"Anna come on get up" Ashlyn shouted through the bedroom door
"GO AWAY" Anna called back turning over in her bed trying to ignore her sister persistent attempts to get her up for school
"Anna if you do not get out of that bed right now I swear to god I will go and get a cold bucket of water and chuck it over you right now" Ashlyn yelled again
Suddenly the door sprung open to reveal a very tired and dishevelled looking Anna
"Fine I'll get up" Anna groaned rubbing her eyes
"Great breakfast is ready see you down there" Ashlyn smiled and handed a cup of tea over to her younger sister
"She up then?" Aaron smirked as his younger sister wandered back in to the kitchen
"Yeah she is up but she aint to happy and non to responsive" Ashlyn grinned and settled down on a stool at the large island in the kitchen
"Thanks for the tea" Anna groaned as she sat down on her own stool and looked at the breakfast in front of her
"You seem happy this morning" Aaron winked at Ashlyn who was trying hard not to giggle as she took a sip of her tea
"Oh shut up will ya you two" Anna frowned pushing the food around on her plate
"Eat up or you will be starving half way through first period" Ashlyn looked at her sister
"Yeah I know, can't I just take some fruit" Anna moaned looking down at the bacon and sausages on the plate
"Fine but make sure you grab a banana because they are good for the brain" Ashlyn sighed
"Alright" Anna moaned before jumping off the stool and heading back upstairs to finish getting ready
"Since when did she become a teenager with an attitude?" Aaron watched as Ashlyn started to tidy up the kitchen
"I don't know probably between me leaving school and her starting her final year I guess" Ashlyn looked over her shoulder at her older brother who was now finishing off Anna's breakfast
"How come you never became a rebellious teen?" Aaron grinned when he spotted Ashlyn rolling her eyes at his second breakfast
"I was too busy looking after all of you" she smirked "and if you are finished with that put it in the sink and don't you think you better start eating less I mean you aren't going to stay a big rock and roll star forever if you start gaining weight like there's no tomorrow"
"Oh cool it sis I haven't put on weight yet" Aaron grinned
"Yeah yet being the operative word in that sentence" Ashlyn smirked as she carried on cleaning the dishes
"Ash will you drive me to school" Anna called from the door way where she was fixing her jacket and hair in the hall way mirror
"yeah love just give me two minutes to grab my bag and keys and I will be with ya" Ashlyn turned and dried her hands quickly on the towel and headed up the stairs to her room where her handbag was sitting on her dressing table
"Thanks Ash I couldn't bare driving today" Anna groaned as she sat in the car
"Yeah love you do seem tired" Ashlyn looked her sister over with a hint of worry
"Am fine it's just going to seem weird without you and all the girls in school you know" Anna looked at her sister from the corner of her eye
"yeah I guess it will but you will still see us all the time and it's not like you will be on your own you have Steph, Paulette, Wanda and Sharon and you know Frenchys gone back to school" Ashlyn smiled encouragingly
"Yeah I know and well Sandy's cousin he starts today doesn't he?" Anna turned to look at Ashlyn
"I think he does at least that's what she said the other day so I guess so" Ashlyn turned to smile at her sister again hoping to encourage her
"Well that's something I suppose" Anna sighed and turned to look out the window
As they pulled up to the parking lot Ashlyn spotted a familiar red and white car parked two cars down
"Look there's French"
"You going to come and say hi?" Anna smiled
"Erm I better not love I have to get going" Ashlyn frowned
"Oh right I see" Anna turned to look at their friend who was waiting by her car
"Go on with French I can pick you up tonight if you want" Ashlyn watched as Anna got out of the car
"Yeah I suppose" Anna turned to look back at her sister "can we do something tonight?"
"Sure anything you like love" Ashlyn smiled
"Great well I'll see you later then" Anna moved back from the car and watched her sister as she drove out of the parking lot
"This is going to be a weird year" Anna sighed to herself as she headed towards her older friend
"Hey Anna" Frenchy called as she spotted the younger girls approach
"Hi French" Anna smiled
"You alright?" Frenchy looked the younger girl over, Ashlyn had mentioned that she might find it tough at first without Ashlyn being around
"Yeah just a little weird Ash not being here you know" Anna smiled
"am sure you miss her being around but me and you we got to get on with things for now" Frenchy smiled at the younger girl before wrapping an arm around her and leading her towards the busses where she was going to meet Sandy's cousin.
