"And what of it?" the redheaded raised an eyebrow at the blonde's statement.

Michiko shrugged, "Nothing, it's just that others said I'm a spitting image of my mom. Does that make me beautiful also?" then she laughed as if what she said was absurd, "Oh, why do I need to ask? Of course, I am. I'm the most beautiful woman among our generation after all."

The redheaded let out a chuckle, "Who said that? Your mom? Oh, please, I'm more beautiful than you."

Michiko raised an eyebrow, "Are you blind or do you just want to deny it? Whenever I go, regardless of gender, old or young, turned their heads towards me."

The blonde smirked inwardly when she saw the redheaded's jaw tightened and her hands curled into fists. She looked at her with feigned sympathy, "Oh, Mayumi, it must be hard for you to be number two and be compared to me always. I know it's hard," then a smirk formed on her lips, "Though I don't know what it really feels like as I'm always above you."

Tsunade and Shizune hissed inside at the blonde's sizzling words.

"Damn."

The face of the redhead, now identified as Mayumi darkened, but it disappeared and changed into a taunting smile, "Maybe, but not on Hiroto," she leaned forward and grinned, "He chose me over you. The man you loved picked me over your pathetic ass. So, who's number two now? How does it feel to have your spot stolen by others? Huh?"

Michiko raised her hand and inspected her fingers, "Nothing but disgust and pity," she curled her fingers to observe her fingers from a different angle, "Disgust for myself, cause really, why did I fall for that good-for-nothing guy. I deserve better than him," she rolled her eyes at the thought of her ex-boyfriend. Michiko sighed and looked at Mayumi with feigned sympathy in her eyes once again, "And pity for you. Honestly, I'm so sad for you. I mean you thought you're finally number one when the truth is you're still number two. Sure he chose you, but he's mine before he's yours. I've got the whole course and all that's left for you are some scraps."

Shizune choked on her own saliva at the blonde's words while the other blonde on the other hand was enjoying all the drama unfolding in front of her to the point that she even almost forgot her own drama.

Michiko shook her head, "But other than that, I don't feel anything. I don't feel bitter by it, actually I'm even happy for the two of you. Both of you deserve each other. You both are meant to be," the blonde smile sweetly, "A bitch and an asshole, what a perfect match."

Tsunade coughed to cover her laugh, "Oh, that redhead needs a medic to heal all of those burns. Wait. I'm the medic."

The Sannin froze when three pairs of eyes turned to her. One has a mirth dancing in her eyes, one is looking at her with amusement hiding behind the look of boredom, and one is glaring daggers to her.

"Oh, I'm done with you blonds!" the redheaded snarled and was about to dash towards the medic-nin with her katana drawn out but was stopped when a naginata came flying in between the two women causing the younger one to jump back and the older one snapped her head where it came from and saw Michiko swinging a chain with a sharp knife at the end of it.

"Oh, what is this? You finally realize you're not going to win over me and decided to go to other people?" she threw the chain towards the Mayumi. The latter raised her katana to block the blonde's attack but Michiko's chain wrapped around her katana. Mayumi tugged on it but Michiko didn't even falter one bit, "Really pathetic."

Then out of thin air, a naginata appeared to Michiko's free hand, much to the master-apprentice duo's confusion. They didn't see the woman do a hand gesture or anything. It just... appeared.

The blonde dashed forward while the other woman sheathed her tanto out of its sheath that was stuck on her thigh and took a defensive form. But a black blur went through the chain Michiko was holding and holding Mayumi back, making it snap.

"Mayumi, that's enough. Hiroto spoke to me and we need to get back immediately," Hiroshi said putting his sword back on his hip.

Michiko bent as she laughed out loud, "That's funny. Hey, Hiroshi can you pass a message to that asshole to keep a leash in his bitch of a girlfriend."

Mayumi growled, ready to run towards her nemesis when Hiroshi put a hand on her shoulder to stop her, "Mayumi, stop. We need to go."

The redheaded snapped her head to the brunette and opened her mouth. Hiroshi looked at her sternly, "Now."

Mayumi gritted her teeth. She turned to her long-standing rival, "I will get back to you, bitch."

Michiko blew a kiss to her then moved her fingers up and down in a gesture of farewell, "I will wait for you, slut."

The redheaded narrowed her eyes before the two of them disappeared.

Michiko put a hand to her hip and rolled her eyes, "I really hate that bitch," she turned around to the two women beside her who were now looking at her cautiously but she ignored it and walked passed them, "I'm hungry. Want to come?"

Shizune opened her mouth to ask her who she was when Tsunade beat her, "Your treat?"

Michiko stopped walking and looked over her shoulder. She arched an eyebrow and looked like she would say something — which by the looks of the gleam of her eyes, something you shall not tell to a broken-short temper woman— but chose to go against it, "Fine. Let's make it a celebration for the reunion of the two long-lost cousins."

Tsunade wanted to say something about the 'long lost cousin' but decided they could talk about it over dinner and instead asked, "Buy me a sake too."

