bopdog111: Well someone has came in.

Ulrich362: True, but who is this mysterious young man?

bopdog111: Let us find out who he is.

Ulrich362: Sounds good to me, oh but also for the record in response to a guest review from Jason... Ai will duel in this chapter. Enjoy the chapter.

Blue Girl, Yusaku, Ai, Bit, and Boot were all staring at the mysterious young man who had suddenly appeared and was racing towards them on his Duel Board.

"Playmaker, Blue Girl you two alright to go on?" the young man asked them.

"Who are you?" Playmaker questioned.

"I'm a friend, the name's Soulburner." the young man introduced.

Suddenly what rise from his Duel Disk was an Ignis that's dark red with red lines, and a flame hair design on his head, "And I'm Flame. Nice to see you."

"That crimsonian clad human is also in possession of an Ignis." Boot noted seeing that.

"Flame, you're ok." Ai cried seeing him.

"Well DARK Ignis it's been a while." Flame greeted before turning towards Blue Angel's Disk Duel where the Water Ignis is, "And WATER Ignis, your safe too."

"It's actually Ai." Ai mentioned.

Flame blinked. "Don't tell me you're called that because you're an AI."

"What, of course not..." Ai mentioned awkwardly.

"That's exactly why." the Water Ignis mentioned only to turn. "We need to get past these two, the ones who are escaping stole something we need to get back."

"Right." Soulburner nodded before saying, "Me, and Flame will handle these two go after the escapees."

"Right thanks." Playmaker nodded turning to Blue Girl who met his eyes as they raced after Bohman and Harlin.

"Oh one thing first!" Soulburner said which they looked back, and he said to Blue Maiden, and the Water Ignis, "Miyu, and the EARTH Ignis are looking for you both."

Blue Girl froze hearing that as she put a hand over her heart. 'That... did he just say Miyu? It couldn't be, could it?'

The Water Ignis meanwhile gasped and started to tear up. "They're both safe, and together."

"EARTH Ignis?" Ai asked shocked before calling to Playmaker, "Hey Playmaker let's hurry, and catch those two before they get away!"

"Right!" Playmaker nodded before turning to Blue Girl. "Come on Blue Gal, let's let Soulburner take care of those two!"

"Right." Blue Girl nodded.

The two flew out while they watched before Soulburner turned to Flame, "Alright Flame, let's get these two out of the way!"

"I was just thinking the same thing." Flame nodded.

They turned over to the two AI as the light green one said over to the orange one, "Now we have to claim the FIRE Ignis. Change of plans, Bit."

"Agreed, Boot." Bit said as they both nodded

"Combine sequence initiated!" the two declared before jumping up combining with Bit at the left side, and Boot at the right side, "Sequence complete! We are BitBoot!"

"BitBoot?" Flame asked.

"They combined together?" Soulburner asked seeing that. "Well, that should make things faster."

With that the two flew together calling, "SPEED DUEL!"

"We can break our circuit!"

"The summoning conditions are two D-Scales!" the two declared as the two monsters flew to the Left, and Bottom arrows, "We Link Summon! Link 2, D-Scale Battle Coela!"

A black, and blue fish looking mechanical appeared.

"They're starting off pretty strong." Soulburner admitted seeing that.

"And then we equip Coela with D-Scale Torpedo!" Bit called playing an equip spell as Coela was equipped with a cannon.

(Equipped to D-Scale Battle Coela)

D-Scale Torpedo

Equip Spell Card

Equip only to a "D-Scale" monster. Once per turn: You can inflict 800 damage to your opponent for each time the equipped monster moved to a different zone.

D-Scale Battle Coela: (Equipped with D-Scale Torpedo)

"Now we move Battle Coela to the Main Monster Zone it points too!" Boot activated as Coela moved back.

"I don't like the sound of that." Soulburner frowned seeing that.

"Neither do I, be prepared for anything Soulburner." Flame advised him.

"And now I activate my Skill, Marker's Portal!" Bit called.

Marker's Portal

Bit's Skill

Can be used if your LP is lower than it was at the start of the Duel. Activate 1 Link Spell Card from your Deck. The card activated by this Skill cannot be negated or destroyed by your opponent's card effects.

"If our Life Points are lower then our original while there is a Spell/Trap Zone opened to where Battle Colea points too, I activate a Link Spell from my Deck!" Bit takes a card calling, "I activate the Link Spell, Judgement Arrows!"

The same Link Spell that Harlin, and Bohman used appeared on there field.

Judgement Arrows

Link Markers: Top-Right, Top, Top-Left
You can only activate "Judgment Arrows" in your Spell & Trap Zone a Link Monster points to, also you can only control 1 "Judgment Arrows". If a Link Monster this card points to battles, its ATK is doubled during damage calculation only. When this card leaves the field while it points to a monster(s), destroy all those monsters.

"So that's the Link Spell I heard about." Soulburner frowned seeing it.

"And now we activate Battle Coela's ability to move it next to a zone a card linked to it points too!" From Boot's words Battle Coela moved to a zone on it's left which Bit added, "Now quake at our combo. We activate Torpedo's effect! Each time the equipped monster moved to different zones this turn you take 800 points of damage!"

The torpedo machine opened showing missiles which fired two at Soulburner. His eyes widened as he cried out being hit by the missiles.

(Soulburner: 2400/Hand: 4)

"You alright Soulburner?" Flame asked him concerned.

"Yeah, I'm alright." he reassured Flame.

"This is our mightiest combo. Battle Coela, Torpedo, and Judgement Arrows formed a perfect combo." Boot said to him Bit added, "We called it 'Voyage to Hell'. As Battle Coela moves quake in fear. We end our turn."

