Ash watches as the boy who had shouted ran up to the scarlet Pokemon, gritting his teeth in anger. Ash and Nemona stared in shock and confusion as the boy just stood there, glaring at the Pokémon before looking at each other. "I'm not talking to you two. You can shove off,"

Nemona blinks, mouth dropping in shock before she frowns, "Wait, I know you," she bumps her fist together, "You're Arven right? Arven Sada, the son of Professor Sada? You're enrolled in the Humanities track, right?"

Ash takes a step closer to Nemona at the information that this boy was the son of a Pokémon Professor. After what happened with Gary…. But the boy growls at this, turning towards Nemona, "It doesn't matter who my mom is," he snapped before turning his head towards the scarlet Pokemon who ignored him, sniffing at the window of the lighthouse, "The real issue is what in the world is this Pokémon doing out here? And what is with this form he's in!?"

Swallowing, Ash step up, "I met it at the bottom of a cliff… after chasing some Houndours away, I noticed it was hurt," she pointed at the bandages wrapped around the Pokémon's shoulder, "so after I gave them a Potion and the sandwich my mom made and he perk up!"

"Yeah we heard this strange cry," Nemona explained, "which I guess came from this big fellow. But Ash fell down the cliff, and so they had to go through the grotto to get back up. Then this huge Houndoom corner them but this fellow was able to fight it off. Though," she tilts her head, "he seems to have wore himself out in the process. He got kinda… droopy," but then Nemona smiles, a fire lit in her orange eyes, "but you should have seen him before! It was awesome! Unbelievably strong. Is he yours? We should definitely have a battle!"

Arven sighs, rolling his eyes, "He's not mine, he belongs to my…. Mom," he shakes his head, turning to the Pokémon who was judging the window of the lighthouse, "but yeah it's strong. As he should be. But he can't fight like this. The form Koraidon takes in battle is his true form,"

"Koraidon? That's his name?" Ash asked making the boy nod his head as his shoulders slump.

"Yeah and he is a major pain in my-" he blinks turning towards Ash as he falters, "butt,"

Ash blinks at him in confusion, while Nemona snorts, hiding her smile under her hand. Growling at her, Arven pulls out a Pokeball, "But this does explain why I had this delivered to me a couple of days ago," he mutters before aiming the Pokeball at Koraidon, "Return!"

As the beam of light headed towards Koraidon, the mon just moves slightly to the left, just out of the way for the beam to hit the window. Growling Arven tries again, but Koraidon takes a step to the left, once more dodging the beam. Ash and Nemona had to hold back the urge to laugh as Koraidon looked over his shoulder, with a deadpan look on his face at Arven, "I said return!" The older boy growls thrusting his arm out. This time, Koraidon jumps out of the way, crouching down and wagging his tail. "I'm not playing games you brute!" He throws the ball, but Koraidon brought his tail up and quickly slap it back. Arven yelps as the Pokeball slams into his face.

Nemona couldn't hold it in anymore and burst out laugh, holding her stomach as she wheezes. Ash giggles but picks up the Pokeball after it fell to the ground. "Koraidon?" The dragon looks up, blinking his yellow eyes at her, "Can you please return to your Pokeball? It will stop the pain your feeling," and Ash had to smile when Koraidon looked sheepishly at her, "and it will allow Nurse Joy to be able to heal you when we get to the Pokémon Center," she held out the ball towards him, "Please?"

Arven scoffs as he rubs his face in pain, rubbing the red mark that was formed by the Pokeball. "He isn't going to do-" his jaw drops as Koraidon give him a smirk before gently touches the button, returning inside the Pokeball, "what? How?! He never listens!"

Ash frowns, "I just asked nicely!" She crosses her arms, "maybe if you didn't yell at him or try to throw it in his face he would have listened to you,"

Arven flinches and takes a step back, holding up his hands in surrender, "I don't remember ever seeing you around," he mutters, trying to change the subject, "but given you got the uniform, you go to the academy too,"

"That's right," Nemona smiles, placing a hand on Ash's shoulder while Apollo growls softly at Arven, giving him a little glare. "This is Ash, she came from Pallet town in the Kanto Region. She a new student at the Academy and starting in my year,"

Arven blinks at this but nods his head, "Koraidon isn't the sort of Pokémon that any old trainer can hope to command," he crosses his arms, "the fact that it listen to you is…. Astounding,"

"What sort of Pokémon is Koraidon," Nemona asked, but Arven shakes his head.