"So what does he look like?" Anna asked looking over all of the kids getting off the buss
"I don't know I guess like Sandy but I haven't seen him before" Frenchy shrugged
"Do you think that's him?" Anna smiled pointing to the well-dressed blonde man who has just walked off the bus looking around confused
"Yeah I guess that's him" Frenchy giggled and headed off in the direction of the young man
"Michael?" Frenchy called
"Frenchy?"
"Hi"
"Hello erm hi"
"Michael this is Anna" Frenchy smiled turning towards the young brunette beside him
"Hello Anna" Michael grinned
"Alright mate" Anna smirked when his face looked shocked
"You're English?" Michael looked over the smaller girl
"Yeah well barely am from Liverpool" Anna laughed
"Oh right" Michael laughed slightly
"Well I better get going said I would meet Sharon before class" Anna smiled
"See you later Anna" Frenchy smiled and waved as the smaller girl bounced off towards the school
"She seems nice" Michael smiled down at the small red haired girl
"Yeah she is, your cousin Sandy asked us to show you the ropes around here" Frenchy smiled and grabbed his arm pulling him towards the entrance
"Sharon" Anna called as she headed towards the lockers
"Anna" Sharon turned and grabbed the smaller girl in a hug
"How was the last of your summer?" Sharon smiled
"Oh it was great, we all went on the last gigs of Aaron's tour which was fun" Anna moved to her locker which was between Paulette's and Sharon's
"Oh that sounds exciting" Sharon giggled
"What did you get up to?" Anna grinned at her friend's excitement
"Oh I spent it with the girls and Louis" Sharon blushed
"Sounds like you two are quite the thing now huh?" Anna turned watching her friend whose cheeks seemed to be turning even redder
"Yeah I suppose" Sharon mumbled shyly
"Aww that's great, you two are super cute together" Anna smiled sadly and turned back to her locker grabbing her books
"Where is your first class?" Sharon looked down the halls waiting for the rest of their friends to arrive
"Oh I don't know" Anna grumbled looking down at her schedule
"Am in Art after home room" Sharon smiled looking over her friends schedule
"Oh yeah so am I so I guess I will see you there" Anna put her books in to her bag and shut the locker door quickly
"Sharon am going to head off to home room I want to make sure I get a good seat this year" Anna smiled looking up to where the other girls where headed towards them which meant that the boys where bound to arrive soon after
"Oh ok Anna see you there" Sharon looked puzzled as Anna wandered up the hall way quickly
"Hey was that Anna?" Steph asked as she arrived at the lockers
"Yeah" Sharon smiled at the girls
"Where was she going?" Rhonda asked worrying about her friend's odd behaviour
"She said she wanted to make sure she got a good seat in home room?" Sharon shrugged
"That's weird she's a pink lady of course she would get a good seat even if she turned up last" Paulette frowned
"Yeah I know it was weird she seemed a little jumpy and I don't know sad" Sharon explained
"maybe it's because Ashlyn's not with her I mean they have had a rough couple of years and well maybe she just doesn't know how to deal with being on her own now" Rhonda sighed opening her locker and thinking about her friend
"Yeah I guess, so how was everyone's summer?" Sharon asked trying to change the subject
"Hey Anna"
She knew it was him calling but she didn't want to turn around if she just kept going she wouldn't have to talk to him and she could always lie that she didn't hear him if he asks her
"ANNA" she heard him again this time he sounded closer
Anna kept walking through the halls trying to move as far away from him as possible
"Anna" she felt someone grip her arm and turned around quickly coming face to face with him
"Oh hi Johnny" Anna smiled trying to cover her nerves
"I was like shouting you" Johnny frowned watching her with suspicion
"Oh I didn't hear you I guess I was in a world of my own" Anna explained turning to try and carry on walking
"Where are you going?" Johnny asked keeping hold of her arm
"Oh Home room I wanna make sure I get a good seat this year" Anna explained trying to pull her arm free
"But I thought you were going to help me with the plan" Johnny looked the small girl over, she was wearing a white shirt open just a little to show a yellow T-shirt underneath, her dark blue pencil skirt showing off the curves of her hips and legs.
