PIPER DIDN'T WANT TO USE…he might've been dead.
Zeus and Hera turned as pale as ghosts and sudden waves of nausea hit them and they swallowed thickly. Hera rubbed her head as a shooting pain ran around her skull and Zeus buried his head in his hands. He'd had Athena burst out from his skull and now he was feeling the pain of a brick in his head. Gods, his skull couldn't catch a break.
"Been there, done that." Jason grinned. The demigods snorted and Thalia punched Jason lightly on the arm and Piper shook her head.
"That is not funny!" she chided.
"Isn't it though?" Jason said.
"No!" Piper said in exasperation.
"Eh. You're right. Its hilarious." Jason shrugged. Piper groaned.
"Don't even try." Thalia told her.
She remembered the awful…her from the Romans.
"Ouch." Hera muttered as Zeus nodded in agreement. Both of them groaned in pain as they felt as if a brick hit them again. Jason might have got hit by the brick only once till now but because of the curse fading in and out, to them it was if it was raining bricks. And rain was Zeus' domain so he was increasingly unhappy about that and worried about Jason at the same time but his son seemed sane at the moment.
"I'm telling you, I have the most idiotic brothers in the whole world. These absolute self-sacrificing bitches are going to be the end of me some day." Thalia told Piper who chuckled lightly.
"Its not that bad!" Jason defended
"You got impaled." Thalia told him dryly "This idiot went and gambled his life with Gaia." She said, gesturing to Percy. "This other idiot went through Tartarus alone." She said, gesturing to Nico. "I rest my case." Thalia said
"We love you too, Thals." Percy grinned at Thalia.
"Flattering." She told him but had a small smile.
Even with the nectar and ambrosia…his memories of her?
"Okay! That was once!" Jason said. "And it wasn't even my fault!" he complained.
"Yeah, I swear. I mean, you lose your memories once and everybody thinks you gonna lose it again." Percy added.
"Exactly, bro! Like, we didn't even know we had amnesia." Jason said exasperatedly.
"I get you, bro. I get you." Percy said and Jason and Percy kept their hands on each other's shoulders and then hugged each other as they dramatically sobbed into each other's shoulders. Their friends burst out laughing and even a couple of the gods were chuckling.
"Ah, such a budding bromance! When's the wedding, you guys?" Hermes grinned at Jason and Percy.
"Dude, we're already married!" Percy told him.
"Yep. We got married after the war." Jason added on.
"Straight but homiesexual." Apollo grinned at Jason and Percy both of whom snorted.
"Never thought of it that way but its perfect." They snickered.
That would be the cruelest trick…played some pretty cruel tricks.
The gods grimaced.
She heard Gleeson Hedge…old goat Piper had ever met.
Clarisse grinned wickedly.
"He's brilliant. Taught me how to scream like I was crazy." Clarisse said.
"Like you were crazy? Huh, I thought that came naturally." Percy told Clarisse with a smirk and received a cushion squarely in the nose.
"Shut up, prissy or I'm gonna make you." Clarisse told him playfully and Percy grinned.
"Nah, you love me too much." He teased. Another cushion came flying towards him but this time Percy caught it.
"You missed." He said in a sing song voice.
"I won't next time." Clarisse grinned, holding up two cushions. The elder Greeks watched the scene with a certain fondness. Overtime they'd grown into being quite protective of each other. Only they could call each other certain names and nobody else was allowed to unless they wanted to get beaten up by the other.
Of course she was grateful…encouraged Coach to look out for her.
Aphrodite smiled at Piper as she read the text.
"That potion only erased the trauma, my dear. It wouldn't erase every single thing. Like, it will erase everything he saw and that monsters and gods actually did exist but somewhere what he learnt would have impacted him enough to know that there were other forces at work but not enough that it would drive him insane." She explained. Piper stared at Aphrodite. She did not know that but it wasn't a surprise. She'd begun to suspect it once they went to talk to her dad after becoming gods but she still had concerns.
"But how? He was always worried about even the bare knowledge of greater forces." Piper said
"Piper, your father always suspected something. When I met him, I could feel that aura generating off him and his mind as well. Now, that could have been an after effect of the potion but from what we've read, he often talked about the stories told to him and the way he talked…well, it give the vibe that he always suspected it. I think he was more afraid of the fact that it was true than he was of the knowledge itself. The more disturbing thing was that when the giants kidnapped Mr. McLean, they cleared his eyesight to a limit that he understood what he was seeing and well, the torture made it worse-" Pollux grimaced as he said this but continued.
