As they stepkc into the physical therapy facility, Logan, Camille, and Ms. Knight make their way to the waiting room.
In strolls Jordan, greeting them with a warm smile. "Well, hello there, Logan and Ms. Knight," he says before turning to Camille. "And you must be the enchanting Camile. Logan can't stop talking about you."
Camille raises an eyebrow. "Oh, really? What exactly has he been saying?"
Jordan chuckles. "Just how incredible you are, but also how things have been a bit rocky between you two lately."
With a confident stride, Callie enters the room. "Hey, Camile. It's great to finally meet you. Just so you know, my relationship with Logan is purely professional and platonic."
Camille shoots Logan a suspicious look. "Is this some kind of intervention?"
Logan shakes his head. "No, not at all. I brought you here to witness for yourself that Callie is not the boyfriend-stealing villain you've made her out to be. Just watch her work, and maybe you'll see things in a new light."
"Logan, are you prepared to commence?" Callie inquires.
"Indeed, I am," Logan replies, rising and trailing after her to the patient area to initiate his appointment.
"Have you diligently practiced the exercises I assigned for you at home?" Callie questions.
"Every single day, for an hour," Logan affirms.
"It's reassuring to know that you adhere so faithfully to the instructions," Callie remarks. "Some of my other patients are not as forthcoming as you are. They could learn a thing or two from you."
"Indeed, very true," Logan agrees.
"How is your shoulder feeling today?" Callie asks, examining it.
"It's alright, but still a bit tight. I've been avoiding lifting heavy objects as advised, but I did play with Katie recently and may have strained it a bit. I only felt the pain later that night when I went to bed," Logan explains, settling on the cushioned examination table.
"Alright, what exactly were you doing with Katie that caused the strain in your shoulder?" Callie inquires, gently stretching it back and forth to loosen it up.
"I can't quite recall. I think we were sitting on the couch, and she tickled me first, so I tickled her back. It was quite enjoyable," Logan recalls.
"I'm sure it was. It sounds like you two share a wonderful bond," Callie remarks.
"We certainly do. I've known her since she was a baby. I even witnessed her taking her first steps and uttering her first words," Logan reminisces.
"That's truly special. Witnessing a baby's first milestones is always a heartwarming experience," Callie agrees.
