So here it is! Chapter 1 of my (please let this be the final version brain! Please!) of my Harry Potter Pokemon series. Once again this series is inspired by Mr. Chaos own Harry Potter series! Thanks a lot Chaos! Your series is really good!

Now...I decide to throw away any hesitation...this series takes inspiration from Jackie Chan Adventures and Fullmetal Alchemist...the thing is that I wanted Aura to be a big thing but I could never get a right...fit on how to explain it...I didn't want it to be magic like in the harry potter series...and I tried to do it like the Merlin series did but again that was too hard (and I stopped watching it after how much that show is filled with angst. I know shows need some angst but not all of it!) so...I decided to use full Metal alchemy...while alchemy in that show is science it is easy for me to understand...and gives me what I need to plot out. This also takes inspiration from Puss in Boots (don't at me that cat and wolf has me at the throat! I can't escape from them

Anyway...the title might change just to warn you all...I don't have a specfic thing...yet. Like I have an idea on what is replacing the stone...but its not fool proof...so if the title changes on you don't be surprise. I hope you all enjoy! Please leave a comment!

Aura is the magic of understanding, decomposing and reconstructing matter. However, it is not an all-powerful art. It is impossible to create something out of nothing. If one wishes to obtain something, something of equal value must be given. This is the law of equivalent exchange, the basis of the art of aura. There is a taboo among those who use the gift of aura, and that is bringing a human back to life, which is strictly forbidden. For what could equal the value of a soul?

Gearpool Town

Amber eyes looked upon the small town, a soft smile growing on the man's face as children ran around. The sun shining brightly, flocks of Pidgey and Rookiedee flying overhead. "Come along Mister Lupin,"

Turning his gaze, Remus Lupin turns to his old Head of House and Professor of Pokemon Care, Professor McGonagall. The old woman with her brown hair in a tight bun, turns her gaze to him, her light green eyes filled with the same concern that was fluttering around his stomach. He slowly nods his head, the palm of his hand rubbing the blue and black fur between the ears of the Lucario beside him.

"Right…right Professor McGonagall," he sighs, Moony whining a bit as he pulls his hand away, "I'm coming…it's just…"

"I know," Professor McGonagall replied before she began to once more walk down the dirt road. Taking another breath, Remus soon follows her. Biting at his lips, Remus couldn't help but think about what this day was supposed to mean. This day…was the daughter of his best friend's eleventh birthday….little Aria Euphemia Potter. The last living Potter in all of the Grimm Region.

Like all regions, once a child of Grimm reaches the age of 11, they were allowed to have a starter Pokémon, though unlike the other Regions they don't have their own regional starters. While some are lucky to have families in high places to either order a Regional Starter, or to be able to go to Professor Ollivanders to get one that has been bred to higher standards. Most Starter Pokémon were just wild Pokémon newly caught. Though an 11 birthday is still highly sought out for all children. For it was also the beginning of their Pokémon Journey.

Remus' eyes flicker to the white envelope in Professor McGonagall's hand, her fingers gripping them gently but firm, to not wrinkle the paper. While most children would go around Grimm, collecting eight gym badges, or four ribbons if they decided to go down the Coordinator path, some children can decided to go to schools focus on the training of Pokémon, and if you were really lucky to get high enough scores, or from a family who have been training Pokémon since the founding of the region, they could be accepted at Hogwarts.

"You should be here James…you and Lily should be here, waking up to Aria's squeals as she holds her letter. Screaming about going to Hogwarts, getting her Starter…" Remus closes his eyes, grief filling him, while under his breath he curses Team Ouroboros.

Ten years ago, for the last eleven years, the region of Grimm had gone through a civil war. Many families who had long standing as Trainers, thought that they should be the only ones to be allowed to have Pokemon, let alone touch them. Though hardly anyone took notice of it, thinking it was pure rubbish…during the years those families had thought that their way of life was being threatened, that their family knowledge would be forced out into the open, to be shared with those impure or from other Regions. So when a man, calling himself Lord Voldemort, who proved himself to be a descendant of one of Hogwarts' founders, many of those came to his call.

