Luffy was having a blast with Sabo.
"Mis. eagle are you lost?" The calm belt lacks wind currents made it almost impossible for birds to know how to navigate them. The brothers have it easy cause they never went too far from the house and lived there. On the contrary the birds tried to go to the next destination but the lack of wind currents could get them lost.
And that was the case of the eagle Luffy found "And who may you be?" The agle as him " Monkey D. Luffy the man who's gonna be King of the Pirates!" He exclaimed "Then Miss. Mokey would you know how to get out of here?"Luffy helped the eagle get out into the grand line. He was ready to go home but-
"Shishi i think I'm lost".
While looking for an island he didn't see the pirate ship that was close to him.
"Captain a bird on fire is upon us!" One of the crew members alerted his captain "A fire bird you say? Oh may we may yous bought our golden ticket to Whitebeard..."
Apparently the pirates thought that Luffy was Marco the Phoenix. The Fenix race may not have been erased from history but everyone has given it out as exting years ago. That's why they thought it must be the famous whitebeard pirate Marco, right hand man of the strongest man in the world.
They shot Luffy down and caught him before landing at sea. They were using armament haki so surely in some way Luffy landed on the new world, how? It's Luffy his weird!.
"We got him!!!" The boat sailed away happy with their catch. It was late at night when all of them were drunk up, the ship was shacked by a fellow pirate ship "We're under attack!!!" Luffy was trapped on a cell guarded by a scary man that beat him down with haki.
The room was dark and scary he couldn't see anything "i wan-t my mommy~" he sobbed out "Are you really Marco the Fenix? Cuz you surely are acting pathetic for someone of your prestige" Luffy didn't understand what this man was trying to say, all he wanted was to go back home.
All of a sudden a blast was heard. Sounds of a fight going outside was heard all the way to wear he was being kept at. Then the door was shut open for some man that beat down the man that was supposed to keep an eye on him "Whats this? A Fenix? Marco's?" They dragged him with them and Luffy was so freaked out that he didn't even try to escape, so he closed his eyes.
Suddenly he heard multiple voices.
"What' did you bring back?"
"It's Marco!"
"You dumbass that's not Marco!!!"
He finally opened his eyes at the familiar voice.
"But it's a fenix!" The captain rolled his eyes at such a response "Marco's is blue that one is white!" Luffy could finally see who was the man of the familiar voice " Shanks?".

Shanks was bored as hell so when they saw an enemy ship they decided to bring it down you's for the sake of boredom. The men on the ship weren't that much of a deal they were easily beaten up by his newest recruit. Said recruit brought back what looked like a fenix "What' did you bring back?" He asked while not taking his eye off this unexpected visit?. Shank's is a big name pirate and that comes with knowledge about a lot of things people nowadays think of as myths "Its Marco!" And one of them is knowing that Marco is not the only fenix in this world. But Marco isn't a real fenix is he? Our the Fenix devil fruit is you's a big cover up? He may never know, never asked.
"You dumbass that's not Marco!!!" He responded back and suddenly the bird opened his eyes to him. And Shank felt like he knew those eyes from somewhere "Shank's?" The bird asked and suddenly in the cage instead of the Fenix stood Luffy. The kid who he promised they would see themselves until he was a great pirate "Luffy?" After a long period Luffy finally realized something "Nooo I'm not- cuz if i were then our promise would be broken!" He answered with a weird poker face. He really didn't know how to lie!.
After a while they finally got Luffy to calm enough to talk to them after refusing to see Shanks, cuz that would break their promise. Shanks told him that this could be an exception and wouldn't affect their promise ,soon after Luffy was back to being happy go Luffy.
"So Luffy can you tell us what are you doing here?" They could have asked about the whole Fenix thing, but decided to go slow so they wouldn't upset the child with to much personal questions "I Was PLAying with SaBO hide and seek and then-" Luffy went so fast that you could barely understand him "Slow down buddy!" After that Luffy explained how he helped an eagle who got lost and this ended up with him getting lost and captured.
"What do you say about if these old fellas give you a ride back home?" Luffy jumped excited at it " Really?! I get to travel with you?!" Beck Beckman came closer and joined the conversation "Shanks i know you want to bring Luffy back home, but were exactly?" Shanks turned around and responded" To Fosha-" but stopped remembering the news about the destruction of the island.
How the whole crew believed that they could never see Luffy again, that Shank's sacrifice was in vain.
"Not long ago we thought he was dead. You're all so caught up in having him here that you totally forgot what happened" Benn is right they did but everything besides.
"Luffy were exactly are we taking you?".

