*That was what we were hearing from our Dino Holders. Sad & scared voices pleading for help*
Max: How? How can we help?
Rex: Can you tell us who you are?
*The voices didn't answer the question*
Maya: I don't think they can hear us.
Zoe: Me neither.
*Soon, the glowing & voices stopped*
Dr. Spike Taylor: Hey, kids. Is there a problem with your Dino Holders?
Max: Dad, it's talking to us.
*Chomp & Lulu just shook their heads*

(Maya's POV)
*We went to the D-Lab & told Dr. Taylor what had happened*
Dr. Spike Taylor: It was asking you for help?
Rex: Yeah.
Maya: Do you think it was the Dinosaurs trying to talk to us through the stones?
Dr. Spike Taylor: Hmm. It's a definite possibility. They could be asking for protection from those Alpha Gang members you came up against.
Max: I wonder who they were.
Rex: Me too. They attack Chomp and Lulu with their T-Rex for no reason and then when Chomp gave it an electric charge, it turns into a card.
Zoe: None it makes any sense at all.
Maya:*in her mind* And why were those people so familiar to me?
*While we were talking, Chomp was attacking a T-Rex skeleton & Lulu was napping at my feet*
Max: I betcha they found some stones too, huh?
Rex: Yeah. Probably.
*Just then, Zoe's older sister, Reese (a woman with long blonde hair, pale skin, purple eyes, & wearing glasses, a white lab coat over a green top, a brown mini skirt, & dark red high heels) came down the stairs*
Reese: Zoe. You're supposed to call before stopping by.
Zoe: Oh, I forgot.
Reese: That's alright. Dr. Taylor, you have a phone call coming in from Dr. Owen.
*She held up a cell phone with a picture of an adult man with dirty blonde hair & beard, light tan skin, turquoise eyes & wearing a brown hat, glasses, a brown vest over a aquamarine shirt, a black bolo tie, brown pants, turquoise stockings, & brown shoes*
Rex: Our Dad?
Dr. Spike Taylor:*searching his vest* I'm always loosing that thing.
*He laughed nervously*
*Later, he answered the phone on the big screen & our Dad appeared*
Dr. Spike Taylor: Ah, hello Dr. Owen. Dug up anything new?
Dr. Owen: I found a funny bone *he then made a silly pose while laughing* What's all the fossil about?
*Dr. Taylor did the same thing*
Dr. Spike Taylor: Dinosaur jokes.
*Then they both started doing a silly dance that they do everytime they see each other*
Dr. Owen & Dr. Spike Taylor: What made Dinosaurs extinct? Not taking a bath we think. Dig it?
*All four of us groaned*
Dr. Spike Taylor: Think? Sink? Smelly dinosaurs. Yep, it's still funny.
Dr. Owen: Ha! I have some news regarding those Dinosaur cards you told me about.
Dr. Spike Taylor: Yes?
Dr. Owen: More cards have been found.
All: What!?
Dr. Owen: I'm calling from a Dinosaur excavation site in Alberta Canada. And while we came across several fossils and artifacts on our dig, we also discovered . . . . Two more cards!
*Daddy held up two cards. Each had a picture of a different Dinosaur on it*
Rex: Carnotaurus!
Zoe: And a Parasaurolophus!
*Daddy flipped the cards around revealing the symbols on the back*
Rex: The Carnotaurus card had a wind symbol!
Zoe: And the Parasaurolophus card has grass!
Dr. Owen: Ah! Rex! Maya! Is that you?
Maya: Daddy, we've been here the whole time.
Dr. Owen: I sure hope you two are remembering your manners in while your staying at the Taylor's house. Do I need to give my speech again?
Rex: No thanks! We're fine! But do you think maybe you could send those cards here to us?
Dr. Owen: I sure can. I'll overnight them to the lab and you should have them first thing tomorrow morning. I look forward to hearing your analysis, Dr. Taylor.
Dr. Spike Taylor: It'll be my pleasure, Dr. Owen.
*Suddenly, Chomp bit Max on the leg & he fell to the floor. They started wrestling*
Dr. Owen: Thank you for taking care of Rex and Maya. And Rex, Maya, you're both very lucky to be staying with Dr. Taylor. You both can learn a lot from him, so pay close attention and work hard.
Rex: Yeah.
Maya: We will, Daddy.
Dr. Owen: I've got to get back to the dig now, but I'll send these cards out right away. Call if you need anything.
Dr. Spike Taylor: Thank you.