"That was what drove him to the brink of insanity because the way he was introduced to our world was through horrible means. The potion that Aphrodite gave you didn't exactly wipe everything he'd been through. Only dad would be able to do something like that but it did bring him to a position where the trauma and the memories of his torture would be wiped out but he'd still remember that something happened in the sense that he would feel more strongly about any greater forces. The potion would also strengthen his mind to absorb any information about our world later on but slowly." Pollux explained. Dionysus looked at Pollux with pride in his eyes.
"Huh. That's crazy." Piper said finally and the Dionysus kids and Aphrodite chuckled.
"That's one way to put it." Castor said with a smile.
She shouldn't draw her blade…name meant "looking glass."
"Excess of knowledge about the future isn't always good. In fact, most of times its rather harmful that helpful. That's one of the reasons that your weapon is so dangerous. Yes, its knife so obviously its dangerous but one of the main concern is that its just as dangerous to the wielder as its to their enemies if not more." Apollo told Piper.
"But, its not that much harm can come out of me seeing the nearby future. Like, won't we just be more prepared to face whatever it is that comes our way?" Piper asked.
"What if it shows somebody's death? Or something else that is just as terrible if not more?" Dionysus asked the daughter of Aphrodite. Piper looked like she was thinking about the answer and finally answered.
"We'd be prepared." She said finally.
"No, you wouldn't." Dionysus shook his head. "I'll tell you what happens. Once you see that person's death or whatever other painful things that are going to come your way, that's all you're going to be thinking of. That's the case with everybody. Demigods, gods, satyrs, mortals, anybody. Then you're going to spend every waking moment thinking about how to avoid it, doing crazy things and eventually you're going to end up in the same position and the minute that scenario takes place…well, there's nothing more painful than that. Seeing as you would have spent your entire time trying to figure out solutions, you would never consider the most likely possibility which is that the event actually does happen and say its somebody's death then you wouldn't even be prepared to say goodbye. Then you blame yourself and tha will eventually cause your mind to snap."
Piper looked horrified at that as did some others in the room. Some looked pained, knowing that what the god said was true.
"That's scary." Travis said, voicing out everybody's concerns. Dionysus stared at the son of Hermes, his eyes empty.
"Who said madness was easy? There are fates worse than death. This is one of them." He answered and Travis grimaced as he nodded. Chris nodded in agreement and closed his eyes, wishing to forget what had happened to him. Dionysus, on the other hand, knew the hard truth behind what he said because he knew exactly why it was worse than death. He'd seen enough of uncle and aunt's insanity to know.
"Honestly, Mr.D…I never really got to thank you properly. You saved me and I'm never going to forget that. I'd much rather have had a sword through my chest than go insane. I didn't even know that I had gone insane. I didn't know who I was or who anybody was for that matter. In all sense, I'd basically died and gone to the fields of punishment. You gave me a second chance at life…a second chance to be happy despite the fact that I had defected. I could never be grateful enough." Chris told Dionysus, squeezing Clarisse's hand.
Dionysus couldn't help but give a smile to the son of his brother. He didn't know many who came back from the state of mind that Chris was in because despite being the god of insanity, he couldn't always help those who'd been driven insane. The one thing that he never forgave himself for out of many was that he wasn't able to help his aunt and uncle. He regretted that he wasn't able to recognize his powers earlier. Ever since he had, he'd vowed to himself that if he could then he wouldn't let any innocent suffer from that madness. Chris had been innocent even though he had defected. Over the course of the reading, over the course of being camp director and seeing young heroes leave one day and never come back, he'd understood well enough why Chris would have defected and that didn't make him cruel. It only made him a victim.
Hermes gave Dionysus a grateful look, letting him know that he would never stop being grateful to his brother for what he did for his son. Hermes knew that not many gods would have done what Dio had done for Chris. Most of them would have only thought about the fact that Chris had defected and would have absolutely refused to help him, thinking that he deserved it. Hermes knew that most people never really saw the side of Dionysus that he, Apollo, Ares and Artemis had seen. They'd known Dio at a time when he had actually been happy but then all that had gone to hell but they knew that no matter what, Dionysus actually cared deeply and he just refused to show it.