With much support, Team Ouroboros was formed, in hopes of sending those from other Regions back to where they belong and to punish families who they thought were too impure to have Pokemon. What followed was a brutal war, so many Pokemon and Trainers were killed on both sides, so many families lost. Remus closes his eyes a bit before opening them once more, pushing back the memories of his time on the battlefield.

Eventually, ten years ago, the tide was turned with the downfall of Voldemort. Remus' best friend, Jame Potter and his wife, Lily Potter nee Evans, struck him down when he came for them. Standing against them until the very last, they won but with the cost being their lives. Leaving behind their one year old daughter, Aria, the only survivor. Though it took five more years for the war to truly end, to many it all ended on Hallow's Night.

Remus stops at a house that sat on top of a small hill, a small sign that stated the yellow house as Logan Automail, stood beside the dark wooden porch. But Remus' eyes were locked onto a figure, his breath hitching at the sight.

Laying against the red scale side of a Skeledrige was a small girl, a bit smaller than what she should be, but clearly healthy. Her skin was a nice tan, showing signs that she spent many days out in the sun. Her black hair was long, and braided down to her shoulders, but Remus didn't doubt for one second that if they were free, they would have the same messy look that all Potters had. Her bangs were parted in the middle, framing her face as they fell. She was wearing a simple black sleeveless shirt and a pair of blue shorts, good clothes for a hot summer day like this. There were only two odd things…one was the pair of leather boots, black with a red lining.

The other thing, made bile pushed up in Remus' mouth. Guilt gripping at his heart as he stares at her left leg and right arm, where instead of a regular arm and leg, the shining silver metal of automail replaced it.

"What happened to her….what happened to the young baby that I used to bounce on my knee…what happened that she had to get automail prosthetics?!"

Little Surrey-2 years ago

"Water, 35 liters; carbon, 20 kilograms; ammonia,4 liters; lime, 1.5 kilograms; phosphorus, 800 grams; salt, 250 grams; saltpeter, 100 grams, sulfur, 80 grams; fluorine, 7.5 grams; iron, 5 grams; silicon, 3 grams," green eyes looked up from the small list of notes, to the two buckets filled with the stuff she just read off.

Aria Potter nods her head, placing down the small paper on a beat up table. She was lucky she found this abandoned house years ago, it allowed her to do her research and allow her to hide her research from those who would stop her. "Now, I just need some soul data," she whispers, grabbing a knife and cutting her finger a bit, allowing her blood to drip into the two pans.

The feeling of guilt ran through her, a small voice, sounding so much like her Teacher, told her to stop…but the longing to have her parents…even if somehow her Aunt Petunia was telling her the truth that her parents were drunks…who gotten themselves killed when they were on their way to dump her at some orphanage.

"Why would people who are so cruel to you, tell you the truth about your parents?" a voice sounding so much like Uncle rang through her head. Taking a deep breath, Aria kneels down, placing one hand on each tub. Taking a deep breath, her arms began to glow with a blue light as she directed her aura into them.

She waited with bated breath, the room soon being bathed in blue light, sparks of electricity crashing down on the ground…the blue glow turning into a dark fog, the mist curling around Aria's form.

"Wh-what…" she then cries out as a sharp pain erupted into her arm, her eyes widening in horror. Her hand was disconnected from her arm, the black mist dissolving it into particles. Before she could scream, more pain, worse than anything she ever felt, shot through her body as she fell to her chest. Glancing over her shoulder, she sees the miasma wrapping around her leg…, "N-no…a rebound?!"

She screams, tears glistening in her eyes as the miasma surged towards her. She closes her eyes, waiting for pain…but instead silence soon surrounds her. Slowly, Aria opened her eyes, finding herself with her arm and leg attached, in a vast white area…a giant door standing before her.

