Lightning was in his Palace watching a match that was between God, and Windy over, and saw Windy broke through his brainwashing program several times, and in the end God defeated him in battle. But then his avatar acted up absorbing Windy onto him, and freeing him from his programing. Seeing that he narrowed his eyes. "So that's his game."
"What do we do now that Windy is in there possession?" Harlin spoke over having seen the match himself.
"It doesn't matter, we still have all the data from the match." Lightning stated over. "Besides once he comes over again Bohman will be waiting ahead to take Windy back."
"Should we send Bit and Boot out again?" Harlin suggested.
Lightning thinks before turning over. "Bohman."
He looked up from where he was meditating. "Yes?"
"Your going in next." Lightning said over calmly.
"Alone, or with Harlin?" he asked simply.
"Alone. As the Ignis' perfect vessel you don't need some assistance. Just know I won't tolerate failure."
Bohman just nodded getting up as he prepared to transport into Link VRAINS.
"Bohman?" He turned over to Harlin who smiled over. "Good luck."
Smiling Bohman just nodded at that. He transported away for his mission at this.
Meanwhile...
Lilly, and Ryoken are together walking with Skye and both Ai, and Midna in the Duel Disks to show Midna to the Lancers, and everyone. Yusaku will also be there taking a small break from him advancing as a Charisma Duelist to see how everything is going.
"Oh, what's that?" Midna asked looking at some birds.
"Those are birds little Mindy." Ai came up with that petname for her. "Avian like creatures capable of flight!"
"Wow... they sound magical." Midna smiled happily. "Oh, I like the fluffy white ones a lot."
"What fluffy white ones?" Ai blinked looking over.
"The ones up there." Midna pointed as Ryoken closed his eyes.
"Those are clouds, not birds." he told her simply.
"Clouds are there to give the planet water." Skye explained to Midna with a soft smile.
"Wow..." she whispered in awe.
"I wonder what the others will think." Skye admitted thoughtfully only to pause and suddenly frown. "Midna, let's play hide and seek... it's where you hide and try not to be found ok... a good spot is in a Duel Disk."
"Okay!" Minda went in her Duel Disk.
"Skye?" Lilly blinked seeing that.
"We're about to pass SOL Technologies." she answered quietly indicating the building. "We don't want to take any risks."
"Oh!" Ai quickly retreated back himself.
With that they walked past calmly to not draw unwanted attention before after a while Lilly and Skye tapped their Duel Disks to let Ai and Midna know it was ok to come out. The two raised up as Ai sighed wiping his head. "Consider this a life lesson little Mindy, there will be some people who want your help for evil things."
"Huh, but I don't want to help mean people." she mentioned. "So I would just say no."
"They won't take no for an answer. So be sure you stay strong for dueling." Skye answered over for her.
Midna nodded before her eyes widened. "Oh... what's that?" She was looking at a screen displaying Link VRAINS with wide eyes.
"That's Link VRAINS. A place where Duelists go, and duel all over globally." Skye answered over with a smile.
She smiled at that only for them to notice a familiar figure on the screen, Bohman.
"Wait Bohman!?" Lilly looked stunned seeing he's there. "Why is he on Link VRAINS right now!?"
"I don't know, but we should let the others know." Skye frowned seeing him. "It doesn't look like he's with his partner though."
"We better hurry on, and tell them!" Ai said over to them.
"Right." Lilly nodded as they ran back to Cafe Nom.
They ran over eventually Cafe Nom where everyone was talking with Yusaku about his latest match over before they noticed they running over.
"Huh, what's going on?" Yuri asked seeing them.
"Bohman's in Link VRAINS!" Lilly said over to them.
"What!?" Yusaku questioned. "Ai!"
"Right, let's take him down just like last time." Ai mentioned.
"Wait." a voice break as they looked seeing Rin raising up. "I'll duel him this time."
"Rin, are you sure? You saw how strong he was and if he brings out one of his Link Monsters..." Yugo started only for Rin to frown.
"I know, but don't worry I can handle it." she mentioned.
"Are you sure Rin?" Declan asked her.
Rin looked at him. "I am, and in fact... I brought along something from my home dimension... a certain card that might come in handy."
"What card?" Minda spoke up at that.
"Who said that?" Yuya asked.
"Oh her." Lilly raised her Duel Disk showing Midna to them.
"What the? Is that an Ignis?" Yugo questioned in shock.
"I never seen her before!" Flame gasped seeing a foreign Ignis.
"Me neither." Earth admitted over.
"She's Lilly's." Ryoken answered how that can be.
"What? But Lilly wasn't part of the incident." Celina argued.
"No, but she was only born recently." Lilly mentioned.
"We can talk about this new Ignis once I get back." Rin pointed out. "We don't want to lose him again."
"Room's ready for you." Cal spoke up to her.
Rin nodded putting on her Duel Disk and stepping into the room. "Into the VRAINS!"
She glowed bright changing in appearance.
Meanwhile in Link VRAINS...
Bohman is flying around Link VRAINS looking around for a member of the Lancers or of SOL Technologies to duel over after they lost Windy. Soon he felt a slight chill as he turned to see a girl with icy blue hair wearing a white dress that seemed to flow and sparkle as if made of ice race up to him.
"You're Bohman right?" the girl asked.
"And you are?" Bohman stared over to her.
"Kitakaze, it's japanese for northern wind if you weren't aware and just like my name suggests I'll freeze you in a Speed Duel." Kitakaze told him.
"Very well, I'll take you out on a Speed Duel." Bohman hearing that prepared himself as he, and Kitakaze flown over before he pointed ahead. "Whoever passes that pillar can decide who gets the first turn, agreed?" He points over to a pillar in the distance.
"What, you've never heard of ladies first?" Kitakaze asked him.
"Formalities mean little in a war." Bohman sped off ahead.
Kitakaze frowned before racing after him. The two raced together hard moving around trying to outrace each other. Eventually reaching a corner Kitakaze managed to get a first inch ahead racing passed the pillar.
"Looks like I'm going first anyway." she told Bohman drawing her cards. "And I won't hold back against you."
"Likewise." Bohman grinned as they readied.
"DUEL!"