"Oh yeah I forgot look Johnny I don't think this plan is such a good idea I mean not with me anyway it's not like I would make someone jealous is it?" Anna frowned and moved to walk away again only for him to grab her arm again
"Why do you think it won't work? And of course she would get jealous of you" Johnny frowned, the plan was to make Steph jealous by pretending to date Anna however he was hoping that this would show Anna he could be a great boyfriend and they would then end up dating
"Well am just not your type am I and well people know I don't really date and you should do it with someone she is closer to like erm… Paulette" Anna grinned widely trying to hide her uncomfortable feelings
"Paulette? Why would I want to fake date Paulette and she is stupid she would tell Steph it was fake in a heartbeat" Johnny groaned
"Well don't tell her it's fake then just date her" Anna shrugged
"I can't date Paulette" Johnny frowned fixing the collar on his jacket
"Why not?" Anna asked searching his face for a glint of hope
"Well because I erm... well I don't like her like that and well she would think it was real and what would happen if Steph does get jealous and then I just dump Paulette for her then"
Anna watched him carefully it seemed like there was something he wasn't saying but she didn't know what it was,
"look Johnny, I don't know what you're not telling me but the thing is Steph seems like she's moving on am sorry about that but she seems happy don't you think you should just be happy with someone else too" Anna sighed watching his face carefully
"But I, look I, well I just can't go on a date with Paulette" Johnny mumbled
"well go on a date with someone and see if Steph reacts but make it quick because the longer you leave it the more likely she is to move on and I really think you should do the same" Anna smiled sadly and hurried away towards home room
Johnny watched her for a moment wondering if she was aware of just how much he wanted to be with her
"Hey Sharon" Anna called as her friend entered the room, Lois following closely behind
"Anna" Sharon smiled at her friend and headed for the spare seat waiting beside her
"You will never guess what's just happened" Sharon started as soon as she took her seat
"What?" Anna raised an eyebrow at her friend waiting to hear this exciting news
"Paulette was flirting with Johnny I mean shamelessly flirting it was unreal and there he is trying to get Steph to explain why she broke up with him over the summer" Sharon rambled on while Anna watched their new home room tutor who seemed to taking an awful lot of pills
"did she explain because they seemed really happy one minute and the next she was breaking up with him and that was that" Anna turned to look at her friend who was also looking across the room but this time at her new boyfriend who appeared to carrying something in his hand towards a girl who had fallen asleep in class
Sharon turned back to Anna after the two girls' watched Louis drop a mouse on the sleeping girl who screamed and ran out of the class room, which caused poor Mr Spears to collapse on the desk with shock
"Well no she didn't explain, I guess she will when she's ready" Sharon pondered
"Yeah but it always seemed a little sudden to me but then again what do I know I haven't dated since I left Liverpool" Anna giggled
"Well girl you should really get back to it you know" Sharon smiled brightly
"Oh yeah and who am I meant to date? You that jacket means I can only date T-birds and the only T-birds available are Johnny and Davy and to be perfectly honest Davys nice an all but he aint really my type and Johnny well I don't feel like getting caught in the middle of a domestic" Anna smirked
"Yeah I see your problem" Sharon frowned
"exactly besides don't worry about me" Anna grinned "although I am worried about Mr spears I guess a year with Kenickie and my sister in his home room was enough to give the poor man mental exhaustion"
The two girls giggled as the started to pack away their stuff to head to art
"Yeah I guess so, I wouldn't want to try and keep your Ash and Kenickie in order for a full year" Sharon smiled
"Well I spent a whole year listening to them and believe me I feel like I might head a little crazy myself" Anna laughed
Anna and Sharon headed out to the regular lunch table to meet up with the girls,
"So what did happen between your sister and Kenickie?" Sharon asked as they started to pull out their lunch
"Oh you know he was a dick, she got hurt, called him a dick and then got with Noah" Anna brushed off with a wave of her hand
"Noah? the guy who was in the band with her?" Sharon smiled brightly
"Yeah him"
"Oh he was yummy" Sharon smiled dreamily
"Who was yummy?" Paulette asked as she arrived at the table with Rhonda
"Oh Noah" Anna smiled softly
"Who is Noah?" Paulette grinned excitedly
"He is the boy who was singing with Ash at the party you remember?" Sharon explained
"Yeah he was yummy" Paulette sighed "why you guys talking about him? Anna are you going with him?"