Aria didn't have time to get a good look at the large door as it slowly opens. Glowing, red light emerged from within, making her take a step back…she frowns a bit, as someone…something…came out, "Who are you?"

"I'm so glad you asked, child…I am the world. I'm the universe. I am all. I am one. I am also you. You have dared to knock on the door, and thus the door has opened,"

Green eyes stared at red eyes before a scream tore from her throat. Extreme white hot pain began to radiate throughout her body. Her hands began to claw at her throat, feeling something shove its way down, cramming inside every open space in her. Her head felt like it was about to burst open from the inside…

Aria wakes up with a start as a thick and rough but very much slobbery tongue licks at her face. "Ugh Sid!" She sits up wiping her face in disgust as she glares at Skeleridge who chuckles at her, "You know that doesn't come out!" she scolds him, the orange fiery bird on its snout trilling in laughter. She was about to growl when she noticed two figures standing at the beginning of the yard. Her eyes narrow on the old woman wearing a business white woman's shirt tucked in emerald tailored trousers. She also wore a white lab coat.

Next to her was a man that made Aria frown, as he was staring at her with such guilt in his amber eyes. Pale face was marked with many scars, and his clothing of a red button shirt with the sleeves rolled up, suspenders holding up the black pants were shabby and a bit patched. Showing signs of a hard life, but Aria's gaze was pulled from him as she was tackled to the ground. She yelps, groaning in disgust as another tongue was slobbering up her face. "Moony! Get off of her you crazy hound!" the man yelps at the Lucario.

¡Sátate de mí, perro loco!" Aria yells, her teacher's mother language rolling easily off her tongue as she tries to push the Lucario off of her. Luckily the Aura Pokemon backed off, his nose sniffing at her, his red eyes looking at her with curiosity and awe.

"Kid? What in the name of the Distortion World are you screaming about now?" a woman with dark black hair tied in a ponytail emerged from the house. Wearing a floral blouse and form fitting grey pants under a red apron skirt. "Did Sid roll on top of you again?" Imelda Logan stops, her blue eyes staring at the scene before her. She sighs, crossing her arms over her chest, "Así que es hora…" she shakes her head before calling over her shoulder, "Jonathan! Make us some tea will ya? We're going to need it!"

"Teacher?" Aria asked, her face scrunched up in confusion.

That confusion was soon mixing with anger as she sat down, her eyes narrow on the man who was staring at her. Or more staring at her arm, "Why don't you take a picture. It'll last longer."

The man jumps, shame making his face burn, "I'm sorry…its.." he takes a deep breath, "I knew you when you were a baby. I was friends with your father," he smiles softly, eyes glaze in sadness. The Lucario, whose name is Moony, whines nuzzling into his Trainer's side, "After all these years…finally getting to see you…"

"Not what you expect?" Aria states and the man nods. She sighs a bit rubbing her shoulder, "It was an Aura Accident. I did something that I shouldn't have done and I paid the price for it. The only good maldito thing it did was getting me out of Surrey,"

"Aria, what did I tell you about cursing?" a man in his forties, with gray hair that was spiked up glares at her behind small, round armless glasses, "Just because I don't speak Paldean doesn't mean I don't know when you're cursing! No cursing until your thirteen," he states placing a tray of tea and biscuits onto the table

"Yes Uncle," Aria replies, rolling her eyes. She yelps when he gives her his signature two-finger slap onto her head.

"That accident also got us stuck with you, brat," her teacher smiles, ruffling her hair.

"Awww, but you love me teacher," Aria chirps a bit, snatching a biscuit and munching on it. She turns her gaze to the man and woman, "So…you said you knew my father, so you know me…but I don't know you,"

The man coughs a bit, his face turning red while Moony snickers, "Right…I'm Remus Lupin..I went to Hogwarts with your parents. We were all in the same year together. Of course I knew your father better but I got to know Lily more during their seventh year and when they married,"

"What Mister Lupin isn't telling you," the woman smiles, her light green eyes shining with mirth, "Is that him and your father along with a couple of other friends, caused terror at Hogwarts with their pranks. Many Professors were glad to see them go before they turn all their hair gray," Aria blinks at that but then the woman's face grew stern, "Now I guess I should introduce myself, I'm Professor McGonagall, Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts Academy for Gifted Trainers. I am also the Professor for Pokemon Relations," she nods her head in greeting.

