My dear readers… I can not apologise more for the large gap in my posting habits… as I may have mentioned in other posts firstly I got married, my other half was in a car accident which meant I had to take time of work and look after him and when I was just getting him back to himself I started to get ill and after a week of throwing up and then a small amount of calculation I realised I was pregnant…. Now that was great news however the 4 months of intense morning sickness to the point where I could only keep in water and the smallest amount of toast a day was not so great. And once that passed as I reached 5 months I then struggled with baby brain and my concentration was well and truly shot…. So as my daughter came a month early and I have spent a month recovering I now find I am able to spend my spare time now devoted to finishing my stories. So here is the next chapter and I promise to try and keep up my posting schedule.
The drive home seemed to be done on autopilot as she hadn't even realised she was home until she pulled in to the well known garage, her eyes streaming with tears she was not aware she was crying and her body racking with now apparent sobs.
"oh why did I let him kiss me" Anna moaned as she looked at herself in the mirror, her lipstick smudged from the kiss, her eye make up running down her face making her look like a demented clown. She turned to the passenger seat where she had thrown her bag and started to pick up the small contents that had come out on the drive home. Her chest heaved in and out heavily as she tried to gather herself from sobbing and stop the ache in her chest
After one last look in the mirror she grabbed her bag and jacket and headed in to the kitchen where she hoped to avoid her sister and head straight up to her room where she wanted to cry herself to sleep and pretend to herself that non of the last hours events had happened.
As Anna pushed open the heavy back door she felt her tears start a new as the memories from their argument flooded over her yet again, his words running through her head like a broken record stuck on repeat. Before she could stop herself she started to sob and crumpled to the floor just inside the door not realising someone was in the room with her.
"Now kid I know am not the looker I once was but I didn't think it had gotten that bad" Kenickies deep voice spoke out from above her now heavy feeling head, her watery eyes drifting up to look at the tall T-bird
"oh Kenickie I didn't realise you where in" Anna smiled weakly as she tried to pull herself up of the floor and hide her tears by wiping her hands across her face smudging the already running make up further across her face
"evidently not, now you going to tell me why your home from school earlier then your meant to be and why your sat on the floor crying?" Kenickie smiled lightly as he put his hand out to the younger girl in the unspoken gesture of helping her from the floor
"oh I just erm.." Anna whimpered as she straightened her clothes and moved to walk around the taller man to avoid speaking about the events
"you just what?" Dark haired man pressed as he turned back to the island in the middle of the kitchen and picked up a spare cup and the teapot and started to pour out a cup of tea for the younger girl, nodding with his head towards one of the stools to impress that she should sit and speak to him
"honestly its nothing, I just need to forget about him and get some sleep and I will be fine" Anna rushed out in the hopes to stop her older brother in law from prying in to her troubles
"so its about a him then, what did nogerelli do now?" Kenickie smiled as he sat down and pushed the cup towards the younger girl who stood looking shocked with a slight blush creeping over her cheeks at his statement
"how do you know its got anything to do with him?" the raven haired beauty stammered as she tried to think of another story to cover what had happened to make her upset
"because you have been in love with him since you met him in shop and everyone knows it except the two of you so am guessing that the only reason I great girl like yourself would have reason to cry would be the idiot who is to blind to see that said girl loves him" Kenickie shrugged as he picked up his own mug of warm tea and started to drink it
"I don't know what your talking about but it has nothing to do with him" Anna moaned as she struggled to think of a story she could use
"oh yeah so what did happen then?" Kenickie smirked as he watched the young girl flounder a little trying to think of an explanation to tell him
"just some idiot boy in shop said something to me that's all" Anna frowned knowing even to herself that sounded like a lame excuse as to why she was so upset
"yeah and what idiot boy was this? And what did he say?" Kenickie smiled brightly knowing she didn't have details to back up her fake story
"look it doesn't matter am sure it wont happen again so just forget it" Anna snapped her emotions still raw from that afternoon
"sure ill forget about it and am sure Ash will when she hears you came home early just for some boy calling you names" Kenickie watched as Anna's face dropped at the mention of her fierce older sister
"well it was more than that but it really doesn't matter" Anna groaned knowing she wasn't going to convince him that it was nothing like she hoped to
"I thought so, so why don't you tell me what happened and I will tell Ashlyn that you got home at normal time" The older man smiled gently at the upset girl as she looked down in to her mug like it would hold the answers to what she should tell him
"well it all started when Michael asked me if I could help him with his bikes do you remember…." Anna continued to give the older man a blow my blow of what had happened that afternoon, how they had argued and how they had then turned physical with each other
