It was Monday morning when Damian entered the building for a job interview. He forgot to breathe when his eyes landed at the woman behind the counter. Her long, light brown, curly hair was pulled back in a ponytail. She wore a curry yellow suit with a black shirt underneath. He regained his ability to breathe and walked towards her. She looked up at him with a pair of light brown eyes and smiled at him.

"Can I help you?" She asked.
"I'm here for a job interview with Ozella Fern," he said. "My name is Damian Priest."

She looked down at her screen to find his name in the system and smiled again.

"All clear, mister Priest. Take the elevator up to the third floor. Miss Fern is expecting you," she said.
"Thank you," he said.

He eyed her name tag before walking over to the elevator.

Joasia

He didn't want to leave this newfound beauty again but he had to. He was well aware of the amount of people in the lobby and of the security that would jump on him if he tried anything.

"Have a good day, Joasia," he said.

He walked over to the elevator and looked back at her. She was staring at her screen as if she had already forgotten about him.

"She's playing hard to get," he mumbled.

He stepped into the elevator and the door closed behind him. The beauty behind the counter lingered in his mind. She was going to be his. He was sure of it. She felt it too the moment she looked at him. Something this strong couldn't be onesided or wrong.

Joasia was already his. She just didn't know it yet.