"Ash I want to have a battle with you," Ash blinks at this, staring with wide eyes at Arven. The older boy smirks, "if you think your up to ordering Koraidon around, I need to test your worthiness, so how about it,"

Ash grins, bringing her hands up and curling them into fists, a wide smile on her face, "Yes!" She screams out, jumping up and down and making Arven take a step back, "I would love to have a battle!"

"Oh great," Arven mutters, looking between Nemona and Ash, before he shakes his head, "though look at you, quite the go getter," he pulls a shiny Pokeball, one that seem to have just been bought from the Pokemart, "I've been feeling all out of sorts, so I'm hoping that this battle can blast these doldrums away,"

And with that he throws the Pokeball into the air, it cracking open to let out a Skwovet, that yawned once it was released. The grayish-brown scratching at its ear, looking as it would like to be anywhere else but here. Frowning, Ash nodded her head to Apollo, the croc waddling to stand in front of her.

Arven slaps his hands agaisnt the sides of his face, taking a deep breath, "These memories are leaving a bad taste in my mouth, and I want it gone! Skwovet, use Bite, but try to get away from it before it can use Ember,"

The Skwovet sighs, before it started to run. Ash frowns a bit. The Skwovet looked like it didn't want to fight at all, but staring at those sharp teeth, she knew they would hurt, "Evade it, and then hit it with an Ember!" Apollo growls, ducking down just as Skwovet leaps at him. He turns quickly, opening his mouth wide to spat the small fireballs at the squirrel.

Skwovet cries out when they hit his back, burning his fur and the skin underneath. He chitters angrily, lunging once more. Apollo screeches, not able to back away in time as sharp teeth bite into his neck. He thrashed about, trying to throw the Skwovet off of him, but the squirrel had a good grip on him. Ash bites at her lip, before she calls out, "Flip onto your back!"

Apollo heard thankfully, and rolled over. Skwovet grunted as the breath was knocked out of him as he was squished underneath Apollo, allowing the Fuecoco to wiggle free. Pushing himself to his feet, Apollo growls before opening his jaw wide releasing a high pitch roar that released green musical notes which once they hit Skwovet in the belly sent him flying. Ash held her breath a bit as Arven's Pokemon landing with a thump, but she releases a sigh as Skwovet didn't get up. His eyes were now swirls signfying that he had fainted.

Arven sighs, holding up his Pokeball to return Skwovet, "I guess I wasn't going to stand a chance using a Pokemon I'd only caught," he runs a hand through his hair, staring at Ash, "But if you really think you can take Koraidon off my hands...then you can keep him,"

"Huh?" Ash blinks up at him, but she then yelps as he turns around and ran off, "Hey!?"

"The brute's your problem now, not mine!" he calls out, not looking back, "Good luck!"

Ash stares with wide eyes, before looking down at the Pokeball that held Koraidon, "So...does this mean I now have two Pokemon?" she turns to Nemona who shakes her head.

"Not officially. Whoever owns the Pokeball originally stills owns him, since its lock to their trainer ID," Nemona frowns though, crossing her arms, "Still… I wonder why Arven had Koraidon's Pokeball…" she shrugs, shaking her head, "It doesn't matter...but he better actually show up for school," she mutters before smiling at Ash, "But forget about him for now, we got to climb the lighthouse! I can't wait to show you the view of the school,"

Ash yelps as Nemona grabs her by the wrist, and began to pull her up towards the stairs. When they reached the top, Ash couldn't help but drop her mouth, staring at the amazing view, "Amazing right?" Nemona smiles, leaning against the rail, "and look Ash! That's Mesagoza!" she gestures to what looked like a vast kingdom off in the distance, with a huge castle being the most seeable, "That huge building with the Pokeball on top is our school. Its going to be so great having you in the same class, Ash,"

"Yeah," Ash whispers, holding Apollo to her chest, "But all that schoolwork,"