Max: Stop bitting me, Chomp! Please!
Rex:*to Zoe* Those cards match the markings on our stones. Know what that means?
Zoe: Yeah, you and I might have our own dinosaurs by tomorrow.
Rex: Awesome!
Zoe: I hope I get a really cute one!
Maya: I hope our dinosaurs will become great friends.
Zoe: Me too.
*Dr. Taylor quickly became jealous*
Dr. Spike Taylor: What about me!? If anyone should have dinosaur, it's me! *he went over to our Dino Holders* I need one of these!
*He started trying to get them to work for him*
Max: Uh, Dad . . .
*Reese came over with four large books*
Reese: The stones have chosen Max and the others because they touched them first. Try to get a hold of yourself.
Dr. Spike Taylor: I know. I will.
Zoe: Hey, what are those huge books you got?
Reese: Dino Holder Manuals.
Max: Do we really need a manual?
*Reese started holding Dr. Taylor in an arm lock while she explained them to us*
Reese: Yes.
Dr. Spike Taylor: I give up!
Reese: They're to be used for more than just swiping your cards. There's a carrier that holds the stones and extra cards as well. *she threw each of us a book* It was a lot of work making them, so read the manual thoroughly.
Zoe: This'll take year to read!
Reese: And the problem is?
*She tightened her grip on Dr. Taylor's wrist. We each opened our manuals*
Max: Maybe you and Dad could just show us how to us them.
Zoe: Hey you might like to spend your whole life studying, but some of us like to do fun stuff too! Maybe you should try it sometime.
*Her grip went really tight & then she dropped Dr. Taylor*
Max: So Dad, what's going on? I thought you said we were gonna keep Chomp and the cards and all that stuff a secret from everyone.
Maya: Did you change your mind and tell every dinosaur expert in the world about it?
Dr. Spike Taylor: Relax, Maya. Your Dad is the only other person who knows besides us. He is my colleague after all and I've learned a lot from him. I thought he'd be helpful in studying this case.
Rex: You're forgetting. There's others who know about it.
Dr. Spike Taylor: Who?
Max: Remember? The Alpha Gang!
(Third-Person POV)
*Right now, Ursula, Zander, & Ed were in one of Dr. Z's labs, watching him throw fit. Rod & Laura were on either side of him. Seth stood off to the side*
Dr. Z: Unacceptable! Unacceptable! How did those meddling kids get their hands on my cards!? And why couldn't you four get them back!?
Laura: Grandpa, I think the energy level is too high.
Rod: She's right. And the way we pieced this equipment together, it could blow at any minute.
Ed: And that's not the only thing.
Dr. Z: You fools! Do you think this is a joke!? Move cards are my trade mark! And when they're finally complete, I will teach those kids a lesson once and for all! *Seth left the room* Since my crack team of professionals couldn't do it, I'll have to take it upon myself! I'll bring those kids to tears!
*The machines started to glow brightly. Rod & Laura started to leave the room*
Laura: Okay, Grandpa, I've got some homework to do.
Rod: Yeah. Me too.
*The machines started sparking. Ursula, Zander, & Ed flinched*
Ursula: I think I hear Seth calling!
Zander: And I think hear, uh . . . My Mother calling!
Ed: I hear . . . Nature calling.
*We started to leave too*
Dr. Z: Stop right there! *we stopped in our tracks* You'll stay until my invention is complete.
Ursula, Zander, & Ed: Yes, sir . . .
*The machines started to get really bright*
Dr. Z: Which should be any minute now.
*Then the machines exploded, destroy the lab. The blast destroyed their clothes. Ursula, Zander, & Ed fell to the ground, twitching. Terry ran past them. Helga then stepped up to a black Dr. Z*
Helga: I'd like to speak with you in private, Dr. Z. *Dr. Z flinched at the sound of her voice* But in the meantime, I want this mess cleaned up by dinnertime or there will be no dinnertime!
*Dr. Z started crying*
*Later, Dr. Z, Ursula, Zander, & Ed were all at the table eating dinner. Terry was eating out of a dog bowl. Dr. Z was trying to hide some of his food under his plate. Just then, the Alpha Scanner started beeping*
Dr. Z: The Alpha Search has activated!
Helga: Dr. Z! No toys at the dinner table!
Dr. Z: I know that. But I can't eat at a time like this. One of my missing cards has been located Ursula! Zander! And Ed. We're off on a capture mission!
Ursula, Zander, & Ed: Yes, sir!