BitBoot's Hand: 2/Field: D-Scale Battle Coela (Attack Position/Equipped with D-Scale Torpedo), Judgement Arrows (face-up), D-Scale Torpedo (Equipped to D-Scale Battle Coela)

Soulburner 1st Turn:

"Can't attack on the first turn, and already a lot of damage is dealt..." Soulburner said before grinning, "This could be interesting. I draw!" He drew looking, and grinned, "Okay I use Burning Draw!"

Burning Draw

Normal Spell Card

(This card is always treated as a "Salamangreat" card.)
If your opponent controls more cards than you do: Target 1 Link Monster your opponent controls; draw cards equal to its Link Rating. You can only activate 1 "Burning Draw" per turn. You cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this card, except FIRE monsters.

"As you have more cards then I do on the field, I draw a card equal to the Link Rating of one Link Monster on the field however I can only summon FIRE monsters this turn!" Soulburner drew two cards looking at them.

"Draw whatever you want, you'll still lose and we'll be taking that Ignis from you." Boot mentioned.

"Well I start with Salamangreat Gazelle!"

What rose was a antelope like monster with flames on it's body.

You can only use each effect of "Salamangreat Gazelle" once per turn.

"Then as I Normal Summoned a Salamangreat, I can summon Salamangreat Fowl from my hand!"

You can send 1 "Salamangreat" card from your hand or face-up field to the GY, then target 1 Set Spell/Trap your opponent controls; that Set card cannot be activated this turn.

"As Gazelle is summoned I send Salamangreat Spinny from my Deck to the graveyard!" Soulburner sent a card before adding, "And as I have a Salamangreat, I can summon it from the graveyard!"

What rose up was a armadillo like monster with flames.

You can only use each effect of "Salamangreat Spinny" once per turn.

"Three monsters on your first turn?" Bit questioned seeing that.

"And ones I'm planning to use! Appear, circuit that changes the future!" Soulburner called as the circuit appeared again, "The summoning conditions are at least 2 Fire effect monsters!"

They entered the top, Bottom-Left, and Bottom-Right arrows.

"Link Summon! Link 3! Salamangreat Heatleo!"

"Link 3 already?" Bit inquired. "I suppose it makes sense someone in possession of an Ignis would be capable of at least that much."

"Well as Heatleo was Link Summoned a Spell or Trap Card on your field is shuffled into your Deck!" Soulburner called much to the AIs' shock, "Resounding Roar!"

Heatleo roared loud which forced Judgement Arrows off the field. Normally from Marker's Portal, it cannot be destroyed or negated by there opponent's effects but what Heatleo done is neither destroying or negating.

"When Judgement Arrows leaves the field, all monsters Linked to it are automatically destroyed." Bit frowned as Battle Coela shattered.

"And that leaves you open! Heatleo attack them directly!"

Heatleo charged forward swiping a flame claw striking the two as they cried out. (BitBoot: 1200/Hand: 2)

"Not bad but that's your only attack so once we take our turn-"

"Who says I'm done?" Soulburner grinned over which they blink before Soulburner shows a Quick-Play, "I activate Salamangreat Transcendence!"

Salamangreat Transcendence

Quick-Play Spell Card

Target 1 "Salamangreat" Link Monster you control; Special Summon 1 "Salamangreat" Link Monster with the same name from your Extra Deck, using that monster you control as the entire material. (This is treated as a Link Summon.) You can only activate 1 "Salamangreat Transcendence" per turn.

"This takes a Salamangreat Link Monster on my field, and I perform a Reincarnation Link Summon!"

Soulburner raised an arm as a flaming circle circuit appeared above them.

"A what?" Boot questioned.

"What kind of move is this?" Bit cried in shock.

Heatleo shot up entering the circuit.

"Surging flame, awaken Heatleo's true strength with the power of purification! Reincarnation Link Summon! Resurrect, the king of beasts that runs through the fire prairie! Salamangreat Heatleo!"

Heatleo shot out this time with a flaming fire mane roaring.

Salamangreat Heatleo: (Attack Position/Extra Monster Zone/Link Summoned with Salamangreat Heatleo)

"What do you think you're doing, you need at least two monsters to summon that thing." Boot pointed out.

"Reincarnation Link Summoning occurs by using just one monster to summon another copy!" Soulburner explained at that.

"Wait, but if you have... that means." Bit realized in shock.

"Since this is a newly summoned Heatleo, it can attack! Go!"

The new Heatleo charged in in a flaming jet tackling the two as they cried out crashing into a building.

Soulburner wins!

"...I'll be honest, I was NOT expecting my first time using the Deck to result in a One Turn Kill." Soulburner admitted to Flame looking at Heatleo's card.

"Perhaps, but it shows your natural talent with the Salamangreat cards." Flame mentioned.

Soulburner nodded before turning, "We better catch up!" He flew up to find Playmaker, and Blue Girl.

Meanwhile...

Harlin upon sensing something checked on a holographic screen on his wrist to see the two AI had split showing there were defeated, and were arguing with each other.

"Your faulty move cost us Bit!"

"No it was your mistakes!"

"Well your fired!"

"No your fired!"

"No, it's all your fault!"

"No, it's all your fault!"

"It's both your fault." Harlin pressed some buttons on his Duel Disk more then a little annoyed they couldn't do one simple job as flames popped on them deleting the two, "Well that takes care of that..."

"There they are!"

Hearing Ai's voice Harlin looked over seeing Playmaker, and Blue Girl are catching up as he sighed, "Seriously?"

