"I don't think I am believing what I heard. The LIGHT Ignis, is challenging all of you to this war?" Cal asked the Lancers shocked from seeing his brother's Ignis is the leader of an evil organization, and is declaring the Lancers are invited to join the war.
"It sounds like it." Yuri nodded. "Still it looked like there were only four of them... maybe five if Lightning can duel separately from Jin so this shouldn't be as... problematic as the last one we fought."
"At least this time no Fusion Parasites will be involved." Lulu agreed with a small nod before Lightning meditated as the temple around them started to collapse. "They need to get of there!"
"Guys log out quick!" Yuya cried.
Playmaker hearing that quickly told everyone as they escaped leaving for the temple to be broken apart into multiple Bit and Boots before the screen turned to static.
"Are you ok?" Zuzu asked.
Everyone who was inside raise up to get themselves oriented as Yusaku admitted over, "Yeah we're okay."
"Hey Hanoi! We told you before we're keeping the Ignis alive!" Ai yelled over at the Knights of Hanoi but Lilly.
"You seen how sadistic the WIND Ignis was, DARK Ignis." Sachiko pointed out, "To get rid of the problem you have to eliminate it."
"And since now it knows it's origin is still alive it makes him an instant target." Ryoken agreed over to them.
"We should probably let Sota and the others know." Lilly admitted.
"I agree, this just became his fight too." Yusaku nodded.
"I'm getting him on the face phone right now." Cal typed in his computer to call them.
"So isn't this a monkey wench thrown at us? We try co-existing, and now we're all fighting each other to the death." Flame said over to his fellow Ignis with crossed arms, "But something is off despite the circumstances."
"You noticed too?" Earth asked.
"Huh, noticed what?" Theodore inquired.
"Something about Windy." Flame admitted over to the humans, "Windy is easy to talk too, and while he does like to clown around he's never been this sinister. He also chatted about how fascinating humans are."
"You mean he's changed?" Rin asked before shuddering.
"But that's the weird part. Why did he change?" Aqua asked looking down with tears in her eyes, "What are we doing? Why is this happening to us?"
Earth gently hugged her at that which Ryoken noticed.
"There's something I need to confirm, let me know if Sota and the others arrive." he mentioned before leaving.
Cal soon told everyone, "Alright Sota's on the phone!"
They all turned as Cal then told him. "Sota, we have a problem. A big problem."
Sota was on the screen after answering a call blinked from that before asking, "A problem? What kind?"
"The WIND Ignis and LIGHT Ignis have officially declared war on humanity, and brainwashed Jin Kolter." Steve answered.
"What?" Sota asked shocked hearing that, "My Ignis... is now the enemy?"
"Yeah, and we might need your help." Yugo admitted.
"Alright me, Misaki, and Kenneth will head over to Cafe Nom right now." Sota said nodding hearing that.
"What about Emma?" Yuya asked knowing Akira probably couldn't because of SOL Technologies.
"Uh, I'm right here." Emma raised her hand over to that. "I was the one that gave you the location for Lightning's temple."
"Oh… right. Sorry I kind of connected you with that group." Yuya apologized.
"Well like I said we're heading over right now." Sota said before he hanged up.
"Sachiko, should we call her?" Steve inquired.
"Would she be able to avoid being detected?" Sachiko asked him.
"I can't be sure." he admitted.
He nodded sending a message as Lilly frowned.
"Aqua? Can I do anything?" she asked.
Hearing her Aqua turned over to her.
"After what happened… can I do anything to help you?" she explained. "It must be upsetting to see your friends act like that."
Aqua looked down before answering, "Maybe having some answers."
She nodded. "We'll find them and maybe the war can avoid anyone dying."
"Just remember, Lilly, as long as the WIND, and LIGHT Ignis show desires to destroy humanity we Hanoi will always try to terminate them." Sachiko warned her.
"We talked about this, at least try capturing them alive first Sachiko." Lilly frowned.
"We can talk more about this once we stop Lightning." Yusaku said over to them.
"Fair enough." Alec nodded. "Terminating the Ignis or not this war is our top priority right now."
"And Lightning had invited all of us the Lancers to participate against him." Yuya added himself with a frown. "Doesn't he know what we done in the Dimensional War?"
"He likely does, and that's why he challenged you. If you all were to lose it would send quite the message to humanity... that the Ignis are superior to some of the greatest duelists of all." Steve noted. "If someone defeated you all, it would make others less likely to try and oppose him."
"He is either smart, or a fool." Yuri said hearing that, "If he knows how powerful we are then this would be a really bold thing to do."
"Lightning is many things." Flame said over to them. "An arrogant fool is not one of them. He's calm, cool, and collected so by challenging you Lancers, it must mean he believes he's better then you all while not thinking little of you at all."
Yuya frowned at that before...
"Excuse me, is this where I can find the Lancers?" asked a female voice.
Hearing that they turned over confused. It was a pale woman with green eyes and light brown hair wearing a charcoal colored suit with a pink tie. "I was asked to come see the Lancers?"
"Who are you?" Zuzu asked her confused with a blink.
"My name is Risa Hayami." the woman mentioned politely.
"Risa?" Yusaku asked surprised standing up, "What are you doing here?"
"You've met?" Clarissa asked hearing that. "When?"