"He didn't do it for you. He did it so that he could tell himself that it wasn't his fault that he wasn't able to save his aunt and uncle. He did it because he was exiled to camp." Hera scoffed. Everybody's eyes snapped to her and that's when she knew that she screwed up. The elder Greeks of Camp Half Blood shot up to their feet and glared at her with such fury that she forgot that they weren't gods anymore. Dionysus' smile fell off his face and even Chiron who generally remained calm looked angry. Hermes, Apollo, Ares and Artemis all but snarled at Hera.
"Watch it." Percy growled. None of the Olympians had heard Percy sound so vicious before. Yes, they'd seen him look murderous and that had been terrifying but one thing that they knew about Percy and Poseidon was that the minute they lost the cool in their voice, everything would go to absolute hell.
Nico had already been surrounded by shadows as he had pulled out his stygian iron sword. Nico wasn't going to lie to himself or to anybody else about the fact that he was actually close to Mr.D. The god had helped him with his nightmares and daily visions that had plagued him after his visit to Tartarus.
Castor and Pollux's eyes were glowing a bright purple as Hera let out a light shout as a painful migraine found its way into her head. Hermes and Ares were looking positively murderous. The former joined his mission with Chris as they both gagged Hera in the sense that she couldn't speak but not literally with a cloth. The archer twins on the other hand didn't show their fury on their faces but it was clearly obvious as Hera winced in pain as her ears started buzzing due to messing of the acoustics by Apollo and his kids.
The rest of the gods had not seen the entire group of the elder Greeks look so ferocious. The new Greeks and Romans except Dakota were just as surprised and they were all getting a much better understanding as to why this particular group of demigods had such a lethal reputation in their world. Despite everything, none of the Olympians were stepping in to stop what was happening.
When Hera looked at Jason, the demigod just shrugged. Though Jason wasn't part of the gang that were all but spitting venom, he definitely was not going to support Dionysus being insulted like that. He may want to resolve things with Hera but he was not going to hurt Mr.D in order to do that. He hadn't reached that level of desperation and never would.
Hera then looked at Zeus and was surprised and honestly, scared, to see her husband glaring at her with anger that she had not seen since they had renewed their vows. This kind of anger only showed in her husband's eyes when he was seriously controlling himself from doling out some sort of punishment. There was a reason why he was god of justice because when he was fair, he never held back no matter who it was at the receiving end.
"He saved me. He gave me a second chance when nobody else would have. He thought me worth saving and that's something that gave me enough motivation to continue living no matter what. I had defected, for fuck's sake. Nobody gives a traitor a second chance if all they care about is themselves. So excuse my insolence my lady, but I happen to trust Mr.D." Chris spat.
"Also, I think you need to recheck your sources because you were the one who drove his uncle and aunt insane even though they were innocent and that was totally for yourself. It was petty. They did not sleep with your husband. They simply protected an innocent child whose existence you had a problem with even though he didn't ask to be born." Dakota growled at Hera.
"You know, Mr. D may be the god of madness but you're the one who's insane." Percy growled.
"You know, I don't know why you hate yourself so much or hate others so much and quite frankly, I don't care but don't even try to insult one of us." Will said sweetly but all the while, baring his teeth. Nico was so proud of his boyfriend.
Hera nodded with wide eyes and refused to look at Zeus, in the fear of what she would see in his eyes. In the fear of what she would see in the face of the man she had continuously blamed for all her problems but he had only wanted to let her know that he loved her and sought forgiveness for what had happened in the past.
Zeus on the other hand was trying his best to not show his anger on his face but he knew that his attempt wasn't very successful as he saw Hera's eyes widen. He pinched the bridge of his nose as he sighed. Seeing as he wasn't able to keep his anger out of his eyes he figured he might as well not show it, just as he'd been doing with rest of his emotions for years. Though he didn't want to get angry at Hera, he was feeling increasingly protective of his kids and he wasn't going to take it lightly if anybody was going to insult Dionysus that way.
Grover was also glaring at Hera and was trying to keep the panic that Pan gave him under control. He owed Mr.D for jumping in when the time was right and saving his dream and future by believing him. By believing in him. Mr.D had lost his son and yet he defended Grover and now it was Grover's time to do the same.
"Honestly, his punishment was much worse than just being banned from wine, you know? And maybe if you cared, you'd understand. Maybe you care about Jason, I don't what goes on in that head of yours but you definitely don't understand the depth of Mr.D's punishment and why it's such a big thing. I'd explain it to you but even I don't have the patience to try and make you understand emotions." Percy said darkly.