"Stop right there!" Ai called. "You have nowhere to run!"

Harlin pressed a button as the wall which was a restricted area had opened up as he flew into it. Before they can follow the same firewall had opened up blocking the two from following. Seeing that they both stopped as Playmaker pressed his hand against the wall only for it to not budge.

"How did he do that?" Blue Girl questioned. "Who are they?"

Soulburner finding the two flew in as he guessed, "He got away?"

"Through here." Playmaker answered before frowning. "Do you know Cafe Nom?"

"Yeah." Soulburner nodded to him.

"Head there." Playmaker mentioned logging out as Blue Girl frowned.

"Do you know where Miyu and the EARTH Ignis are?" she asked him.

"There with me, I'll bring them over to Cafe Nom with me." Soulburner answered.

Blue Girl nodded. "Ok, thank you."

With that she logged out. Soulburner logged out too.

Outside...

Yusaku, and Skye exit Link VRAINS while Ai, and the female Ignis emerged from there Duel Disks while Ai voiced over, "Well those two creeps got away with whatever they done to Jin."

Cal gritted his teeth while staring at the computer screen before he sighed. "You two had done all you could. The only person to blame is me since I couldn't protect him enough."

"It wasn't your fault Cal, we were there too but we couldn't help either." Celina reminded him before frowning. "Those two will have to show up again sooner or later."

"On the otherhand we seem to have new friends with us." Yugo admitted from seeing Soulburner, and Flame during the battles.

"It looks like it." Zuzu nodded before frowning. "We should probably tell him about Lilly though right?"

"Yeah we should, if he has an Ignis he must have been connected to the incident." Yusaku nodded.

"And he also mentioned about a Miyu, and the EARTH Ignis." Ai added at that, "So now we have four new allies with us along with two more Ignis to help have a better future without humanity going out."

"Someone you know?" Rin asked her seeing that.

"That's not what I mean." Skye explained. "It's... when I was a little girl I really only had one friend, her name was Miyu Sugisaki, but one day she brought her mom's wedding ring to show me and we lost it. After that I was never able to see her again."

"She took the blame for losing the ring, and Miyu's mother banned her from playing with her again." the female Ignis added over. "I am Miyu's Ignis so I know about her, and Skye."

"Wait, if it's the same girl then it has to be your friend." Rin realized.

They nodded agreeing with this before a female voice broke out from behind Skye, and Yusaku, "Skye!"

Her eyes widened turning to the voice. Someone was running to her before Skye was embraced in a hug but she sees brown hair at the top of her head in a fashioned she remembers before while feeling tears on her shoulder.

"Miyu..." Skye whispered tearing up as she hugged her close.

"Well what do you know, Blue Girl really is her friend."

Hearing the voice they looked seeing a young boy having dual-layered hair; the more predominant top section is silver, while the bottom layer is reddish-orange, and wearing glasses while wearing a School Uniform resembling Yusaku's having a warm smile.

"And you would be?" Yuri inquired.

"Theodore Hamilton. Soulburner." the boy introduced raising his arm where Flame exited his Duel Disk to prove that.

"It's good to meet you Theodore." Yuya smiled offering his hand.

Theodore smiled taking his hand shaking it, "Please call me Theo."

Meanwhile the girl pulled back showing herself as a brown haired girl with hair down the nape of her neck with pigtails held by small yellow clips wearing a school uniform like Skye's having grey eyes.

"And..." she slowly wiped her eyes with a smile before bowing, "I'm Miyu Sugisaki. It's nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you." Lulu smiled.

Hearing someone clearing there throat Theodore bumped his elbow against Miyu's arm which she blinked before remembering, "Oh!" She raised her arm, "And... this is the EARTH Ignis."

What rose from her Duel Disk was a large muscular orange Ignis having a square head with black lines, and blue eyes looking serious, and stoic. Seeing that Skye smiled as the WATER Ignis emerged from her Duel Disk.

"Earth, it's good to see you." the WATER Ignis smiled seeing him.

"WATER Ignis... I was hoping your safe." the EARTH Ignis said in relief before he blinked, "Earth? Do you mean me?"

"Well yeah course she meant you as humans can't pronounce our real names. We just called you Earth a while back waiting for ya. I'm Ai by the way." Ai said as Yusaku raised his Duel Disk for Earth to see.

"And your called that as your an Ai?"

"What is it with people figuring that out?" AI asked grumbling a little remembering what gave him the name from Yusaku.

"It sounded too similar." Flame admitted over to him. "So we're guessing you haven't found both WIND, and LIGHT Ignises yet?"

"Not yet." the WATER Ignis admitted.

"Well we haven't managed to find them since we had the Hanoi on our backs for a while." Ai said to them, "And you two wouldn't believe what we gone through."

"Before you talk with us about it." the three Ignis looked at Earth confused who then asked Ai, "What is the WATER Ignis' name in human?"

"Oh well it's..." Ai started over before he then paused giving it some thought trying to remember before he then looked over to her, "...How did it slip pass us we never named ya?"

"I told you, Earth should be the one to choose." the WATER Ignis reminded him.

"Actually we tried naming ya before but something happened, and we just forgot." Yugo told her.

"Oh right, it's been a while." she admitted.

"Well... since she's the WATER Ignis how about Wa-"

"WAIT!" Earth quickly interrupted Ai with a raised hand, "I'll choose her name." Ai balked at being interrupted but only allowed Earth to continue as the Earth Ignis gives some thought, "Hm..." He then got an idea saying, "Aqua."

