He arrived with his people at the grey terminal to rescue as many survivors as possible, but what they found caught them by surprise. In the middle of the fire was a woman with wings for arms, taking the fire out. Besides there was a path open for everyone to escape safely towards the forest.

He took a closer look and saw something that will change the tides of fate for ever more "No matter if they survive, tomorrow without a doubt those nobles will send some guards to finish them up" everyone understood what he meant "For now let's leave this to the Princess. Tomorrow we have work to do!"

Dadan was having one of the most peaceful days of her entire life. Nobody was bothering her and those brats didn't come back that much lately. She wasn't worried because she sent Dogra and some of their men to check on them by far for the last month. She took one deep sip from her beer and spit it out as quickly as Dogra and his men came back screaming, don't kill us "You morrons, have you seen what you did?!" they have ruined one of her best beers! "We are sorry for everything" as they should! "so what brings you here? you four are supposed to be on a look out mission of my brats" she might never say it aloud but deep down she does care for the kids safety "That's the problem boss!" one of the bandits he sent to help dogra was shaking as he started talking out "We we're doing our job yous fine but then everything got out of control! Those kid's were insane! they went to the most dangerous places of the whole forest like it was their own playground. We couldn't keep up with them and unfortunately that- " They were on so much trouble..." Leaded us to fell of a cliff. But not any cliff! the deepest one on Dawn island! we don't even know how the hell we are even alive!!!" those kids! he should have known that his man would not be able to keep on with them..."So after you got out, you went back to your duty's right?" if they were afraid now they were shaking. Dogra decided that it was his time to step in "You see boss, we you's got out" with those simple words, hell broke losses on the Dadan House.

The four faced down a lot of trying to survive. Like eating insects or some animals that fell off towards the cliff, to end all beated up by their boss after there miraculous survival. But who could blame her? she was worried. No one was watching out for her brats now that they weren't coming back to sleep at her place. Everyone thinks she doesn't care if they are alive or not, but that would be like saying that Garp was an angel of a person. She knows that she hasn't really been a mother for Ace as she wishes could have been, but really what does Garp expect from some mountain bandits?.

Talking about Garp, she really should go and see how they are doing or she will be dead if Garp finds out that his grandsons are dead or something.

"You understood?!" Dadan was proud of her plan. They will only spy on the three most important moments of the day instead of the whole day. This will help so his minions don't end up lost or eaten up somewhere again, because they can't keep up with his brats. " Yes Boss!!".

One day later Dogra arrived early in the morning to the tree house. He knew by the other times they had spied on them what hour exactly they came back to eat their hunt. So that way he would not go behind them on their hunting routine and die in the process.

Pancakes, he smelled sweet and delicious pancakes that were being eaten by their brats! Wait is that a cup of milk on Luffy's hands? WHAT THE HELL!!!.

He went back towards the bandit hideout after that "So anything to say" dogra was in front of her boss who was expecting some news about the brats "They are doing fine. Still pretty alive but" you can do it dogra "but what?" here goes nothing" They were eating pancakes for breakfast" This got Dadan full attention "Magra maje sure to be extra aware if you notice anything else" Dadan ordered to Magra. Pancakes? The real problem with them was who made them. Because surely their brats didn't, that means that there's someone else out there.

"Are you sure you didn't make this all up?" Dadan couldn't believe what she heard from Magra. Let's rewind a little bit, Magra came back from her mission and started talking about how he got lost in the forest. This wouldn't be so much of a deal if it weren't for the tree changing their places like they were being controlled by someone "I swear boss!" Magra knew what he saw. It was impossible to follow their tracks, it was like someone knew he was there "Listen to you both! You will go with re forces, we don't know what we are facing up".

Dogra and Magra were outside the tree house late at night, everything was going smoothly until they heard someone singing. It was the voice of a woman, and it was coming from the tree house .They decided to investigate, and as they got closer they could see that the woman was beautiful. She was singing a lullaby for the three little brats who were slowly falling asleep.The stopped singing, they have been discovered!. This made them fall to the ground "Who are you?" She came towards them ready to attack, "What are you two doing here?" but before she could Ace's voice was heard. The loud noise made it impossible for him to fall asleep. What a surprise for him to find Dogra and Magra spying on them "Let them go, i know them" they never thought they would be so happy to see Ace! They thought they were done for! That woman was scary!.

After some time Magra and Dogra came back, but to her surprise they were not alone. Besides them was a beautiful looking woman, something that looked really out of place around bandits "May i ask you who is she?" The woman took a step closer "Ace told me a lot about you miss Dadan. It is an honor to finally meet ya, Palila at your service".

It was one of the most interesting conversations she ever had in a long time. No every day comes someone who says to be the new mother figure of your brats. She may not be a mother for them but they still were hers, she will not give them up to anyone.