"Hogwarts," Aria whispers, her eyes widening a fraction. Days stuck in a cupboard, stomach growling for more than the scraps that her cousin wouldn't eat. Using a small torch she had knicker from a trash, reading as many books as she could, in hopes of getting a scholarship,

Professor McGongall nodded her head, placing a snow white envelope onto the table. Aria's eyes zoom in on it, her Teacher's hand gently grabbing her shoulder, "I guess I don't need to explain why you are being accepted?"

Aria looks up and nods, "Because I'm the last Potter. The child of the Saviors of Grimm. The Girl-Who-Lived," she mutters the titles in disgust, "I knew since I was six when I met Teacher. She made sure I understood what people are expecting me,"

"How did you meet Miss Potter, Mrs. Logan?" Professor McGonagall asked as Aria grabbed the letter, "I remember the day Albus left her in Little Surrey all those years ago," the Professor didn't notice Aria's green eyes looking up, the way she gripped the letter tighter in her hands. Remus did though and frowned, especially at the frown and hatred shining in her green eyes, "I didn't agree with it, but he said that the small town was so far off that no one would look for her there…hardly anyone remembers the place actually with how few trainers actually come there,"

Aria's Teacher sighs, "I met her when she was six years old. Jonathan's automail business is the best of Grimm," Uncle smiles at this, puffing out his chest, "and we were at the town on a business call to help do some maintenance," her eyes narrow at the Deputy, "There I met a too small girl running from a bunch of bullies, her aura lashing out trying to escape that she ended on the roof of a building," Imelda smiles a bit, remembering how freaked out the child had been, finding herself on the roof of a building. "I decided to take her under my wing, not as a full disciple but to at least help her control her aura so she wouldn't hurt herself or anyone around her," she then laughs a bit, "Of course I didn't realize how much she was a prodigy in the art of Aura. So soon all the simple basics I was teaching her became actual lessons and training,"

"Oh so you're an Aura Guardian?" Remus asks but jumps a bit when a knife almost hits his hand, snatching it back before it could get stabbed. Aria sighs at this while Imelda laughs, pulling the simple butter knife out of the table.

"Oh Arceus no! I'm just a simple housewife to an automail mechanic. I have no interest in becoming a Growlithe to the League," she smiles a bit, "No…while I had been trained by a master I never got certified by the League…not that I want to," Aria could hear the disgust in her Teacher's voice and saw Professor McGonagall nod her head, understanding in her eyes, "Anyway," she waves a hand, "I didn't know how bad the kid had it until after the accident. When her…relatives," Imelda scowls into her cup of tea, "well let's just say they were upset that I brought her to the hospital…talking about how much money it will waste…"

Uncle nods his head, "Oh I remember that…you almost punched that Dursley in the face when he mentions that nothing more than first aid was good for her. Not even caring that she was bleeding heavily from losing her arm and leg," Remus winces at this, his face going pale.

"Debería haber hecho más," Imelda mutters, "Though after that, it wasn't hard to get guardianship. While I don't have that fancy paper making me a Regional Aura Guardian, me being her teacher allow me to gain guardianship over her as long as social services kept an eye on the first few months," she narrows her blue eyes onto Remus, "Don't think just because you were friends with her parents mean that you can take her,"

Remus stutters at that, making protests that he wouldn't take Aria from a home she clearly loved. Aria snorted a bit at that before she looked down at the envelope in her hands.

Staring at the letter more, Aria shakes her head before she tears it open. A train ticket fell out along with two pages of paper. She unfolds one, her eyes moving along the green ink, reading what could only be the invitation to Hogwarts.