"No that would be hard to do as he only seems to have eyes for my sister" Anna frowned
"Really? Lucky girl" Paulette smiled softly
"Your Ashlyn does have a lot of luck with guys" Rhonda looked up from her salad to look at her friend
"I suppose with the way they look but not always the way they act I mean some of them have been ok but she has had her fair share of heart break" Anna shrugged
"I guess every girl does at some point in her life" Steph smiled as she sat down next to Anna
"Suppose anyways that's enough about that how was everyone's summer?" Anna asked suddenly feeling a little uncomfortable with the way Steph smiled at her
"Hey Anna you coming?" Rhonda called as they started to cross the athletics field to wear the boys were at football practice
"Am gonna go to my locker and then look for Frenchy I'll see you guys in class later" Anna waved and headed off in the other direction
As she turned the corner she heard rumbling of motorcycles so she headed towards it, there on the field was Balmudo and his gang of rebels without a clue as Ashlyn called them
She watched as they talked to the T-birds and then flirted with the pink ladies, her eyes darting to Stephanie as she watched with a little too much interest in the bikers
Stephanie may be leader while they were in school but her sister was still head of the pink ladies and if she found out that Stephanie not only was with a guy who was not a T-bird before graduation which she may forgive but if that guy happened to be a scorpion she would have her jacket taken away
Anna frowned as she heard the bikes rumble towards her, she turned and watched as Balmudo and two of his goons stopped just in front of her
"Anna"
"Leo" Anna smirked knowing he hated to be referred to by his name in public
"You look worried" Leo continued carefully watching the younger girl
"Well it's nothing to do with you more a friend of mine" Anna frowned at him thinking he could frighten her
"Really? Which one?" Leo smirked suddenly interested in gossiping with the younger Plunkett sister
"What's it got to do with you?" Anna growled her patience starting to wear thin
"Oh just concern for a pretty girl" Leo grinned
"Oh god that's disgusting" Anna grimaced
"What is?" Leo frowned
"Did you just try and hit on me?" Anna smirked
"No just well you are pretty that's all" Leo rambled suddenly a little lost for words
"well I might be but me and you never going to happen first off I don't think I am trampy enough for your tastes I mean Cha-Cha and Rizzo not exactly a high standard of girl there, second I am a pink lady and you are a scorpion that's a definite bad thing and third you are older than me" Anna blushed a little under the look in his eyes
"well maybe I am looking for a better type of girl these days, and Rizzo was a pink lady and no one said anything to her about dating me and age is just a number baby" Leo smirked watching a small rose tint come in to the normally pale cheeks
"Well it might be to you but what do you think my sister would do to you and me if we were ever seen together?" Anna smirked
"I think we could explain" Balmudo grinned dangerously
"look am flattered Leo I am but I doubt this would ever happen so why not find some other girl to bother" Anna frowned and started to walk away
"I can keep trying Anna"
She heard him yell before she heard the bikes start up again and head off in the other direction
Her head was spinning as she got towards her locker did that really just happen? Did he just ask me out? There is no way he meant it; he is trying to make a fool out of me, why would I care what he is up to? Why me though I mean there are other pink ladies to make a fool off? Oh I guess because my sister embarrassed him and made a show of him when she punched him in the face, still I wonder what his sudden interest in me is?
"ANNA" her head snapped around at the call of her name as all the thoughts suddenly went silent
"Sorry Rhonda I was completely out of it" she sighed as she calmed herself down, Rhonda's call had startled her and made her jump
"It's ok but what is with you today you seem all over the place" Rhonda asked looking her friend over carefully
"I have just had a pretty weird day so far and I have a feeling it's going to get worse before it gets better" Anna frowned as she placed her books in to her locker
"well me and you have PE next so how about we change and head out to are normal spot sit on the bleachers and talk it through" Rhonda smiled encouragingly at her friend
"Yeah sure" Anna answered as she shut her locker and headed towards the Gym block linking her arm in Rhonda's
As soon as they reached the bleachers Rhonda started "so what is going on?"
Anna paused for a second seeing the serious look in Rhonda's face and hearing it in the tone of her voice, it was almost like she had been taking lessons from Ash
"Well where do I start?" Anna sighed running her hands through her raven hair
"Well let's start with why you seem to be sad all the time at the moment and don't lie to me about how you miss Ashlyn because I know that's not it, what's happened love?" Rhonda leaned forward and squeezed Anna's hand
"I love Johnny" Anna blurted out
"What?"
