It's been a few weeks since Chell has been out of Aperture Science with her faithful Companion Cube. She managed to find an abandoned farmhouse a couple of miles from the Aperture Science with supplies that would last years. Chell hasn't found any sign of human life yet, but she was still optimistic about finding a living and breathing person. One day Chell was exploring the woods when she stumbled upon an area that belonged to Aperture Science with tents, lab equipment, construction vehicles, and white crates.
I didn't expect this to be out here, Chell thought
Chell discovered an Aperture Science spaceship with three trailers on the right side. The spacecraft was about the size of a tank. It had an Aperture Science signature orange color with its logo on its left side. Chell looked around one of the trailers to find books, notes about the spaceship, and a letter.
Dear Astronaut, we are testing this new Aperture Science spaceship. We want you to be the first to travel further into space where no man has gone before, making those NASA boys look silly. Now listen to the Lab boys and girls, and everything will go smoothly.

Chell wondered if the spaceship was still functional for however long the ship was abandoned. She left the trailer and went up to the ship to find a way to open it. But it seemed to be locked by a unique lock on the ship's right. Chell decided it would be best to look into the other two trailers. She went into the second trailer to find a blue, white and orange space suit with a helmet and boots that were just like the old ones she wore during testing. The only difference was they were black instead of white. Other than that, there were no keys. She checked the last trailer to find the key to the ship and a few computers, but at the end of the room was a Portal gun in a glass case. It wasn't like the ones she used in the past. It had a more blocky design. It had a blue and orange stripe on each side.
When Chell saw a camera in the corner of the room, she wondered if Glados was watching. But that was impossible as the ship was out of the facility, and there was no test to be made with one spaceship. She grabbed the keys and went into the spaceship. She opened the door to find it had two seats in the console, a cryo sleep bed, a dining table at the end, a couple of cabinets, and science equipment.
Hmm if I read some of the files and books in the trailers, I might be able to fly this if it could start and actually fly. Chell thought
She put the keys into the ship's ignition, and the engine started, and the whole ship turned on.
Time to learn to fly a spaceship, she thought.
For about a month, Chell learned all about ships and space travel. She kept her body in shape until the day she was ready. Since she can live without eating any food for months, she doesn't have to bring any on the trip. Now, she was ready to fly the spaceship. She put on the spacesuit and the new boots, then brought her companion cube and the portal gun into the ship. Chell started the ship, and she looked at the fuel. Surprisingly, it had tons of fuel left.
Alright, time for take-off, Chell thought
Chell got in gear, and the ship floated off the ground, then started to fly up in the air and fly straight into orbit. She kept the spaceship under control as the ship left the Earth's atmosphere, and she was out of space. This was the second time she was in space, and she wondered if Wheatly, and that other personality core were still floating. Then, a ship started to flash red lights and a warning.
What the hell is going, Chell thought.
She looked into the ship's radar and saw it said "wormhole approaching." Chell looked to see a black spirling black hole the ship was flying toward. Chell tried to fly the ship away from the wormhole, but it was too strong and it sucked up the ship. What was a minute in real-time, but for Chell, it felt like an hour of seeing millions of stars flying past her until she made it out of the wormhole. Before she could react, the ship flew into a moon, and she crash-landed into it on the belly side and hit the rock formation. Chell got knocked out from the impact and slumped onto her chair.
Luckily for her, someone saw the crash and decided to help her because she has nothing to do.