HOGWARTS ACADEMY FOR GIFTED TRAINERS

Headmaster: ALBUS DUMBLEDORE (Order of Pendragon, First Class, Champion Rank, Ambassador of Grimm of the Legion Union)

Dear Miss. Potter,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts Academy for Gifted Trainers. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on September 1st. We will await your response by sending in your acceptance form by the activation of your Hogwarts issued Rotomphone no later than August 25.

Yours sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall

Deputy Headmistress

Aria frowns at this, "August 25? That's kinda a bit late isn't it?" she looks up at Professor McGonagall and Remus, "That's like..six days before the beginning of the school year?"

"Very true but that is the date of Grimm's Opening Festival," Professor McGonagall explained calmly, "By then the Grimm League would like to have all those who are either going to Hogwarts or any of her sister schools, going on a Gym Challenge or Contest Circuit, or had signed up for an Apprenticeship…at least those who decided to take the path of Pokemon," the Professor's eyes looked at her sternly, "Though even if the deadline is that day, we hope that the youngsters won't wait til the very last minute to accept the invitation,"

Aria stares at her without flinching but inside she shudders,"Note to self: do not piss her off. She looks scary as teacher," Speaking of Teacher, she turns her head to the woman who had given her hope, who had shown her the love of a mother…who had forgiven her for her foolish mistake. The woman frowns at the list a bit, turning to Uncle. "I thought you said that Hogwarts have been going down during the years,"

Uncle looked over her shoulder, both Logans ignoring the tsk of annoyance coming from the Professor while Remus rubs the back of his neck nervously, "Well I be…that's a bit more classes than I remembered having when I went to Hogwarts," he then smiles, "Seems like Champion Valmont finally sicked the Union's Department of Education on Dumbledore…"

"Good…that was one thing I was worried about sending Aria there," Teacher mutters before looking up, rolling her eyes at the frown on Professor McGonagall's face, "Don't worry…we always knew that we would have to let Aria go there, besides the fact that she has been wanting to go there since she was a little girl…well littler," she smirks at her apprentice.

"DON'T CALL ME SMALL YOU OLD HAG!" Remus blinks as Aria lunges for Mrs. Logan, but Mr. Logan sighs, grabbing the small girl as his wife laughs, "NO ONE CALLS ME SMALL AND GETS AWAY WITH IT NOT EVEN YOU TEACHER!"

Running her hand through her hair, ignoring Aria's screams of rage, Imelda looks to their two guests, "Don't worry about us waiting til the last minute. We will probably make a trip to Nevermore City next week…" she turns her gaze to Remus," "Your welcome to join us…" Remus. That is if you want?"

Aria blinks, looking over at Remus who turns to her, his amber eyes gazing at her. He gives a soft smile, Moony whining a bit, "I…would love nothing more…and would be honored,"

Aria stares a bit before she gives a smile.

If any of you had read fullmetal alchemist or watched the anime (at least brotherhood) yes Aria tried to bring her parents back. And as you can see...it didn't go well...and it changed her...while also taking away her arm and leg. Aria in this is taking inspiration from Edward Elric and Puss in Boots (the boots...she wearing the boots and can speak Paldean which is spanish . As I said the kitty cat has a grip on me!)

Her teacher, Imelda Logan, originally from Paldea started teaching her aura at age six, and after the incident when she was nine took her in. Her husband, Jonathan Logan is Aria's automail mechanic who she calls Uncle (everyone calls him Uncle) Imelda takes inspiration from Izumi Curtis while Uncle takes inspiration from Granny Piniko and Uncle from Jackie Cahn Adventures.

The Region of Grimm, instead of taking inspiration from Arthurian Mythology takes more inspiration from Fairy Tales. When I tried to do the old version I kept thinking of always adding merlin and all...but the thing is that I forgot that wizards and witches can be more than merlin. They're from Fairy Tales! (Thank you once again, Puss in Boots and the Last Wish)

Anyway I hope you all enjoy this fic! Please please please leave a comment!