"I love Johnny, I know I shouldn't and I know that he wants to be with Steph but I just can't help it, when we first met I started to fall straight away and ever since we have been friends I have been going deeper and deeper since" Anna groaned looking down at the floor
"Oh Anna, why didn't you tell me?" Rhonda smiled
"because I didn't want you all to know I mean your all Steph's friends and I didn't want to look like I was trying to come between them which I wasn't and then when they broke up I didn't want people thinking I had anything to do with it or him having the chance to find out because I don't want him to get all weird on me because he finds out I like him"
Rhonda sighed and reached out to hug the smaller girl sat in front of her
"Oh Anna you could of told me and I wouldn't have judged and besides everyone can see you two have a connection, and Steph wouldn't think badly of you for that and we certainly wouldn't I mean Paulette has liked Johnny for years and we all know she tries to hide but let's face it she fails, he walks by and she's flirting with him and swooning like he's Vince Fontaine" Rhonda grinned
"Rhonda I just I find it hard to be around him now because he wants me to help with this plan to get Steph back and all I really wanna do is kiss and tell him to pick me instead"
"Well why don't you do that?" Rhonda giggled
"Because it would never work, he would run a mile and still go after Steph and we would never be close friends again and I would rather be that then nothing at all"
"Why would he run a mile? You don't know maybe he feels the same about you"
"Why would he when he has had a girl like Steph? I mean look at me to her, she is beautiful and blonde and funny and talented, she dresses nice and always looks great compared to her I look like a big old fluffy marshmallow" Anna groaned
"Anna don't be stupid you are nothing like a big old fluffy marshmallow, first off you're not old and secondly where is all this fluff your on about and thirdly you are not big and you're not a marshmallow so I don't know where you got that idea from and just to clarify you are just as beautiful as Steph and you are Funny, kind, special and fun so why wouldn't he want to be with you?" Rhonda smiled grabbing her friends hand again
"Oh I don't know I think I am just going to wait this one out Rhonda" Anna looked up and smiled a little at her friend's kind face
"Ok so what else has bothered you today?" Rhonda asked looking out over the field where the other girls in their year were playing softball
"Oh well you will never guess who tried to chat me up" Anna giggled
"Tried to what?" Rhonda looked confused
"Oh tried to erm… make a pass at me type of thing you know flatter me" Anna grinned at Rhonda who still looked at little confused
"So they were like trying to ask you out?" Rhonda frowned
"yeah sort of you know they talk nice to you in the hope you will talk nice back and eventually they ask you out" Anna explained watching Rhonda's face change as she realised what Anna was talking about
"Oh I get ya" Rhonda giggled
"Yeah well great but guess who it was?" Anna smiled
"Erm that new guy Mike is it?"
"Ewww no he's Sandy's cousin that's weird and nope not him keep guessing" Anna grimaced at the thought out Michael asking her out, she knew he was a nice guy but not exactly her type
"Oh I don't know Anna just tell me" Rhonda pouted in the hopes that Anna would give up and tell her
"Leo Balmudo" Anna laughed
"Shut up no he never" Rhonda sat with her mouth open in shock
"Yeah he did" Anna grimaced in a joking fashion
"Oh god that is horrible, no wonder you're a little down today" Rhonda giggled
"I know he really tried talking to me like we were friends and like we could actually go out some time as if that was even possible could you imagine Ashlyn's face if I told her I was going to go out with the leader of the scorpions"
"Oh you would never be allowed back in to your house again" Rhonda smiled knowing how serious that would be to the older of the two sisters
"Yeah I know, look come on we better head in and get changed and besides I need to get ready for shop after this" Anna stretched as she stood up from the bench and headed towards the gym changing rooms
"Don't you have shop with the boys?" Rhonda grinned as she raced to catch up with the small girl who seemed to be running like a cheetah
"Yeah why?" Anna paused for a second turning to look at Rhonda questioningly
"Oh no reason" Rhonda giggled and grabbed Anna's hand as the two rushed in to the building to get changed
"Hi Anna" Anna's head sprung up from the motorbike she was working on to look at the small brown haired boy stood in front of her
"Hi Davey, how's things?" She smiled as she turned her attention back to what she was doing
"Not bad say are you coming bowling tonight?" Davey smiled brightly at the small girl sat on the floor