Nemona barks out a laugh, shoulders shaking, "Just don't think about it...but honestly, I can't to get back...we're going to learn so much...and battle," she spreads his arms wide, "we're going to battle so much. And once the Treasure Hunts starts, you can experience all of Paldea!" Ash blinks at that, tilting her head in confusion, "Mountains, forests, grasslands. Beautiful nature stuff that is filled with Pokemon that are just waiting for you! Consider this me officially telling you: Welcome to Paldea,"

Ash grins watching as Nemona turns her gaze towards Mesagoza, "But we better get going if we want to get to the school before it gets dark. As you can see, its kinda of a hike to get to school from here,"Ash nodded her head at that, looking over her shoulder to Mesagoza and could see the long trail ahead. But she grinned, holding Apollo close to her and follow Nemona down the flight of stairs.

The trip to Mesagoza was a bit uneventful. They first had to pass through the small town of Los Platos, to go up the trail towards the city gates. The only problem is tbat, once they reached their, a whole bunch of little kids crowded around Nemona, all but begging her for a Pokémon Battle. It made Ash smile a bit, looking wishfully at the scene. The younger girl wished that the trainers that Professor Oak sponsor was like Nemona, gentle and patient. Kind enough to play along with the little kids who dream of big dreams, but they usually snap and yelled, telling them all to get their sticky fingers away from their Pokémon. That they have better things to do than okay pretend with a bunch of brats.

Watching as Nemon has Masquerade use Leafage against a Fletchling, that Ash almost miss the small "Whomp," that squeak behind her. Spinning around, she couldn't help but blink at the sight of what look like a Wooper to her. But instead of having blue skin, this was had a brown coloration with two pair of purple gills branching out of its head, shaped like bones. Tilting its head up to look at Ash, it blinks its beady brown eyes before turning around and waddling over to a small pond.

"Hey!" Ash cried out, before following after. Her eyes zone in as the Wooper jumps into the pond, happily swimming around before turning around to face her. Ash was paying so much attention to it, that she wasn't paying attention to where she was walking, and slips on the muddy ground. Crying out as she almost falls into the pond, the sound of a Pokeball opening up echo in her ears before she was suddenly grabbed by her backpack. Blinking, Ash looks up to see Koraidon, who was gently biting her backpack, before gently pulling her up away from the water, "Thanks Koraidon," she giggles when the mon set her down, looking at her with his yellow eyes. Huffing he shakes his head but sits down beside her, keeping his eyes on her. Tilting her head at this, confuse on what he was doing, she cries out when a bunch of mud hits her face. Groaning, Ash turns her head as she wipes the mud off her face to see the Wooper that she had been chases standing next to her feet, a big smile on its face before it knocks its head into her ankle.

Smiling wide, Ash bends down, "Hi Wooper," she spoke gently, to not scare the Pokemon off, "I saw that you came up to me," the funny looking Wooper nodded its head, "Does that mean you want to be my Pokemon?" Ash questioned, but Wooper tilted his head at that. Holding up Apollo's Pokeball, who she had returned after they came down from the lighthouse, she shows it to Wooper, "I'm a Pokemon trainer, which means I train Pokemon to become stronger," at this, Wooper's eyes lit up and Ash couldn't help but smile. Seems even Wooper was like any other Pokemon, wanting to become stronger, "And well...one day I want to try for the Indigo League, I'll get more on that later," Ash quickly said, realizing her rambling was making Wooper confuse, "So...I was wondering...would you like to be my Pokemon?"

Ash fidgest under the blank stare of Wooper before they began to jump up and down. Laughing, Ash pulls out one of the empty Pokeballs Nemona gave to her and gently presses it against his head. Smiling as the ground type turns into a white light that was sucked into the Pokeball. Grinning more when it didn't even twitch instead sparkles lit up, signfying its capture. Ash cries out holding the ball into the air...or at least she was before she once more slipped on the mud and Koraidon had to grabbed her.

"I got my first Pokemon!" Ash proclaimed in glee, even as Koraidon set her down again, this time away from the mud so she wouldn't slip. Bouncing on her feet, Ash pulls out her Rotomphone, pulling up the Dex app to look up Wooper's info.

Wooper, Paldean form, the Poison Fish Pokemon- After losing a territoral struggle, Wooper began living on land in muddy fields. The Pokemon changed over time, developing a poisonous film to protect its body from drying out.

