My last couple of stories featured a crossover with the Grimm tv show and got dark so I decided before digging into a new story I'd write something that's dark in a totally different way. Forewarned, it's pure humor. It's a one shot and doesn't involve any episodes of any show. But it does take place just after Buffy meets Faith. In this story, Buffy ran into her while patrolling, not at the Bronze.

"Faith, this is Giles, my Watcher." Buffy introduced Faith to the middle age English man. "Giles, this is Faith, Kendra's replacement."
"Oh, nice to meet you." Giles smiled slightly at the young woman.
"Wow, B, if I'd known they come that young and cute, I'd have requested a transfer."
"Oooh." Buffy grimaced, but before she could comment further the library doors were pushed open and four people entered.
"Faith, let me introduce you to my friends." Buffy said.
"Sure, go ahead." The Boston born beauty said.
"Guys, this is Faith, the new Slayer. Faith, the redhead is Willow, our resident witch in training, the quiet guy next to her is her boyfriend, Oz, he's a werewolf, the tall boy is Xander and the other girl is Cordelia, his girlfriend, they're normal."
Cordelia snorted. "All this time and she still thinks we're normal, Dweeb Boy."
"I wonder why. I mean, Buffy, I've been helping you deal with vampires for a year and a half, how can you think I'm normal?" He sounded confused, because he was.
"Because you are normal, Xander. No super strength, like me, you're not studying Magic like Willow and you're not a werewolf, like Oz. You're normal."
"And yet you fail to notice that I don't get injured. Like, at all. I deal with vampires, way stronger than humans. I get thrown around, but I stake 'em and I don't get injured while doing it."
"You got a broken arm when Drusilla attacked the library." Buffy pointed out..
"Which healed in just a couple of weeks. And I don't need to study the kind of Magic Willow is studying, my family has some Talent of it's own."
"You're family has Talent, Xander?" Giles asked. "Who's your family? Not many families have natural Talent."
"My mother's family does, she's from New York and they've been there since before the country was founded."
"What's your family's name? I'm aware of a few families in New York that have Talent."
"Their name is Addams, Giles."
Giles started choking and gasping. "The Addams'?!" He exclaimed. "Which branch?"
"I'm related to Gomez Addams, he's my Mom's cousin. Actually, my cousins are coming to visit for Halloween, they heard about last year through the grapevine and are hoping for some excitement."
"Oh my. That's very interesting." He turned and walked into his office and soon hysterical, maybe even insane, laughter could be heard.
"Xander, is there something we should know about your family?" Buffy asked suspiciously.
"Aside from them being a naturally occuring mix of emo and goth, not really. Anyway, they'll be here in a few days, I'll introduce you."
"Is your Auntie Tish coming?" Cordelia asked,
"Yep, the whole family." He assured her.
"Good, it'll give me a chance to thank her in person for the lovely gift she sent me. We've certainly had a lot of fun with it, haven't we?" She grinned wickedly at him. "Even if you bent a couple of the spikes in it. Tough hide you have."
"There's a reason why beds of nails are relaxing, you know." He reminded her, confusing everyone.
"Xander, why didn't you ever mention these family members to me?" Willow asked, bewildered.
"You've met them, Willow. You just blanked it out because they scared you."
"Why did they scare me?"
"They didn't do it on purpose, you just couldn't handle them playing with a vampire."
"Xander, I thought you didn't find out about vampires until you met me?" Buffy asked.
"I never said that, you just assumed it. Anyway, they'll be here in a couple of days. I expect you not to try to slay them, even if Auntie Tish does dress like Drusilla. They're not vampires, just emo goths with Talent."
A couple of days later just after class, Xander passed Buffy and Willow in the hall. "My family's here." He told them. "Buffy, could you collect Faith and meet Cordelia and me? Auntie Tish says they've bought a great old place here in Sunnydale, once they got a wiff of the Hellmouth they decided they needed a vacation home here. I'll take you all over to meet them."
"Sure, see you later." She agreed. She turned to Willow. "He still hasn't explained why he thinks he's not normal, I hope we get some answers soon."
"Me too, I've been trying to remember these people and for the life of me, I can't. Hopefully when I see them I will." After class they met up with Xander and Cordelia, who were both wearing dark clothes.
"That's not your usual outfit, Xander." Buffy commented when she saw him.
"Because my usual clothes would be offense to my aunt and I won't insult her in her own home. Everyone ready to go? It'll be dark by the time we get there. Which is good, because we can play their favorite game." Curious, Buffy, Faith and Willow followed Xander and Cordelia. Buffy and Willow were both upset when they pulled up in front of the old mansion that was only a couple of blocks from the old Crawford Mansion, Angelus' old hang out, passing it hadn't made either of them happy. They hopped out and followed Xander up to the front door.
"No slaying, Buffy." He reminded her, before pulling a rope knotted like a hangman's noose and a deep gong sounded. The door opened and an even deeper voice intoned.
"You rang." It took everything Buffy had not to attack.