"so instead of staying and finding out how he really felt about you, you ran away?" Kenickie asked as he watched a few more tears drift down her already stained face
"I suppose I did but its not like he really is interested in me because he has never shown any interest before and now I think it was just because I started to ignore him, he has always wanted what he cant have"
"Well maybe that's what you should do" Kenickie shrugged as he stood up and moved to place his cup in to the sink ready to be washed
"what?" Anna asked looking puzzled as she drained the end of her tea in one mouthful
"well you said he only wants what he cant have so why not become the one thing he really wants by making sure he knows that you are hard to get" Kenickie shrugged again as he turned back to the younger girl
"that doesn't make much sense Kenickie" Anna frowned as she stood up and moved to place her own cup in the sink
"well you said he didn't want you until you started ignoring him so why not make sure you really avoid him and then he will notice what he is missing and will know that actually he wanted you all along" Kenickie smiled brightly as he thought about how really her sister had played similar games with him the year before
"so if I avoid him but stay close enough so he always knows am avoiding him you think he will realise that he really wants to be with me?" Anna asked her face pulling in to a confused frown
"yeah I don't see why not I mean it cant hurt to try can it, you said yourself he only seemed to really want to be around you since you stopped trying to be around him so why not make sure he really wants to be around you" the tall dark haired T-bird grinned as he moved to head out of the room
"and you really think that will work" Anna shouted after the retreating figure headed down the hall way away from her
"I guess you will have to wait and see" Kenickie shouted back as he headed up the stairs to change out of his work uniform before Ashlyn came home
"Sorry am late" Anna called as she rushed in to the small junk yard to find Michael stood there waiting for her arrival
"oh don't worry about it, I was just looking over some of these while I waited for you to get here" Michael explained as he turned to look over the small girl as she appeared beside him, her raven hair pulled into a ponytail and her usual conservative yet pretty clothes replaced by a set of old gresey overalls
"have you met Mitch yet?" Anna asked as she looked at the row of motorcycle skeletons lined up in front of her and Michael
"yeah I handed him my money and he said just to let him know if I need anything and that a few of these had been his own bike once, he also told me where to find the best parts and which bikes would be best for me to start on" Michael smiled brightly as he bent down and started looking over a the practically empty frame of what was once a great looking motorcycle
"oh well they are really good for that, look I don't want to stay out to long tonight so why don't we just at least pick up everything we need for now and we can take them back to my garage and I will be able to help you start building the bike tomorrow" Anna suggested
"how would we get it all back to your garage tonight?" Michael looked down at the heavy parts confused as to how they would move them all
"am guessing that would be me" Kenickie smirked as the younger boy jumped at his sudden appearance behind the young pair
"I managed to get us a ride" Anna grinned brightly as she turned to start picking out parts for the newly reformed prep boys bike
"yeah I brought my truck so lets get these parts and head out am missing some quality time with my woman for this" Kenickie moaned as he also started looking around for the needed parts
"and she would kill you for calling her that which you know so I guess you better play nice or might just mention it to her when we get home" The dark haired girl smirked as she moved to pick up an exhaust that would fit the model that Michael had been looking at before
"you know sometimes I wonder which one am marrying you or her" Kenickie grumbled as he watched the small girl clamber around the junk piles for parts
"oh you love it so stop complaining and get to work" Anna giggled as she watched the older boy roll his eyes with a small smile as he turned to the younger English boy
"your lucky Mikey boy, Steph don't have any sisters just pain in the arse brothers" Kenickie laughed as the younger boys cheeks tinted a bright shade of red
"Michael" Anna called as she walked down the hall way behind the blonde haired boy, she couldn't help but notice that his style had some what improved in the last couple of weeks since they had been working on the bike together and not just his clothes but his hair had grown out some and now instead of his normal preppy parted hair he now sported a very nice teddy boy quiff,
"oh hey Anna" Michael smiled as he turned to the small dark haired girl who came running up behind him, her dark hair bouncing around her shoulders as she moved quickly through the other students
"how's your day so far?" Anna asked as she managed to fall in step with the taller boy, her eyes drifting across the hall to a familiar pair of eyes following their every movement
"oh its going fine and I was hoping to get in some more practice tonight" Michael smiled shyly as he looked down at the small girl again and then across the hall where he felt someone watching them and always there was the head of the T-birds stood watching her every movement as his own girlfriend draped herself all over him. He didn't understand why they didn't just admit how they felt about each other and get it over with because he knew she always found an excuse to be close to him so she could see him but she never seemed to speak to him anymore and he was always watching her even when his own girlfriend was making a point of trying to get his attention.