This Wooper is female and knows the moves: Mud Shot and Tail Whip. Its ability is Water Asorb, which makes that, when its hit with a Water-Type Movie, the Pokemon has its HP restored instead of taking damage

"Poison?" Ash mutters, "I thought Wooper was a water and ground type,"

"In Paldea its a poison and ground type," turning her head, Ash sees Nemona walking over to her, a giant grin on her face, "I see that you caught a Pokemon huh?! That's great!" she slaps Ash's on the back, making her smile, "And yeah, some Pokemon that you are familiar with have a different form in other regions. Like in Alola Meowths and Persians are dark types, while in Galar their steel types," Ash's eyes lit up at this information, "But we really should start heading off to Mesagoza now," Nemona chuckles nervously, rubbing the back of her neck, "I don't think the Director would be too happy with me if I get you to the school after curfew,"

Ash nodded her head in agreement at this, attaching Wooper's Pokeball onto her belt beside's Apollo and returning Koraidon, before doing the same, though she place it on the other side. "I don't think Koraidon will like it if I try to use him in a battle," she though, thinking of his wounded shoulder as she follows Nemona up the trail that led to Mesagoza from Los Platos. When the sun had started to slowly set, Neomana broke off into a run, and Ash quickly followed behind without complaint. The pass many people, most of them wearing the same uniform, though some a different version as the two girls. But soon Ash was staring with wide eyes as they past through the very large gates.

"If we had time, I would sure battle some of those trainers we past on the hill," Neoman complains, "Our Pokemon would have definetly gotten stronger...and then we could have a fruitful battle to see how much stronger you have gotten," Nemona proclaimed, before she spread her arms, "But I guess we can do that later...for now Mesagoza is waiting just past this gate. At last, the city were our school is!"

Ash stares with wide eyes at the sigh of Mesagoza, filled to the brim with all sorts of stores, like the Delibird Presents, Chansey Supply, to clothing stores, though to Ash a store that just sold socks was a bit silly. But besides the stores, there were so many resurants, Barato's, Every Wich Way, Go-For-Broke Grill and Seabreeze Cafe. Besides them there were many vending carts, the owners calling out for many to try their food. Ash was so busy staring around that Nemona had to grab her to move her out of the way as a person, riding on a Cyclizar ran by her, almost running her over. But all Ash could do was laugh, smiling wide.

Nemona couldn't help the wide grin on her face, "All right, here we all. We finally reach it, huh," Ash nodded her head, turning around in a circle, "This is Mesagoza, the biggest city in Paldea. Its been a big trade hub since a long time ago, even during the times of the Empire's Reign. Lots of folks come here to learn about advances in technology and all kinds of other stuff. This place is not only home to our school but also the Sakaki League," Ash blinks at the fact that the League shares the same last name of her dad, "But also the Contest Hall where the Grand Festival is held, but as you can see it has plently of places with tasty food," Nemona grins, bringing her arms up for a stretch, "But honestly, these days, the whole city is for the students of Naranja Academy. Though it still helps many people besides the students, to Paldea its our Cleadon Department Store," she then gestures for Ash to follow, "But be prepared...the stairs up the school are no joke,"

Ash nodded her head, following Nemona forward, but looking around in amazement. She had never been to anyplace but Pallet Town, so seeing a city this large...was wild to her. Seeing this many Pokemon was amazing for the red eye girl, watching as if afraid she would miss something. Many people were riding down the backs of Cyclizers, while a Steenee was helping its Trainer pull others attention towards their cart, emitting a sweet scent. Ash had to step aside as an tired looking officer worker passed by, while a Staraptor flew above him. They were ascending a flight of stairs when a voice calls out, "Don't you get it? If you join Team Star, you can shine as bright as anybody!"

Ash blinks at this, startle but Nemona groans, "Not again," she sighs as they spotted three people. Two of them were wearing the school uniforms though messy, and wore bike helmets on their heads with star shapped goggles attached. The other was a girl with blue and red hair, wearing a gray hoodie and a very large eevee backpack, who was staring at the two with a blank expression.

"Seriously," the boy complains, a frown on his face, "What's with you? Don't you wanna burn brightly with awesome friends like us?"

"Not really…" the girl spoke barley above a whisper, turning her head away.