"It has to be Lightning." Aqua frowned.
They watched over as Bohman grinned over to Kitakaze. "How is it feel to be in the world I destroyed?" Kitakaze blinked widening her eyes as Bohman spread his arms to confirm. "Yes. I was the one who destroyed Cyberse World!"
"You... you what?" she asked in shock. "Why?"
Bohman only smirked. "Call it a test run for the power I possess."
Kitakaze glared at him hearing that. "You'll regret that."
"Lightning... what made you like this...?" Aqua had tears holding a hand to her heart.
"We'll find out when we beat him, but... we have to make sure Sota isn't there when we do just to be safe... especially after what King made him do." Declan noted.
Back at the duel...
"Whenever Cyberse World activates I add a Cyberse monster to my hand." Bohman adds a card. "And also all Cyberse Link Monsters on the field gain 200 attack points equal to there Link Rating while Cyberse World is active."

Kitakaze flinched seeing that. "Even with that boost your monster isn't strong enough to beat mine."
"Well I'm not done yet." Bohman said over to her. "Next I summon Hydradrive Elements!" A crystal baring the Hydradrive crest appeared on the field.

"Not so fast!" Kitakaze cried. "I activate my trap card Lost Wind!"

"Good, now even with Judgement Arrows boost it isn't strong enough to destroy her monsters." Ai mentioned seeing that.
"Why doesn't Bohman look worried though?" Celina doesn't like that Bohman still looks calm.
Ryoken frowned at that unaware that Midna had gotten a bit nervous and moved to be closer to him to feel safer.
"I expected as such. Now that you used your trap, you can't stop my true monster." Bohman said over towards Kitakaze.
"True monster?" Kitakaze asked hearing that as she frowned. "What do you mean?"
"To demonstrate, I summon Cocoon Hydradrive." Bohman used the effect of a monster as it appeared.

"I set 2 cards!" Bohman sets the rest of his hand before turning. "And now Trident Lord attacks Crystal Bell!" Trident Lord turned charging up to slash down. "At this moment Judgement Arrows' effect applies!" The Link Spell glowed on the field. "Trident Lord's attack points are doubled!"