"Aqua?" the WATER Ignis asked before closing her eyes. "That sounds perfect."

"Well name aside what is it about Aqua that's more important then what happened with the Hanoi?" Flame asked Earth curiously.

Earth at that turned over to Ai, and the DARK Ignis remembers that stare he's giving him. "Uh, Earth...?"

"You didn't do anything with Aqua did you?"

Confused at that sentence Ai said to him, "Uh, what do you mean by that? We just stick by close together so we wouldn't get captured by the Hanoi."

"Hmm..." Earth stared before he narrowed his eyes, "Duel me Ai."

Needless to say everyone was not expecting that sudden duel challenge Earth had made.

"Huh, you're challenging me to a duel?" Ai asked in shock.

"Yes but with a stake." Earth looked at Ai seriously before he then proclaimed pointing at Ai. "Whoever wins will have Aqua's hand!"

That made almost everyone blinked from the odd stake. Earth's challenging him for Aqua's hand? Then again Aqua stated before to Yusaku that Earth is loyal, and really kind, and Ai described him as being fierce, and no-nonsense after Aqua sometimes scolds him for clowning around. And from Steve being attached to the Sunavalon cards, and his goals with the Hanoi he is also passionate about those around him which makes sense since there the same.

...Could this be an act of jealously?

But rather then thinking what the others are Ai was really confused over Earth's stake. "Her hand?" A thought bubble appeared in his head where he appeared really confused while holding one of Aqua's severed hands in his own hands with question marks around him before the bubble vanished. "I'm not sure what I want THAT for..." He then grew a grin over to Earth, "But I ain't one to turn down a challenge! Alright Earth let's duel!"

"Very well!" Earth at that lowered down in Miyu's Duel Disk vanishing signaling he just entered Link VRAINS to meet Ai there.

Aqua's eyes narrowed as she went into Link VRAINS herself clearly looking annoyed.

"...What just happened?" Theodore asked while blinking several times.

"I have NO idea." Flame admitted with a shrug while Ai quickly went to follow. "But we better head into Link VRAINS just to make sure nothing happens."

"Right." Skye nodded as the four of them who had the Ignis logged into Link Vrains.

Everyone else helped there bodies into Cafe Nom's food truck as Cal boot up Link VRAINS for them to spectate.

In Link VRAINS...

The party of eight appeared in a desolate dryland where Yusaku, Skye, Theodore, and Miyu turned into Playmaker, Blue Girl, Soulburner, and a long blonde haired princess wearing a ice crown, and a sky blue dress with long dark blue gloves appeared while the four Ignis appeared as themselves while Earth flew opposite of Ai facing him.

"Earth, what are you doing?" Aqua asked him. "The winner gets my hand?"

"I won't hold back my feelings, and I know to earn it, I have to take down the rival."

"Rival for her hand? I don't know what's up but I'm not one to turn down a challenge!" Ai meditated as a purple, and black ghost like figure appeared as he stand on it's arm.

Seeing it Playmaker's eyes narrowed recognizing the ghost, "That is..."

Meanwhile Earth crossed his arms meditating as a log nearby transformed into a sentient wooden figure with glowing yellow eyes before Earth moved standing on the wooden avatar's arm ready.

"Try to be quick, we don't want to get SOL Technologies attention if we can avoid it." Cal's voice mentioned.

"I don't think they can find us here." Miyu in her new Persona admitted looking around, "Wherever HERE is."

"Let us begin Ai!"

"Right Earth!"

"DUEL!"

Seeing Aqua looking REALLY annoyed Playmaker chat with her, "I know how you feel Aqua but let them have there fun." She turned to him as he said to her, "By the end of this we will learn something, and it'll do Earth good to let it out of his system."

"You have a point." she admitted turning to the duel. "Though, Earth was one of the best duelists among us and Ai was always too lazy to really duel."

"So how do you think this match will go?" Soulburner asked her while keeping his focus on the match.

"Earth will probably win." Aqua answered.

"I agree with her." Flame nodded.

Earth 1st Turn:

"I will make the first turn." Earth stated which Ai nodded before he called, "I activate the spell Cost Down!"

"Wait, shouldn't he play DARK Monsters?" Blue Girl asked seeing that. "That's a FIRE monster."

"Playmaker uses multiple attributes. Why can't I?" Ai despite his not bright personality did brought up a good point. Playmaker was his origin, and instead of using pure DARK monsters at least with the Cyberse Deck, he uses multiple attributes.

"Actually, I do use DARK Monsters." Playmaker pointed out.

"Well most of the time along with the Predaplant Deck." Ai turned back to the Duel, "Back to the duel since there is an Ignister on my field, I can summon these two! Hiyari, and Doshin Ignisters!"

"Well first before that, I use the Continuous Spell, You and A.I.!" Ai started off with a continuous spell showing himself with Linkuriboh, and Decode Talker.

● WIND/LIGHT: Negate the effects of 1 face-up card on the field until the end of this turn.

"Now appear the circuit that guides the dark!" Ai rang that true as the circuit appeared only for the three to fly up entering the bottom arrows.

"The creation of dark shadows! The wisdom of dark night scatters throughout the world! Dance! Whirl! The maelstrom gathers in my hand to become the power of rising vigor! The abyss-"

"Ai that's too long!" Aqua called over to him annoyed from how long the chant is going.

"Surpass limitations! Link Summon! Appear, Link 3 Dark Templar Ignister!"

What rose in his Extra Monster Zone was a monster resembling a Code Talker. It's shaped as darkened purple armor with a long sword while having bat shaped wings, and having the symbol on his shoulder plate readying.

