(Chapter 9: Tyranny is Justice)
"rice, rice-flour bread, noodles, soup, fish, meat, veggies, fruits, condiments, condiments and more condiments. Ahhhhh!" Zoe scratched her head in exasperation. She has been digging through the veryous canned foods and frozen meats for upwards of twenty minutes at this point and she still didn't find any of the things she wanted.
"Why did we have to land in an Asian country. I'm a hot blooded American girl for crying out loud. I want chips, I want soda, where the heck is my junk food!" Zoe dramatically fell to her knees sobbing at the unfairness of it all. Her new raptor companion Chomp was laying in a corner with one eye open looking annoyed.
"Hiss hiss grunt." Zoe looked at the dino with indignation.
"What the hell do you mean get over it! This is a tragedy." Zoe huffed.
"Grunt grawl hiss!" Chomp stood up and snorted.
"BULLSH*T!!!! How dare you say I'll get fat. How the hell do you even know what fat is? You know what, whatever. I'm going to find Ryuko. Hmph." Zoe crossed her arms under her round titties and started to walk out.
"Hisssss!!" Chomp mocked.
"OH HELL NO!!!!" Zoe's face turned bright red and steam erupted out of her ears and nose. Before chomp knew what was happening he got an elbow drop to the face.
"How dare you call my tits tasteless meat bags." For the first time in years Zoe truly lost her temper. There was much hissing and crunching of bones this day.
"Ah chu!" Ryuko let out an explosive sneeze that sent papers flying. She currently had Kohta thrown over her right shoulder like a sack of potatoes more than three times her Size. She was dragging The pink haired nerd Saya by her collar as she headed for the door she arrived in. She rubbed her nose and sniffed.
"Somebody must be talking bout me. That or my happy little pinky finally learned how to dish out some boob justice. Ya right." Ryuko snorted. Just as she turned around a corner she met with the surprised gazes of a group of seven or so teenager's being led by a tall lanky man with black hair and glasses. He had a sinister smile on his face as her took in Ryuko's body. He then looked at Kohta and his gaze darkened before transforming into a gentle expression.
"Oh you poor deer. You must have gone through so much on your own. To think you would endanger yourself for your fellow classmates with such selfless determination. Going so far as to carry them to safety even at the cost of your own dignity. To show such courage and strength as to even carry the likes of Kohta Haruno over your shoulder to safety. Fear not, your strength has brought you to salvation. Now that you are here, I Koichi Shido, shall take you under my protection just as a teacher should." The group of students clapped at the man's words. Ryuko's face was blank. She stared forwards with no sign of emotion. In reality she was just stunned. It was just to much. She was so disturbed by this man's audacity that she couldn't even be pissed off at his utter bullsh*t.
One must consider that Ryuko's experience with teachers is infinitely different than anyone else under Sugu. She came from a might makes right world where murder wasn't a crime if you're strong. HonnÅji Academy was a place we're death matches between students was an everyday affair. The students held most of the power and a teacher's only job other than teaching was to make sure the weak students died as soon as possible. Her middle and elementary schools were much the same, just with less death. She herself had sent students over cliffs to their deaths or to drown unconscious in battle stage safety pools. Even if she knew her school experience wasn't considered normal in other worlds, she Still wouldn't trust this man.
His murderous intent towards the boys and lust for the girls is completely visible to the gears in her eyes. As the man took in the worship of the students with his arms wide like some sort of God she couldn't take it anymore. She dropped Saya like trash before gently laying Kohta on the floor like a treasure. Despite all her claims she desires a man as much as the other girls. She would keep this one even if she has to fight Sugu to the death. Ryuko hid her killing intent and pasted on the most horny gaze she had ever seen on Zoe's face. This didn't go unnoticed by Shido. She walked up to him with a bounce in her step and a sway in her hips.
"Just how lucky can a girl be. You went and got me all wet now." Ryuko plays the role of the love struck horny teen with perfection. She approaches with a smile and places a hand on his chest with a grin. The man no longer does anything to hide the lust in his gaze.
