It was a few hours after the sudden duel between Earth, and Lightning. Due to it the time for the attack Lightning told is put on hold which in turn puts there plan of defense on hold. They have a lot to think about though... Lightning all this time didn't wish for domination, or subjugate humanity under his rule. He just wanted to die cause from the simulations he is the reason why the Ignis can't co-exist, and not wishing to have his friends be killed makes scenarios to where they will hate him enough so he can be destroyed before they realize it or if it's unavoidable, use them for Bohman so they all be together forever.
Alongside that Aqua is pretty mad at Earth for letting himself be provoked by Lightning, and almost granting him death which is why she glares at him time to time, and giving him the cold shoulder that said male Ignis flinches, and rubs his head nervously.
"Then... was Kiyoshi right the whole time?" Dr. Genome asked stunned. "All this time, we've been working on destroying the Ignis but... could she have been the key to preserving both humanity and the Ignis and allowing us both to live?"
"Right now things are much more complicated." Ryoken said over to them with crossed arms. "Whatever the case, we can't let our emotions get the better of us like the EARTH Ignis did unless we screw it up. Even if the LIGHT Ignis is responsible for father's coma us Hanoi are now gonna work to preserve them rather then destroy them under Midna's orders."
"Well I think we should hold on talking until Aqua, Miyu, and Cal come back with Jin." Ai suggested over that the talk is almost important to them Jin especially as Lightning is his Ignis. After arriving back with the younger Kolter brother's consciousness data Aqua suggested to head to the hospital to give it back to him. "They need to tell us what we do now."
"I'm going to agree with you on this matter." Ryoken nodded only for Yusaku's Duel Disk to suddenly start beeping catching the entire room off guard.
Yusaku looked over checking over.
Subject: Duel Invitation
Predator Gardener the Number 6 Charisma Duelist, Transcendent Don, has officially challenged you to a match for the title of Number 6 Charisma Duelist.
Seeing it Yusaku frowned. "I don't have time to worry about that anymore."
"Yusaku, Lightning's attack is held back from earlier. So we have a little time right now until tomorrow." Theodore spoke up to him.
"Even so, there's a reason I put this entire Charisma duelist idea behind me... and right now the important thing is to focus on helping Lightning and then stopping SOL Technologies." Yusaku told him.
"That's true, which is why you need to go and accept this challenge... we can't afford to let them be suspicious." Declan noted calmly. "And, it gives me an idea... that is if you're willing to assist with something Ryoken?"
"Hm?" Ryoken turned over interested to Declan.
"It shouldn't be too hard to create a second Playmaker Avatar and have someone use it while Yusaku duels this Transcendent Don. Of course there are only two duelists who could use his deck skillfully enough to create the illusion of being the real Playmaker." Declan answered. "One of them is you."
"Indeed. However the problem is that I'm not quite enough to act like him flawlessly. Me, and him have different personalities, and me not being at the battle will raise some suspicion." Ryoken admitted over.
"Uh, can I have a say at this?" Ai raised his hand.
"I have a feeling I know what you want to say." Declan admitted. "I did say there were two people skilled enough."
"Well we don't need to create another Playmaker." Ai stated over. "Yusaku's account holds two Avatars, Predator Gardener, and Playmaker. So we can just have someone take over the Playmaker avatar while the other one's Charisma Dueling."
"Oh, I get it." Skye realized. "That would make it impossible for them to be the same person."
"And I would guess you be taking over the Playmaker avatar." Flame stated looking at Ai.
"Guilty." Ai chuckled wiping his nose wherever it was. "Ai am clever!"
Ryoken looked at him. "Then I'll duel you... this has three benefits as well."
"Eh?" Ai blinked over to him.
"One, Assuming SOL Technologies knows Playmaker is working with me and the other Knight of Hanoi a duel could easily be interpreted as training and keep their focus off of Yusaku's Charisma match. Second, this is a rare opportunity for us to have a duel with no stakes... and I've been meaning to duel you for some time, and third it can help us come up with ways to adapt to the mind of an Ignis... we need to defeat Lightning without deleting him."
"One drawback is that Ai won't be using his real Deck, and just Playmaker's if you want to duel him." Skye warned him.
"True, but it'll be something and the main point is drawing attention away from Yusaku." Risa pointed out.
Ai turned over to his origin. "Yusaku, you willing to lend your Playmaker persona to me?"
"Go ahead." Yusaku nodded.
Ai turned back to Ryoken grinning. "Then I'll be waiting in Link VRAINS!"
Ryoken crossed his arms with a small nod.
"Well can you wait for the others before heading in?" Flame asked them.
"We can, but Yusaku should head in." Ryoken noted. "He does have a challenge after all."
Yusaku nodded at that before readying over. "INTO THE VRAINS!" His Duel Disk glowed before Lilly catches her brother taking him to sit in Cafe Nom's truck.