Kitakaze's eyes widened as her fusion monster shattered.

"Her effects on the field might be negated, but when Crystal Bell is destroyed I can bring back Winter Bell and Ice Bell from the graveyard both in defense mode!" Kitakaze revealed as her monsters appeared.

All three of Kitakaze's monsters regained there color from this. Bohman merely smirked seeing this as a challenge. "So you have a backup against Property Zero I see..."
Kitakaze frowned before nodding. "I send Windwitch - Blizzard Bell to the graveyard in order to activate her ability and deal 500 points of damage, and then since you took damage Windwitch - Diamond Bell's ability destroys Judgement Arrows!"
Blizzard Bell lowered down but Bohman opened his eyes. "I also know the tricks, you have! I activate Interference Canceller!" A trap appeared on his field.

"No way, if she doesn't deal damage Diamond Bell can't destroy anything." Yugo frowned.

Lowering down was a large naga like monster with red armor, and four arms each holding swords while an extra arm holds a large shield that is shaped like the Hydradrive crest readying on the field.

Kitakaze could only watch as her monster shattered from the attack.
"Tesseract's other effect activates! At the end of the battle, you send 1 monster with the same Attribute as it to the graveyard, and when you do, Tesseract can attack another monster!" Bohman said over towards Kitakaze.
"What!?" Kitakaze cried in shock as Ice Bell vanished.
"But she doesn't have another monster so what point is that?" Yugo asked seeing this confused.
"It's obvious. He knows of Lost Wind's power, and had prepared a counter should she use it." Declan said over to him. "She uses it on Monarch, Flow is there to attack. She uses it on Flow, he uses the Monarch to clear her field so Flow can attack directly with Judgement Arrows giving it enough strength to finish the duel."
Yuto frowned at that. 'Rin...'
"And now final attack! Flow Hydradrive attack Kitakaze directly!" Flow charged in charging a wind attack over. "Judgement Arrows' effect!"