They were surprised to know that Luffy lived somewhere on the calm belt. Were exactly? They didn't have a clue. Luffy said that his mom is probably already looking up for him so it would be you's matter of time until they meet.
"So who's this mom you are talking about? Last time i knew you didn't know her?" Shank's finally asked with a lot of the crew putting all of their attention to the kid's response "I didn't meet her until after i became brothers with Ace and Sabo! She's suuuper cool and strong!"Luffy tried to express himself with his hands bit ended up looking a bit clumsy"Strong? " At that Luffy buffed his chest out" Even more than you!" Shanks only laughed at him saying that sure she was.
Luffy started yelling about how Shanks was laughing again at him "She even has a better name than you!" That caught Shank's attention "Really?" .
The sound of something hitting the floor was heard.
"Luffy you're sure?" Shanks started shaking Luffy up and down
"Captain slow down!"
"It's you's a name!"
"It's not a big deal!!!!!"
He's crew said to him. But Shanks you couldn't ignore what Luffy's has you's revealed.
" I wasn't supposed to say it Shishishi"
What exactly did he say? Well Luffy may have told everyone Palila's true name. Name that is tearing Shanks apart "Calm down sir." Yasopp stood up this was getting out of hand " You guys don't get it-" Shanks said with concern "Get what?" Shanks drank his own saliva out of the stress.
" Luffy's mom is my old Captain's Crush!"
"EHHHHHH!!!".
Years ago when he was only a cabin boy in the big wide seas. Buggy felt sick again.
—Cap' Buggy is sick again!—
—Shut up Shank's!—
Buggy was dragged up to sleep and got some rest after crocus check him up.
—Red are you sure you aren't sick too?—
—Me? Of course not- —he almost hit the floor. Apparently Buggy got him sick.
The fever was high and neither of the boys could fall asleep —Roger what are you doing here? Let the patients rest!—Crocus didn't like Roger sneaking up on the medical bay so late at night —Don't be such a party boomer croc!— Roger sited besides them — Okay fine, you can stay. But if you get sick, don't say i didn't warn you!— Crocus could be rough with Roger but in the end he meant well.
—How are you doing my buddy?— He said to Shanks who looked as red as Buggy's nose —WeeEeell?~—Shanks couldn't even say something right, he's throat hurt too much —That doesn't sound like well bud. Hey what ya say about a song?— The last thing either Shanks our Buggy though his captain to know how to do it is singing.
"Blow the wind southerly, southerly, southerly, Blow the wind south where' s the bonnie blue sea, Blow the wind southerly, southerly, southerly, Blow bonnie breeze my lover to me and bring her to me".
The next day they asked about it and his answer didn't quite settle on them.

"So what does this crush think all about cap'?" Lucky roo asked while eating a meat stick "Back when i was still a cabin boy our captain told us about the woman of his life. We used to use that in our favor multiple times, like mocking him up. Even more when he started dating Miss. Rouge, we used that in our favor to threaten him in telling Rouge about her" Shanks said it as if it was funny as hell "YOURE A DEMON!" Everyone said in unison.
"But it worked we were able to get away with a lot of things, but weirdly enough the woman our captain was so in love of is Luffy's mom!" Shanks said pointing to Luffy "I don't get what's the big deal out of it!" Luffy contra attacked " The thing is that now I'm totally more interested in meeting your mom. Not every day you meet the woman that left the legendary pirate king in the friend zone!".

"Cap'we are going to enter at any moment the calm belt!" Shanks was ready to attack if any sea kings decided to come "Let's bring Luffy back to his mom!"
