You have managed to make both the worst and best explanation of this situation I will ever hear, Lloyd sounding astonished, which was accompanied with grunts of agreement from the others. Skylor sat with a mixed expression as she processed the situation, before sitting upwards, looking at him.

"So to sum up what you've just told me, when the others disappeared, they were put in a spiritual state, decided to try possession as a way to communicate, and they are now as a result all currently inside of your head like genuine ghosts?"

"... Yyyyup..." Was all he managed, looking away.

"That's what I meant when I said I probably was going to sound crazy.." He chuckled half heartedly, although he didn't feel like it was funny.

"Well... that's not really something you can make up without thinking it over, and I know you aren't crazy so something such as that seems unheard of when coming from you, so I can believe pretty easily you aren't lying," She smiled at him, before tilting her head.

"So they can hear everything I'm saying, right?" He looked back at her, before a sigh escaped him, exasperation crossing his face.

"They can hear everything I say out loud, see everything I see, hear everything I hear and hear every thought that pops up into my head," She snorted at this.

"So you can't keep your thoughts to yourself? I guess that means while you can hide stuff from me, Wu and Pixal you can't hide it from your friends anymore," She gave him a cheeky smile. He returned it with one of exasperation at this.

Heyyy she's riiight~ So if you try to downplay your injuries you know you'll have all of us yelling at you~ Lloyd's teasing tone caused him to eye roll, putting his chin in his palm.

"Yeah yeah I get it," Skylor raised a brow at this.

"You'll have to tell Wu and Pixal you know, there's no sense keeping it if there's a chance we can help fix the problem,"

"Yeah... I just have this nagging feeling they'll take me as having lost it due to how I've been the past few days," He huffed.

"Nonsense. I may not know them as well as you do but this is a totally plausible situation to have occurred due to the villains you've fought before," Kai gave her a side glance, before chuckling.

"The fact that is even something you can say tells you how bad it is sometimes," She hummed in agreement.

"Well, you guys are strong, having overcome many different obstacles, I doubt this will be something we can't deal with," She gave him a warm smile, which he had no choice but to accept, sighing with his own smile. This, however, quickly faded.

"The only real problem I see with this though is the fact that I ended up being like, what, the messenger bird in a sense? They physically cannot speak to anyone unless I reiterate what they said for them, and they can't interact with anything so all they can do is just sit there. Not only that, I took a heavy amount of damage so I have to sit here with them stuck in my head unable to do anything but suffer while we not only try to find a solution, but wait for my stupid body to heal.." He put his head in his hand as he leaned over, staring at the floor.

Excuse me?? Kai, your health right now is much more important than us, so I don't want to hear you say 'stupid body' one more time and complain when none of this was even your fault to begin with! His sister practically was yelling at him, making him wince a bit.

"I'm going to assume one of them just said something about what you said, and although I have no idea what they said it was probably along the lines of 'never say that again' which I'll be agreeing with," Skylor put a hand on his shoulder while she spoke, making him look at her before averting his gaze.

"I just... y'know..." Hate feeling useless.. The words went unspoken, but Skylor picked them up quite easily, shifting herself closer to him.

"You're never useless, just think of it as 'temporarily decommissioned', and just think once you're healed you have some pre existing knowledge of this Kobeula lady when you fight her again, so you'll be even stronger than you were before," He looked her over, before groaning.

"I can't escape the mushy-feely encouragement can I," He put his face in his hands, pretending to be exasperated while Skylor laughed beside him. The others were chuckling as well, much to his amusement.

If you consider it 'mushy' then you're gonna be in a lake of it until we get out of your head. Lloyd snickered.

I'll internally punch you.

I don't even think that's possible.

No better time to find out then huh? Jay was hollering now.

That's to you as well Jay, reminder you guys can give me a physical headache. He calmed down at this but was still too busy laughing to bite back at Kai.

"You should still tell Wu and Pixal, they'll believe you, I can almost guarentee it," He looked back up at Skylor, who had a gentle smile on her face. He smiled back at her, giving in.

"Alright, only because you're so confident about it," He then leaned back on the couch, sighing while she chuckled.

"Well, since I'm keeping you company why don't we watch a movie then? I'm sure your friends are pretty bored so the least we can do is entertain them with something other than chatting," Immediately he had a swarm of recommendations out of Jay and Cole that made him flinch.

"Great, thanks for opening the floodgates," She laughed in response.

"I'll pick it to save you the trouble," She offered, grabbing the remote before turning on the tv. Although he struggled to tune out the complaints from Cole and Jay they finally shut up when Skylor picked the movie, which was one that the two actually didn't mind to Kai's knowledge. She leaned her head on top of his, placing her hand on his in reassurance as the movie played, causing a soft smile to pull at his mouth.