The other girl wearing the bike helmet shakes her head in annoynce, "Look- we've got a quota we're supposed to fill for new members, so just sign up already!" she snaps, taking a step forward, sneering at the red and blue hair girl. Nemona growls and was about to step up when a scoff was heard.

"I can see why she rather not," turning their heads, they saw an another girl walking forward, she too wearing the school unfiorm. Though, Ash notices it was a mix of them. She was wearing the pants of the spring/winter while wearing the shirt of the summer uniform. Instead of the blue tie, she had a black and white neck scarf tied around her neck, grey gloves on her wrist and a particular grey hat. Ash tilted her head a bit, realizing it was a conductor's hat, which covered her silver white hair which the locks shaped like lightning bolts, curved on each side of her face. Her pale blue eyes narrow at the two, her hand twitching to one of the Pokeball's attached to her Trainer belt.

"Huh? You want in on this too?" the boy sneers, grinning as he leans forward, his hands on his hips, "It you're here to sign up, we'll get to you next! We've nearly got this one in the bag,"

"Sure you do," the girl drawls, rolling her eyes, "Don't you have better things to do then bugging people about your little group?" she tilts her head, snapping one of the Pokeballs from her belt, "And have you never heard of the word consent? She said no, and no means no, it doesn't mean to keep bugging her until she says yes," the blue and red haired girl sighs, placing a hand to her face to hide it.

"Oh this is going to be good," Ash turns towards Nemona, who was grinning wildly, jumping up and down.

"We're Team Star! We burn so bright, it hurts to look at us!" the boy quoted, ignoring what the older girl had remarked, "But you already know that, right?"

"Nope!" She pops the p as a wide grin grew on her face. Ash could see that she was joking, she knew who Team Star was, but the way the two others were trembling in rage she was having a fun time mocking them.

"Ugh, another ignorant little nobody," Nemona snorted at this, covering her grinning face with a hand, "Here I am, finally part of Team Star, and I still get no respect? I gotta work my way up the ranks,"

"As if that would give you any of the respect you think it will," the other rolls her pale blue eyes, "Quotas? Ranks? You two grunts have no idea what Team Star really means do you?"

"And what you do?" the boy snaps, gritting his teeth before turning to his partner, "We can't just let something like this slide. The honor of our team's on the line, so we got not choice but to battle, yeah?"

"Agreed!" with grins on their faces, the two three a Pokeball in the air, releasing a Yungoos that hissed angrily and a Shroodle who blinks at the girl with wide green eyes, dripping a purple ooze from its mouth.

The girl sighs, shaking her head, before she holds out her Pokeball, "Follow the rules and drive safely, I Bonnie and Flufflebutt are heading towards victory! All aborad!" and with that she throws the Pokeball in the air. The two grunts have been snickering at the name of Flufflebutt, but then gasp in horror yellow spider appears in front of them. Ash stares at it in awe, with its head being yellow on the top, light purple on the bottom, its two large blue eyes that were forward facing were narrow, the two long pedipalps twitching as it slowly crawls forward. The Galvantula chitters angrily, as Bonnie smirks making the two grunts back away slowly.

"Me thinks we made a mistake," the boy whispers while the girl nods her head quickly in agreement,

"Electroweb," with a screech of agreement, Flufflebutt form yellow sparks between his pedipalps beofre it was shot forward. Shroodle and Yungoos scream, running around in circles as the stream of electricty opens at the tip, expanding into a large spider web just before it wraps around them, covering them. They then cried out as they were shocked, their bodies twitching and thrashing under the confines of the webbing before it died down, the two grunts' Pokemon laying in a heap, eyes turn to swirls.

"We were trying to make this nobosy see stars, but instead it was us who saw stars!" the boy sighs as he and the girl hold out their Pokeballs to return their fainted Pokemon.

"How come we were the ones seeing stars. Its just not right for a nobody like you to be so good at battling!" the girl seethed, but the other boy grabs her by the arm, slowly pulling her towards the stairs.

"I think its time we be on our merry way," the boy whimpered, his head turns towards Ash and Nemona, "With you and the student council dweeb," at this the girl jumps, her head snapping over to them and she swallows, "I think a retreat is a good idea...Hasta la vistaaarrr!" and with that, he lets go of his friend's arm and ran down the stairs.