"well that might have to wait my nerdy friend as tonight I hear there is going to be a rumble at the bowl-a-rama and I will have you know I have set up events to make sure you are seen as her perfect cool rider like she wants so make sure you wear all the good leather we got you and tune up that bike before we go" Anna smiled with a wicked twinkle in her eye as she rushed to the doorway of her classroom
"what have you done?" Michael asked suddenly a little worried about his small friends new plans
"well lets just say I now owe someone a favour, one am not happy about owing but it will help you to look great so just do as I say and thank me later" Anna smirked as she waved goodbye to him and walked in to her own class while he carried on in to the one next door but not before he spotted an angry looking T-bird rushing in after Anna and the T-birds annoying blonde girlfriend rushing behind him to keep up with him.
"so explain to me again how you managed to get this set up exactly" the tanned older girl asked as she fixed her dark red lipstick in the mirror, her light brown hair pulled up in to a high pony at the top of her head and her flawless eye make up already checked before she turned back to her younger sister
"Ashlyn I have told you I simply asked Leo to be there at a certain time and I told him to make his gang turn up a little bit later and I will make sure that they think he is on his own and then when they go back out, Michael will save them and he will then look like Stephs dream man" Anna explained as she brushed down her white shirt and fiddled with the red belt that she had wrapped around her waist showing of her curvaceous body
"yeah but how do you know this is all going to work out I mean what if it goes wrong and someone gets hurt or something bad happens" Ashlyn frowned as she pulled on her dress noticing it felt tighter then it had a couple of days before, her bump starting to develop a little quicker then she hoped it would
"oh just trust me it will work out and besides you are there if anything goes wrong and we all know Leo would rather eat his own arm then fight with both of you" Anna smirked as she watched her sister pout angrily at her reflection as she turned herself around in front of the mirror looking at the small bump appearing under her dress
"well I suppose but you know what Kenickie is like these days am not allowed to sneeze on my own in case I hurt the baby" Ashlyn groaned as she gave in looking at herself in the mirror and moved towards the bed picking up her pink lady jacket to put on over her now tight fitting black dress
"you know you are going to have to eventually just stop wearing your normal clothes and buy some looser ones" Anna smirked as her sister turned to her with a glare and anger plain across her face, although Ashlyn was excited and happy about becoming a mum she was not happy about gaining weight and having to changer her whole wardrobe to accommodate her changing body.
"oh shut up and lets go and get this stupid plan of yours over with shall we" Ashlyn snapped as she grabbed her hand bag and stormed away from her younger sister towards the door
"where are you two off too?" Aaron shouted from the living room as the two girls walked past towards the kitchen
"the bowl-a-rama why?" Ashlyn shouted back as she headed through the kitchen and in to the garage
"what's wrong with her?" Aaron perked an eyebrow at his youngest sister as he reached the kitchen door way
"she just realised that some of her clothes don't fit her and she will have to buy new ones, clothes that probably wont be to her taste" Anna smirked as she watched her brothers eyes light up in amusement at Ashlyn's bad mood
"oh well if its whats good for the baby" Aaron tried hard not to giggle as he spoke his eyes turning to the back door as he heard footsteps heading back up the steps
"if you want to go lets bloody go because I am not sitting around all night" Ashlyn snapped before heading back down the steps with Anna rushing at her heels so as not to anger the pregnant woman more then she already had
"oh the next few months are going to be a joy" Aaron sighed as he headed back in to the living room shaking his head at his sisters antics.