"I am Ace's guardian, what do you want from my brats? Cause if it is money I assure you they don't have any" She asked in a serious tone, but there was still some warmth in her voice. The woman Palila smiled and took another step closer " If money was what i wished for, then i would have given Ace to the marines long ago" Dadan was taken back by what she said, Ace didn't tell you's anyone about his heritage. He most truly trusts her that much for that "So he talked to you about Roger, didn't he?" she said after a long moment of silence. The woman's smile widened at her response "Ace is terrible with words, he would much rather show his gratitude through actions. But i don't, so thank you miss Dadan for taking care of him" Dadan felt herself begin to soften at the woman's words, it had been so long since anyone had shown her any sort of kindness.

"You know Roger was a old friend of mine" the woman said with a touch of nostalgia on her voice, and Dadan could not ignore this "He was a great man, had big dreams to big for person.The government might say other wise but Roger was a visionary." Palila, only stared at the older woman "Roger was different" Palila continued "He saw farther than any other man i knew. He wanted to create a new era." She sighed heavily and looked away from Dadan before continuing in a quieter voice "The government didn't see it that way though. They thought he was dangerous" Dadan signed and took a deep sip from her beer "Ace grandpa, the man that took him up his wing and put him at my care, never really tell me that much about him.Only that Ace didn't deserve being punish by his father's sins" Palila shared a nowing look towards her "Sadly Ace, he doesn't -" Dadan couldn't even finish the sentence " see it in a nother way right?" Palila answered as this time she was who took a sip from the beer " You know i had a friend that was yous as him, every time i see Ace i see him. Maybe that's why i was so determined to know the brothers better" Dadan looked at the girl with a sad smile "I know by the kids that you are not really that good as a mother figure." she signed. Dadan couldn't deny this even if she tried to "But i most said i am impressed, you did more that it could be expected for a bandit to. You think i didn't notice?" Palila smirked " You send your subordinates to spy on us, because you care right?" that woman was truly something else " And what if i did?" she tried to look like she didn't care but ot seemed like it was in vain "I like you" the woman said with a smile and Dadan couldn't agree more "Me too" Palila took some air and said " The kids are sleeping back at the tree house, don't worry they will would be fine as long as they stay at the mountain" Dadan know looked at her with a curious look " And how can you be sure" Palila gave away a smile "Cause i am nature it self".

Both women kept drinking happily, until a bandit that was at fosha village came back "Boss is an emergency!" the man screamed loud enough for everyone to hear "Grey terminal is on fire! It could expand towards the forest!" at this palila stood up "I am coming with you, they are my brats too" Dadan said. The two mothers made their way towards the tree house.

Luffy was woken up by his mom, who softly moved him a bit "Luffy wake up" a soft yawn escaped him " I can't get up" at that her mom took him up in her arms "Ace, Sabo wake up" Palila now tried to wake the other two up. Sabo woke up first "Can you help me wake up you brother, we need to leave" Sabo was yous waking up so his sense of direction was bad, but he quickly understood "Ace you moron wake up" he said with a tiredness on his voice "Let me sleep you asshole " Ace tried to go back to the dreamland, but Sabo trew him the pillow at his face "Okay i will! ".

Sabo was a little more aware and noticed a certain smell so he climbed towards the top of the tree house and saw a fire "Mom! What's happening?" he had a bad feeling about this. Palila took them out of the tree house where they saw "What are they doing here?" Dadan. Ace was now totally awake "Listen kids theirs not much time for explanations, the rest of the bandits have already evacuated towards fusha. There's a fire going on in the gray terminal, it's not safe right now at the forest" Luffy who was a little more awake now answers"But why? Mommy says the forest is safe" Palila hugged him tightly as she answered "Normally, but the fire could get here and expand. And I can't keep you safe at the same time that i deal with the fire" Luffy nodded agreeing with her "Wait! you said the grey terminal?!" Sabo was now panicking "There's nothing we can do?" He was desperate. Even the people of the grey terminal were even better than the nobles, he practically grew up there after he left the noble life "Dadan can you make me a favor" Dadan took Ace and Sabo by surprise as she grabbed them up at her arms " Not need to ask, they were my responsibility first" Palila gave Luffy to dadan who was know on Dadan neck like a monkey "What do you think ya doing let me go?!" Ace tried to free himself " Sabo if you really want to save them and take the fire down then let me do it. Dadan will keep you safe so i don't have to worry and i can do my job" she said as she kissed him on the forehead "Down worry you three, i am strong remember? a little fire won't kill me" Ace stopped struggling and gave up "Okay. But promise you will come back" Ace has never sounded so scared in his life. He knew she was strong but the little kid inside of him couldn't avoid the fear of losing his mom again "I promise".

Palila soon arrived at the grey terminal. She passed the fire like it was nothing, and soon made her way towards the center of the terminal. All around her she could feel the lives of hundres fading quickly "Let's get this started" as soon as that her hands became wings and using them she made a escape route towards the forest "You don't need to know me yous follow this path and you will live" she said loud enough to people to notice her. They saw the route and like sardines they went towards them without a second thought. As soon as everyone escaped, Palila started moving her wings to create some air strong enough to get rid of the fire.

What she didn't know was two things.

The first one being that from the far Monkey D. Dragon was watching her turn off the fire.

And the last one is something that nobody thought about, the fury of a world noble.
