A/N-Okay, yes, I know that the chapter is like a friends episode but like it originally started off without 'the one' but then i decided that it was a fitting tribute to Chandler as well.

Aaand nextt, you guys gonna get a quite a surprise in this chapter because I personally think it was quite unexpected. Don't look at the end notes before reading the chapter bcs...kind of spoilers

Honestly, now I understand how Rick felt after leaving everybody on a cliffhanger in MoA...

"What time are you leaving?" Amphitrite asked Percy as the younger god ran into the quarters to get ready.

"In like 15 minutes." Came the reply. Amphitrite went and blocked Percy's entrance to his room to ask him questions and Percy pouted at her.

"Come on now, Amphi. Let the poor kid get ready." Poseidon chuckled from behind.

"Not until I know till when he'll be back." Amphitrite chided her husband and focused on Percy who squirmed.

"Uhhh…late?" he said sheepishly.

"Good enough." Amphitrite shrugged.

"Yeah, we're going to be back late as well." Poseidon nodded.

"Ah! A date?" Percy grinned and the king of the seas nodded as he and Amphitrite got ready to leave.

"Cool, well, I'm going to get ready." Percy said and went into his room. He opened his wardrobe and after 5 whole minutes, he pulled out a tshirt with an aesthetic print of the setting sun at a beach and put on some ripped black jeans. He obviously couldn't forget a ring so he put on a plain black one. As for shoes, he put on some plain white ones with black stripes. This whole process took him 15 minutes and Thalia had called him like 3 times already. Jeez, why did it take soo long. He quickly brushed his hair, put perfume and raced out of his room.

Percy then thought of grabbing a hoodie seeing as it looked like it was going to get chilly outside but then the poor kid realized that Annabeth had stolen his only hoodie and so he called up Nico.

"Hey, could you keep a hoodie for me? Dad just left so I can't ask him and I don't have any." He explained.

"Sure." Nico's voice came from the other side of the phone. Percy then ran to the garage to get his car. Luckily, Hephaestus had customized it to seat as many people as needed and yet made it look the same from outside. Percy put on some loud music and raced over to the Hades quarters and rang the bell. Nico opened it and raised an eyebrow at his cousin.

"That was early for you, kelp head." He said.

"I hate you." Percy grumbled. Nico chuckled and held up a black hoodie that definitely was not his.

"Okay, you're not tall enough to wear this size. This one's my exact size." Percy remarked.

"Oh shut up." Nico groaned.

"Its mine!" came Hades' voice as he came to the door, making Percy laugh and Nico pout.

"What kind of perfume do you use? Its literally overpowering mine and I just put it-" Percy said, sounding half impressed and half put out. Hades chuckled.

"It's the permanent kind. Always stays on." He said.

"Dam…Well I'll hopefully get the hoodie back to you." Percy grinned. This time Hades laughed.

"Don't worry about it. My whole wardrobe is black hoodies." He said. Then Percy smirked.

"Then I'll just keep it." He said. Hades shrugged.

"Sure. Keep it." He said.

"Wait seriously?" Percy's eyes widened. Hades nodded.

"Lucky kid." Nico pouted.

"You can keep a hoodie too but I don't think it'd fit you." Hades smirked at his son but gave a small smile to let him know that he was joking. Nico flourished a dramatic hand to his chest.

"Oh, come on. Lets goo" Percy said with a laugh. Nico nodded "Don't wait up, honey." Nico smirked at Hades who snorted in amusement. Percy and Nico went to Percy's car and the son of Hades climbed into the passenger seat.

"Thalia can sit back." He grinned. Percy snorted in amusement and raced over to the Zeus quarters. They honked like 5 times before they groaned and rang the bell about a 100 times. Zeus opened the door and merely raised an eyebrow at his nephews who gave him sheepish smiles. The king of the skies gave a small smile which he tried to hide but couldn't and allowed the two boys to run inside.

"And I'm the beauty queen?" Percy threw his hands up as he complained.

