Whitebeard sat out on deck, enjoying a good day. Most were dotting around and enjoying the day. They were in calm waters, so it was no issue. Marco was by his side as usual, also enjoying the day, and Ace was running around, which was also very normal. Things had been good and nice the last months, just calm. As he was just enjoying the day, Paul came up and said that a boat was coming towards them, and from what Paul remembered he believed, it was Trevor's boat. That had him smile. After his last visit, Ace had told more about Trevor. How much of an impact Trevor had had on his life, how much Ace liked him as an older brother and mentor, as he was older. Trevor was 29, and Ace was 20.

Ace often felt a lot of responsibility for his younger brother, Luffy, as Ace was older, but Trevor often helped when he could, took him on outings and made him forget his worries for a small bit. And as Trevor told about wanting to be a pirate and then he became one and set out at 18 and still visited Ace a lot, Ace's dream started to want to be a pirate too. Trevor had invited Ace on his boat, but Ace had declined as he wanted to set out with his own crew, so he could one day meet Trevor out on sea, and they could just be free together, and that sounded like Ace and Whitebeard and Marco was glad Ace had had Trevor in his life.

He said to allow the boat to dock with them, to not get battle ready. He also sent someone to get Ace, and say that Trevor was close, and after that, it didn't take long before Ace was out by his chair and looking happy to see Trevor again. When the other boat did dock, Trevor boarded the Moby and went over to Ace and grabbed a hand and dragged him a bit towards his boat by his hand. When they were almost at the plank, Trevor started to speak as he grabbed both of Ace's hands. "Ace, this needs to be witnessed by as many as possible, because this is huge." Ace blinked. "What is?" Whitebeard felt confused as well.

Trevor smiled more and spoke again. "Portgas D Ace, whom I have known for many many years, who was the light of my day for a long while, before I met Mika who also made me happy, but even then, you're special to me." Trevor then moved down on one knee, still holding Ace's hands. "You have been with me for long, helped me, and I have helped you. You are my best friend in this world, and therefore I love you." Whitebeard started to frown, same with Marco, as this looked very much like a proposal. Did Trevor's feelings change? He knew a few did when the one you were in love with suddenly got in a relationship and you realized you wanted that person. Would Trevor honestly propose to Ace now? On his boat? In front of him and Marco, who were Ace's lovers.

Ace had looked a bit confused, but now he looked more and more excited, as if he wanted this to happen, which had him more concerned. Did Ace want Trevor more than them? He could see all of his children who were out looking at Trevor and Ace with shock, sometimes looking at him and Marco. Trevor then moved a hand while the other held Ace's, as Trevor took something out of his pocket, which was a small case, before he spoke again, still holding Ace's hands with the other one. "You are so amazing, which is why I need you with me now. If it should not work out with Mika and I, I need you with me as there is one individual that will be more special to me than her, and you are important here." Trevor then let go of Ace's hand and moved the hand to be on the top of the case and opened it as he spoke. "Portgas D Ace, will you do me the absolute honors and-" The case was now open and Trevor moved a hand and took out what he was sure would be a ring, when instead he took out a small blue sock. "Be my first born child's Godfather?"

Ace looked utterly ecstatic now and gave a small scream as he hugged Trevor. "Yes! I want to be your child's Godfather! I will be the worst influence I can! He or she will swear and break all the rules you set!" Trevor nodded as he hugged back. "I know! Which is why we want you!" Trevor then moved and motioned to the boarding plank between them, where a woman was walking towards their boat. She had blue hair which was down to her shoulders, a white rose in her hair, light makeup, and a hand on her slightly large stomach, which was a sign she was pregnant, and he was sure this was Mika, Trevor's wife.

Ace then ran over to her and hugged her, which had her chuckle. "Trevor wanted to trick them into thinking he was proposing since they apparently thought Trevor was a previous lover that was coming back for you. But he knew you would get it as you've spoken about this." Ace nodded as he let go. "I know. And they are shell shocked now, but congratulations! How far along are you?!" Mika chuckled, moving to look at her belly as she stroked it. "I am almost 4 months along. If it keeps at this pace, I will be a walking whale in 3 months, who knows what I am in 5 months. But then again, my mother had such a huge belly they were sure it was triplets, but just me." Ace chuckled. "Well, you do like to have space. So this sounds right." Mika chuckled, before they hugged again.