Dionysus looked at the demigods and his siblings with wide eyes, definitely not expecting this to happen. It hadn't happened in ages, why should it happen today? He wasn't going to deny that he felt gratitude swell up in his throat as he swallowed thickly. He saw the way the blessing of Ares had surrounded Clarisse, showing that her father was just as angry. He looked at Hermes, Apollo and Artemis and he thought about all the fun times they'd had in the past. He hadn't known then but those were the few times that he'd actually been happy. Maybe, they could get that back. Then he looked at the elder Greek campers…the ones he had known the longest and Chiron. They were probably the last people that he'd expected to stand up for him after he'd made it seem like he hated them. Then he heard what Chris said followed by what Will said. One of us. That would stay with him forever. And then he listened to what Percy said. That was something that further added onto his surprise. The demigods were possibly the last ones he'd expected to understand how painful his punishment was at a deeper level.
Poseidon and Hades were also glaring at their sister as was Demeter. Poseidon and Hades had always been close to Dionysus before. They'd always love partying together, yes but they'd also actually been good friends because they were some of the people who'd understood that there were two sides to Dionysus as well just as there were two sides to them as well. Demeter on the other hand had used to see the god of wine as her own son if anything and even if they weren't as close now anymore, she still cared for him and nobody got to throw such accusations in his face.
The other demigods looked at the scene with wide eyes and finally Piper mustered up the courage to speak after it had been silent for a few seconds but it felt like hours.
"S-s-should w-w-e continue reading?" she asked weakly. Percy looked at her and shrugged casually as if he hadn't been growling in a more terrifying way than a wild wolf. It was honestly scary how much he could be like the god of sea but maybe it was just proper anger direction. Why get angry at the people who didn't do anything?
"Hey, Perce, should we remove the gag?" Chris asked Percy with raised eyebrows.
"If you're not exhausted then who am I to stop you?" Percy smirked wickedly which Chris returned.
"We'll remove it in a while after time out." Chris said, with a glint in his eyes.
Aphrodite looked at the demigods who had gone back to sitting down and continued reading.
Piper gazed at the bronze…Piper wasn't sure.
"Both." Reyna admitted.
"Can't blame you, honestly. You have my respect for still acting rationally after everything." Ares nodded to Reyna.
She'd been prepared to hate…hadn't ever been Reyna's boyfriend, not really.
"Uhhhh." Jason said "This is…awkward." He said awkwardly with a sheepish look at Piper. Reyna nodded in agreement. Zeus raised his eyebrows at his son who was still grinning sheepishly at Piper.
"Wait. You guys did date?" Piper asked.
"Yeah but like we all have exes, right?." Jason answered with a sheepish smile. Piper shrugged.
"I'm not surprised. But was she the only one or do you have more exes?" she asked teasingly. Jason turned red and nodded, making his cousins snicker at his face because Jason was looking redder than a tomato.
"You have a number?" Piper asked curiously.
"Uh…uh… uh yes." Jason answered finally. Piper hid her amused smile at how flustered Jason was.
"I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours." She grinned at him. Jason nodded and cleared his throat.
"5 including you." He said finally. Zeus couldn't help but chuckle and so did Poseidon and Hades at just how much they were reminded of their youngest brother in that one instant.
"Same." Piper smirked at Jason and the two high fived.
"Honestly, impressive, y'all." Leo told to the two of them and they winked at him in unison.
"My bro's a playa." Percy grinned at Jason and the two high fived and burst out laughing.
Maybe Reyna wasn't so bad…her best effort into the charmspeak
Aphrodite smiled gently at her daughter.
"That doesn't matter. Even a little bit of charmspeak would be effective." She told her "It wasn't possible to convince a whole camp with only person capable of charmspeaking anyways. It would also be better to actually form allies through negotiations and a proper sitting down rather than through the ways of charmspeaking. Do not blame yourself, my dear." She told her. Piper smiled gratefully at Aphrodite.
Now Jason was hurt…his eyes gold instead of blue
Jason and Percy groaned as they realized just what that was talking about. Zeus and Poseidon looked at each other, understanding well enough from the demigods' reactions that their sons were the next ones to be possessed by the eidolons and the demigods were most possibly pitted against each other considering the rivalry of their parents.
A woman in an old-fashioned…Percy stumbled and disappeared.
"What the-?" Poseidon said, his eyes wide as he looked at Percy who grimaced.