Helga: No, you're not! *we all flinched* No one will be going anywhere until I see every plate is clean!
Dr. Z: Right . . .
Helga: And don't think you're fooling anyone, Doctor. I can those vegetables you're hiding under your plate.
Dr. Z: They're not mine, they're Ed's!
Helga: I wasn't asking!
*There was a crashing sound as Terry walked away, having finished his dinner*
(Maya's POV)
*Me, Rex, & Max were sitting down eating dinner with Max's parents*
Rex: Dr. Taylor. Do you have any idea when the cards are gonna get here?
Dr. Spike Taylor: Well, your Dad said he'd shop them double express, which means they'll arrive at exactly 7:12 tomorrow morning. Give or take.
Rex: Man, I can hardly wait to! I might have a partner of my own soon!
*Just then, I noticed Max giving Chomp his vegetables*
Maya:*whispering* I can see that.
*Max flinched*
Aki: What do you mean by partner?
Dr. Spike Taylor: Right! Well Rex is thinking about getting a dog just like Chomp & Lulu, isn't that right, Rex?
Rex: Well, maybe.
Aki: So, then we'll have three dogs? Don't forget who's taking care of them
Rex: I know.
*Mrs. Taylor turned to Max*
Aki: I don't believe it. Max, you ate all your green peppers and your carrots.
Max: Yeah. You made the vegetables extra specially good this time, Mom. So I'm gonna have even more. If that's okay with you? Pass the broccoli, please.
Aki: My goodness. *Max gave Chomp a wink. I rolled my eyes. suddenly, my phone started ringing* Maya, no cell phones at the dinner table.
Maya: It's Zoe. I'll take it over here. *I got up & went towards the TV area. I answered it* Hey, Zoe. What's up?
Zoe: Go turn on the News! Hurry up! Don't just stand there, Maya!
Maya: The News?
*I turned on the TV & the News popped up. It showed a big purple dinosaur with a fin on it's back walking past the Sphinx. People were running away from it. Dr. Taylor ran in from of the TV when he heard it's roar*
Dr. Taylor: Another Dinosaur! And this time it's a Spinosaurus!
Reporter: We've just received this footage from Egypt at the famous Pyramids of Giza where a real dinosaur appeared earlier today.
Maya, Max, & Dr. Spike Taylor: No way!
Rex: In Egypt?
*Suddenly, our Dino Holders started beeping*
Maya, Rex, & Max: What's this light?
Reporter: Hundreds of tourists were forced to flee the scene. But fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries. Now a word from our sponsor.
*We met up with Zoe & Reese at the D-Lab*
Dr. Spike Taylor: What!? There are no flights out until tomorrow night!? That can't be! Look, you've gotta help me! I must get to Egypt right away!
Max: Hey, is there anything in the manual about the Dino Holder lighting up like this?
Reese: Does that mean you haven't read it.
Rex: I did. The whole thing.
Maya: Me to.
Max: How!? You guys must've skipped some and gone right to the end.
Rex: No we didn't.
*Zoe opened her manual*
Zoe: I know how! Most of these pages are totally blank! What's the deal, Reese?
Reese: There's still so much about the cards and the stones that we yet to understand. So now everytime that we make a new discovery, we'll then add it to your manuals.
Zoe: Too much time on your hands?
Reese: Well . . . That's interesting. The Dino Holder seems to be in sync with the map.
Maya: Look! Egypt is glowing!
Zoe: That's where the Spinosaurus appeared.
Maya: So then that means it was telling us when a dinosaur appeared.
Reese: That's exactly right.
Dr. Spike Taylor: No way! Fo shizzle my dizzle, dog!
Max: Dad, maybe you should stop watching so many music videos, okay.
Zoe: So what now? There's really nothing we can do about it from here.
Reese: Well now, this is peculiar.
Maya: What?
*There were a bunch of lines going connected to Egypt all over the map*
Reese: These lines are connecting the Dino Holders to the Dinosaur's location.
Max: Whoa.
Reese: Could possibly be . . .
*Me, Rex, Max, & Zoe all stood on a platform. Dr. Taylor was putting some other stuff on the platform*
Max: You really think you can teleport us to wherever the Dinosaurs are, Reese?
Reese: I believe the Dinosaur search function and the transport function work together. Now we just need to do a test run.
Maya: Is that dangerous?
Reese: It'll be fine. Probably. *Zoe groaned* All of the technology is in here. So just push the but and you'll be transported to Egypt.