Trevor then moved and looked at him and Marco. "I am not proposing to Ace, he is still the wrong gender. Pranks are kinda my thing, and I taught Ace how to do them." Whitebeard blinked, before he nodded. That did make sense. Trevor then chuckled. "I might be a bit insane at times, but I would never propose to the lover of the strongest man in the world on his boat right in front of him. If I did, I would have been dead." Whitebeard nodded as that was true. He then gave a smile to Trevor. "Congratulations, a child is a blessing." Trevor smiled. "I know, and you would know as you have so many children." Whitebeard nodded, that was true.

He then heard Mika speak. "Yeah, about that. Isn't the captain your sort of your father, Ace? And Marco you brother? What is this?" Ace hummed. "A very weird play of incest. But we are pirates, so who the Hell cares? And we are not related by blood, so this is completely allowed and okay." Mika chuckled. "Can you at least wait until my child is born before you start excessively swearing?" Ace hummed. "Nope. Haven't you heard they think a baby can hear what people outside the womb say? So I will swear as much as I fucking can!" Mika chuckled and smiled at Ace. "Which is why I love you as well. You have fun and play around. I don't want my child to grow up around just stoic people." Ace smiled at Mika. "Well, with Trevor as your husband and this child's father, and me as Godfather, you will never have to worry about that." Mika smiled. "I know. But as you also know, I never visit you without bearing gifts." Ace chuckled. "And I keep telling you that you don't need to bring me gifts!" Mika hummed. "I know, but I do not care. I like you. It is a special fruit."

Ace blinked. "If it is a Devil Fruit, I can not eat it, I have one." Mika nodded. "I know. This is from my home island. It is a fruit called Ønske Granateple, which translates to 'Wish Pomegranate'. It is said to grant your heart's wish. Might be just superstition, might work. Who knows." Ace smiled. "Your gifts always have a background story, and I love it." Mika smiled. "And I do bring those who have as I know you love it and I love you."

Ace smiled. "And now we need to celebrate! And no one pour Mika anything! She is pregnant with my Godchild!" Ace then blinked. "It is called my Godchild, right?" Mika chuckled. "Yes, yes it is. You will be a perfect Godfather." Ace smiled, and Whitebeard did as well. If Ace was happy, he was happy. They then prepared to party, prepared a feast.

Ace sat on the table and looked at Mika. "Any cravings? I can ask Thatch to make something?" Mika hummed. "No big ones. But as you know, I am a bit picky, and the more picky you are, the less weird cravings you have. The more food you like, the more cravings you have. A friend of my mom's, she wanted to eat pineapple on a burned pizza that had spinach that was marinated with honey." Ace blinked. "Huh, that is… weird and cool." Mika nodded. "Yes. My weirdest craving is simply ice cubes, and as you can see-" Mika showed her glass with soda that had ice cubes in it. "I have that here." Ace smiled. "That's good." Mika nodded, before she moved and took something out of her bag. "But now, time for your gift! You can share, as to get your wish granted, you need to take one teaspoon of this, and it is more than one teaspoon here." Ace nodded and said those at the table could if they wanted to. A few did.

Mika then took the pomegranate out of her bag and took a sharp knife and cut the top off, and it looked like a normal pomegranate on the inside. Mika then grabbed a teaspoon and filled it with the seeds of the pomegranate, before handing it to him. "Now, you close your eyes, you make your wish inside your mind, when you have, you put the spoon in your mouth, crush them with your tongue on the top of your hard palate, and then swallow as you feel the juices." Ace nodded and looked at the spoon as he tried to think of a wish. Mika gave a few to others, which was Thatch, Claus, and Haruta. They were faster than him and when they were done, Thatch asked what they wished for. Claus said he wanted to be happy here forever, Haruta wished that she could become stronger, and Thatch that he wanted to get a new kitchen.

Ace didn't know what to wish, before he did, and closed his eyes, before he made his wish 'I want to be a happy family with my lovers', then he took the spoon in his mouth, crushed the seeds until the juices came, then he swallowed. It was a bit odd, as it didn't taste like a normal pomegranate, it wasn't as sweet and bitter, but more like… earthy taste with a hint of honey. When he swallowed, he opened his eyes, and everyone looked at him, Thatch speaking. "What did you wish for?" Ace blinked, before he shrugged. "That I keep being happy like this." Everyone smiled, before he looked at Mika. "It didn't taste like a pomegranate, why was that?" Thatch nodded. "Yeah, that was odd. It was like strawberries and watermelon." Claus blinked. "No, it was chocolate and sweet potato." Haruta blinked as well. "Did we eat the same? It was caramel and tomato!" Ace blinked. Why did they all taste something different? Mika hummed. "One of the reasons this is a wish fruit, it never tastes the same for anyone. If it tastes like a pomegranate, it is a sign your wish will not be granted. It is said this fruit is made by Mother Earth herself, so each seed is something different." That had him blink, that was cool. The others seemed to think the same. And who knows, placebo was a thing he knew, so maybe all the wishes granted was just because of that.