She was launched down landing on a platform as Bohman flew down staring at her as she looked back. He surprises her by offering a hand to help her stand up.
"What?" she questioned in shock taking it. "Why are you helping me up?"
Bohman helps her stand up as he grinned over. "Your a good duelist. I have respect for you, and your fellow Lancers, and it was an honor to duel someone like you Rin. Hopefully if circumstances change we can be friends." Bohman is based off of Playmaker from what Lightning said over so he has some of Yusaku's traits notably being honorable, and giving respect towards opponents even the Lancers.
She blinked before nodding. "Who knows, it might be possible."
With that she logged out. Bohman stares off before hopping on, and flying out to return to Lightning.
With the Lancers Rin logged out before frowning. "That could have gone better, I thought I caught him off guard but he ended up beating me instead."
"Maybe, but it sounds like we might be able to get through to him... and if we can get through to Lightning that's the key." Ai pointed out.
"He clearly has knowledge about us during the War." Sylvio frowned over with crossed arms. "So it'll be tricky the next we face him cause he's familiar with mostly all of us."
"That's true, but I have a feeling it'll work out." Zuzu reassured him.
"I agree, and knowing our decks is only half the battle, the other half is out dueling us and with every match more of his strategies are going to be revealed." Yuri smirked.
"Well now... that we have time." Celina turned over towards Midna. "We should probably get to know our new teammate."
"Oh, hi... my name's Midna. Mommy gave it to me, I'm the TWILIGHT Ignis." Midna smiled waving to her. "Nice to meet you."
"Mommy huh?" Celina turned to a teasing look aimed at Lilly.
Lilly blushed a bit at that but was smiling. "That's right, Lilly is my little girl, me and Ryoken... which means you're grandma."
Midna's eyes widened hearing that before flying over to hug Celina. "Hi grandma!"
Celina blinked but smiled using one hand in a attempt to hug her. "Good to meet you Midna." Before she turned Midna to Yuri, "And this is Grandpa."
Yuri just gave a small nod as Midna smiled flying back over to Lilly. "Oh, I love grandma and grandpa mommy, they seem so nice!"
Yuri then gave a teasing stare towards Lilly. "Well Lilly, while I'm glad for you, and Ryoken please don't give me, and your mother anymore grandkids until you two are married." Meant to tease her about it.
Her eyes widened and she blushed badly. "Dad... I'm not going to do that."
She turned to Ryoken only to blink seeing he wasn't there.
"Huh, Ryoken?"
"We got trouble." Sachiko voiced over to them seeing something in Link VRAINS.
Concerned they all looked over hearing that. They see another person wearing a flap like the Inner Circle. A balding obese man having a black Rook Chess Piece flap on it wearing black armor.
"Another member of the Inner Circle right? Should we go in after him?" Sora suggested.
"No need. Ryoken went in to confront him." Sachiko said over.
Yusaku frowned however sensing something odd with this guy. "I'm gonna head it. This one feels weird, I think Ryoken shouldn't be alone." He walked readying to log in.
"Be careful Yusaku, we don't know what he's capable of." Yuya warned him.
Yusaku nodded readying. "INTO THE VRAINS!"
Earlier back in SOL Technologies...
SOL was watching the duel between the two, and Rin lost against Bohman over which made Black narrowed his eyes about it.
"Perhaps the Lancers aren't as skilled as we thought." Bishop noted thoughtfully. "At least this one seems to be rather simple to defeat."\
"Nonsense." Black spoke up suddenly which made them turn over. "The reason why she lost was because he was superior created by Ignis as intended."
"Again with that Ignis superiority of yours, humans are clearly superior to them, just look at how easily Sota defeated the Wind Ignis." Lancelot Knight pointed out. "One lucky duel doesn't prove anything."
"Sota won cause he was intended to be." Black glared at Lancelot. "He, and that WIND Ignis are the same, and as intended Sota is better then he is."
"Look brother, we get that you think the Ignis are better since your the one who given the idea to Dr. Kogami to be better but even the Ignis have faults." White voiced over towards Black.
"Insolent thinking like you usually do." Black narrowed his eyes towards him. "You clearly understood nothing, it was cause of my genius that we have one of the greatest things we have. Now there scattered, and our own duelist, Sota is also the heir of SOL no better setting to use the Ignis then on this company." He is clearly arrogant that as the one who came up with the Ignis, it gave SOL a huge standing where there better then everyone, and takes pride in it.
"We have nothing, your plan that you gave Kogami created the six Ignis of which we have one... they escaped in case you've forgotten and they're nearly all in the hands of our enemies." Queen scowled glaring at Black. "If you want SOL's standing to stay above everyone else then go get one of them yourself."
"Challenge accepted. I shall prove that I am the greatest asset we have." Black stood up glaring at Queen. "And when I return I expect an apology letter from you." He turned away getting out to log in Link VRAINS.
"Why that fat-ass...!" Queen growled from this.
"Calm yourself Queen." King closed his eyes. "This may prove beneficial for us."
She sighed at that before nodding. "I suppose he does have some uses... if nothing else this will be good for a laugh."
With that they turned to the screen to see what would happen.
Black entered Link VRAINS in this avatar of black armor, and a flap of a black Rook Chess piece beginning his search for the Ignis looking around for several minutes.
"Black Rook, a member of SOL Technologies inner circle correct?" asked a male voice.
Hearing this Black looked over his shoulder. "And who's asking?"
"Varis, the leader of the Knights of Hanoi." Varis answered calmly.
Black blinked widening his eyes before then narrowing them. "Hmm, well well, Ryoken Kogami, pleased to meet you at least. This wasn't how I intend for the two of us to meet but I suppose this is fine. Cause now I can have you hand me the Ignis you all have."
"I'm not in possession of any Ignis." Varis noted calmly. "Though I do plan on seeing your skill as a duelist firsthand, I trust you're fine with a Master Duel? It's where duelists can display their true talents after all."
"No problems with me. I am curious over how my colleague's son duels with someone like me." Black said over as they flew down landing on the field.
"You worked with my father?" Varis inquired.
"Of course. We worked in the same department on creating AI." Black confirmed over to him. "Friends even. Nothing against the man of course, he was always a promising coder. And then the Hanoi Project with the Ignis happened. I wonder what inspired him to make such a scheme." He then pretended to realize something. "Oh, I remember how. I'm the one who gave him the idea."
Varis froze at that. "The Lost Incident, it was entirely your idea? Six children tortured for months, somehow it doesn't surprise me that the Inner Circle were the ones to come up with such a barbaric idea."
"We were chatting together over the future should SOL Technologies crumble. Humans trapped in flesh, and there legacy forgotten cause of AIs who only do as there told without true feelings for humanity." Black smirked over to Varis. "I had made the mention that AI with free will is the solution over, and he soon gotten the idea of the project from my suggestion."
Varis closed his eyes hearing that. "I understand, well, in that case that makes you the one person I simply cannot lose to."
"Well as the one who gave the idea of the Ignis life, you simply cannot lose to me." Black smirked before blinking looking past Varis. "Oh looks like the DARK Ignis is in my grasp."
Varis blinked turning as he frowned. "Playmaker, this is my battle."
"Don't mind me, we are here as backup. There is something about him that doesn't set right with me." Playmaker said landing behind Varis with Ai in his Duel Disk.
Black shrugged over. "Well alright then no reason to worry. Cause once I'm finished with him, you are next Fujiki."
Playmaker frowned at that only for Varis to smirk. "Make that claim after you've beaten me, assuming you even can."
With those words he landed and waited for Black and Playmaker to land.
"Very well." Black, and Varis readied.