Earth frowned seeing that.

"And as this card is summoned, I take Ignister A.I. Land to my hand." Ai said showing a card before saying, "Next Dark Templar's ability activates! But before that Dark Infant's second effect activates! As a Cyberse with 2300 original attack points is using it's ability it moves to a Zone it points too, and changes it's attribute to what I want!"

Dark Infant moved before his orbs changed from purple to bright green.

Dark Infant: (Attribute: WIND)

"What is he planning now?" Soulburner asked seeing that.

"Now Dark Templar's ability! As I Special Summoned a monster next to it's link, Dark Templar can summon Level 4 or lower Ignisters from my graveyard all to zones it points too!" Ai revealed at that while three graveyard portals appeared before Hiyari, Achichi, and Doshin all rose up.

This really amazed most of the crowd. Ai now has four Link Monsters on his field all at once that sets up a hard forefront. Only ones not surprised are Earth, and Playmaker but for different reasons.

"Ai... I had no idea you were capable of this much." Flame admitted in awe seeing that.

"I may like to joke, and clown around but I take dueling pretty seriously." Ai shrugged to them with a grin. "And now that the setups done it's time to battle! Alright Fire Phoenix charge in at G Golem Invalid Dolmen!"

Fire Phoenix cawed charging in at Invalid Dolmen.

"Huh, but why?" Miyu's avatar asked.

"It has a special ability." Playmaker answered.

"Correct Playmaker!" Ai called as Fire Phoenix fired a flaming blast which Invalid Dolmen pushed passed, "And that ability is when this card battles the battle damage we take becomes 0, however Earth you take damage equal to Fire Phoenix's attack points! But there's more!"

"Hmm?" Earth looked to see.

"I use the Quick-Play Spell, TA.I. Strike!" Ai uses a Quick-Play Spell.

TA.I. Strike

Quick-Play Spell Card

During damage calculation, if your monster battles an opponent's monster: Your battling monster's ATK becomes that opponent's monster's ATK, during that damage calculation only, also, the controller of any monster destroyed by that battle takes damage equal to its original ATK, at the end of the Damage Step. If your " Ignister" monster would be destroyed by battle, you can banish this card from your GY instead. You can only activate 1 "TA.I. Strike" per turn.

"With this Fire Phoenix's attack points becomes equal to Invalid Dolmen's!"

Fire Phoenix: (ATK: 2300 + 500 = 2800)

"And after the battle whoever's monsters are destroyed are dealt damage equal to the attack points of that monster!" Ai said to him which would mean Earth would take 5600 points of damage at once from this attack.

"An OTK?" Miyu's avatar asked shocked. "If this works, he's about to win the duel in one move."

"I activate the effect of G Golem Colliding Wall from my hand!" Earth called using a monster in his hand. "During the Battle Phase, I can send this card from my hand to the graveyard to halve all instances of damage I take this turn!"

With that the large battle ended with Invalid Dolmen, and Fire Phoenix destroyed while the two were hit from the attacks.

(Ai: 1700/Hand: 3)

(Earth: 1200/Hand: 0)

While wincing Earth called, "And now G Golem Invalid Dolmen's effect activates! When it's destroyed it negates the effects of all cards on your field until the end of this turn!"

The remains of Invalid Dolmen enveloped all of Ai's cards shutting down all there effects.

Dark Templar: (Effects Negated)

Linkuriboh: (Effects Negated)

Dark Infant: (Effects Negated)

You and A.I.: (Effects Negated)

"That's not enough though, Ai still can attack with his other monsters." Soulburner pointed out. "Even without their effects that's enough damage to end the duel."

Earth at that called, "If I didn't have this! I activate my face-down, Gravity Vision!"

Gravity Vision

Normal Trap Card

During the Battle Phase: Target 1 EARTH Link Monster in your GY that was destroyed by battle this turn and 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; Special Summon 1 "G Golem Token" (Cyberse/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0), and if you do, it gains DEF equal to the Link Rating of the targeted monster in the GY X 800. While that "G Golem Token" is in the Monster Zone, the targeted opponent's monster loses ATK equal to the DEF of "G Golem Token", also monsters your opponent controls cannot attack other monsters for attacks, except the "G Golem Token" that was Special Summoned by this effect.

"When my EARTH Link Monster is destroyed in battle this turn, I target both it, and Dark Templar on the field!" Earth called as his trap card glowed while Invalid Dolmen's card, and Dark Templar glowed. "I summon a G Golem Token to my field!"

Another Token popped up.

G Golem Token: (Defense Position)

"Then it gains 800 Defense Points equal to Invalid Dolmen's Link Rating, and Dark Templar loses Attack Points equal to how much it gained!"

G Golem Token: (DEF: 0 + (800 * 3) = 2400)

Dark Templar: (ATK: 2300 - (800 * 3) = 0)

"What will you do now Ai?" Playmaker asked calmly.

Ai looked shocked from this before he grunted taking his two cards otherside from A.I. Land, and set them, "I place 2 cards down, and end my turn. This means that Invalid Dolmen's ability is no longer in effect!"

All his cards regained there effects.

"Then it's my turn, I draw!" Earth drew.

Ai grunted before calling, "During your Standby Phase as Fire Phoenix was destroyed, and gone to the graveyard when Link Summoned, I can summon it back!" Fire Phoenix shot up again cawing, "And from that You and A.I. has summoned another Token!" Another Token popped up.

Fire Phoenix Ignister: (Attack Position)

Upon the monster's summoning the wasteland around them grew green glass, plants, and rivers began to flow around them. Aqua teared up seeing the monster.

