Takes place after "Anna's Family" and ties to Fedora-Head story "Alice Jane 1868"
Every story has a beginning, a middle and an end.
This one all starts in France around 1750.
A young lady who loves to read books, named Belle goes to search for her father who disappeared... and through the forest full of wolves, she found him at the old abandoned castle.
There she came face to face with it's Prince who lived in this castle...
His parents loved each other deeply but tragedy struck immediately and his father, the king dies... while his mother, the sole ruler now was called away to war against neighbouring king who miscalculated that a kingdom ruled by a lonely queen with an infant would be an easy target... She proved him wrong, at cost of her own life.
The Prince lost his chance of normal childhood.
Left alone without his parents , he grew up with castle staff trying their best to make his life no less satisfying... this only spoiled the Prince further, making him arrogant and angry.
He got changed into a beast for his cold heart by Queen of Fairies, Belle's mother...
To get rid of the magic and turn back into a man, the betrayed beast needed to get loved by someone before the last leaf falls off the fairy's rose.
It's irony of fate that the fairy queen's own daughter helped him to do so.
To save her father, Belle agreed to stay with the beast as his prisoner but later by later they'll get to know each other more, with Beast even gifting her an entire library...
Slowly they fell in love.
Not without obstacles.
Belle was hunted by a narcissistic idol of her village.
An the ex-soldier from 7 year war, Gaston. A provider and leader to most but to many a thief who of eggs and food fin an already struggling village.
To Belle, he was the real beast who wanted to sacrifice her father to torturous asylum to force his marriage proposal onto her.
But then he learned of the Beast... and since he desired to marry Belle as the village's best girl, he decided to go and kill the beast.
In his rage, he incited the whole town to terrorism and stormed the castle. One could only imagine where all that violent energy could've been directed if villagers didn't learn of the Beast...
Now they did, and they were taught a lesson at the castle after that.
So was Gaston, once Prince Adam's childhood friend now turned deadly rival, seemingly fell to his death after he eagerly stabbed the Beast in the back.
As the beast was dying himself, the magic broke and finally he changed back to a human with Belle's support.
Belle and Adam married after that... and start their new family.
One would hope they just kept on living their lives with their newborn children, undisturbed...
But there were many out there just like Gaston who had other plans.
Anti nobility sentiment exploded in 1789... and frankly, France was no longer safe for them.
To live , they had to leave, they had to run, to immigrate.
Belle felt a bit sad for their unplanned departure, she did have some good memories in France ... Adam couldn't say the same. He did have moments of happiness there after he met Belle but most of his childhood? Not so much.
Not that they could go back either way now.
However, they could agree on what's important.
They were safe now. Their children were safe.
At least they will be if they keep their royalist heritage a secret. For current times can be dangerous.
Eventually their three children: Charlotte, Agnes, Rose went their separate paths.
Out of all three, Evaline Rose looked like her mother the most.
Belle was saddened that her papa didn't live to see her teenage years, and neither could Mrs Potts live to see her grandchild Chipp becaming a brother figure to Belle's children.
When Rose got old enough, she joined a school in London with big man Cogsworth watching over her.
And after few years of studying, she met a science student and her future husband Archimedes Q. Porter.
Eventually when they grew close, she shared a secret with him.
She could understand animals, probably took I from her father's side.
And he believed her eventually, and together they started their exploration of the animal kingdom.
Met many remarkable individuals along the way like Lewis 'Leopold' Liddell of the "Liddell House".
Eventually Rose got pregnant and had a little girl they named Jane.
Years passed and Rose's parents passed away...
Her sisters gone on their own paths with their families but they did visit from time to time.
Charlotte went on expedition to discover world secrets... which they sometimes joined in on.
Agnes found herself a suitor too, albeit narrowly. And had her own daughter Gwendolyn.
Everyone found their place for time being.
A decade later, as Jane was still very young... her mother Evaline 'Rose' Porter dramatically passed away too.
A saddened Archimedes took care of their daughter and together they continued their family travels around the world making many friends like Milo Thatcher and his grandfather.
That's how one day as Jane worked in the jungles, she met Tarzan..
And as her grandmother before her, she fell in love... with a human beast as far as others are concerned.
He was far from that really.
She told just as much to Mr Burroughs when he came to write about their lives.
There was much more to Tarzan than fisty cuffs and fury.
Did she ever expect to find herself living with a wild man who'd been raised by apes who themselves proven themselves capable of humility.
Sometimes such African lifestyle was harder than she imagined... but Tarzan was there every step of the way.
I was sharing the adventure of his world.
He wasn't really a brute that some so called civilised people think.