"It wasn't exactly the kind of water that even I could breathe in…It was abnormally corrupted." Percy tried to explain. Poseidon clenched his jaw at the information. He should have been able to protect his son in his element, corrupted or not but he knew that this one time it wasn't his fault but that didn't mean that it was easy to not blame himself when it came to it. He put aside the thoughts and gestured to Aphrodite to continue reading.
How could a child of the…water rose over her head.
Aphrodite gasped as she felt the breath rush out of her. Hephaestus caught the book as soon as it fell from Aphrodite's hands and immediately continued reading.
Piper shut her eyes…Show me something helpful.
Aphrodite calmed down and gave a grateful look to Hephaestus as the god of fire handed her the book back.
"Technically, it is helpful, right? Because you know its coming?" Katie asked. Apollo and Dionysus shook their heads.
"You know its coming, yes, but there isn't anything you can do about it because you don't know the exact situation. Its like Dio said before, there's an infinite number of possibilities and without knowing the entire situation right down to every single detail, you can't really do anything about it except prepare yourself that its going to happen." Apollo said. Dionysus and the other Olympians looked at Apollo in surprise at the use of Dionysus' nickname that only the twins, Hermes and Ares could use but they said nothing.
"That's…upsetting." Katie sighed.
"It is. Its kind of like a prophecy. Its not very clear but you know enough to know what will happen." Apollo said with a small smile.
She forced herself to look…"You remember who I am?"
Everybody chuckled at Piper's concern. Zeus and Hera were relieved that at least Jason was awake.
"Priorities." Piper chuckled as well.
Jason tried to laugh…"Not yet," Piper said.
"How were you able to hold a conversation without your jaw dropping to the floor?" Rachel asked Piper amusedly.
"I figured some crack shit happened." Piper answered with a smirk, quoting Ares who barked out a laugh and grinned at Piper.
Leo cursed…"I miss all the fun."
"Yes, well, you're in a committed relationship with bricks." Percy supplied.
"Yeah and a relationship would require some sacrifice and time." Piper added. Jason stuck his tongue out at both of them, making Percy and Piper exchange fist-bumps.
On the deck above…black sludge down his face.
Athena grimaced as she realized that there was tar in her hair as well. Poseidon's Hawaiian shirt which he loved so much was covered in tar.
"I look like I took your clothes." Poseidon told Hades miserably.
"And that's why for once you look like you're not about to start chugging Pina Coladas." Hades shot back, making Percy and Nico snort in amusement and Poseidon flip off Hades who smirked.
Ares touched his face and his finger was covered with tar and he shrugged. "Does it at least look like a tattoo?" he muttered to Clarisse who looked him dead in the eye and went "No." Ares snickered and eventually even Clarisse was laughing.
"Ran into some tar monsters…Like…all of them."
Amphitrite face palmed. "That's what happens when you interrupt their fangirling session." She informed.
"How frequently do they have these sessions again?" Poseidon asked.
"Four to five times a month." Amphitrite shook her head. Poseidon snorted and ran a hand through his hair.
"Is it at least over somebody good? Or are they just wasting their work time over random idiots like Narcissus?" he asked. Honestly, a couple of groups of nymphs took way too many "breaks". The others, while they gossiped as well, managed their time well.
"Nope. Its mostly idiots." Amphitrite said.
"Brilliant. This is going to be fun to sort out." Poseidon sighed.
"Great." Percy handed the bucket…she was going to be sick
Hades turned a shade of green and shuddered. Even though he wasn't seasick, he had a feeling after the curse, he wouldn't even be able to look at waves without eating nectar.
"I'll just…" She swallowed…miserably in her cabin.
Hades groaned and rested his head against the couch back. He felt miserable for himself and for Hazel. His daughter had had to spend months like that. Respect.
In the engine room…anvils tied to their feet.
"She caught us." Leo sighed.
"The secret's out, guys." Percy told the rest of the seven.
"Should've called us, man." Jason grinned.
"Next time. This is a daily occurrence." Leo snickered.
After what seemed like hours…chewed to shreds.
Even Hephaestus was now covered in sweat, lime dust and tar as his shirt was also nothing but shreds now but he wasn't bothered because it wasn't the first time. This kind of stuff happened almost every day in his workshop.
Aphrodite stared at Hephaestus and had to try her hardest to rip her eyes away from the god of fire and continue reading the book. Silena, Piper and Beckendorf raised their eyebrows at each other in amusement.