Michiko looked ahead once again and continued walking, waving her hand, "Yeah, yeah," then she muttered, "Damn you and Akira-nee are the same."

Tsunade barely heard the last comment but shrugged it off and followed the other blonde. Shizune with Tonton in her hands goes right after her master, who has a say in this.

Michiko was digging in her food vigorously, "Kami, these are great," she said as she picked a dish in front of her with her chopstick and stuffed it in her mouth. She swallowed first before she talked, "You know for the past two months that I was tracking you, this was the first time I've eaten with this kind of food as I always eat what I hunted in the wild. I—"

Tsunade cleared her throat making the other blonded stop talking and tilted her head. The older woman stared at her pointedly with an arched brow.

"Oh, oh! Right! Sorry," Michiko extended her hand to pick up her glass of water and drank before she continued talking, "Well, I know you dear cousin have a lot of questions running through your mind. And though I could read yours, I just don't want to cause it's too chaotic, and mine's a bit too tired right now. So, what's your question?"

Tsunade opened her mouth, "I would like to ask —"

But Shizune interrupted her with a shocked expression on her face, "You could read mind? Is that what Tsunade-sama meant when she said you're the voice in her head?"

"Shizune!" Tsunade reprimanded.

The brunette froze and looked at her master fearfully when she realized she cut off the older woman's sentence. She bows down, "I'm sorry, Tsunade-sama!"

Tsunade just sighed, "No, it's fine. It's also one of my questions," she looked at her supposedly cousin, "So, why is that?"

Michiko was in deep thought, arranging how she would explain all of these to the woman in front of her, cause she was sure Tsunade's mother never told of her heritage based on her reactions from earlier.

Michiko nodded, "Okay, but first," she made hand signs and touched her palm at the table. Black signs emerged from her hands and then expanded over the whole cubicle they were in. After she did it, she looked at the two occupants and said in a serious tone, "What I will tell you must not be revealed to others. You swear you will not tell a soul about the information you will know unless the situation calls for it."

Tsunade and Shizune looked at each other and back to Michiko and nodded, "We swear we will not tell a soul about the information we will know to others unless the situation calls for it."

Michiko shook her head, "Swear it to Atsuko-sama's name."

The master-apprentice duo furrowed in confusion but did what they were told, "We swear to Atsuko-sama that we will not tell a soul about the information we will know to others unless the situation calls for it."

The moment they finished they gasped and clutched the nearest thing they could grab as they felt their blood seems like boiling for a second.

"W-what is that?" Tsunade panted narrowing her eyes to the younger blonde.

"That's what we called a precaution. You swore on the Goddess Atsuko's name," The blonde leaned forward, looked them dead in the eyes and her voice lowered to a dangerous tone as she said, "If you ever broke it, there will be consequences, one of them can lead to death."

The two were frozen for a moment a look of fear passed by Shizune's face while Tsunade was impassive.

"Now, what's your question again?"

Tsunade put her elbows on the desk, "Why do you and the other two earlier seems like can read my mind and talk to me telepathically? The only people I know who can do that was the Yamanaka Clan but by the looks of your physical traits, you three don't look like any of them... Well, you can pass as a Yamanaka because of your hair if not for your red eyes."

The younger blonde chuckled, "Did you know that the ancestor of the Yamanaka was once a part of our tribe? He ditched the tribe, got to the Konoha, married a Senju, then built the Yamanaka Clan."

The two other women's eyes widened, "Really?"

"Yup," Michiko answered popping the 'p' while nodding, "But let's get back to your question. The ability to read one mind or talk telepathically was an ability among the Zokuhito, though only a few people could do this."."

"Few people?" Shizune asked.

The blonde nodded, "Yes. These people either came from a powerful clan or have a unique DNA in their blood. However, this ability is not only in our tribe," she turned to the other blonde, "So you must learn how to block someone on entering your mind or else our tribe will be doom."

Tsunade furrowed, "Are you saying there were other tribes out there?"

Michiko sighed as she threw her head back, "Why you didn't tell anything to your daughter about her heritage, Hanako-obasama?" she looked at her cousin, clasped her hand, and rested her elbows at the dining table, "Okay, I will tell you everything from the very beginning."

"Many millennials ago— 3,700 years from the past to be exact— there was a goddess named Atsuko who wanted to explore and learn about the mortals of this world, so she descended from the heaven she resided at. She wandered around, observing the mortals unnoticed by others but by one man, Haru. He is a simple farmer from a small town but he's not like other people for he has the ability to see some things the others can't see. He approached the goddess and after that, they'd seen each other every day for a long time until they fell in love with each other, and the fruit of their love was four children; the eldest son, Atsuo, Katashi, the second to the eldest, Asami, the third child and Shiki, the youngest among them. Unfortunately, she had to go back to heaven where she belonged, even though it pained her that she would leave her four children and her lover. After ten years of leaving the Earth, she left and went back to her home. At the loss of his lover, Haru had fallen into a great depression, and two years after the goddess left, he passed away leaving the four children without any parents to guide them. Fortunately, the two eldest were old enough to take care of their two younger siblings."