"Yes." Came the reply and Percy stamped his foot like an annoyed little kid.

"Nice hoodie." Jason grinned as he saw his cousin. Percy clicked his tongue and winked at him.

"Thanks bro." he said.

"Your welcome bro." Jason grinned and the two high fived. Nico shook his head and buried his face in his hands but he had a small smile on his face.

"I'm guessing its not yours?" came Zeus' voice. Percy turned to look at his uncle and shook his head.

"Uncle H's." he said. Zeus chuckled lightly.

"Already getting gifts, huh?" he said. Percy shrugged with a grin.

"What can I say, I'm so charming." He said with a dramatic hair flip, causing Nico to smack him lightly on the shoulder.

"Hurry up, Pikachu." Nico grumbled.

"Both of you need to shut up." Thalia said as she came out and hit her brothers upside their head, making them both groan dramatically.

"Lets go." She said as she looked at them fondly. Percy and Nico whooped and the three of them went outside. Nico ran and took the passenger seat, making Thalia glare at him. The son of Hades smirked at his cousin.

Percy opened the sunroof, increased the volume of the music and sped, making all three of them whoop and cheer. It took them about 10 minutes to reach 'The Element.' The three of them went inside and sat right next to the bar. The good thing about the club was that there was partying and yet people could sit and catch up and just talk.

All three of them decided to just start off with soft drinks rather than just directly hit the alcohol because they wanted a sugar rush before that.

"So, Thals, how's it going with Hera?" Nico started and Thalia groaned.

"Should've just hit the vodka." She complained. Percy chuckled.

"That bad?" he said.

"You know how bad." Thalia sighed.

"Jason looks like he's trying." Nico commented. Thalia nodded.

"He is. He's trying to understand his patron better but at the same time trying to figure out what's up with her and dad." She explained. Percy kept quiet, knowing exactly what was up.

"I don't understand how it got so chaotic so fast. I think there's something going on with her. The problem is that nobody except Zeus or Rhea can even talk to her." Nico said grimly.

"I think Aunt Hestia might be able to." Percy remarked.

"You know, I think Hera and our dads used to be pretty close in the olden days." Nico told Percy who raised his eyebrows.

"Kind of hard to believe." He said.

"Sometimes the ones we love the most hurt us the worst." Nico sighed.

"Philosophical much?" Thalia said with a small smile.

"No, he's right." Percy nodded, as he thought of his father and his uncles, more specifically the god whose hoodie he had just taken.

"This is different though. I wonder what went wrong if what you're saying is correct." Thalia sighed.

"I think a lot of stuff changed after Uncle H got banished. Its hard to stay united after they basically removed their own brother from Olympus." Percy said sadly. Nico's eyes darkened but he nodded and then hung his head.

"You think its going to be okay? Between all of them?" he asked painfully, remembering all the times Hades had been impacted by Hera's words and being betrayed by his family.

"It has to." Percy said with such confidence and determination that the other two believed it.

"And now can we talk about how Nico literally called Persephone 'mother'?" Thalia raised an eyebrow at her brother. Nico scowled.

"I did not." He said.

"Oh, you so did." Percy said with a smile. Nico then sighed and ran a hand through his tied hair. "I need a haircut." He muttered.

"Look, its just that I feel I'm moving on. She's not treated me less than her own child and I think the majority of the issue that she had with me at the beginning was that I was kept hidden and my dad wasn't upfront with her about me and Bianca. Persephone's not one who has a problem with one or two affairs because dad always goes back to her and he rarely if ever cheats on her. And now…especially during the reading, she's protecting me like her child and it feels like the four of us are family, you know?" Nico said, swallowing thickly, looking at his cousins. Percy nodded in agreement and understanding. He had the look of somebody who knew exactly how Nico felt.

"I understand but I don't know from personal experience." Thalia said carefully. Percy gave her a sympathetic look but Thalia shook her head and gestured to Nico to continue.