*Dr. Taylor came up to us with a spear & a bunch of other archeology stuff*
Dr. Spike Taylor: You can't go without me. I'm a Paleontologist! A Dinosaur Expert could come in handy out there!
Max: Great. Let's go.
*Dr. Taylor sat in front of us*
Dr. Spike Taylor: Yes!
*Max & I pressed a button on our Dino Holders & a bright rainbow light filled our eyes*
(Third-Person POV)
*Max, Chomp, Maya, & Lulu disappeared*
Dr. Spike Taylor: Hey . . .
Rex: They're gone!
Zoe: So, it only works on Max, Chomp, Maya, & Lulu.
Reese: Note to myself. Only those with a Dinosaur and a stone can be transported.
Dr. Spike Taylor:*tears in his eyes* I wanted to go!
(Maya's POV)
*When the light died, we found ourselves in Egypt. We looked around until we saw a very familiar looking Dinosaur*
Max: That Tyrannosaurus is here too!
*The Tyrannosaurus headbutted the Spinosaurus, knocking it back. Max & I freaked out when it came really close to us. Just then, it glowed in a blue light & turned back into a card*
Maya: A Spinosaurus card.
Zander:*off-screen* That's not yours! *we looked up & saw a flying ship with the Alpha Gang logo on the sides. a claw came out of it, grabbed the cards & pulled them into the ship, before Mac could grab it* Mission accomplished!
Ursula:*off-screen* But now it's time for some big fat revenge! Go on, Terry! Get them!
*The Tyrannosaurus turned towards us*
Max: Uh oh. Ready Chomp?
Maya: Let's do this, Lulu.
*We both pressed a button on our Dino Holders & Chomp & Lulu turned into cards*
Max: Let's go! Dino Slash! Go! Triceratops!
Maya: Dino Slash! It's time to shine, Lambeosaurus!
*Chomp & Lulu grew to their full size & roared*
Max: Now we've got em. Go for it, Chomp!
Maya: Get him, Lulu!
*Chomp & Lulu charged at Terry. Chomp & Terry butted heads, until Lulu head-butted Terry from the side, knocking him off his feet. Terry stood up, charged at Chomp & bit him in the neck. He then threw him to the side & hit Lulu with his tail*
Max: Oh no!
Maya: Lulu!
*Terry charged at Chomp & started pushing him towards the Sphinx with his head. Chomp roared in pain. He then went back & did the same to Lulu*
Max: Get up! Come on! You can do it, Chomp!
Maya: Lulu, stay strong!
*Terry hit both of them with multiple head-butts. A red light flashed on our Dino Holders*
Max: Oh yeah. I'll use Electric Charge.
*He was about get the card out, but I stopped him*
Maya: Hold on. *he looked like me* Let me & Lulu do the honors this time
Max: You got it.
*I pressed a button on my Dino Holder & card with a picture of Lulu sending out a beam of light from her horn on it came out. Suddenly, the Spinosaurus appeared from the Alpha Gang's ship, destroying it. It then landed on the ground in front of me, knocking the cars out of my hand*
Max: Maya!
*I landed on my bottom*
Maya: My move card!
*I then flinched when I saw the Spinosaurus in front of me. I screamed at it looked ready to eat me. Chomp & Lulu were still getting beat up by Terry. Suddenly, Max stood in front of me*
Max: Leave her alone, you scaly bully! *I blushed at his attempt to protect me* I think now's a good time for Electric Charge.
*Suddenly, a light blue & green light appeared on either side of us. The lights soon died revealing . . .*
Maya: Rex!
Max: Zoe!
Max: Are you ready, Zoe!?
Zoe: Let's go!
*They each pulled out a card*
Rex: Dino Slash! You can do it, Carnotaurus!
*A full sized Carnotaurus appeared*
Zoe: Go! Dino Slash! Come on out, Parasaurolophus!
*A full sized Parasaurolophus appeared. Max & I looked surprised at what we saw. The Carnotaurus & the Parasaurolophus charged at the Spinosaurus, knocking it over. I then picked up my move card & ran towards the Sphinx*
Maya: Lulu!
*Chomp & Lulu looked really weak as Terry roared at us. Suddenly, the Carnotaurus charged at Terry, knocking him back. Terry ran away, but the Carnotaurus chased after him*
Max: Oh no! I think Chomp & Lulu are hurt!
Zoe: Don't worry, Max! This'll help! *she swiped a card in her Dino Holder* Nature's Blessing! Re-Energize Chomp and Lulu! *The Parasaurolophus sent a flurry a glowing leaves at Chomp & Lulu. The leaves seemed to heal them as they stood up & roared* Awesome!