In Link VRAINS Predator Gardner found himself in the middle of Link VRAINS virtual city. Checking over he sees the directions for the challenge is near the city sector at the square. Taking a breath he walked to the square. He finds a crowd gathered over to where a statue is at. Tapping one of the people there he got her attention "Excuse me, I'm looking for Transcendent Don."
"Are you Predator Gardener?" she asked.
"Yeah, I am." he nodded.
"Everyone clear! Predator Gardener is here!" she called as they turned before they started clearing a path to him over in the crowd.
Blinking at that he slowly followed the path. Arriving he sees a clearing enough for a duel. And in the clearing was someone in a Dinosaur avatar with Pterodactyal wings, T-Rex Head, white scales, and a dinosaur tail.
"Transcendent Don?" he asked.
"Aye that's me. I've been waiting." the man spoke revealing himself. "You don't look much but I know better then underestimating you. That's what Bayonet-Musket, and King Fallen get for taking you too lightly."
"I've... had a lot of practice against tough opponents before I entered Link VRAINS." Predator Gardener admitted as he looked around. "Is this going to be a Master Duel?"
"Indeed." Transcendent Don answered as they stepped back. "I hope your ready for the time you'll be beaten against the Number 6 Charisma Duelist."
"Maybe, maybe not." Predator Gardener mentioned. "You can go first."

Predator Gardener raised an eyebrow hearing that. "Alright."
"Next two effects activates." Transcendent Don called over. "First the card that was destroyed, Petiteranodon! As it was destroyed by a card effect, I take one Dinosaur that's Level 4 or higher from my Deck, and summon it under the condition it cannot attack this turn!"
"A clever move." Predator Gardener nodded calmly.
"So let's bring out the first of my Dinos who have transcended above!" Transcendent Don raised a card.
"The Meteor Dinosaur has transcended! It shall be given the power of the hottest of flames! May it stomp out those foolish enough to face it in battle! Come forth, Transcendosaurus Meteorus!"
Raising was a large T-Rex like monster with flames around it's body roaring standing above Transcendent Don.

Raising up above beside Meteorus was a large ice crystal forming a larger dinosaur of ice with a long neck, and tail readying.

Transcendent Don glared over in rage at Predator Gardener. Him taken out so easily by a newbie in a OTK. OTK! HIM with the powerful Dinosaurs! "Damn you! You better take pride in this victory!" With that he logged out.
Predator Gardener looked at where he was only to frown before pausing and looking up. "What the?"
Hearing that everyone looked up seeing something that took them off-guard.
"Is that Playmaker, and Varis?"
"Are they dueling?"
"Wow amazing!"
Everyone in the crowd was stunned, and excited over while Predator Gardener grinned seeing this knowing for sure this is gonna confuse SOL Technologies.
Meanwhile...
The Inner Circle were seeing the duel checking in to further confirm there suspicions of Playmaker, and Predator Gardener seeing that he defeated Transcendent Don in a OTK.
"He talks about not underestimating him but he done that anyway." Alexander spoke as he watches with crossed arms. "Either way him defeating him in a OTK looks like a leap into proving he is Playmaker in disguise."
"I agree." Lancelot nodded seeing that. "He's getting too arrogant in these duels for his own good."
"Which means now we can move forward to head in with his arrest in-Wait, what's that?" Bishop suddenly notices they received a notification about something above them from a camera drone.
"Display the image." King mentioned quickly.
The image appeared side by side revealing to there shock Varis, and Playmaker dueling.
"What? That's impossible, how is Playmaker dueling? We just saw Predator Gardener peform an OTK and he's still logged into Link VRAINS!" Queen cried in disbelief.
"Does this mean... Playmaker, and Predator Gardener aren't the same person after all?" Black was quite stunned knowing for sure the two are the same person so this caught him off guard.
"Apparently." White stared with crossed arms. "Seems like the intel Nicholas given us was incorrect."
"But it doesn't make any sense." Bishop frowned. "Playmaker is connected to the incident, we know that and we know everyone who was involved... he has to be Yusaku Fujiki, Theodore Hamilton, or Jin Kolter. The other three are accounted for, and Predator Gardener uses the same deck as Yuri Fujiki with Pendulum elements... so if Playmaker isn't Predator Gardener then who is he?"
"Right now, it doesn't matter." King spoken up. "We must keep our focus for the Ignis. Whoever his identity is, it's irrelevant right now, he has an Ignis that's all that matters. Now let's leave Predator Gardener alone since it looked as though he isn't involved."
"Right." Alexander nodded at that.
Back at Cafe Nom...
Sometime after Ai, and Ryoken headed in Yuri notices Cal, Miyu, and Aqua heading back with Jin who looks more positive then he remembered.
"Welcome back, how are you four?" he asked calmly.
"Feeling better then ever. Look." Cal turned to his brother smiling.
Jin walked over smiling over to Yuri. "Hi Mr. Fujiki. It's a pleasure to meet you for real now." He bowed over which takes the man off guard recalling Jin is too withdrawn to even say a greeting.
"You don't have to bow, we're friends." Yuri pointed out awkwardly.