They then enjoyed the feast, having fun. Ace always loved to be around Trevor and Mika, they were so awesome. This was a perfect feast. Not only with his family and lovers, but with Trevor and Mika as well, and Mika was pregnant and Ace would be the Godfather. Yes, this was perfect.

It was three months later that Ace gave a groan as he felt himself waking up, feeling… nauseous. Which was odd. He very rarely did, and he hadn't even been drinking last night. As he turned to try and get comfortable in bed, lying between Marco and Whitebeard, his stomach churned more, which had Ace suddenly sit up, hand over his mouth, before he moved over Marco and ran to a trashcan and threw up.

As he was, he soon felt a hand come to his back for comfort, and based on the size, it was Marco's, and Whitebeard's was soon after, giving out words of reassurance. When Ace stopped and tried to get his breath back, Marco spoke. "Ace, are you ok-" Marco didn't get to finish as Ace's stomach churned again and he threw up again. When he had, he felt awful. He then looked at the trashcan and saw it was normal puke, which was good, but also made him more nauseous, so he turned away as he moved a hand to his chest. He felt like he had heartburn as well.

Whitebeard spoke then. "Ace? What is going on? Are you sick?" Ace shook his head. "I- I don't know. I just woke up feeling so nauseous, and now it feels like I have heartburn? I feel awful." Ace looked at his lovers and they looked worried, before Marco stood up. "We're going to the infirmary, yoi." Ace nodded, he agreed. He felt so bad.

When they got there, Ace puked again and Bay looked worried as well. Her first thought that was the ulcers had come back, but that wasn't the case. Bay then ran a lot of tests, but nothing really worked. So Ace spent the next day in the infirmary, but it helped nothing. Ace felt awful, he was nauseous almost all the time. When a week of it had passed, he felt a bit better, but still had bouts of nausea and puking. That, and he had started to crave certain foods, which Thatch had no issues helping make as Ace was sick and feeling sick. Thatch had also got a new kitchen because of a fire that happened, which no one got how happened. The next week went slow as Ace felt horrible, he also had times he just felt… mad or sad, for no real reason. But what had also happened, was that his fruit had just… stopped working. When he found it out, he panicked, and Bay was lost as well. Ace hated it, and wanted to be well again. He just felt himself going more and more sick.

Marco felt worried as Ace was still sick, as he had been for over 2 weeks now, and Bay found nothing. And now his fruit was gone? He was no longer fire, and he didn't act like himself either. Bay looked confused as well, before she drew more blood, taking 4 containers this time, and when she had, she looked at them. "I am doing some more tests and doing some again. And I will send some blood to someone I know who has more equipment to check what it might be based on his blood." Marco nodded, that sounded good. As Bay left to prepare that, he moved to hold Ace's hand, who still looked green. He didn't know what was going on, and he didn't like it. Ace was rarely sick, which was because of his fruit, no virus or infection had any chance in his body, he was too warm. Or, now he wasn't warm anymore, and Marco was so utterly worried same with Whitebeard. There had to be something wrong, and they needed to figure out what. But since Ace's fruit stopped working, Ace had gotten more and more sick, which had his worry so high. What if he had something fatal? He hoped Bay would find out something soon.

Bay moved to answer her Den Den as it rang. She had one in her office which was connected to her friend, Cioup, which she had been working with for many years, who taught her a lot. She was excellent at her job. This had to be about Ace's blood tests she had sent last week. It had to be something she could find out fast as based on how long it took to deliver, the blood should have been delivered yesterday, and that could be both good and bad. Good since it might be something simple, bad since he felt it was something bad and tested that.