"Yeah, so, its just like I saw her eyes brighten when I almost called her 'mother'. I guess I paused because I realized that she actually did feel like one to me now and the thing is that I felt like her son." Nico said, his voice quieting with every word until Percy and Thalia had to lean in to hear what he was saying but even that was a little problematic due to the music in the background.

"You should tell her this, Nick. Everybody saw Persephone's face brighten in that one moment. There's no doubt that she considers you her son and I think that if you consider her a mother then it would fill her with joy to know that." Percy suggested. Nico nodded.

"Yeah." Is all he said.

"Well…DRINKS!" Thalia shouted and Percy and Nico smiled.

"You already getting the sugar rush, Pinecone face?" Percy teased.

"Oh, I'll show you sugar rush, Kelp Head." Thalia snorted.

"Yep. She's in sugar rush mode." Nico grinned.

"High on energy drinks and Coca-Cola. Wow." Percy laughed.

"Well, to be fair, she had like 3 Gatorades already." Nico chuckled.

"You know I can hear you guys, right?" Thalia scowled, making Percy and Nico burst out laughing. They then further proceeded to bully Thalia, making the daughter of Zeus smack them both on their shoulders. They were just about to order Tequila shots when Percy's phone started ringing and made the young god jump as it was on vibrate as well. Nico will always talk about that one incident when Blue Gatorade came rushing out of Thalia's nose because of Percy's jumps scare and Thalia will always talk about that flood of Gatorade hitting Nico square in the chest, making the son of Hades scream like a pre-pubescent boy.

Percy immediately picked up the phone as it was from Jason and the son of Jupiter would never have called when he knew that the three of them were out unless it was extremely urgent. The other two went quiet as well once they realized that it was Jason's phone and proceeded to get extremely worried once they saw a frown slowly deepen on Percy's face and strained their ears to hear Jason. They then freaked out as they heard the hysteria in Jason's voice.

"Okay, Jase, relax. I'm sure its not too bad." Percy tried calming down the son of Jupiter but even Nico and Thalia could tell that Percy didn't believe it. "We'll be there. Just take a deep breath. Tell the others to calm down as well." Percy said.

"They're not listening, Perce. You need to come. You're the only one they'll listen to. Even Annabeth's freaking out. Rachel's missing as well. She was with Apollo" Jason's rushed voice came from the other end. And that's when all three of them froze. If both Jason and Annabeth were freaking out and Apollo took Rachel with him, then something major was up. Percy immediately hung up. One look from Percy and even Nico and Thalia were out of their seats.

"What happened?" Thalia shouted to be heard over the music as they tried to get Percy to tell them the whole thing seeing as they heard only the last bit.

"The Olympians called for an emergency meeting and all the gods were rushing like doomsday was here or something. Apollo was carrying Rachel as if she passed out and that only happens when she gives a prophecy." Percy said, grimly, his face completely stoic as he all but ran to the parking and then he did run with Nico and Thalia at his heels.

"Shit." Nico swore once he heard what Percy said.

"Maybe its not a prophecy. Maybe she just got sick all of a sudden." Thalia said.

"Knowing our luck, it's a prophecy." Percy said calmly. Nico and Thalia looked at each other and then at Percy. Oh, this was not a good sign. Percy was too calm and that meant one of two things. Either, he was extremely dangerously angry or he was freaking out but wasn't showing it. It felt like it took them a century to reach the council hall even when they were going full speed in one of the fastest cars in the world which was made even faster by the god of fire.

It was even more annoying when they found out that they had to wait because the gods were still in council. Annabeth and Jason were indeed freaking out and so were the others. Most of them had been relaxing with their parents when Apollo had suddenly appeared at their doors with the most panicked expression that nobody had seen on the god's face. The Apollo kids were frozen in their place and Nico went to Will with Thalia and Percy close by.

"What happened, sunshine?" Nico asked softly.

"Rachel had a prophecy. I've never see dad so worried." Will answered, his voice breaking. Nico pulled his boyfriend into a hug and Thalia and Percy left and went to Tyson.