Quite the contrary, I ever seen such a gentlest heart in anyone before.
Kala raised him well after his parents were slain by the claws of Sabor, a bloodthirsty leopard who killed Kala and Kerchak's child.
Tarzan never known his parents let alone his other potential relatives...
His identity outside jungles was never known to him... until much later.
They have met king and queen of far away Norwich kingdom of Arendelle, Anna Oldenburg and Kristoff Bjorgman.
Anna recognised the two on their old picture with Tarzan... how did they end up from the north of Europe to the coast of southern Africa?
That was a pirate tail they have uncovered much later after they set sail on a new journey, one where they intended to learn of Tarzan's family...
And that they did. Discovered many secrets about Tarzan's family, about Jane's family, about his cousin Rapunzel of Germany, and about the bigger world that they lived in.
So much more they have learned about themselves as well...
Unfortunately, Tarzan took everything he uncovered to his grave.
He engaged in a titanic battle, trying to protect Jane and his sisters... and he succumbing to his fatal injuries.
She was devastated, and so was Anna who cried while holding her little brother in her arms...
Jane had little left to return to after that. She learned from Mr Dumont that their part of the Forest was burned down by poachers and traffickers.
Many from their gorilla tribe were killed, and some moved to another far off area.
She felt extreme guilt, felt like she couldn't help anyone really.
All that and the death of her father Archimedes weighed heavily on her.
And so Jane returned back to England.
She then visited Liddell House, to see her old friend Alice. They were good friends... she could still remember how they celebrated Guy Fawkes Night together and especially their dreamscape adventures.
Alice was saddened to hear what happened and agreed to take her in for the time being.
The others learned of her arrival too.
Hazel, Greenly, and Eleanor came to visit and tried to comfort her. Dr Doyle also learned from Henry and it pained Jane to inform her about her father...
Their compassion was irreplaceable when she found out that she pregnant ...
She had Tarzan's 's child.
Her and Tarzan once talked about potentially children one day...
And they made at least one name Wendy 'Josephine' Porter.
The civilization around her in London felt different now compared to her past residence here, it felt far more depressing and dangerous and at such a time being a single mom wasn't something good or safe.
So a grieving Jane had to marry another man, someone who would accept her and her little girl.
And one man did accept them named George darling who married Jane and adopted Wendy under one condition:
That Jane changed her name and took her second name Mary.
Together they had two other kids John 'Napoleon' Darling and Michael 'Nicholas' Darling they all lived happily but deep down Jane and Wendy could never forget about Tarzan.
They remembered about him every time they looked at the stars in the nightly sky.
That was one of the reasons why Wendy initially had trouble accepting George as her father. Him mistreating Nana and also that Wendy was endorsing a local story about a boy in loincloths that could fly with Fairies...
Both she and her mother knew about... Peter Pan.
George didn't like hearing about it ever since he grew up.
But eventually, a few more miracles occurred from the skies that helped them form bonds as a family.
Years have passed and they held out together, especially since the situation in Europe was less than desirable... it was tearing itself apart. She was worried about Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Elsa... but she could do nothing but to prey for them.
They were glad to God almighty that they were still alive and their world is still here.
Eventually Wendy's mother died from bad sickness years down the line so did George.
Wendy got married to a soldier in the British army Edward.
John found his soulmate in Daphne Robin, and had two kids Darby and Christopher Robin...unfortunately , their father died shortly afterwards.
The same couldn't be said about Michael... He took a path of an exploration and butterfly blue lepidopterology like his grandparents, working with scientists like Dr. Martin Griffiths.
She haven't seen him for a while after he gone on his expedition until much later...
All of this happened after the death of their mother...
In her memory, Wendy named one of her children Jane.
Like her grandmother, young Jane didn't believe in any of worldly wonders... hardened by the war against the invading Nazi Luftwaffe.
But she too found faith in them after meeting peers like Elizabeth Griffiths, and especially after her own adventures amongst the stars...
And so the tale continues...
But that is an entirely different story.
This idea came to my mind once I saw YouTube vids of Rotem270691 "Peter Jane" and Fablesecrets "Who Are You Now". Then I watched SLOTHASTIC 's family tree vids.
And then there's the line in the movie from Professor Porter "Takes after her mother, you know. She came up with stories like that"...maybe a bit weak link but you still can make an argument there.
All in all this was awesome connection I built. I expected others to do it but oh well, let me be the first.
I advise to watch my other story "If you freeze, you won't leap"... if this one was about Tarzan Jane's grandchildren, that one is about Anna's offspring. Hope you'll like it, I'm gonna wrote more chapter of it soon.
This story is finished.