She answered the Den Den, and Cioup asked if the patient was still sick, which she nodded to. "Yes. Do you know what it might be? It has lasted for a while now and it makes no sense. The Devil Fruit to this person also stopped working last week, and since then, it has only gotten worse." The Den Den nodded. "Which makes sense. This will last about 5 more months." Bay blinked. "What is it? How do you know that long?" The Den Den hummed. "Based on the symptoms and what my blood test said. I also think you labeled the test wrong. You said it was to a 20 year old male." Bay nodded. "It is to a 20 year old male." The Den Den blinked. "No, that can't be, Bay." Bay blinked. "Why not? What am I missing?" The Den Den hummed. "I always run standard tests, you know this. So this can't be a male." Bay blinked. "What is it? No sickness I know of chooses based on gender, Cioup." The Den Den nodded. "Yes, and the patient is not sick. Or not sick sick, more of that many calls a parasite growing in them for fun. Bay, your patient is pregnant. And there is no doubt based on the result I got, she is about 4 months along."

Bay blinked, feeling shocked, before she stood up. "Don't hang up." She then grabbed a blood sample from the fridge, grabbed a quick test she had, which she used often as it just needed one drop of blood. She also had the usual sticks you peed on, which was not monitored as everyone could grab it, this one was to make sure. She then put a drop into the test place, and waited for the result, which would take about 5 minutes. But as the test absorbed the blood and started to show the result, she blinked as it had gone just 30 seconds, even if that. It was already positive. She knew some male cancers could show a positive pregnancy test. But if it was that, it wouldn't be this positive. She grabbed two more different blood samples and did the same with a test, and they were all equally positive.

She felt shocked and looked at the Den Den. "The test I just took now shows the patient is pregnant, this is not a false positive as those are usually not this positive." The Den Den nodded. "Which is the result I got as well. I think you labeled the wrong gender, Bay. Which doesn't sound like you." Bay shook her head. "Cioup, the only blood I have taken the last weeks, is this patient's. I have taken multiple blood draws, labeled them all the same, and I just used 3 different blood samples. Cioup, the patient of this blood is Portgas D Ace, who is a hundred percent a male. And no, he is not even a hermaphroditism. I am sure. This makes absolutely no sense. How can a man be pregnant?"

The Den Den frowned. "I don't know. If my test was right, she- he is around 4 months along. You have an ultrasound machine, right?" Bay nodded, before she got what Cioup meant, but Cioup still said it. "If he is pregnant and 4 months along, you can see it on a stomach ultrasound. If it is negative, send me a bit more blood. As I need more. If it is positive, send a lot more blood, as that is impossible." Bay nodded. "I know, and I will check. I will get him now, and you will be on a line and I will get the video Den Den so you can see what I see as well." Cioup nodded. "I would like that. This makes no sense, but also makes so much sense. A pregnancy disables the Devil Fruit around 3-4 months along, to not harm the baby. The person is nauseous, the person has heartburn." Bay nodded. "Had this been a woman, I would have been sure it was pregnancy." The Den Den nodded and agreed.

Bay then went and sent a nurse to get Ace now. When Ace came a bit later, Marco was in tow and said Whitebeard was busy, which was fine. When Marco asked what she needed, Bay motioned for a bed. "Please lay down, try and relax, and I will get a few things." Ace nodded and tried to ask what she was looking for, but Bay said she just needed to do a quick check. Ace seemed to accept this, but not Marco, who looked worried. Marco knew she never was secretively, but this made no sense.

Bay then got the ultrasound machine, and set up the Den Den with video for Cioup, and got the Den Den Cioup was on, before she went out to Ace's bed. "Commander Ace and Marco, this is Cioup, she will help me check the result." Cioup said hello, and Marco looked even more worried. "Bay, what is going on, yoi?" Bay looked at Marco. "I need to figure out a confusing test result we got. What this test say, will answer a lot." Marco nodded, looking worried, and grabbed Ace's hand. "Should we be worried, yoi?" Bay was on her way to speak, when the Den Den did. "Not yet. Do not worry, this is to confirm something." Marco nodded, but still looked worried.

Bay then set it all up and asked if Cioup could see the ultrasound screen on her end, which she could, and Bay put the gel on Ace's stomach, before she took a breath and wasn't sure what to expect. She then started the ultrasound and moved it around, and Cioup said to go a bit lower and to the left, which she did, before she felt herself shocked as all her breath left her, before she spoke as she still looked at the screen. "Cioup, are you seeing this? Am I hallucinating? Is this a dream maybe?" The Den Den sounded shocked as well as it spoke. "If you are hallucinating, I am as well, and we are not remotely close in person or have been in a while. If this is a dream, I am dreaming the same. Read the lower numbers, look away, and read it again. If it is the same, you are awake." Bay nodded and did, and when she looked back, still the same numbers. Bay nodded to herself. "The number is the same. I am awake, and most likely not hallucinating. And you confirm we are seeing the same, right?"

