Luffy was excited at the whole school thing. He was going to make a lots of new friends and learn things that could help him be pirate king.

He learned that blue and red make purple! So it wasn't suprise when he found this weird colourful water he had to put his new knowledge to the test. It was and amazing idea!

What could go wrong?

They were expell shishishi.

In the good sight of things their mom was who was teaching them knew stuff! And thanks to Ace's request they are gonna learn one of the most important things to be a pirate!

Music.

When Luffy meet Shanks he also meets sea shanties. His favorite being Bink's no Sake.

The red hair pirates will always sing it all day long and he would join them up. Singing made there party's more fun and Luffy loved listening to the story that the song had. Shanks and everyone laughed saying that songs are you's song's and he refused to accept it. Cuz songs weren't you's songs they were the telling of something more. And sea shanties were the stories of old sailor's, and Luffy always loved a good story.

When Palila became there mom he saw her hesitation. He knew her mom didn't know if she really had what it takes but tried anyway. And Luffy couldn't agree more, cuz how would you know if your aren't good at something if you never tried? It's dumb right?.

Luffy knows his mom's still doubts if she's doing a good job, but Luffy knows she's perfect for it. She's perfect cuz not only she's Palila and that makes her perfect but she also is a story teller. And Luffy loves hearing story's. She told them story's about this amazing captain that never grows and flights his biggest fears.

And that gave Luffy some confidence in him self to keep up trying to be stronger even though his brother's still beat the shit out of him shishishi.

Sometimes when Ace is sad and can't sleep,

Sometimes when Sabo has dreams of waking up in his parents house,

Sometimes when Luffy has nightmares of being all alone again,

Their mom sings about love and dream's.

As she hugs them thigh Luffy can't stop loving her more and more. Cuz when she sings is like a soft wind telling him his darkest secrets while loving him and sending promises of love and care.

—Can't sleep my sun?— she asks him softly as he affirms her — Would you like that i sing for you?— Luffy nods back happily as he's wrapped on the softest of blankets

"Golden slumbers fill your eyes,

Smiles awake you when you rise,

Sleep, pretty darling,

Do not cry,

And I will sing a lullaby".

If there's something Luffy love's more than Sea shanties is the beautiful voice of his mother that gives him reassurance of safety and Love.

He knows that he could never sing as pretty as his mom but if there's a way that he can share the same love his mother shares through music he would give it a try.

She let them tried every instrument she knew how to play.

Cuz his mom is the BEST musician ever!

"Join my crew mom!" He asks her. And as expected she declines his offer "I'm a retired pirate Luffy. But I don't have doubt that someday you will find someone who will sing your worries away" she saids with a grin tooth to tooth. And Luffy doubts that's there could be someone as good as his mom...

"What's that Bo?" Ace asks after seeing Sabo with a big type of tube? "It's call a trumpet Ace!" He answers as he try it up. To everyone suprise Sabo had a natural talent for the trumpet. Soon after that Ace was more determined on founding something for him seeing it was his idea the whole let's learn music.

He was struggling not matter what he tried he never found something he really liked until he asked his mom about -

"My lullabies lyrics? You want to learn them?" Ace nods back in reassurance.

Maybe Luffy was wrong, there was someone who could sing with the same love and reassurance as his mom. And that was Ace, but sadly his older brother made it clear he would not join his crew.

What a waste of talent~.

"And you Luffy? Did you found anything of your liking?" His mother and brother looked back at him with curious eyes as Luffy smiled "This!" He started hitting the little drumd with his tiny sticks. For everyone suprise he wasn't bad he was actually pretty good "How did you do it?" Someone asks and Luffy isn't sure who but he answers anyway "By following my heart!" His brothers didn't understood at the beginning but his mom did.

His mom knew that his sweet little boy was following the beat of his own heart and that was something so Luffy. Doing something out of nowhere and being so intelligent at the same time.

At the end she told them something very important. "The royal line of Fenix has two clans. The main one that holds the power to all forms of nature and the eternal healing flames. The second clan has only access to the healing flames, that's why they are consider royal." Palila after some time felt that it was finally time they knew "But the main one holds the most important task and that's is not to rule above all but to share the ancient songs" Palila told them about the main clan that she belongs to. Tolds them how at ancient times this songs were passed to the Fenix in order to protect them and never let them die.

"I'm the only one of the main clan that's left. And i wanned to ask if you would like to learn the songs of forgotten tales" After all there mom did to them they couldn't reject the offer. Even if Sabo an Luffy did not sing they learned the melody. And ol' Ace was who learned to sing it. They actually ended loving every single song, especially Luffy cuz they were story's that only them knew!.

And that made it special.

After that late at night they were all exhausted, apparently trying every single instrument consumes to much.

"Drift off through the clouds

In your little boat,

And sail by the sparkling stars,

So fluffy and light,

As they were being wrapped to bed every single of them couldn't be more greatful to have each other.

Ace never knew what it felt to really let his guard down until he discovered what having a mom was like. Having a mom was like not being the oldest one anymore, for the first time he was able to depend in someone else to keep him safe.

"So hush my darling,

Until we see the sun,

Sabo sleeped in love. He never knew what being love for who you are and not your achievements was like until he found his mom and brothers.

Luffy has some envy for the captain of his mom. It wasn't fair he had the best musician and story teller ever! He was going to make sure to find a amazing story teller and a musician when he grew up!.

"Until we see the sun,

I will keep you safe from harm"

They felt asleep on the night sky full of star's.

Palila walked out of there room as she watched the stars.

She felt asleep after a while with a happy smile. Since they came into her life her songs and story's changed. From singing of long lost dreams to singing of love and protection. These tree little kids are the light to her life.

She lived years in sadnesses after losing everything and this kids brought her back her long lost smile back.