"Careful Varis we have no idea what the Knightmare Deck is capable of..." Playmaker remembers over what Deck, Black uses from the story Sota told them about while wondering how Black knows about his real name.
"I'll handle this duel on my own Playmaker." Varis stated calmly.
"Very well. I start off by summoning Balancer Lord." Black raised a card as Balancer Lord appeared on his field.

Black adds a card from Lady Debugger's effect before he sets a card while pressing some buttons on his Duel Disk. "And it starts with this card, Terraforming!" He activated a spell that was set on his field.

Popping up was a large red fiendish phoenix slightly resembling Fire Phoenix but weaker screeching.

"Huh why is he going for her?" Ai blinked as Riot Dragon charged an attack.
"We don't know what she can do so he is getting rid of her in case she has a hidden effect." Playmaker explained to Ai.
As Riot Dragon prepared its attack Varis took his last card. "Before your monster is destroyed I play Quick Launch and use it to summon a second Metalrokket Dragon in defense position."

"Huh-huh?" That surprised Black, Playmaker, Ai, and Varis looking around before noticing something exiting Varis' Duel Disk as he raised his arm to take a better look.
To their shock Midna emerged with a happy expression. "You're amazing daddy, you must be the smartest and strongest person in the entire world."
"M-Midna?" Varis grunted over surprised, and a bit embarrassed to be called daddy here of all places.
"Huh? An Ignis? I don't recognize her!" Black was stunned seeing an Ignis he never see in front of him, and even called someone like VARIS, daddy.
Ai however grinned figuring a perfect time to tease them. "Oh-ho, sounds like Varis is now a daddy!"
Playmaker couldn't help but smirk. "Well, she is telling the truth Ai, and she should be proud of her father."
Varis however frowned as he glared at Playmaker who returned to a neutral expression albeit with a smile instead of a frown. "What are you doing here Midna?"
"I am seeing how strong you are, so I came to give you support!" Midna cheered over while not understanding the teasing Ai is doing.
Varis sighed as he glared at Ai who's eyes widened as he turned away to awkwardly whistle. "I appreciate that, but this is far too dangerous you should have stayed with your mother."
"What... what is going on here?" They all turned to Black who looked stunned from seeing Midna. "An Ignis that isn't among the six of them!? Where did she come from!?"
"You should concern yourself with the duel, not with Midna." Varis stated turning to her. "Take cover, I have a feeling things are going to get much more dangerous in a moment."
Midna nodded entering the Duel Dusk leaving a violet, and yellow eye as Varis turned back over. Black growled over from this. "Fine, in that case, I will take that Ignis as soon as I'm done with you!"
"You will have to try to pry her from my dead hands!" Varis argued over. "Appear the future circuit that lights up my path!" The circuit appeared Striker Dragon, and Metalrokket entered the arrows.