"Hey, Ty, where are Triton and Amphitrite?" Percy asked the big guy who was nervously chewing his fingernails.

"Atlantis. To take care of the city." Came the reply. Percy's blood went cold. This was worse than they had been thinking.

"Daddy looked so worried, Percy. Even Uncle Hades." Tyson said, the big guy on the verge of tears. The mention of his dad's name caught Nico's attention and the son of Hades joined the trio.

"Dad looked worried?" Nico asked. Tyson nodded.

"Even Hermes and Apollo. They all ran so fast it was like they were flying. Dad drove his car so fast that they got here in seconds." Tyson told them.

"What's going to happen, Perce?" Castor came up to them. He was one of the only ones who was looking composed but it was clear that even he was beyond worried and he needed some reassurance but this was a situation in which even Percy could give none and he knew that more than reassurance, everybody wanted the truth.

"Nothing good." He said.

Just then, a huge lightning bolt shone in the sky which was followed by an earthquake and all Percy could do was make sure that the area they were all standing in was not affected. Percy, Nico and Thalia frowned at each other. This meant that they fathers were arguing which probably meant that they were involved.

It felt like ages that they waited outside without anybody saying a word but all of them standing in groups. They had been through 3 wars and now another prophecy just when they thought that they had the peace and the fact that they were not called for a meeting just meant that it was about all of them again.

When the gods finally came out with the most troubled and pained expressions on their faces, even Hera, they froze when they saw the younger gods waiting outside, leaning against the cars or standing as still as stones.

"What happened?" Percy asked, his voice ringing even in an open space.

"Another prophecy." Apollo replied grimly. Though the younger gods knew this, a few of them stumbled forward but still stood up and rolled their shoulders, their faces morphing into poker faces.

"What is it?" Nico demanded.

"Nico-" Hades started.

"They have to know, brother." Zeus said but even the king of gods did not look happy about it and maybe that's what stopped Poseidon and Hades from yelling at their younger brother again. Apollo placed his hand on Rachel's shoulder and politely asked the oracle to step forward. He conjured her a stool to sit on. Everybody waited anxiously for Rachel to speak in the words of the oracle.

The heroes of the first war

With the mightiest heroes of far

Shall fight the defeated past

He who shall rise stronger than the last

This time, a few of them did have to lean against the cars for support. Dionysus looked extremely worried for Pollux who looked like he was going to pass out.

Percy was again the first one to speak because this time everybody was looking at him, reminding the Olympians just who the leader of the campers was. "The titan of time." He said, not taking Kronos' name, trying to keep his voice steady for everybody else but he wanted to sit down and sob like a little kid.

"No." Silena said, her voice a soft whisper but still filled with pain. Clarisse went and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"This can't-can't be happening again." Travis muttered and screamed. This was the first time that anybody had seen the son of Hermes in such anguish and Hermes froze in his place as he heard the sound.

"Not him. Anybody but him." Chris muttered as he shook his head.

"How's this happening again?!" Beckendorf shouted in frustration and threw a huge screwdriver with such force that it was invisible after a few seconds.

The thing that hit the Olympians the hardest was the fact that the calmest ones were losing control while the ones who they expected to get angry just seemed like they had resigned to their fate. Poseidon looked at his son and somewhere he expected to see hurt or anger or pain etched on his son's face but he saw nothing. Percy's face was colder than ice and that was something that terrified him because he understood that look perfectly well. Poseidon knew that Percy wanted to go and scream his lungs out but he couldn't because everybody was looking at him.

Hades looked at Nico and saw violence. He saw pain and yet, somewhere he saw the glimpse of a broken little boy who had seen way too much. It broke his heart in such a way that he wasn't sure if it could be fixed again to send his son off to war again. Ever since his son had been through Tartarus, all Hades wanted to do was make sure that Nico could be happy and now he no longer had that power in his hands.