"That, it's so beautiful." Miyu's avatar smiled.

"Yeah, it is." Blue Girl agreed.

"Hey... that's Aqua's card." Ai realized seeing it. "Earth why do you have it?"

"Before you, and her left she gave it to me." Earth said clenching a hand, "And make sure you know this." He points at Ai, "I won't let you lay a finger on Crystal Heart!"

Ai flinched at that.

"As Colliding Wall was sent to Link Summon a G Golem, I set a Gravity spell or trap card to the field!" Earth sets a card before he raised an arm, "Crystal Heart's ability activates! It can summon either an EARTH or WATER Link Monster from the graveyard so they can be co-linked!" Cracked formed in the ground. "Rise again Invalid Dolmen!"

At that Invalid Dolmen rose up under Crystal Heart.

Crystal Heart moved placing itself on Invalid Dolmen's chest powering it up.

"3600, but wait Ai still has..." Blue Girl trailed off seeing his field.

"Ah!" Ai flinched from this.

Ai grunted quickly calling, "I activate my face-down, A.I. Challenge You!" A trap showing Ai holding Dark Templar's sword against a silhouette of Playmaker in a Data Storm flipped.

"Every monster on your field lose 100 attack points for every card on my field!"

Since both Crystal Heart, and the G Golem Token don't have attack points only Invalid Dolmen loses some points.

G Golem Invalid Dolmen: (ATK: 3600 - (100 * 8) = 2800)

"That'll help, but Ai's still in trouble." Flame noted.

"I still have this! I activate another trap, A.I. Shadow!" Ai activated a second trap showing Ai winking.

(face-up)

A.I. Shadow

Continuous Trap Card

Activate this card by targeting 1 " Ignister" monster you control. That monster gains 800 ATK, also all monsters your opponent controls must attack that monster you control, if able. If this face-up card in its owner's Spell & Trap Zone has left the field because of an opponent's effect, and is now in the GY or banished: Draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "A.I. Shadow" once per turn.

"One Ignister gains 800 attack points!"

Fire Phoenix: (ATK: 2300 + 800 = 3100)

"And your monsters must attack Fire Phoenix!" Ai added a second effect.

"Wait, but if Earth attacks Fire Phoenix..." Aqua realized.

Earth stands knowing what can happen. He knows of Linkuriboh's ability, and when Invalid Dolmen attacks Ai can Tribute it, and A.I. Shadow has Invalid Dolmen forced to attack Fire Phoenix with 3200 points of damage dealt to him. Even if he survives from it, Crystal Heart will be forced to attack only Invalid Dolmen will shut down A.I. Shadow to protect himself but he had used Crystal Heart's effect so he can't re-summon Invalid Dolmen this turn, and the Token's defenses are limited since it only defends from one attack. Which means Earth will lose when he attacks.

However Playmaker, Soulburner, Blue Girl, and Miyu's avatar notice that Earth doesn't looked worried.

"Wait, he's up to something." Soulburner realized seeing that.

Earth stared before saying, "Invalid Dolmen..." He points, "Attack Fire Phoenix!"

Invalid Dolmen charged an arm at Fire Phoenix which shocked them as Ai called, "What!? I use Linky's ability!" Linkuriboh vanished from this. "By Tributing him Invalid Dolmen loses his attack points!"

"That's pointless!" Earth called as they noticed Invalid Dolmen isn't being affected. "While Invalid Dolmen is on the field all monsters I have that are co-linked are unaffected to your monster effects!"

And with a card gone on Ai's field Invalid Dolmen recovered a small amount of it's strength.

Invalid Dolmen: (ATK: 2800 + 100 = 2900)

"So that's it! Linkuriboh's ability won't work." Blue Girl realized.

Invalid Dolmen shot a fist as Fire Phoenix retaliated destroying Invalid Dolmen while Earth raised his arm to brace against the shockwaves. (Earth: 1000/Hand: 0) He then waved an arm, "Invalid Dolmen's effect activates!"

The smoke enveloped Ai's field again.

Earth wins!

"They both did very well, I'm surprised Ai was such a skilled duelist." Flame admitted.

Ai slowly raise up looking at Earth, "W-Well Earth... you won this one... which means now you get Aqua's hand whatever you need that for."

Earth softly nodded pleased that Ai isn't fighting him more for that as there cards vanished from the field.

"You two were amazing." Miyu's avatar admitted.

"Indeed, I wasn't aware you were such a talented duelist Ai. Consider me impressed." Flame nodded.

"Well like I said I may clown around a lot but I take dueling pretty seriously." Ai shrugged raising up only to blink seeing the look Playmaker is giving him. "What?"

"That Ghost avatar you were using, it was the same one when I got the Cyberse Deck." Playmaker said over to him.

Ai blinked before his eyes widen realizing he had summoned the ghost before he gave a small chuckle, "Well... it's a long story..."

"We will have plenty of time to chat once we get back, and the Knights of Hanoi meet up with us." Playmaker stated simply to him which caught everyone with him's attention that the Knights of Hanoi are meeting up with them.

"What!?" Soulburner questioned. "What are you talking about?"

"Like Ai tried to tell you all before Earth interrupt much had happened between us, and the Knights of Hanoi. It'll make more sense once we meet up with everyone. And Earth, Flame don't be concerned the Knights of Hanoi are not enemies right now." Playmaker said to them all. "Soulburner, and..." He looked to Miyu's avatar never receiving her VRAINS name.

"Elsa."

"Elsa." Playmaker nodded before saying to them, "I haven't forgotten what they done to us but right now the Knights of Hanoi are allies so try your best to tolerate them okay?"