"Me too! Hasta la vistar!" and the girl yelps before following her friend.

Staring in confusion, Ash turns to Nemona who shakes her head, "So, yeah- Team Star is basically a group of students that like to kick up trouble. They formed about two years ago, hardly showing up for classm and when they get together in groups, they're a real headache. Even the teachers don't know what to do with 'em...from what I hear...really the only one they listen to is Bonnie…" she nods her head at the older girl, who was gushing her Galvantula with praise, "At least they use to,"

"The older members do," Bonnie remarked with a smile, standing up and turning to Nemona and Ash, "Good to see ya again Nemona...keep bugging people about having battles?"

"Me? Noooooo" Nemona lied through her teeth, "Its good to see you again Bonnie.." she frowns, looking sadden, "I heard about your uncle...has there been any word? News?"

Bonnie shakes her head, "Unfortunately there has been nothing. Dad has been turned to a wreck searching for him...I almost didn't come back but him and Aunt Elesa wanted me to finish my last year," she huffs crossing her arms in annoyance, "and they wouldn't take a no...but it seems like it was a good idea...seems like Team Star has gotten more wild latley,"

Nemona nodded her head in agreement at this, before turning Ash. But before she could say anything a voice calls out, "Bonnie," they turn their heads to the girl with the eevve pack, "….thanks," she nodded her head before turning it away, "See….see you around," she went on before she ran up the long flight of stairs.

Bonnie sighs, shaking her head, "Penny…" she shakes her head, "First day back and is already going to cause trouble for not wearing the uniform...at least she came...she could had hid away at Doctor Kaminko and push back moving day,"

"You know her, Bonnie?" Nemona asked, a look of perplex on her face, "I never seen her around so I thought she was a transfer like Ash…" she gestures to Ash, making her jump a bit and wave at Bonnie who smiles, "Though I can't help but gush at that Eevee bag! Love that fluff!"

Bonnie smirks, "Yeah its fluffy...and yeah I know Penny...she's my classmate," she sighs, shaking her head, "She wasn't able to come back last year for personal reasons but this years she is able too. Anyway, shows over you two," she waves at the two girls, a smile on her face, "Curfew is about to hit and you both don't want to be spending all night unpacking now,"

Nemona laughs, stepping out of the way, "Alright Bonnie...but at some point you and I got to battle," Bonnie laughs, but nods her head and began to walk up thte stairs, Flufflebutt trailing beside her. Nemona, grinning turns to Ash, "But she is right...I got to get you to the Director. Get ready to climb the worst staircase in the world," Nemona groans, looking at the staircase in dread.

Ash grimaces at this, but follows Nemona all the way up the stairs. The older girl was right about it being the worse flight of stairs in the world. By the time both of them reached up, the sun had set and they were both out of breath, clutching their sides, "This is my second year...but I will never get use to those stairs!" Nemona complains, holding herself up by the knees. Shaking her head, she pushes herself up, walking over to large doors. Ash follows her inside, steeping into an enormus room, standing across a large maghongy desk where woman wearing a light blue jacket stood behind, next to her was a Pysduck. The desk was covered in an orange cloth, that matches with the curtains hanging on the wall that had the Academy's symbol stitched on it. Spinning in a circle, Ash saw the walls covered with shelves, filled with many books, more books than Ash has ever seen.

"Welcome to Naranja Academy, Ash!" Nemona proclaimed, spreading her arns wide, "This here is the Entrance Hall. You can sign up for all kinds of classes at the desk behind me, and those halls off to the sides lead to all different parts of the school. Its toattly big enough to let loose and battle here, but for some reason, they banned Pokemon battling in the main entrance,"

"Maybe because of all the books here, Miss Nemona," at the voice of the Director, the two girls turn to see him walking over to them, "How did you find the school commute,"

"We had a blast," Ash exclaimed, "We saw so many Pokemon! More than I ever have seen in Pallet Town!"

Director Clavell chuckles, "I imagine Miss Nemona's high spirits also helped with that. She's a true asset to our fine academy. Not that I expect any less from our Champion-ranked student council president," he nodded his head towards her in thanks, "Reliable as ever, Miss Nemona. You have my thanks on guiding Miss Ash here."