"Erm I don't know I was going to do something with Ashlyn tonight, is everyone else going?" Anna looked up waiting for an answer
"yeah and I think Goose said that a few of the older Birds and pink ladies are going to be turning up as well"
"oh right well it sounds like it might be fun but I will have to see if Ash wants to so don't tell everyone am coming will ya in case I don't make it" Anna smiled
"Yeah sure but I hope you do make it I mean who else is going to find it funny that Johnny's taken Paulette on a date?" Davey smirked
"He's doing what?" Anna shrieked a little
"Yeah he asked her before to look special" Davey giggled leaning forwards on to the bike she was working on as though they were talking in a conspiracy
"Oh god and what did she say?" Anna forced a giggle to hide the fact that she was angry at Johnny for asking Paulette
"No problem Johnny" Davey stood up in a girly pose doing a very good impression of Paulette's "sexy voice"
"Oh god that makes me wants to cringe" Anna frowned
"Yeah I know it was really bad" Davey explained
"I bet" Anna growled as she attacked the bike parts with a little too much vigour
"Anna are you alright?" Davey asked looking down at her with a raised eyebrow
"What oh yeah am fine just this ignition is being temperamental" Anna looked up to Davey with a smile
"Well as long as you're alright anyway I better get going I need to go home and get changed and Goose is taking Rhonda so I don't have my ride tonight" Davey moaned as he turned to pick up his bag
"Hey Davey me and Ash can give you a lift" Anna called as she sprung up from the floor
"I don't wanna be any bother" Davey turned to her looking doubtful
"When have you ever been bother David Jaworski?" called a voice from behind the two teens
"Hey Ash" Anna called as she moved around the bike she had been working on rubbing her hands on her overalls
"You nearly ready you two?" Ashlyn smiled at Davey
"Yeah ill just wash my hands" Anna called as she headed off to the sink
"How are you Davey?" Ashlyn looked the younger boy over, he looked a little older than last year but still looked to be waiting for a growth spurt and his face was still young but there was something about him he always seemed quiet and little bit dopy but really he was a very caring and interesting young man
"Am good thanks Ash how are you?" Davey smiled looking over the older girl; she was wearing a black pencil skirt that was tight to her legs, a red long peplum shirt and her pink lady jacket
"Am doing good thanks love" Ashlyn smiled at him but her eyes wandered around the workshop looking for the other boy in her sisters life
"We are all going bowling tonight Ash you wanna come?" Davey looked the older girl over excitedly
"Does Anna want to go?" Ashlyn asked as she looked back to her younger boy her eyes spotting the person she was looking for
"I think she does but she's been acting a bit weird today or at least that's what Rhonda said during English" Davey explained following Ashlyn's line of site towards his friend who was in turn watching her sister
"well if she wants to go then am all for it besides Sandy said that a few of them where going to do that tonight so why not" Ashlyn grinned as her sister turned and headed back towards her, Anna's head turned towards her sister but her eyes darting to look at the younger leader of the T-birds
"Well you two ready?" Ashlyn smirked as her sisters cheeks pinked when she noticed Davey and Ashlyn had noticed her looking at Johnny
"Yeah am ready" Davey grinned and grabbed his bag
"Yeah me too" Anna mumbled and headed out of the shop behind her sister and Davey
"Ash do you think Davey noticed me looking at Johnny because I told Rhonda today and I don't want everyone to know" Anna moaned as they pulled in to the garage
"I don't know love but if you don't want everyone to know maybe you should be more careful or maybe just tell him the truth I mean he is single now right?" Ashlyn smiled as she got out of the car
"yeah I guess but what if he doesn't like me back and then I would of just made a huge fool out of myself" Anna sighed as she walked in to the kitchen following her older sister
"I suppose but you never know until you try"
"Never know until you try what?" Aaron asked as he walked in to the kitchen looking between his two mischievous sisters
"None of your business" Anna snapped glaring at her brother
"Well someone's still not in a better mood" Aaron giggled placing his cup down in front of the teapot and turning to fill the kettle
"I was till I had to look at your ugly face" Anna smirked
"well that's nice aint it, she lives in my house rent free, eats my food, uses my money to buy her clothes and she calls me ugly what kind of a sister is that" Aaron exclaimed pretending to be hurt