"I... I'll try." Elsa nodded though Playmaker could see that she was nervous.

"Absolutely not, those monsters are the ones behind the incident, there's no way I'm ever working with those people!" Soulburner snapped with pure rage in his eyes.

"Hey-hey!" Ai raised his hands to him, "At least try to listen to what they have to say alright? The reason why for that incident, and our termination is really important."

"If it makes you feel any better, I'm sure there leader would have a match with you." Playmaker said to Soulburner knowing what he's going through.

Soulburner clenched his fists but didn't say anything at that as he just logged out. Everyone else followed him.

Outside of Link VRAINS...

Everyone moved out just as Yugo who was grinning turned over, "So... Earth gets the girl Ignis huh?"

"That was the term for the duel." Earth confirmed with a nod turning over to Aqua, "I can't hold back how much she means to me anymore."

Aqua stared at him. "I'm touched Earth, but you do not get my hand just for dueling Ai."

"Eh?" Ai blinked looking to her at that, "But isn't that what the term of the duel was? I mean, I have no idea what he wants your hand for, but it must've been really important for him to duel me for."

"He meant romantically Ai." Yusaku explained.

"Romantically?" Ai asked before he suddenly finally realizes what is going on. "Oh, wait he thinks me, and her are-" He quickly turned to Earth to deny. "Oh, no no no no no, me, and her are not like that at all we're not a thing at all!"

"You aren't?" Earth asked now confused with a tilted head under the impression Ai was really close to Aqua romantically.

"No, we're not. We're just really good friends just like we are right?" Ai asked him. "We are still friends right?"

Earth stared before he turned away while Flame notices the usually social-awkward Ignis now looked embarrassed while he softly pat his back, "Hey we been there, and done that at some point."

"Ahem."

Hearing someone clearing there throat they looked over to see the Knights of Hanoi had just arrived. Lilly on her part now wears a long sleeved purpled jacket with torn jeans while her hair now reaches her upper back with Ryoken had cleared his throat.

"I was told the EARTH, and FIRE Ignis are with you all?" Ryoken asked the group.

"That's right." Yusaku nodded while Lilly walked over to Miyu and Aqua.

"How have you been Aqua?" she asked with a small smile.

"I been doing good... for the most part." Aqua said the last part quietly. Seeing Lilly's confused look Aqua said to her, "Don't ask." She then gestured up, "Lilly this is my origin, Miyu Sugisaki, I'm sure Skye told you about her."

"You been keeping Aqua safe from the Hanoi while she was with Ai. It's nice to finally meet you." Miyu said with a smile bowing slightly before raising up, "I'm Elsa in Link VRAINS."

Lilly smiled bowing herself. "Lilly Fujiki, formerly the third ranked Charisma Duelist Nyx and... currently a lieutenant of the Knights of Hanoi."

"Your a Knight of Hanoi?" Miyu asked surprised hearing that.

"That's right." Ryoken nodded. "Lilly joined recently and she's currently equal in rank to Specter."

Said member nodded calmly at that.

"So your the Knights of Hanoi?"

They turned over seeing a glaring Theodore with Flame on his Duel Disk.

"Well Theodore Hamilton, origin of the FIRE Ignis." Ryoken said looking at him. "Pleasantries are probably unneeded given the circumstances."

"Pleasantries? Is that supposed to be a joke?" Theodore snapped angrily. "You stole years of my life thanks to that incident of yours!"

Ryoken only stared knowing what Theodore is thinking from this. If he learned anything from Yusaku, and the other group, he knows revenge is driving Theodore right now, and unless he lets out his thoughts, and feelings, he is never gonna move on. So with that he turned over to Sachiko, "Sachi." His sister looked at him as he said, "Prepare the masking cube."

"Right Ryoken." Sachiko moved to her bag.

Ryoken turned over to Theodore, "If your eager to let out your revenge Soulburner then let's not waste anytime."

"I'll take you down." Theodore told him coldly.

"Is this really the best time to be doing this?" Miyu asked the group nervous.

"Take a look at Ryoken's eyes, he knows what he's doing." Yusaku said over to her. "If I had to guess right this shouldn't take long at all."

"Hopefully, but we all know he needs this." Yuya admitted.

Sachiko placed down a cube as it glowed widening enveloping both Ryoken, and Theodore while the former explains to him, "This Duel Cube allows us to duel while outside of Link VRAINS. Our cards are hidden so SOL Technologies can't see what we're using."

"Fine, that means I can use my cards to wipe you out." Theodore told him coldly.

"He's starting off pretty aggressively." Miyu admitted.

"I end my turn with one card down!" Theodore said ending his turn.

Ryoken 1st Turn:

Ryoken now with his turn looked at the cards in his hand seeing Magnarokket Dragon, Gateway Dragon, Anesthrokket Dragon, Autorokket Dragon, and Sniffer Dragon. He moved taking his drawn card, "I draw!" He seen what he drawn was Boot Sector Launch before he then looked up to Theodore. With this hand he can quickly summon one of his powerful Link Monsters, and strike back just as aggressively but he has a different goal in mind.

"I pass." Ryoken stated calmly.

This surprised mostly everyone while Theodore asked shocked, "What!? What are you doing!?"

"Didn't you hear me? I said, I end my turn." Ryoken repeated over to him.

"Battle! Heatleo attack him directly!"

Heatleo charged forward to Ryoken striking him with a claw. (Ryoken: 1700/Hand: 6) With the last attack he would be defeated which Theodore knows. "Now Jack Jaguar atta-"

He then paused gritting his teeth before screaming to the air as Heatleo, and Jack Jaguar vanished with the cube.