"It was during when Roget locks us out of Link VRAINS, Sota invited her, and several others for us to discuss his plan against his dad." Ai answered.
"Did anyone see you leave SOL Tech headquarters Hiyami?" Steve inquired calmly.
Seeing him and his expression she suddenly smirked. "Of course not, did you doubt me?"
Hearing that everyone blinked looking at them, and back at Risa before Aqua said, "Risa... is there something you haven't told us?"
"Don't tell me you forgot we planted a spy in SOL Technologies." Dr. Genome smirked.
"Wait... and Risa is the-" Ai realizes what's what looking at Risa.
"That's right, I've been working undercover for the Knights of Hanoi from the start." Risa confirmed. "That's how they knew about the weaknesses of the City Scan among other information relevant to our mission."
"And how good are you as a duelist?" Yugo asked her curiously.
"Officially or unofficially?" she asked him. "Technically I'm the lowest ranking lieutenant of the Knights of Hanoi... below Clarissa and the others."
"Well can we say how powerful you are?" Yuto asked.
"Well, I'm one of the only members of the Hanoi to have managed to defeat Ryoken in a one on one duel." she answered.
"What?" They all asked shocked.
Sachiko only grinned to them, "It's true. Risa's Deck was too powerful for Ryoken to handle since they kept duplicating."
Risa only chuckled. "You sound surprised."
"Oh Risa," they looked over seeing Sota, Kenneth, and Misaki had just arrived with Kenneth helping Misaki. "I didn't know you be coming."
"So... Prince sir, I didn't expect you. I was just picking up something for Mr. Zaizen." she mentioned almost immediately shifting into her assistant personality. "Are you doing alright?"
"Yes I'm doing alright. We just learned that the LIGHT and WIND Ignis or Lightning and Windy are declaring war on humanity." Sota answered with his hands on his hips.
"That... are you going to be alright sir?" she asked him. "Considering what the Wind Ignis tried to do to you before."
"What do you mean?" Sota asked confused hearing that. "What did Windy tried doing to me?"
"Windy is the one that caused the crash. The Knights of Hanoi figured it out and he confirmed it just now when he and Lightning declared war on humanity." Yusaku answered.
"The... the same crash that almost killed me that day?" Sota asked hearing that.
"His Ignis did what!?" Kenneth suddenly looked very pissed off. "Where is that Ignis, I will go into Link VRAINS, and terminate it right now!"
"And if you end up walking into a trap?" Declan inquired.
"I'll destroy it!"
"Kenny please calm down." Misaki holds him back softly grabbing his arm, "You need to calm down before you do something we'd both regret." She sighed before turning to them, "Again he hates AI, and we all thought Sota was done for that day before he gotten his second wind."
"Don't apologize, we all understand where he's coming from." Sachiko pointed out. "If he wants to destroy the Wind Ignis we won't get in his way but we need a plan first."
"If... if Windy tried killing me... then am I... really the kind of person my parents believed I am to them?" Sota does look troubled holding his head with his hands.
"No, you're not." Miyu answered walking over and hugging him. "I don't know what's going on, but Aqua and Earth think something's happened to him, we'll find out the truth together."
"Something happened to him?" Misaki asked confused hearing that.
"I think so, he was acting... so different than I remember." Aqua answered. "Something changed."
"So what do we do now?" Flame asked them.
"How about we train?" Sora suggested which made them look at him confused, "It's a predictable thing but we gotta keep our skills sharp for when Lightning, and his goons come in with there first plan of attack."
"That makes sense." Yugo nodded. "So, who's first?"
"Well since you all haven't seen what me, and Kenny can do yet, I can start us off." Misaki smiled before she then rubbed her belly, "And don't worry about the baby, Sota said that it's safe for me to duel in Link VRAINS without endangering it."
"She's also more stronger then me." Kenneth added from that with crossed arms.
"Alright, in that case I'll..." Shay started only for Steve to smirk.
"Actually, why don't you all get a first hand demonstration of one of the top duelists of the Knights of Hanoi?" he interjected.
"You want Misaki to duel one of you all?" Sota asked looking at Steve, Sachiko, Alec, Genome, and Clarissa.
"Actually, I was referring to miss Hayami." Steve smirked.
That made Sota, Kenneth, and Misaki turned over to said woman.
"Well... I do have a deck." she mentioned.
Misaki only smiled offering a hand, "May the best duelist win. And remember I'm White Tiger."
"Right." Risa nodded. "I actually go by Live Star myself."
With that both Misaki, and Risa sat together in cushioned chairs readying there Duel Disks before calling, "Into the VRAINS!"
In Link VRAINS...
In a desert like location two figures appeared.
One was a woman that has on a mercenary like uniform that's white, and tiger stripes on it covering her entire upper body while her abdomen is exposed while wearing a hood all around her head with her face exposed that also has a mask covering her nose, and mouth along with having white pants, and sneakers, and having hands that are shaped as tiger paws along with a white tiger tail on her pants.
The other woman meanwhile has on a pink sparkling dress that's shoulderless along with pink slippers on while having hair half blue, and half pink to her shoulders with some star like symbols on her cheeks, and as irises of her eyes.
"Do you want to go first or can I?" the sparkled dressed woman, Live Star, asked.
"You can go." the mercenary woman, White Tiger, grinned over to her.
"DUEL!" they both called together.