"right so there's Leo what now?" Ashlyn asked as the two sisters sat in the car waiting for the next part of the plan to happen
"well I guess I better go in and tell the boys he is out here by himself and convince them to come out" Anna smiled as she started to get out of the car
"or we get someone else to tell them" Ashlyn grinned as she looked in the rear view mirror at their approaching friend
"what?" Anna asked as she looked behind the car in the wing mirror and spotted Delores heading towards them in a hurry on her skateboard
"Delores" Anna shouted as she jumped out the car and the young girl came to a stop suddenly in front of her
"oh hi Anna" Delores stated suddenly seeming nervous at being around the older girl
"I need you to do me a favour" Anna smiled brightly at the younger girl in the hopes to make her feel better, she could see what Davey liked about the young girl, she had spirit and was funny as well as pretty although not in the same way her sister was but Anna preferred that because although she was not conventionally good looking she had a better personality and she had some brains about her
"well what is it?" Delores frowned a little with concern as to what the pink lady wanted with her
"I need you to go in to the bowl-a-rama and let Johnny and all the T-birds know that Leo… I mean…. Balmudo is outside and he is alone, make sure they come out after him ok" Anna smiled brightly again as she watched the younger girl absorb the strange request, questions dancing around on her tanned face
"why would I want to do that it will just cause a fight"
"don't worry about it, just trust me this will benefit a friend of ours in the long run and you will thank me for it especially as it might end up helping me and you also" Anna sighed as she noticed the girl still looking at her sceptically even with her cryptic explanation being left there to hang in the wind for a few seconds before the young girl replied
"well who is it going to help and why would it help me I mean its not like the T-birds have much to do with me other then going out with my sister" Delores snapped a little her annoyance with not being counted as part of the gang plain to see for anyone listening
"I cant tell you now but if you meet me tomorrow during lunch I will tell you everything is that ok?" Anna spoke softly hoping that this would placate the younger girl knowing she didn't have any friends of her own maybe if she encouraged them to become friends the younger girl would do as she asked
"well I guess that's ok but I still don't see how this will do any good but if you say so" Delores smiled weakly and then turned and headed towards the front of the Bowl-a-rama where Balmudo was waiting as Anna had asked him
"alright now the show begins" Anna grinned widely at her older sister as she turned to look at the entrance of the car park where Michael was waiting hidden for the next events to start
"lets just hope this works" Ashlyn frowned
"Ashlyn am going I will see you tonight" Anna shouted as she ran through the front door towards her friends pink car, her eyes tired from the late night the night before and then being up early due to her sisters excessive morning sickness, she wouldn't be surprised if she looked a much of a mess as she felt, she liked her sleep unlike her sister and she didn't function well with out it
"good morning Anna" Frenchy smiled as she waved to her old school friend stood at the front door as the younger of the two siblings climbed in to her car
"morning French" Anna grinned as she turned and waved at her sister as they started to pull away from the house
"so is the sickness bad at the minute huh?" Frenchy asked as she recalled Ashlyn's pale looking image stood at the door way, her eyes sunk in, her curves looking a little less curvy, her hair lying flat against her face, and her face void of make up
"yeah she really is suffering with it at the moment its like everything she eats stays down long enough for her to think she isn't going to be sick only for it to catch her off guard a moment later" Anna frowned as she worried about her sister who had only managed to keep a bit of water and toast down yesterday
"well hopefully she will be able to make it through the wedding" Frenchy smiled weakly as she imagined her friend stood at the front of the church smiling and looking as beautiful as all brides should do on their special day only to turn and be sick in the christening font
"yeah lets hope so" Anna smiled brightly but Frenchy could see her straining to keep it plastered on her face like she did when she was nervous
"are you ok other then that you seem a little I don't know antsy" Frenchy giggled as she looked over at the younger girl who seemed to be fidgeting with her hands and was moving around so much Frenchy was surprised she was managing to stay in the front seat of the car without trying to get out of the window or in to the back seat just to keep herself moving
"oh am just a little worried about something that happened last night" Anna explained as her brain ran through the events of last night, although everything seemed to run smoothly and it all seemed to work she was worried as to wether it would be a waste of time and Steph still wouldn't like Michael even in his disguise or if the scorpions ended up going after him or worse what would Leo want as his favour for last night
"well what happened and I might be able to help" Frenchy smiled brightly as she turned the car in to the parking lot and carried on in to her normal parking space
"well I had this plan that I would help Michael become Stephanies perfect man and although I think it may have worked I just cant help having this feeling of dread like something is bound to go wrong" Anna frowned as she grabbed her bag and moved to get out of the car after they had stopped
"what did this plan entail exactly" Frenchy asked as she moved around the front of the car and pulled herself up to sit on the bonnet and motioned for the younger girl to join her
"well it was like this…" Anna sighed as she explained to Frenchy the events of the bowling alley the night before and how Michael had managed to pop Balmudo and impress the girls but how they didn't seem to know who he was
"so whats wrong with that he just needs to tell her now who he is and she can have the best of both worlds" Frenchy smiled brightly as she looked around the car park as other cars started to arrive and other students started walking past them
"I don't know I just keep feeling that something bad is going to happen but maybe that just my pre wedding jitters… do maids of honour get them?" Anna giggled as she shifted herself off the front of the car and stood straightening her yellow sun dress as Frenchy followed her off the car
"I guess they might" Frenchy laughed as the two girls headed towards the school their minds wandering to the up coming nuptials.
sorry my dear readers again for taking so long to post and now that I have I know its not my best work in the world but I hope to be back to par for the next installment, sorry again