Maya: What was that?
Zoe: That was one of her moves.
Max: That was great.
Rex: Max! Maya! Let's use our moves all at once to finish this up.
Maya: What? You have a move card too?
Rex: Yeah. *he swiped a card in his Dino Holder* Cyclone!
*A tornado came out of the sky & surrounded the Carnotaurus. It was then surrounded by a whipping winds. It charged at the Spinosaurus, grabbed it by the tail & swung it around. It let get & the Spinosaurus hit one of the pyramids*
Maya: All right! It's our turn, Lulu! *I took out my move card & swiped it* Thorn Whip!
*A massive thorny vine will burst out of the ground & smacked Terry, causing damage*
Max: Electric Charge!
Maya: Max, no! If you do it from this angle it's going to hit the - *he swiped the card & Chomp was hit by a bolt of lightning. he then charged at Terry, making fly backwards. he hit the head of the Sphinx, causing it the break as he turned back into a card* Sphinx.
Max: Oops.
*The Spinosaurus also turned back into a card. We all cheered, even though I felt bad about the damage we caused. Chomp & Lulu roared in victory. Suddenly, something swiped the Spinosaurus card really fast. Then a claw grabbed Terry's card as Max was about to pick it up. We heard laughter & then three mummies appeared, riding a camel*
Zander: Who's your mummy now?
*The mummies took their bandages off to reveal the Alpha Gang*
Ursula: My Terry may have lost, but he's my loser!
Zoe: Look who it is, you guys! That old lady again!
Ursula:*annoyed* What did you say? *Zander, & Ed snickered until she hit got them on the head with her elbows* Listen here! You obviously need to learn the difference between old and experienced!
Zoe: Oh. Sorry, I guess I thought they meant the same thing.
Ursula: Really!? Well, there's a big difference! *suddenly, she started looking scared. I had a feel it was because our Dinosaurs were behind us* And you can be sure that I'll be back to explain it another time! But for now, the Alpha Gang must be on their way! Go! *she kicked the camel with her high heel & it started moving backwards* Where are we going!?
Zander: The wrong way! That's where!
Ed: We're stuck in reverse!
*Soon, they were out of sight*
Max: They keep getting weirder.
Rex: Hey, guys. Wanna meet Ace? *he swiped his card & a mini version of the Carnotaurus appeared* It's a perfect name for him, 'cause it means number 1 and he's my first Dinosaur.
*Zoe swiped her card & a mini version of the Parasaurolophus appeared*
Zoe: And this is Paris.
Max: So, what's Paris mean?
Zoe: Well, she's a Parasaurolophus, but Paris is a much cuter name. Like it?
*Paris did a little happy dance.
Max: Cool!
*I smiled & picked up Lulu*
Maya: This is Lulu.
Max: And this is Chomp. We're all gonna make a great team. Ah! I just remembered! I don't know how to get back home!
Rex: It's in the manual. We just have to operate the Dino Holder in reverse and we'll go back to where we came from. *my brother started to look around* Can you believe this? We're really in Egypt. Wow.
Maya: Hey! I just had an awesome idea!
*We called Reese & told her our plans*
Reese: What do you mean you're staying an extra week?
Zoe: Well, since none of us have ever been to Egypt before.
Rex: We might has well stay and do a little sight seeing.
Maya: And there are a lot of things I wanna draw here.
Max: See ya!
Reese: Hold on a minute!
*We hung up & went to enjoy our vacation*
(Third-Person POV)
*Meanwhile, on Zeta Point, Dr. Z stood in front of a tank full of liquid. A card was floating in the middle of it*
Dr. Z: Yes! I did it! It finally worked! My Move Card is completed! *he looked around when he heard silence* Where is everybody?
*Rod & Laura came into the room*
Rod: So it is done, Grandpa?
Dr. Z: That's right, children! Pretty impressive wouldn't you say? Now I just need to restore more and more Move Cards and I'll build a Dinosaur Kingdom that is unstoppable. Hey. Aren't those three fools back from Egypt yet!?
Laura: No. Maybe they're having too much fun.
(Vanessa's POV)
*Ursula, Zander, & Ed were currently chasing the camel we rode away on*
Ursula: Don't dessert us in the desert!
Ed: Lucky for us it's a rental, huh?
Zander: Lucky for you! We put that camel on my card! Come back here!