The Den Den nodded. "Yes, an- Oh my God! Move a bit to the side! The left!" Bay blinked and did, before she had no idea what to even think, before she spoke without thinking. "There are two of them." The Den Den nodded. "Yes. And based on the size, I am right at what I said." Marco spoke, sounding worried. "What are there two off? Is it cysts or a parasite, yoi? Do we need surgery?" Cioup spoke first. "Well, many do call this a parasite. And you can remove it if you want to, which some do, but not most. But still, this does not make sense as this is a male." Marco blinked. "The parasite is a male?" Cioup spoke. "No, too early to tell. But the patient is a male." Marco looked worried. "What is it, yoi? Are there any parasites that are not common in males? What parasite is it? How long will it bother Ace?" Cioup spoke. "It will brood inside his body for about 5 more months, before it will leech off you for a long while more." Marco looked confused, and Bay finally found her voice and mind as she moved the screen so Marco could see it, as she knew Marco had seen this before. "Commander Marco, Commander Ace is pregnant with twins."

Marco looked confused, before he saw the screen and saw the two very distinguished fetuses, and Marco looked to be on his way to speak, before he promptly passed out. Bay looked at Ace. "Will you pass out as well?" Ace looked at her. "I am sitting, that helps. I am a man, Bay! Is this a joke?" Bay shook her head. "I wish, but no, this is legit. I can not fake a live ultrasound image." Ace blinked, seeming shocked, before he leaned to the side, the side not towards her, and threw up.

Bay nodded. "This looks right. One passed out, one puking." Cioup chuckled. "Well, seeing how the one pregnant with twins is a male, that is very appropriate." Bay nodded. "Guess how the last person in this relationship will react." Bay nodded to herself. "That will be fun." Cioup gave an Ooo. "A triangle relationship? That is always interesting when there is a pregnancy. Just one is the father. Or in this case, two, not three." Bay blinked. "Huh, you're right. This will be fun." Bay looked at the Den Den. "You available for a bit? I think you want to hear how this goes when I tell Pops." Cioup gasped. "He is the last lover! I am canceling my plans as we speak!" Bay chuckled, before she told someone to get Pops, while she also grabbed something to help Ace feel less nauseous and to puke in. Marco was also helped to a bed so he could come around.

It was about 5 minutes later that Pops came into the infirmary, looking worried when he saw Marco unconscious in a bed, Ace in a bed next to him, a sickbag with him to puke in, and a hand on his face with a cold cloth to keep calm. The puke by him on the floor was currently being cleaned. As Pops got close, he checked on Marco and Ace, Marco was still unconscious, and Ace just muttered something about this being a dream. Pops looked at her. "Did you figure out what is wrong with Ace?" Bay nodded. "Yes. You should sit down. You also passing out will be more noisy than Commander Marco." Pops blinked and looked worried as he sat down. "Your test results made Marco pass out? Is Ace dying?" Pops looking extremely worried.

Bay was on her way to speak, when Cioup, who was still on the Den Den, did. "No, not dying as much as his life being sucked out of him bit by bit by a pair of parasites." Pops blinked. "He got parasites? Can you remove them?" Cioup hummed. "We can, but most come to love them when they come out. Cares for them for years and years, until they die, and the cycle repeats itself. Many call this a blessing, or a curse." Pops looked confused. "Why wouldn't people want to remove parasites? They are making him sick!" Cioup spoke. "And yet, many wish for this kind of parasite, and do all they can to get them." Pops looked more confused and shocked, and Bay chuckled. "Cioup, I love your sense of humor and how you speak, but let me take over, okay?" The Den Den nodded. "I am okay with that."