"Aqua? What's wrong you look a bit distracted." Miyu notices her Ignis looks confused about something.
"It's... how can you lie about the truth?" Aqua asked. "He's definitely lying about what card he's playing but... we can see he's telling the truth."
"Maybe he's just really good at lying?" Yugo suggested.
"No nothing escapes from Aqua's power." Flame denied it over knowing how strong Aqua's power is. "It is why Cyberse World has no conspiracies, or betrayals, she can easily detect it. I agree something is wrong, why would he set a card before using it?"
"It doesn't make any sense." Celina frowned. "Why not... wait a second, he's not using physical cards!"
They turned to her hearing that.
"His cards are all digital in Link Vrains, and if he's part of the inner circle he should have access to the cards right?" she pointed out. "If he was the one who suggested Dr. Kogami create the Ignis... he might be skilled enough with a computer to alter the code of his own deck... or hack in different cards."
Sylvio's eyes widened turning to Cal. "Is that even possible?"
"Oh definitely." Cal answered over from this. "If Lightning, and his crew made Judgement Arrows, and use Skills outside of Speed Duels, I don't doubt they can switch cards during a Duel."
"So he is cheating, but how is Ryoken supposed to counter that?" Lulu asked frowning.

Black checked over his drawn cards, and smirked. "Alright then. I start by summoning the monster, I added earlier! Flame Bufferlo!" A buffulo with blue flames rose up growling.

"What?" Varis, and Playmaker blinked hearing that.
Aqua explained over to them. "He is one of the Inner Circle, and I was able to detect he was lying when he was activating some cards. His Deck is digital, and has been using codes to switch cards when he sets them to cards he wants to use."
"I see, his duel disk must allow him to change his cards but he needs to play them first which is why he's setting them facedown." Varis noted calmly before smiling. "Good catch Midna, I hadn't considered that possibility but now that I have I'll be able to handle this duel even if he attempts to cheat."
"Expose me, will you? Piece of insolent coding." Black glared over at Aqua. "The punishment for rebelling against who gave you life is death. But I'm aware King, and God needs you so when I take you, I will make sure you will think twice before you think of rebelling against me again."
Elsa frowned moving in front of Aqua. "You're not touching her."
"And besides you have me to deal with first." Varis glared at Black.
Black shrugged over from this while Ai yelled out to him. "Shame on you! You believe your so superior, so why would you stoop so low as not following the rules!?"
"And I should care why?" Black shrugged with closed eyes condescending. "In battles such as these all you need is skill, strength, and smarts in full effect." He glared over to them. "As such, using codes for something like this is needed, and necessary. There is no such thing as 'fair game'."
"You remind me of my brother who also doesn't understand the real world. I'd expected more from you Kogami." Black gave a disappointed stare over. "No matter, I will show you soon enough. Phoenix glowed over as it received the power.

"And now battle! Phoenix attack Riot Dragon!" Phoenix cawed loud charging in at Riot Dragon.
Varis frowned as his monster shattered.
"And don't think your safe. Due to Tri-Gate Wizard's other effect as it's co-linked to one monster, whoever it's co-linked too can deal twice the damage you take from battle!"
Tri-Gate Wizard charged a spell as the force of the attack got stronger which made Varis step back. (Varis: 2600/Hand: 0)
"And now Tri-Gate Wizard get rid of Shelrokket!" Knowing the kind of threat Shelrokket is, Black knew he had to get rid of it as it's in the same column as Phoenix which can destroy both it, and Tri-Gate Wizard which the wizard tackled the monster destroying it. "I've done enough for now. No need for Mermaid to destroy such annoyances." Setting a card Black is finished for now. "I end my turn."
"Then the effect of Shelrokket activates. As it's destroyed, I can summon another Rokket from my Deck. Such as Exploderrokket!" Varis summons Exploderrokket growling.

"2000... that's enough to end the duel." Ai realized.
"True, it is." Playmaker nodded though he looked unconvinced.
"What!?"
Exploderokket roared as it got ready to detonate over. Black growled thinking over with his set card. "Ah screw it, I'm not losing to HIM of all people!" He pressed some codes before quickly activating his set card. "I activate Secret Blast!"

