning to normal and his eyes toning down back into the amber orange color. Satrina, also seeing the enemy kaiju defeated, calmed down a little. She was on Godzilla's shoulder, her horns retreated back into her head, her eye color returned back to the light violet hue. Her spear dissipated into red dust. Both of them in perfect synchronization, let out a small huff. Satrina let out a huff through her mouth, whilst Godzilla let a huff out through his nose.

Godzilla turned to look at the woman who was on his shoulder. She also turned to look at him. She still seemed a little nervous around him, but it didn't seem to be the afraid kind.

"Uuuhhmm… Hi, Again, I'm Satrina," Satrina said with shyness on his shoulder. He tilted his head a little. He gave a small huff of air through his nose, it was gentle and almost to say it was him acknowledging her.

Satrina widened her eyes a little, almost surprised that he was acknowledging her.

"Uhm… What's your name?" Satrina said, still a little shy.

"I'm afraid I do not have one," A gentle and calm voice spoke to her. Through her mind. She widened her eyes a little.

"Y-... You don't have a name?" Satrina said, a little shocked. She wasn't going to ask if this was him or not, because it was bluntly obvious who it was.

"No… At least not one that I've grown accustomed to," Godzilla said telepathically towards Satrina. Satrina gave it some thought. Surely he went by something? Something that she could refer to him as.

"Then… What should I call you? Is there no name that you've been referred to the most? Or at least a title of some sort?" Satrina asked curiously. Godzilla looked at her for a short moment. Oh right… there was one name that he was referred to by a lot. Even Kaiju have used the name on him. It was once his Father's name, now it's his.

"If you truly insist on calling me a name, then you may use 'Godzilla', It was the name of my father's and humans along with other Kaiju use that name on me, if that helps at all," Godzilla said telepathically. Satrina giggled a little. Covering her mouth slightly. Godzilla titled his head a little.

"Did I say something incorrect?" Godzilla asked. Satrina shook it off.

"No… No, it's not that. The name just sounds somewhat cheesy, but I think it suits you," Satrina said with a smile. Godzilla rolled his eyes.

"If the name is not comfortable with you, then you may call me whatever you wish, I care not… but this leaves me with many questions… Who are you? Who are you truly? Why are you on this island and why did you aid me in combat?" Godzilla asked curiously, sounding slightly stern but calm and still kind in a sense. Satrina looked at him, she let out a small sigh.

"Well… Like you, I go by a lot of names, Satrina is one of them. So, you can call me Satrina. As for what I am, I'm a demon, and I'm here to… Well… get away from my problems. And I just happened to be on your island when I came here…" Satrina said to Godzilla, giving her honest information but also trying not to reveal too much about herself. Godzilla took in her words.

"A demon? I've never met a demon such as yourself. You don't seem malevolent. In fact, you look the complete opposite," Godzilla said, calmly. Satrina was a little taken back by his kindness.

"Oh… Well… Uhm, thank you, I… I guess I just give off the aura," Satrina said.

"Hm, your aura gives off an incredible power, I do not sense any form of malevolence, therefore, your point stands," Godzilla said telepathically.

"That's not quite what I-... Nevermind, I appreciate you being honest," Satrina said.

"Yet, you still have yet to answer my last question," Godzilla said telepathically.

"Hm?"

"Why did you aid me in combat?" Godzilla asked telepathically. Satrina flinched a little from the question. She looked away for a moment. Godzilla raised an eyebrow and cocked his head to the side.

"I… I couldn't stand hearing your screams… It reminds me too much of my past," Satrina said, trying not to remember what had happened all those years ago… all those attacks… all those actions that her husband's bastard brother had done to her and her family. Godzilla couldn't help but feel pity for her. He gave a look of small sorrow, but it was hard to decipher.

"I see… Then you need not say anymore. You have aided me in combat and have therefore gained my respect, You are free to stay on this island as long as you don't pose a threat," Godzilla said telepathically. Satrina smiled and looked back towards him.

"Oh, gosh, well, Thank you. What are we going to do about all this?" Satrina asked as she gestured to some of the destroyed structures and damage to the landscape.

"We shall worry about that upon dawn, for now, I need to rest, recover some of my strength for tomorrow's arrival," Godzilla said as he slowly made his way back to the Coliseum, with Satrina still on his shoulder.

"Why? What's happening tomorrow?" Satrina asked curiously.

"As the King of The Monsters, it's my duty and purpose to ensure that the other Kaiju do not overthrow the balance of Nature and do not disrupt the natural order of life, Therefore, I must scout my territory and ensure the other Kaiju keep in line," Godzilla said as he stepped over the Coliseum. Satrina was shocked. He was a King? The King of Monsters of Earth?

"You're a king? I had no idea…" Satrina said with slight awe.

"It was a title passed onto me by my father, who was a great King, one I deem to become one day. But an exhausted king makes a worthless wretch. Therefore I must rest," Godzilla said telepathically as he slowly placed his hands on the ground and curled up in a ball almost, using his tail as it wrapped around him like a dragon. Satrina walked up on his neck.

"Well… I could always… sing you a lullaby," Satrina said. Godzilla grew heavily confused.

"A lullaby? I've never heard of such a thing," Godzilla said calmly.

"Your mother never sang to you before you slept?" Satrina asked, almost slightly shocked.

"I never had a mother, the Kaiju who raised me were of the same species as myself, but we were not of the same blood. He took me in, and raised me on this island. I do not know of my true parents, but I have no need nor desire to know, as far as I'm concerned, I do not need any parents," Godzilla said calmly. Satrina covered her mouth slightly. Godzilla was an orphan? She didn't even know Kaiju could be orphans… yet here one stood, one who is more kind and robust than frightening and scary.

"I'm… sorry to hear about that… I had no idea…" Satrina said.

"No, why would you? You've known me not more than four days, today is the only time you've even spoken to me. There is no need to be 'sorry', for you have had no control over that. Besides, I do not need your pity. Now, I must rest, sleep here if you want, I will not force you to leave," Godzilla said as he rested his head to the side. Satrina was surprised by his words, but took them in. The fact he didn't care about that sounded… wrong… She may not have had blood parents, for she was created… not born. Her parents… or parent was the creator of her universe.

"Then… Allow me to help," Satrina said.

She then perched herself on top of Godzilla's head. Hovering above her eye, where he watched her.

Satrina sings "Baldur's Gate 3 Original Soundtrack - Nightsong" during this part for the rest of the one-shot

As Satrina hums and sings beautifully to Godzilla, he watches her with his eye… he was seeing something within her… something he hadn't expected to see in most creatures. Beauty, resplendence, and harmony… Things he believed one Kaiju could possibly have. But he was wrong… he did not care what she was, only that she was here. Singing a beautiful lullaby that Godzilla found himself entranced in.

His pupils started getting bigger, his eye lids slowly closing shut as Satrina continued to sing.

Satrina herself even found herself slightly tired, as she moved over to Godzilla's snout, resting her body in between his eyes. Singing once again. Godzilla's eyes then fully closed, but Satrina only kept singing. Keeping the beauty and calmness in the air.

Godzilla then fell into his slumber, with Satrina resting her back against Godzilla's scales, looking up to the stars… Continuing her beautiful song that she called… Nightsong. As the stars blinked and lit up the sky, Satrina herself closed her eyes and sunk into peaceful sleep. No flitting nightmares, no fear, no spasms in her sleep… just pure, peaceful. Peace she hadn't felt in many eons.

Both Satrina and Godzilla fell into their quiet sleep.

The stars of the Universe shined brightly tonight, lighting up the sky beautifully.

And this was just the beginning…