"When we put his conscious data back in he looked to be more excited like how Cal said he was before the Incident came." Aqua explained over to Yuri. "When we asked him if he remembers the Incident as it was the reason why he's so withdrawn he answered he doesn't remember."
"That might not be a bad thing." Celina admitted.
"Well I'm not complaining but how could he forget something like that?" Yugo asked over confused. "Something as traumatizing as it doesn't just vanish like magic."
"Did Lightning do something." Lulu suggested.
Flame hearing that thought over. "Actually, I think that's it." They looked over as he explained. "I'm not sure anyone else noticed but when Earth attacked Lightning with the attack that would've wiped them both out, Lightning had a single Life Point left when he should have none. He then said he hoped that what he done didn't hurt Jin."
"Now that you mention it that's true. How did he have that life point?" Yuya asked in confusion.
"I think I know." They turned over to Emma who looked over. "Could he had converted some of Jin's conscious data into extra Life Points so he can survive?"
"You can do that?" Lilly questioned.
"Ignis can do anything. And from how this is looking, he must've used the conscious data that involved Jin's memories of the Hanoi Project." Genome answered with crossed arms looking at Jin. "That in turn must've erased his trauma, and what the LIGHT Ignis done to him by accident."
"But... what if he reunites with Lightning? Won't that bring the memories back?" Zuzu asked him.
"Highly unlikely from how he's acting around Aqua." Clarissa looked over that Jin, and Aqua had met each other.
"That's true... by the way, where's Ryoken?" Miyu asked curiously.
"Well we had a thought. Yusaku had a challenge request from the number 6 Charisma Duelist, and we can't afford to waste time getting ready for the battle tomorrow so he almost refused until Ai suggested that he takes over his Playmaker avatar dueling Ryoken while Yusaku duels the Charisma Duelist." Steve explained over.
"Number 6? When did he become a Charisma Duelist in the first place?" Jin asked in shock.
"Yeah there's a lot you need to know." Cal pat his back with a smile. "But don't rush Jin learn them at your own pace." Then he looked over. "Now, I'm gonna join the battle with you guys. I been on the sidelines for long enough, I'm gonna take part in the fight at Lightning's Palace. Now that Jin's better, I got no reason to keep myself from joining."
"Are you sure you're up to this?" Declan asked him. "You haven't had a duel in some time."
"Yes, I got no reason to step back now." Cal nodded to confirm.
"Then we have a plan... the only question is when will the LIGHT Ignis make his next move and will Midna be ready for him?" Steve inquired calmly.
"He said tomorrow." Sachiko said before looking at him. "And Steve... we probably not get out without a scratch. If I fall, just please promise to keep my brother safe."
Frowning he took her hand. "We'll both get through this together, I promise Sachiko."
Sachiko smiled before then turning to Lilly. "That goes double for you Lilly."
"I'll be ok, after all I have to keep Ryoken and our little girl safe." Lilly smiled before pausing. "Speaking of which, how's his duel with Ai going?"
"Looks like going well. I'm not able to tell it's Ai." Celina admitted as she watches.
"Hopefully SOL Technologies won't be able to tell either." Yuri admitted.
Just then Yusaku exited Cafe Nom. "That was real easy. Just two more before Lilly."
"That's going to be a duel to see." Cal admitted only to wince. "And that's going to leave a mark."
They looked over hearing that. They saw Playmaker fly back as Borreload Savage Dragon destroyed Decode Talker dropping Playmaker to just 200 life points.
"Ouch." Yuto winced a little.
"You can say that again." Yugo agreed.
"Well I guess we're all set for Lightning's attack?" Kenneth asked over to them with crossed arms.
"We will be once Ai and Ryoken get back." Yusaku nodded.
"Well, I'm not sure I'll be much help. But I hope I won't be a burden." Jin spoken over to them.
"You won't be." Miyu reassured him with a gentle smile.
Jin turned over to her, and blinked seeing her.
"Everything will work out." she smiled.
Jin stared before turning away blushing. She blinked as Ai and Ryoken appeared though Ai looked annoyed. "Did you have to do that?"
"You lost?" Skye guessed.
"No, I only took blasts from all of his dragons to the face... I'm just glad no cameras caught my humiliating defeat, especially when he used my monster to deal the finishing blow." Ai frowned only to pause. "Er... I mean Yusaku's monster."
"Ai?"
"Yeah?"
"That went publicly so pretty sure the Inner Circle seen it." Aqua stated over with a dull expression.
"Ah glitch, sorry Yusaku, I did the best I could but I ended up losing." Ai admitted.
"As long as it helps with the Charisma Duelists then that's all I care." Yusaku told him.
"Well, is everyone prepared?" Ryoken asked calmly.
"We have time until tomorrow." Celina spoke over to them.
"Should be time for us to train." Rin agreed saying that.
bopdog111: Well I think next should be the true time for the final battle ahead. Aside from side things like what Predator Gardener, and Playmaker worked out with them.