Exploderrokket couldn't cancel it's ability now detonating in a large blast as both duelists yell out pushed back from the explosion landing on the field.

"DADDY!" Midna cried emerging from his Duel Disk. "Are you ok, should I get mommy?"
Varis grunted as he sat up as Playmaker, and Elsa ran over to check him over. Varis shook his head. "I'm fine." He looked over where Black is slowly getting up.
"I almost lost against him... I was suppose to be the superior one as the one who gave the idea of the Ignis." Black growled to himself. "How could he have gotten the drop on me like that?"
"Varis is a better duelist than you, it's that simple." Ai pointed out. "Next time, you'll definitely lose."
Black glared over at them before he stood. "Alright fine you may have escaped punishment this round, but I'll make you pay next time! Count on that!" He turned around walking off logging out.
Seeing that Midna looked uncertain. "Daddy... he's the one who made Mr. Lightning right?"
Varis stared over before looking at Midna. "Somewhat... similar to you, he's the one who came with the idea but it takes people such as your Grandfather, and people like Playmaker to give them life."
She nodded before looking at her hands. "I... I want to meet him, and at least talk with him... is that ok?"
She feels a rubbing as she sees Ai was rubbing her head. "Ah don't worry your cute head. Sometime you will just... make sure your stronger before then."
Midna looked at him but nodded.
Back at SOL Technologies...
The Inner Circle watches over the match, and in the end Black barely managed a draw. White frowned over from this sighing over. "That brother of mine... he is always too arrogant for his own good, and uses cheat codes too much."
King frowned. "Bishop, send for him."
Bishop nodded sending a message with his Duel Disk. After it they waited for a few minutes before Black arrived back sighing angrily to himself as he closed the door.
"Sit down." King told him calmly though he looked disappointed. "I assume you can explain what just happened?"
Black looked down sitting back down. "Almost lost against Kogami's son sir. I had the victory in my grasp, and he just snatched it away somehow."
"You were cheating." King stated coldly. "You were cheating in a duel against them and were still unable to win, I assume you know how that reflects on our company?"
"What?" Surprised that King is talking to him about his cheating functions Black looked up to him stunned. "But sir, I-"
"No buts." King stated standing and glaring at him coldly. "Your actions in that duel demonstrated that SOL Technologies is inferior to its enemies... I should have you removed from your position and banished from Den City."
His gaze was cold and had an intense anger in it before he sighed.
"Instead, I'll give you one chance... learn your deck inside and out... every combo, every card... and the next time you encounter Varis, Playmaker, or any of their allies you will crush them without mercy... am I clear?"
Fearful for his life Black bowed over to him. "I-I understand sir. Please forgive me."
"My sir, it's been a while since I last seen you this infuriated." Bishop admitted over to King adjusting his glasses. "You do needed to rule with an iron fist after all."
"Quiet Bishop." King frowned before turning. "We have enemies on all sides, it's time we begin phase two."
Bishop nodded over hearing that. "I'll inform Sota that we are moving for phase 2." He turned walking while messaging on his Duel Disk.
White turned over with a frown at Black who was sweating nervously looking down. "I kept on telling you, that fair game is needed in our line of work, and you never once listened. And now look at what you've done, you got King all on your back now for harming our reputation." While Black didn't lift his head he turned slightly to glare over at his brother but didn't say anything. "Unlike you, I don't resort to such tactics, I just do as I'm told as long as it helps me, and Layla live better. You should practice over against your Pawn Drones so your Deck will be better. See you around Zeke, I need to talk to Layla about us advancing in the plan." He stood up turning to King, and bowed. "If you'll excuse me."
King just nodded as he closed his eyes in thought. White turned walking out from this closing the door behind him while Queen frowned before glaring at Black coldly, and the Knight Brothers turned to each other silently.
Ulrich362: Black Rook was behind the Lost Incident... well that's interesting to say the least, oh and Bohman might be willing to join the Lancers? Or at least... he seems willing to talk with them?
bopdog111: Or he just have respect for them.
Ulrich362: That could be... though it sounds like the inner circle is up to something... and it doesn't sound good.
bopdog111: What does King meant by 'second phase'?