Bay nodded and looked at Pops. "Ace will be okay." Pops blinked. "You can remove the parasites?" Bay hummed. "If you all wish, yes. But, it is not a parasite parasite." Pops blinked. "What is it then? A virus?" Bay shook her head. "No good way to do this as it doesn't make sense, and I promise I will do more tests with Cioup as this is impossible. But what we have done proves it is all true. Not only blood, but ultrasound with a very good image of it." Bay looked at Pops. "Pops, Ace is pregnant." Pops blinked. "Bay, Ace is a male. How can he be pregnant with a baby?" Bay shook her head a bit. "I am not sure. But he is. That is why Ace is shocked and overwhelmed, and why Marco is passed out. And this all adds up. Being sick; morning sickness. Being moody; hormones. No Devil Fruit; the body disables it when the pregnant one is about 3 to 4 months along. And this-" Bay moved to show the ultrasound machine which still had the image of the ultrasound. "Is the ultrasound. It was taken live, it can't be faked live. And Commander Marco has seen an ultrasound before where the female is pregnant, and that is why he is out of commission. Pops, Commander Ace is pregnant."

Pops blinked. "Ace has a baby inside him? How?" Bay took a breath. "Not sure on how, and he doesn't have a baby in him." Pops blinked. "But you said he was pregnant?" Bay nodded and moved to show the ultrasound and pointed. "There isn't one fetus, there are two. Commander Ace is pregnant with twins." Pops blinked. "Can you repeat that?" Bay nodded. "Commander Ace is pregnant with twins. Also Cioup, someone I have worked with for a long while, can confirm. She could see the ultrasound live and tested some blood." The Den Den nodded. "The patient is pregnant with twins. Mazel tov!" Pops looked shocked. "How sure are you?" Bay and Cioup spoke at the same time. "100%" Pops looked shocked, before he just started to laugh.

As he still laughed a minute later, Bay spoke to Cioup. "One passed out, one puked and in shock, and laughing like a maniac." Cioup hummed. "Well, you got a pregnant man, who is pregnant with twins." Bay nodded. "Very true." Then Pops stopped laughing. "I was sure I would never get blood children, that's why I have all of you." Bay hummed. "Well, here we are." Pops nodded. "Apparently. This will be a lot for everyone." It would be.

Then they prepared on how to tell, so they would tell everyone during dinner today, which was in 3 hours. Marco also woke up half an hour later, sure he had had a dream, but when he found out Ace was really pregnant, Marco looked shocked, before he just hugged Ace, before Pops also joined in on the hug, Ace still looking shocked. As they hugged, Ace spike. "Wait wait. How long will i be pregnant for?" Bay hummed. "5 more months." Ace blinked. "So I will feel like this for 5 more months? How does a woman do this!" Bay smiled a sly smile. "Easy, we are stronger." The Den Den nodded as well as Cioup spoke. "We are. Much stronger." Ace shook his head as he gave a breath. "I walked into that one." Bay nodded. "You did. Now, rules! No drinking! No being around smoke! No dangerous things! No raw meat! No raw anything that needs to be cooked!" Bay went on and on, and Ace looked more and more defeated as she went. When she was done, Ace looked defeated. "I need to follow all that?" Bay nodded "Yes. But on the bright side, everyone will be kind to you as you are carrying their niece/nephew/sister/brother. This is confusing." Ace laughed, and it was good to see him laugh.

Then the day went on, and when they told everyone, no one really seemed to believe them, but with some pictures of the ultrasound, everyone started to believe it. When someone asked why Ace hadn't started to show, Bay said not everyone shows early, and some suddenly show fast as the stomach grows overnight almost. And the fact Ace now knows, and a baby bump could be created mentally. So when two weeks passed, they weren't surprised to see a baby bump forming quickly, and Ace's cravings got worse and worse, to a point he craved odd stuff like chalk, burnt food, plain salt, and a lot more. Ace also said he would like Trevor to drop by again, and Pops had no issues calling him, but not telling why. Ace was stressed, and Bay didn't blame him.

Whitebeard sat out on deck, glad to see Trevor's ship heading towards them. Ace wasn't feeling sick anymore, and when he did, it was rare. But he had such odd cravings and moods. Ace had almost bitten Marco's head off the other day since he breathed, and in Ace's mind, he was still right as in that second, Marco shouldn't have breathed. When Trevor and Mika came onto the ship, Mika had a huge belly, but she was closing in on her due date now. Trevor looked at him, and the way Ace sat, with a blanket, it was hard to see he was pregnant. "Why are we here? Anything up? Mika is about to explode." Mika hit Trevor over the head. "I am not a beached whale!" Trevor looked at her. "I didn't say that!" Mika looked at him. "You thought it!" Trevor held his hands up. "I honeslty didn't!" Mika huffed, but let it go.