"Your sister now stop being stupid and put the kettle on will ya" Ashlyn groaned trying to stop both of them
"Yes mam" Aaron grinned saluting at Ashlyn
"Oh what am I going to do with you two?" Ashlyn grumbled
"the same as you always do put up with us until we annoy you and then shout at us afterwards which we will then behave because you are a scary small woman" Aaron grinned again
"shut up" Ashlyn rolled her eyes and turned to Anna who was sitting looking between the two with amusement written all over her face
"right Davey said they are all going bowling tonight and I know Sandy said some of the others might be doing that so do you fancy it and then we can stop for some food on the way home" Ashlyn smiled at her younger sister
"Yeah sounds great but I think we better get changed" Anna grinned "because if you bowl in that skirt you could either rip it or cause a riot"
"Ha ha very funny" Ashlyn smirked as she jumped up from the stool she had been sat on and headed towards the hall way to go upstairs
"Behave yourself you two" Aaron called after them as they both wandered away
"Shut up" they both replied in unison
"I will never get used to that" Aaron mumbled as he poured water in to the teapot
"Ash what are you wearing tonight?" Anna called as she walked in to her sister's room
"I don't know love am just cleaning myself up and freshening my make up before I look through that wardrobe of mine"
"Where is Noah tonight?" Anna called sitting down on her sister's bed
"I don't know love he said he might show up here later but I haven't heard from him since Saturday" Ashlyn called back as she pulled her up in to a large round bun on the top of her head
"Do you miss him?" Anna asked looking at her sister suspiciously
"Yeah I do a bit" Ashlyn frowned a little in to the mirror while finishing her hair and grabbing her eyeliner
"Even though you forced him away?" Anna watched her sister carefully from the door way
"I never forced him away he left what wait" Ashlyn stammered when she realised what her sister was doing
"You don't love Noah do you? You still love Kenickie" Anna smiled softly at her sister
"No I don't I… Yeah ok I still love him and I don't want to I want to hate him and I know Noah is better for me and I know he is a good man and would look after me and he loves me at least I think he does and I want to love him I really do… I like him a lot I guess I just have to hope that I will end up forgetting Kenickie and I will eventually learnt to love Noah" Ashlyn sighed as she sat down on the edge of her bath looking at her sister with sad eyes
"Ash this is daft if you love him, then you love him just go and tell him and you can't keep Noah hanging around waiting for you to fall in love him that isn't fair" Anna sat beside her older sister placing an arm around her shoulders
"Yeah I know love but I just can't talk to him and he's gone I don't know, Me and Noah are good together and ok I don't love him but not all love is instant sometimes it takes some time and some work and then you learn to love" Ashlyn stood up and moved over to the mirror to finish her make up
"yeah I guess you're right, but I think you should consider what you're doing to Noah I mean he is obviously head over heels for you and you only like him, he will start to notice and if he does what are going to do, you might hurt him not Ash but it will be worse if you leave it longer" Anna frowned watching her sister put on her lipstick
"When did you get so smart in the affairs of the heart anyway?" Ashlyn smiled sadly at her younger sister
"Since listening to you for years with your boyfriends and you giving advice to everyone but yourself" Anna smirked
"Well if that's my advice I better take it then" Ashlyn grinned
"Yeah you better had now what are we going to wear?" Anna giggled heading out in to her sister's room
"Aaron we're off" Anna called as she hurried down the stairs just in front of her sister who was pulling on her jacket
"Ok you two have fun" he called back from the large sitting room
"Aaron there is a casserole in the fridge for you just put it in the oven on a low heat" Ashlyn called going past the door
"I can look after myself you know" Aaron grinned appearing in the door way
"Yeah and pigs can fly" Ashlyn smirked before turning to rush towards the garage
"You ready I mean we don't have to go if you're going to be uncomfortable" Ashlyn looked over worried at her sister as she got in the car
"Nope am going to be fine and besides after your makeover he might just notice me" Anna looked down at her clothes
"darling in that outfit and with that make up more than Johnny Nogorelli will notice you and if they don't well I would think they would need to see a doctor about their eyes" Ashlyn grinned as she turned the car over and started to pull out the garage
"We will see" Anna smirked