Michiko stopped for a moment and glanced at the two if they were still listening.

"As the four siblings grew older, they noticed something about them. It seems like they were not like other people. They never interacted with them normally and the others were also feeling awkward around them. That's when they learned that they were not normal people like others. At that same moment, they also discovered that each of them had abilities of their own. Atsuo's ability was connected to his five senses, Katashi can transform into anything he wants, Asami can manipulate her body at will, and Shiki has a connection to the environment around her."

Michiko pauses for a moment to fill her cup with water from a pitcher and drink it.

"The four sibling's relationship was strong as they only had each other after they became orphans and just as I said, they're not the most sociable people you've met. But that doesn't stop them from parting their ways and following what they desire. Atsuo, the most ambitious out of the four, was the first to leave their home. He wants to see the world, visit different lands, and see the beauty out there. But Katashi was against it and told his older brother that they must stay together, however, Atsuo's desire for adventure won out. The next one who left their home was, Asami, who wants to find out who she is. Out of spite, and as two of his siblings already left, Katashi also left their home leaving Shiki, the youngest alone. And because there's no one left, she also left their home to live in the middle of the wilderness. Atsuo met a priest, married, have children and that's how our tribe, the Kankakubozuko, started. Our people's abilities, or what we called nōryoku, were based on the five senses. The same thing also happened to others. Asami formed a tribe named Karadabozuko, where their nōryoku were based on anything to do with body manipulation. Shiki founded the Kankyobozuko, where their nōryoku was connected to the environment. And Katashi created the Henkanbozuko, where their nōryoku was transformation."

Michiko stretched her arms upwards and sighed in relief when her muscles uncoiled their tension, "That's our history or the history of the four tribes, which is what we called Zukohito."

Michiko shoved food in her mouth with her chopsticks as she let her words process into their minds.

"Why did I only know about this today? I didn't read about anything you told us in any books I encountered," Tsunade broke the silence.

Michiko pointed the older woman with her chopsticks, "That's because chakra happened, Shinobi arise, many people were so intrigued about our unique DNA making many of Zukohito being experimented," she then looked up, "May their soul rest in peace," she shook her head and continued, "That's why the four tribes decided to hide from the public and burned down all of the books and anything that has information about us on every country."

"Kami, all of these are—" Tsunade didn't finish her sentence and just poured sake on her saucer and drank it.

The other blonde chuckled, "And I don't even tell you about our family and why am I here."

"Speaking of, what's your business with me and why did those two people earlier attack me?" the medic-nin asked with curiosity.

"Oh right, but first let me order another set of food, I'm still famished," the younger blonde said as she deactivated the seal, called for a waiter, and ordered another set of meals.

"Order another sake bottle too. I need a lot of drinks tonight," Tsunade requested.

"And another three bottles of sake for this drunkard," Michiko pointed at her older cousin with her thumb.

"Hey!"

Michiko ignored the older woman's protest. When their orders arrived, the Sannin immediately drank the whole bottle in one shot.

"Alright, continue," Tsunade directed.

Michiko arched an eyebrow, "Easy, let me retract the seal first. We need to—"

The younger blonde stopped talking when she saw the other two women looking somewhere else. She followed where they were looking and saw a white-hair man with red lines on his face and a blonde-haired kid with whisker marks on his face.

"I know that guy. Isn't that her one of former teammates, Jiraiya?" Michiko thought.

The blonde watched as the white-hair man squinted his eyes. She glanced at her cousin and saw that Tsunade did the same.

"Tsunade?!" Jiraiya exclaimed as he pointed at the medic-nin.

"Jiraiya?!" Tsunade stood up, staring at her former teammate in surprise, "Why... are you here?"

Michiko glanced at the two women on her left and then at the two men on her right.

Jiraiya also glanced at her from time to time, for curiosity and to check her out which didn't go unnoticed by the older blonde.

Tsunade took a shot with her saucer and spoke in a warning tone, "Keep your pervy eyes out of her, Jiraiya. Like Shizune, she's off limits."

Jiraiya immediately looked away while chuckling, "What about you? Are you not off limits?" the only woman in the Sannin just looked at him with an impassive expression. The toad sage waved his hand dismissively, "Okay, okay. Fine. I'll stop."

"I wonder who's this young woman. She looks like Tsunade... Is she her daughter?"

Michiko laughed, clutching her stomach. The other four looked at her in confusion. The blonde waved her hands as she wiped a tear from her eyes, "Sorry, sorry. It's just that, he thought that I'm your daughter 'cause we're look alike."

Tsunade turned her head towards the shocked Sannin. Her face turned red, either because of embarrassment, alcohol, or anger... maybe, a mix of the three.

"Jiraiya, she's not my daughter! She's my cousin. Why on the Elemental Nation will I have a daughter—"

"How did she know my thoughts?"

The three women halted at the toad sage's question.

"The ability to read one mind or talk telepathically was an ability among the Zokuhito, though only a few people could do this."

Their eyes widened as they realized what his question implied.

"What in Atsuo's name," Michiko stated dazedly.