The TEAM LEO on…considering Percy's and Jason's powers.
"Nah, that wasn't us." Jason told Piper.
In an awkward moment…flew from Jason's hands
"Adorable, sparky." Percy told Jason with a smirk. Jason flipped him off but even he was snickering.
"Lets hope it remains that adorable." Demeter sighed, not wanting the same rivalry that broke her brothers apart to break apart Jason and Percy as well.
"Sadly, it did not but we've gotten past it now." Percy told Demeter.
"Yeah, it was stupid." Jason nodded.
After a brief silent standoff…opposite sides of the table.
Everybody especially Thalia, Grover, Percy, Chiron and Jason burst out laughing at this and Annabeth smirked as Percy and Jason grinned at her sheepishly.
"See, she's clearly the boss." Percy said with a teasing smile, holding up his hands in surrender.
"No doubt." Jason said with a grin. Annabeth bowed.
"Nah though, I'm not going to lie, I'm liking seeing you being a little more comfortable with authority." Triton smiled at Percy who shrugged.
"I'll be honest, I think it would still be a little awkward." He said.
"It takes time, yes, but I think the fact that you take everybody's opinions to be of the same importance and not just yours will make you and has made you an amazing leader." Triton smiled at his brother. Percy gave him a grateful look and Poseidon and Amphitrite smiled proudly at their eldest son.
The crew compared notes…even the whipped cream.
"Do you carry that stuff around with you?" Thalia asked Percy in amusement.
"He does." Grover clarified. "He once casually pulled out a packet of blue food coloring once instead of a blue pen from his pencil box and then his pocket." He said.
"It's a necessity." Percy stated.
"We need to put some distance…first and ask questions post hac."
"That sounds more like hostage torture." Clarisse muttered.
"Sadly, that's how things used to work with our camp. But honestly, can you blame us in this situation?" Dakota said. Even Clarisse had to admit that he had a point.
Piper stared at her own dinner…further bad news, but she felt she had to.
"There were going to be very less instances that we were going to get good news, Piper. We were on a quest to prevent the world from being destroyed, after all." Annabeth said with a small smile.
"That's true but continuous bad news makes it worse." Piper sighed.
"Easier to get it all out at once then." Grover chuckled.
"There's more," she said…snoring contentedly above the mantel
The Greek campers smiled softly as they thought of their camp.
"Twins, like in Ella's prophecy… "The Mark of Athena burns through Rome."
Annabeth stiffened and Percy squeezed her hand reassuringly and she gave him a grateful smile. Apollo and Zeus froze as they heard the lines. They turned in unison to glare at Athena.
"You better have a proper explanation for this, daughter. And it would do you well if that explanation is not that you hold a grudge against the Romans." Zeus told her, his voice hard. Athena swallowed thickly, not having had Zeus so angry against her.
"You better because I swear if I find out that something terrible happened to them because of this side quest and the same fate had also befallen other children of yours whose names also you did not know, then you will be at the receiving end of my anger, sister." Apollo said calmly but everybody could see the violence and promise of the same behind his eyes.
Annabeth, that's got to mean you…in his blue whipped cream.
There were a few chuckles at the mental image of Percy making a frowny face on his pie.
"I was only praetor for…"You're not sure?"
"You saw right through that, didn't you?" Jason asked Percy as he sighed. Percy nodded.
"It was obvious but there wasn't any point in pressing on the topic if you weren't ready to talk about it. We didn't know each other well enough to know that it wasn't going to turn into a fight." Percy said.
"That's fair." Jason nodded in agreement.
Jason didn't respond…schizophrenic act together, that's good."
All the campers burst out laughing.
"Flattering." Hermes scrunched up his nose.
"How does it feel, though?" Leo asked curiously.
"Its very painful. Kind of feels like your head is being split in two and I know how that actually feels so trust when I say that I am not exaggerating." Zeus answered. Leo gulped and nodded.
Percy nodded. "We can't kill…miss their home.
"We had slightly bigger things to focus on." Frank smiled.
"And honestly, we were kind of running away from CJ anyways so it would just make it harder to see its images." Hazel said.
The other lines of the prophecy…guys feel about Kansas?"
Dionysus, Apollo and Aphrodite nodded at Piper approvingly.
"See, that's how you can make it useful but not in any extreme ways." Apollo smiled at Piper who looked pleased.
"Chapter's done." Aphrodite announced.
"That was intense. Lets just take a break for a while." Hermes said.
