It all started with a wish.

A wish that was wished by thousands of fans.

Except one fan wasn't just that, they were a myth, a legend and they didn't even know it.

"I wish the Doctor was real."

And yet no police boxes appeared before her.

No age old aliens with English accents offered to take her on an adventure.

It took until she took a trip to London itself to believe her wish hadn't come true.

Which was odd for all her wishes came true...unless they were already so.

It happened when she was in a charity shop.

In the far back was this grand mirror something she almost imagined to be better suited in a castle than a bargain store.

And when she looked into it she saw a reflection, but it wasn't her as she was now. She was older with laughter lines but sad eyes.

"I wish..." The reflection shook her head, "I've lived a magnificent life but I always worry about him. Traveling on his own with no one that can stay there forever." A smile came upon the lips of the woman that was her but wasn't, "I know what you are. I've seen your memories as you'll soon see mine."

A rush of images of a life of adventure through time and space and dimensions filled Rosalind's mind.

"You are Rose Tyler."

"No..." There was the bittersweet smile again, "...you are. Good luck Rose."