Hermes looked at Chris, Connor and Travis and it felt as if his heart stopped beating and stilled in his chest. The last time these three had faced Kronos, one of them had been driven insane and all of them had lost their brother. Living that horror once was enough but twice? None of them deserved that pain.

"Guys." Percy's voice dragged them all out of their thoughts. Everybody turned to look at the son of Poseidon who took a deep breath.

"We fought him once. We'll fight him again. I know this sucks. This sucks so much. But this time it sounds like we have more allies and this time Romans and Greeks are fighting together. We all know that this life…it was never going to be easy for us and somewhere deep inside, we all knew that there was going to be another prophecy and somehow we'd be dragged into it but this time I say, let them give us hell, we'll show them that we're born from it." Percy said, his voice getting stronger, more powerful and louder by the end and as he delivered the final line, it was pure ice.

The Olympians looked at him in surprise and they couldn't help but admire the younger gods when they all screamed and yelled their approval, letting go of all pain into that frustration and willingness to fight. It was insane how Percy could get them all to listen without declaring himself the leader or raising his voice. He had to speak and they would listen.

"Lets try figuring out as much as we can about the prophecy." Percy said further and everybody nodded. "Anybody got any ideas or questions?" he asked.

"Yeah, what do they mean by the heroes of the first war?" Leo drawled.

"Only the heroes who were involved in the first war will be involved in the final fight but it doesn't mean that all those who fought in the second war won't. I believe that when they said that heroes of the first war, it means that the prophecy revolves around them which I believe are the Greek big three children." Apollo said grimly and the big three kids clenched their jaws and so did their parents. "But even the others will have to fight. Its similar to the first prophecy we had. A halfblood of the eldest gods-" he continued.

"Shall reach sixteen against all odds/ And see the world in endless sleep/ Hero's soul cursed blade shall reap/ A single choice shall end his days/ Olympus to preserve or raze"." Percy rapped. Apollo nodded, sympathy on his face. Of course, Percy never forgot that prophecy. He absolutely hated seeing a young child go through so much. Though, people have thought of him as arrogant, they tend to see past the fact that he and Artemis are the protector of the young.

"Yeah, so its similar in the way that it revolved around Percy but others fought as well." Apollo explained.

"I have a question." Chris said. Everybody looked at him.

"What. The. Actual. Fuck do they mean by 'stronger than the last'?" he said

"I'm assuming it to mean that he's going to be stronger than the last time that he rose." Artemis answered.

"Well, that's just brilliant." Chris deadpanned.

Everybody then turned to look at Percy's raised hand. The son of Poseidon still had a brave face on but the ones who truly knew him, knew he was hurting bad. Grover looked at his best friend with pain in his eyes, knowing and feeling all of Percy's emotions and it broke his heart to know that his best friend was under so much pressure that it felt like was carrying the weight of the sky all over again.

"What do they mean by the 'mightiest mortals' because we haven't heard of them and nor have we seen them?" Percy asked. The Olympians looked at each other nervously but it was finally Poseidon who spoke up.

"There's a group of heroes who protect mortals against invasions and other threats from the rest of the universe." He said finally.

"How come they weren't there during the wars?" Thalia asked.

"They were during the second one but just like the Romans during the first war, even they and their actions were hidden by the mist. Even Rachel doesn't know them even if she was human." Demeter answered.

"It's a team, you say?" Nico asked. Hades nodded.

"Do they have a name?" Connor asked hesitantly. Zeus was the one who then looked at him and finally replied.

"The Avengers."

A/N-*drum roll*

Okay, its been ages since an end note if I'm not wrong-

Anywayss, here we go

Quite honestly, this whole series did not start off with the idea to introduce these guys. It just hit me recently so there wasn't much of a build up and that was perfect for the situation according to me and of course, I was still figuring out how to introduce these guys for a buildup to a new story till like yesterday-

:P

Also, I literally cannot control my excitement to write this story so I most probably will be writing them simultaneously. And updates might be relatively slow for any story because I've got some really important exams coming up and there's hell lotta syllabus and obviously, I have not started yet-