"Well normally it won't but this is what will." White Tiger grinned over, "For you see my Main Deck Tri-Brigades have a shared effect. By banishing any number of Beast, Beast-Warrior or Winged Beasts from my graveyard, I can then summon any of the Tri-Beasts Link Monsters that have markers the same number as the monsters I banished."
"What?" Live Star questioned in shock. "That's insane!"
"To prove it, I'll start by banishing all four of the monsters in my graveyard!"
Rescue Cat, Kerras, Kitt, and Nervall all appeared before flying up entering the left, right, bottom-right, and bottom-left markers.
'Link four, but it won't help her.' Live Star thought smirking.
"The Tri-Beasts have all gathered around, and bring the way towards the top mercenary among them to take the skies! Link Summon! Link 4, Tri-Brigade Shuraig the Ominous Omen!"
What lowered down was a large armored mercenary that has large armored like bird wings, and holding a large shotgun/revolver like rifle with plated armor around his hands, and feet.

"Right now as it's the biggest obstacle it's gonna have to go." White Tiger gave a finger salute as Shuraig aimed at Lil-La-Rap firing one of it's large bullets at it which made it vanish.
Live Star frowned pocketing her spell card.

Rising up was a girl on top of a mechanical bear like body as if energizing.

What rose up was a large wolf like mercenary wearing a plated wolf shaped helmet wearing mercenary armor holding two pistols large blades below them.

"Well that effect is limited to one time so my Link 2 will start!"
Ferrijit aimed before firing a bullet at one of her opponents.

"No it wasn't." White Tiger grinned before she paused. 'Oh wait a second... It can't be summoned from the Extra Deck if I don't have more then 3 Tri-Brigade Spells and Traps in my graveyard... And from her effect I only sent one so it's not enough... I also can't bring back Bearbrumm with Revolt's effect since she wasn't summoned properly. Well seems like it's appearance is gonna have to wait.' "Well I made a small miscalculation but it doesn't make a difference!"
At that Nervall, Kitt, Kerras, and Fraktall all appeared.

Kenneth only stayed silent before he pointed out, "How do four Main Deck Monsters make a Link 5 if one of them isn't a Link 2?"
"Yeah he's right all four of them are Main Deck Monsters so she can only summon a Link 4 with them." Cal agreed seeing this, "I mean her ultimate could be a different Link 4."
"She just said she made a miscalculation. Implying she was going to bring back five monsters." Sachiko pointed out to them. "If her ultimate monster was a Link 4 she wouldn't have said that."
At that the Link Portal appeared as they watched the four flew entering the arrows revealed a second Shuraig flying into the field.
Tri-Brigade Shuraig the Ominous Omen: (Attack Position/Extra Monster Zone)
Live Star frowned seeing the monster. "Great, now my only monster gets banished."
"Actually I'm going with your Continuous Spell again." White Tiger admitted as Shuraig fired a bullet which made Live Star's second copy of her spell vanished, "If it removes 1000 points without dealing damage then it's important to take that thing off the field. Your monster is weaker then mine so I don't have any reason to remove it with Shuraig's special ability."
"I attack Shuraig with Evil Twins Ki-sikil & Lil-la!" Live Star smirked. "Oh, and in case you're wondering why it's because I have another ability. When I have a Ki-sikil and Lil-la monster in the graveyard my Evil Twins Ki-sikil & Lil-la get an extra 2200 attack and defense points."