"Well, I know how to look after my friends," Ash felt warmth at this, smiling wide at Nemona calling her, her friend, "Oh but speaking of which, we saw some of those Team Star kids in town Director,"

The Director's eyes widen, "You did? Where?" he asked frantically but Nemona frowns.

"It was down the stairs by the front gate," Nemona explained, "They were hassling this kid,"

"Penny!" Ash reminded her and Nemona nodded her head.

"Right, Penny, she had an Eevee backpack...but Bonnie came around and flexed on em, forcing them to run off,"

Director Clavell sighs, pushing his glasses up, "Of course she would, I only know her a little bit from what I saw from last year and Miss Bonnie has never stood by with Team Star bothering the other students… though I had hope this year she would have show a bit of restraint," he shakes his head, "Though...if that was Miss Penny, I'm glad she did take the offer to fully come back," he trails off before he shakes his head, "Now its getting late though...and you two have a very busy schedule with the Opening Ceremony and classes. Miss Nemona, why don't you show Miss Ash to her room,"

"Right!" Nemona nods her head before she grabs Ash by the wrist and begins to pull her up the stairs to the left. Groaning, Ash quickly follows her, the Director's chuckles ringing in her ears.

A few minutes later, Ash finds herself stepping into her dorm room. It was pretty empty, besides the bed that was covered in an orange blanket, a dark brown dresser in one corner, with a long ligh brown desk for her to do her work with a tiny little shelf hanging above it. There was a small kitchen, that Ash will probably never use as her mother once said that besides her thirst for battles, she had inherited her dad's talent of catching water on fire.

"This is your room for now on Ash," Nemona smiles, watching as the other girl sat her Trainer Bag down, "You have your dresser to place your clothes in, but you can only wear the uniform," she snickers at the grimace on Ash's face at that, "But you can wear accessories to make it different from others. We can make plan a day out and go to the shops to find something you like,"

"I still say I look ridicoulus," she mumbers, but grabs the three Pokeballs from her Trainer belt, letting out Apollo, Wooper and Koraidon out. The three pokemon shake themselves, before looking at Ash, "This is our room guys...make yourself at home," smiling as the three looked around but soon she couldn't stop herself from yawning, feeling exhausted.

Nemona patted her on the back, "You should head to sleep Ash. Director Clavell is right, tomorrow is going to be a busy day," she walked over to her door, "I'll see you tomorrow...you and your team rest up, so that way we can battle even more," nodding her head again while fighting back the yawn, Ash watches as Nemona leaves.

Losing the battle, Ash headed to her trainer bag, pulling out of her Pjs and quickly slipping them off while throwing the uniform in the hamper that was in the bathroom. Climbing in the bed, she blinks as she watches Koraidon helping Apollo and Wooper onto the bed, the two smaller Pokemon crawling over to her pillow and curling up. Smiling, Ash lays down, softly petting Apollo's back while looking at Wooper, "You need a name," she whispers sleepily, "How about...Pancake?"

"Whoop!" giggling as the newly name Pancake kicks her feet, she looks over to Koraidon settling down on the floor, but poistioning his head to be able to watch the door.

"Do...do you want a name too Koraidon?" the Pokemon looks up, before hse gently shakes his head before placing his head down onto his paws, slowly closing his eyes. "A-Alright," she yawns, placing her head down onto the pillow, her eyes slowly shutting as she falls into slumber. "Goodnight...Apollo...Pancake….Koraidon," she whispers, gently grabbing Apollo into her arms and curling around the Fuecoco, a soft smile on her face.

So different from the game, Ash didn't battle the Team Star grunts, Bonnie (an Oc that belongs to a friend of mine by the name of Garnett, Hi Garnett! fight them, and she has a connection to both Team Star and Penny I hope i did Bonnie justice) things are going to be different than it was in the game, since I don't want to do everything as it is, you guys want to read something new, not something fully copy.

But if your worried about terrelizing, I'm hoping it comes in a couple of chapters...I want to actually have them deal with class, at least before the Treasure Hunt begins...anyway other than that, we have our boy Arven, and Koraidon has been name! Which I'm happy about since I don't want to keep calling him the scarlet Pokemon. I hope the battles are good, this is my first time I'm doing more than one battle...but Apollo learned Round! That's good am I right? Also Ash caught a Wooper! Her name is Pancake!
