It was Tuesday morning when Damian entered the lobby again. He didn't have an appointment this time but he was hoping no one would know. He had been to the job interview yesterday and later received an e-mail telling him that he didn't get the job. He wasn't upset about not getting the job. He was upset that he wouldn't be walking into a smile from Joasia every morning.

She was once again sitting behind the counter with her curly hair pulled back in a ponytail. She wore a light green suit with a white shirt underneath. Apparently suits were her work attirement everyday. He wondered what color underwear she was wearing underneath and how she would look in it.

She looked up from the counter and furrowed her brows when she found him standing on the floor. He had been waiting too long. That had to be it. He put on his best smile and walked over to her.

"I'm starting my new job today," he said.
"Just a second," she said.

She looked down at the screen but moved her hand under the table. Two securities suddenly came rushing over and grabbed his arms.

"What are you doing?" He hissed.
"You don't work here. Miss Fern turned you down for the job," she said.
"That's not true," he tried.

She nodded at the securities and they pulled him out of the building with the instructions of never coming back. When they turned around to walk back inside, he heard one of them chuckle to the other.

"That has to be the one miss Fern found creepy," he said.

He gritted his teeth in anger and wanted nothing more than to jump the two men. He didn't do anything. He watched them go back inside while he walked away to lick his wounds. He wasn't creepy. He was a man in love with a woman behind the counter in that building. He had the right to see his girlfriend.

Joasia was already his girlfriend. She just didn't know it yet.