Theodore: 4000

Ryoken: 1700

Duel Ended with No Result.

"Are you alright?" Miyu asked him seeing that.

Theodore got on his knees, and hands really frustrated that the duel went into this direction. "If I win like this, it won't be cool!"

Ryoken walked to him calmly looking content like his goal had been fulfilled over. "Are you satisfied?"

Theodore snapped his head up to him. "No! You didn't fight back!"

"It's not good to keep your emotions in you." Ryoken said what his goal was that was helping Theodore release all his pent up anger, and thoughts of revenge that he had kept for the last 10 years. "What I done is releasing them from you."

"This isn't over, we're going to have a real duel one day." Theodore told him.

"I'll be waiting."

With that said Ryoken walked back before turning over, "Now we can get to business." Theodore slowly rose up with his mind a little more clearer from the match as Ryoken looked at him, and Miyu, "I am Ryoken Kogami, the leader of the Knights of Hanoi, and the person that had ended the Hanoi Project."

"You ended it?" Miyu asked in shock.

"Well both him, and me." Sachiko said over before saying to them, "I'm his sister Sachiko, co-leader. Both me, and him we're the ones that stopped the Hanoi Project together. And you already know Lilly."

Lilly gave a wave to them.

"And these are the other lieutenants Alec, Clarrissa, and Genome." the three gave short nods. Sachiko then smiled turning, "And this is Steve, the second-in-command, and the EARTH Ignis' origin."

"Wonderful to meet you." Steve gave a small nod to there location.

"Wait, if you're Earth's origin you were kidnapped too. Why are you working with the Knights of Hanoi?" Miyu asked in confusion before turning to Nyx. "Actually, why are you working with them if your brother was a victim?"

"There is a lot to explain." Ryoken said to them.

Then they explained everything towards Miyu, Theodore, Earth, and Flame starting from the 10 years prior why Dr. Kogami kidnapped them, how Ryoken, and Sachiko meet Specter, and with there father formed the Knights of Hanoi, then under the battle between the Lancers, and the Knights of Hanoi where they learned of the many things that had happened, and during Roget's short-lived control over Link VRAINS they found love with each other, and Lilly became a member of the Knights of Hanoi to help them get back at SOL Technologies for Ryoken, and Sachiko's mother dying from developing Link VRAINS, and hopefully find the reason why the Ignis are destined to destroy humanity one day.

"Destroy humanity, those simulations must be incorrect. Why would we ever go that far?" Flame questioned.

"We don't know. But I had checked with my power and the simulations are not lying." Aqua explained over to him, "We're hopefully gonna figure out the reason."

"So that pegs the question, where should we start looking?" Yugo asked from that.

"Maybe along with finding those two that captured Jin's consciousness?" Cal asked them from that. "They used Cyberse cards so they might know where the WIND, and LIGHT Ignis are."

"All you had to do is ask."

They all turned to see who said that. It was Emma who had a slight grin to her. "Me, Sota, and Akira had found something a while back, and only today did it done something."

"What is it?" Yusaku asked her.

"A wormhole to a sector that's hidden." Emma answered to him. "Sota had felt there is something telling him to head there but we never had a reason too until today when those two you are looking for came out, and went back in."

"Then that's where we should go." Yusaku mentioned.

Meanwhile at SOL Technologies...

"Sota, how is your training going? Are you getting used to the World Legacies?" King inquired calmly.

Sota who's appearance haven't changed for the past few months nodded to him, "Yes sir, the World Legacies are a powerful Deck to use, and I am handling the power of Link VRAINS' Core stablely."

"I'm glad to hear that, you've done quite a bit lately so why don't you take the rest of the day off... spend some time with White Tiger and The Sheppard." King offered calmly.

Sota blinked from the off character offer but isn't planning to refuse. "Yes sir thanks."

King nodded at that before turning to a locked file on his personal computer before entering a password as what appeared on the screen were blueprints for a SOLtis android... along with an image of the World Key.

Sota was walking by himself over to where he softly knocked on a door, "Kenneth, Misaki?"

"It's open." Kenneth's voice answered.

Sota opened the door walking in, and closing it behind him looking over. Misaki was on a bed looking pregnant as Kenneth was on a computer looking up something.

"It's good to see you Sora." Misaki smiled.

"Good to see you guys too." Sota smiled over to them. "You two been busy like always?"

"Mostly, though Misaki had been getting some time off to make sure everything goes well even if Link VRAINS is safe for her to use." Kenneth answered that question not looking from his computer.

"Well the baby is getting a great dad even if he doesn't show how much he cares." Sota smiled over which made Kenneth gave a look at him which is more on amusement rather then annoyance before turning back to the computer. He then turned over to Misaki, "How you been doing with them Misaki?"

"I've been doing well." she smiled warmly before shifting to let Sota sit on the bed with her.

Ulrich362: Well then, four new allies for Playmaker and his friends and they just might be able to find the remaining two Ignis. Then again King is clearly up to something and knowing him it isn't going to be good.

bopdog111: And everyone I had been waiting for Earth vs Ai for a while since the start of this remaster, and feels great to finally get it off. Of course that isn't the only Earth duel I envisioned him to do.

Ulrich362: True, Earth will have a few matches this time around.

bopdog111: But next up would be other matters starting with meeting Sota's Ignis finally, and hopefully learning some information about Bohman, and Harlin.

Ulrich362: Sounds good to me, see you in the next chapter.

bopdog111: Be sure to review!