Ace decided then to stand up and remove the blanket, and when Mika and Trevor saw the belly, looking shcoked, Ace spoke. "I am pregnant. With twins." Trevor blinked. "Wait, what?" Ace nodded. "I don't know how, but I am. Help me understand this." Trevor blinked, seeming confused, when Mika spoke. "How far along are you?" Ace blinked. "5 months it looks like." Mika nodded. "Make sense." Trevor looked at his wife. "Why does that make sense? What do you know? Are you responsible for this?" Mika hummed. "I might be. Ace, when I gave you the wish fruit, what did you wish for?" Ace blinked. "To keep being happy." Mika shook her head. "No. What was the exact phrasing?" Ace blinked and seemed to try and think. "I think it was 'I want to be a happy family with my lovers'. You know, keep being that." Mika nodded. "Do any of you know the story about King Midas?" A few nodded, one of witch was Marco. "Yes, yoi. He wished that everything he touched would turn to gold so he could be rich. He got his wish granted, but everything did turn to gold, and you can't eat gold, so he starved to death."

Mika nodded. "Yes. Phrasing is important with wishes. As the more leeway a wish has, it can turn into a curse. A 'normal' happy family includes a child or two. So, you wished to be a happy family, and according to the wish, you will be soon as you soon have a child. A normal perfect family has two children, but there are limits as you get one wish." Ace blinked. "I… I am pregnant with twins." Mika nodded and looked at Trevor. "Honey, I made your best friend, who is a male, pregnant with twins. Fear me." Trevor moved over and hugged his wife. "We will rule the world together! Your witch abilities and my good looks! We will be the new king and queen of the world!" Trevor then gave a chuckle. "But still, this is very odd. Did you really make Ace pregnant with twins?" Mika hummed. "Not just me. He wished for it. Or he didn't, but the wish fruit wanted to grant his wish, and this was what it did." Trevor nodded. "You are a witch."

Trevor then looked at Ace. "You moody? You got cravings? You got morning sickness?" Ace nodded. "The worst of the morning sickness has passed, I still feel nauseous and puke now and then, but mostly gone. A bit moody. And I crave the oddest things." Trevor nodded. "You eat everything edible and more, what do you crave? Like right now." Ace nodded. "Chalk." Trevor blinked. "Excuse me?" Ace nodded again. "Chalk. You know, chalk. The thing you can use to write with." Trevor nodded. "I got some on my boat, want a taste?" Ace nodded and walked up to Trevor. "Yes." Then the two headed on Trevor's boat.

As they were gone, they looked at Mika, Whitebeard speaking. "That fruit actually granted wishes? No other wish has been granted." That was true. But before Mika could answer, Haruta spoke. "I got… more endurance. I wished to get stronger." Mika nodded. "Endurance is strength." That was true. Claus then spoke. "I got promoted to deal with the communication room, a vital task that is always needed. I wished I could stay here forever." Mika nodded. "Harder to make you leave or you want to leave as you have a vital responsibility." Everyone looked at Thatch, who looked shocked. "I wished for a new kitchen, there was a fire and we needed to buy new equipment…" Mika nodded. "Again, a wish can turn to a curse."

Marco looked at Mika. "You knew it was true, yoi? The wish fruit? That it would grant wishes?" Mika hummed. "Kind of yes. At times, it does not work. A few wishes turn to curses. Like someone who wished she could stay with their husband and that he would need her forever and never leave her. He suddenly became paralyzed from the waist down in a freak accident and now always needs care from her. She ended up divorcing him as he got needy. And a few more wishes that were granted that defied rules. Like someone who lived up on a mountain, all rocks and no real earth, wished for flowers. It started to grow in the stone. And it can apparently make males pregnant."

Trevor and Ace now came out, Ace having a small bowl with chalk, and Mika looked at him. "Why chalk?" Ace shrugged as he took a piece. "I don't know. But everything about it just perfect. And I don't think they know how much I have eaten the chalk here, so we need more soon, but it is so perfect." Mika chuckled. "Well, you like everything. I don't. And, when you hit 6 months, it will get worse." Thatch groaned with that. "Worse! How!" Mika chuckled "You just wait and see." Thatch looked horror stricken now, and Whitebeard was excited for this as well. He hoped it would all go fine. Mika did ask to stay, as Bay was an excellent doctor and she was due anytime now, and that was fine by him. And now, they could help her so they knew more on how to help Ace.