"Say what?" White Tiger stepped back shocked as Live Star's best monster attacked Shuraig destroying it as White Tiger stepped back. (White Tiger: 0600/Hand: 2)
"I end my turn by activating one more spell card, Live Twin Sunny's Snitch." Live Star mentioned.

"Well, I still do have over 5000 life points so unless this monster has over 10000 attack points I'm pretty sure I'll survive." Live Star pointed out.
"Well I banish Nervall, Kitt, Fraktall, Kerras, and Ferrijit!"
Kitt summoned the Link Portal as the five monsters in her graveyard appeared before flying up entering all bottom, and horizontal arrows. Live Star just looked at that in shock.
"Among all of the Tri-Beast Mercenaries there is one that is the most Legendary! Equipped with the most superior armor, and weapons it comes out to take the field by storm! Link Summon! Arise, Link 5! Tri-Brigade Arms "Bucephalus II"!"
What lowered down was a large blonde haired man with a helmet like mask on with large black plated wings with a large cannon on his left hand, and a lance as his right, and wearing mercenary armor readying.

White Tiger stared ahead before she then closed her eyes, and smiled before placing her hand on her Deck. Seeing that Live Star nodded walking over. "Honestly, that wasn't my best showing... I have multiple copies of all my cards. It was a good match though."

"Well I didn't had anything else after that." White Tiger admitted over to her. "I summon another monster, I lose. I attack with Bucephalus II, I either lose my strongest monster, or I take damage, and lose. And I don't have a card to protect myself after I'm open. A second Time-Rending Morganite, Burial From a Different Dimension, and Foolish Burial aren't quite enough, and I don't have a monster for my face-down to be used for."
"Well, maybe next time." Live Star smiled as they logged out.
They appeared back as Misaki sighed a bit where Sota gave her a slight hug with a smile, "Your still the same like always Misaki."
"Thanks, I may have lost but I managed to bring out my ultimate monster." she smiled hugging him back only to gasp as she put his hand on her belly.
Sota looked confused taking a look down as she holds his hand there, "Misaki?"
Soon he felt something bump into his hand. Sota's eyes widen feeling that, "Huh?"
"The baby is kicking." Misaki smiled.
"It's..." Sota trailed off stunned before he started tearing up, and softly kissed it.
Misaki smiled rubbing his head.
"Steve is right. Sota is thriving surrounded by all the people who care about him despite everything life thrown at him." Miyu smiled seeing this wiping a tear from her eye.
Seeing that Skye paused. "Miyu, are you falling for him?"
Hearing that Miyu blinked turning to Skye, "What gave you that idea?"
"Your expression, you're smiling with tears in your eyes." Skye pointed out. "I'm already dating so I notice that kind of thing now."
"I'm just so happy for him." Miyu said over to her, "He fought death, and won, he's treated like a lab rat by his parents, and learned that his Ignis nearly killed him but despite it all he still hasn't changed, and is still kind..." she started crying. "And Happy... and is one of the sweetest boys I know..."
Skye smiled. "Tell him."
Miyu turned to her hearing that with tears in her eyes. Skye just smiled and nodded gently. Miyu turned over before walking over. Sota soon gets up wiping his eyes with a smile before noticing Miyu walking over, and smiled, "Hi Miyu. How are you?"
"I... I'm ok." she blushed slightly. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah I'm alright." Sota nodded before noticing her tears, "Miyu... were you crying?"
"I'm just... happy." she admitted. "Sota... after all of this is over, do you want to maybe hang out?"
Sota blinked before he smiled nodding, "I'd like that."
Miyu smiled before blushing as she kissed him. "It's a date then."
Sota widen his eyes from the kiss.
"Ah young love." Celina smiled.
"I don't think he's realized it yet." Yuri admitted to her.
She only chuckled at that.
