bopdog111: We're back after seeing Kitamura's termination.

Ulrich362: It was something he very much deserved.

bopdog111: From what Emperor described.

Ulrich362: True, though that being said there's still one more obstacle standing between Yusaku and Lilly, and the information SOL has on the Lost Incident.

bopdog111: Akira Zaizen, Skye's brother.

Ulrich362: Will they be able to get past him? There's only one way to find out, enjoy the chapter.

"Akira." Playmaker said as he, and Nyx landed in front of Akira on the field.

"You came for this right Playmaker?" Akira asked referring to an orb behind him. "Information on the incident ten years ago?"

Playmaker nodded to him, "That's right."

"I understand why you would want that... but Playmaker." Akira started before closing his eyes. "You don't have to fight anymore, I know what happened which is why I'm asking you to leave the rest of this to me."

Playmaker only narrowed his eyes in a glare, "You don't know anything."

"I know more than you think... Yusaku Fujiki." Akira replied meeting his eyes. "I'm asking you to trust me, you and the others."

"Why would I do that?" Playmaker asked him not flinching even after the revealing of his name, "Your not the one who suffered 6 months cause of that."

"I know, and you shouldn't have ever gone through something like that." Akira agreed. "But you shouldn't live your life obsessed with revenge. You and your family should move forward. You have my word that I'll make sure the incident is brought to light. Trust me, we're on the same side right now."

"...You think I'm really doing this for revenge?" Playmaker asked him.

"Your crusade against the Knights of Hanoi make that quite clear." Akira answered. "You shouldn't let the incident consume your life."

"I'm not doing this for revenge." Playmaker told him before saying, "I'm doing this for something else."

Meanwhile...

In an office Emperor is sitting in a chair by himself staring at a screen at a lone camera seeing the three are in SOL's Data Bank letting Akira defend their data.

"If it isn't for revenge then why?" Akira asked him on Emperor's screen. "What reason do you have to spend so much of your life chasing demons of the past?"

"It's something you wouldn't understand. During the incident, I heard a voice that tells me to keep going. I thought it was my mind playing tricks but I later confirmed that it was real, and I believed that the Knights of Hanoi kidnapped him. And the reason why is simple." Playmaker said before revealing, "The Lost Incident's true name is the Hanoi Project!"

Akira's eyes widened slightly at that. "Even if that's true, you've done enough. Trust that I can handle the rest for you."

He then shook his head before activating his Duel Disk.

"If my words won't get through to you then these are my terms. If I defeat you right here and now, you'll entrust everything to me and live a peaceful life with your family and friends."

Playmaker only stared before saying, "Very well Zaizen. Then I'll get the data by defeating you." He turned to Nyx saying, "Nyx, let me handle this one."

She looked at him before nodding. "Ok. But be careful."

Back at the Data Bank...

Playmaker armed himself with Akira as the Master Field Layout appeared in front of Akira, and Playmaker.

"You look like you need company." Ghost Gal's voice was heard beside Nyx.

She jumped before turning. "You... you're Ghost Girl!"

"The one, and only." Ghost Gal winked to her.

"How are you here? You gave us your key." Nyx pointed out.

"Why else? To spectate this match. It's not every day Akira gets to duel. His Deck is really tough, and is one of the top ranks of SOL's Duelists." Ghost Gal answered looking at Akira, "Plus, I'm a Bounty Hunter of SOL."

Nyx frowned at that turning to the duel herself.

"DUEL!" Playmaker and Akira called together.

"Maybe, only one way to find out." Ghost Gal mentioned.

Playmaker soon called, "Next, Micro Coder's ability allows me to add a Cynet card from my Deck to my hand." He added before calling, "And that card is Cynet Optimization!"

"So you researched my Deck." Playmaker said to Akira hearing that.

"No, I haven't." Akira admitted. "Under normal conditions the effect of Tindangle Trinity would summon Tindangle Base Gardna from my deck however thanks to your Cynet Optimization card that effect won't activate."

"Coming from you that's a compliment Playmaker, but don't think I intend on losing this duel." Akira replied. "That said, as skilled as I am there are several duelists who are far more skilled than I am."

He closed his eyes at that.

'Like you Sota... after this... maybe I should ask you about the incident, and why the inner circle is hiding so much?'

"Though tell me something. Why are you insisting for me to stand back? What the Hanoi Project was about has nothing to do with you." Playmaker told him.

Akira frowned. "You have a bright future, your family and friends all care about you... you shouldn't spend your life making up for the mistakes of others."

"Mistakes? I'm in this for more then doing that. Like I said before, I am determined to save who rescued me from giving up hope at the Hanoi Project, and believed the Knights of Hanoi had kidnapped him while I was suffering. Electrocuted, starved, and had no comfort or family." Playmaker told him before adding, "In addition their leader Varis told me, and Nyx that it wasn't the Knights of Hanoi that concocted the Hanoi Project, it was SOL Technologies that done so."

He clenched his hand before adding, "Then that would mean that SOL holds the secrets of the Hanoi Project, and what kind of involvement the Knights of Hanoi has in that project. Why they kidnapped me, who orchestrated all of that, what purpose can it serve... All those questions can be answered here in SOL's Data Bank. After we find out the truth, then we will focus on stopping the Knights of Hanoi from eliminating the Cyberse. I have a reason worth fighting for, that's not for revenge. "Then if we want to learn the truth about the Hanoi Project I need to beat you first." Playmaker noted.

Emperor shook his head, "I'm not here to fight you, or Nyx."

"Then... why are you here?" Nyx asked nervously.

"For a bit of a chat. Like say Playmaker, I can understand how you feel about the Hanoi Project." Emperor said turning to Playmaker.

"How could you know how I feel?" Playmaker questioned.

"...Your looking at someone who went through the same thing as you did." Emperor revealed.

"You were one of the taken?" Playmaker asked in shock.

"You could say that." Emperor answered with a slight nod, "Who can forget what happened? Electrocuted upon losing a duel, starved for god who knows how long, and don't have anyone with you for 6 months." He looked down, "It would've kept me down my life until, I managed to overcome it." He looked back to them before saying, "The point, I'm getting is that the Knights of Hanoi, and the Hanoi Project are connected more then you think."

He materialized a floating card in his hand rotating as he said to them, "But I won't bore you, and your family with details. You have more then earned the info you wanted for many years by beating Akira. I always knew he's better then Kitamura who slacks off. But now I fired his sorry ass, and now Akira can take back his deserved position." He gives the card to Playmaker, "Just remember Playmaker, I'm not an enemy, and neither is Akira. But the rest of SOL won't give any mercy to the Ignis if they catch them. Keep that in mind."

Playmaker caught the card before staring at Emperor. "I have a feeling this isn't the last time we'll meet, but I do have one more question."

"What is it?" he asked him.

"If you know everything... what's going to happen to Nyx?" Playmaker asked him.

"Me, and Akira will keep your identities a secret." Emperor answered with a soft smile, "Your secrets are safe with us."

Hearing that Playmaker nodded before he and Nyx logged out. Emperor meanwhile turned to Akira, and Blue Angel, "Like I said Akira, you got a promotion ahead, and Kitamura is fired for lacking of work."

"I'm... truly honored, I don't deserve this." Akira admitted quietly.

"You more then did." Emperor smiled to him.

Akira just looked stunned before slowly nodding.