"You don't have to worry about that my dear. It is after all, a teacher's duty to assist his students in anything he can." Just as he moved to embrace her Ryuko whispered in his ear.
"F*ck you." Just after saying those words red fibers exploded from Shido's back drenching the students behind him in blood. Needless to say much screaming and panic followed.
Elsewhere in the school Sugu could be found walking through the halls of the bloody highschool followed by the remaining extractor girls. Wherever she walks blood and corpses evaporate into mist.
"This place is a total disaster area, and that's really saying something from where we just came from." Lucy withheld a gag at the aftermath of Ryuko's little art project. She had seen the bloody and burned corpses of countless monsters. Humans however, is a different story. Niki's eyes are wide in horror. She ran to a nearby trash can and vomited the contents of her stomach.
"Blaaa! What is all this? Gag! There all dead! Who did this." She cried after dropping Misuzu's unconscious body abruptly. Chee chee cought the flat chested girl before she could hit the hard floor.
"Growwwwn!" As if to answer her question a growling corpse with a hole in its torso stumbled around the corner. It's head turned towards them and started moving in their direction.
"Ahhhhhh! Niki screamed in horror at the obviously not alive male student. Her scream woke up Misuzu abruptly. Her screams followed almost instantly as the undead was the very first thing she saw after waking up. Then she passed out again. Niki backed away in fear before Levy put a comforting hand on her back. Niki jolted, but soon calmed down as a gentle green light flowed into her.
"Don't worry, it can't hert us." Levy turned to the other's with a sorrow filled gaze.
"Any volunteers?" She asked, not wanting to know how it fills to kill someone. Even an already dead someone. Even if the existence of zombies is normal to her she hasn't actually faced them before. Sugu let out a breath in preparation, but before she could rase a hand Lucy stopped her with a serious gaze.
"Don't force yourself for our sakes Sugu. You have spilled enough blood for a lifetime. Besides, I want to try out one of my new mana based spells." Lucy plastered on a gentle smile before stepping infront of the group. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly, then her eyes hardened. She rased both of her hands and started to chant a spell.
" here i go. Ignite the field with your fiery embrace and leave nothing but ashes in your wake. Pyre Pyro!!!"
Stillness. No one moved. Lucy was blushing in embarrassment at her little show as she felt the odd gazes of the others on her back. They varied from indifference to disbelief with the acception of one sparkling eyed Niki who had completely forgotten about her fear. A sizzling sound, then a oringe glow started to light up beneath the zombies skin. Then it erupted. The zombie was consumed by flames originating from its bones. Two seconds later the living dead was replaced by black charred bones that clattered to the floor surrounded by a circle of ashes.
"Eeeeeeeeeeeek! That was so amazing! It was like something out of a manga! TEACH MEEEE!!!" The silence was broken by a squealing Niki who wasted no time jumping over and hugging Lucy's Thigh. Levy groaned before peeling Niki off Lucy who was completely stunned by this sudden outburst.
"Get ahold of yourself! No magic for you until you know scream teck like the back of your hand, got it." Levy scolded the new girl who was rubbing her head in embarrassment while nodding. Lucy sighed at the new girls reaction to her spell.
"You really need to get a handle on that. Anyway, Sugu. I have been meaning to ask but what exactly are we planning to do with this world. I mean it goes without saying we're going to grab a surplus of girls to Kickstart this worlds scream revolution but what about this world as a whole?" Lucy asked curiously. She has a vague idea but she wants to hear it with her own ears. Sugu had a unique glint in her eyes as she met her gaze. Then, she smiled. It was a sweet, innocent smile one might expect from an angel.
"Isn't it obvious." Her smile widened into something terrifying.
"We, will, take, everything. This is an Invasion. We're taking over ladies." Sugu's ki erupted sending wild wind in all directions and creating a small localized earthquake.
"Let the games begin."
