Sorry if you find any grammar mistakes. I'm still learning English because it's not my first language.
It was night and the moon had replaced the sun on the sky. Many people were already in bed at this time of day, getting some sleep to be ready for another day of either school or work. A certain group of people wasn't among those people. This group of people know as the Vanguard Action Squad had recently been transported into a massive forest in order to put their plan of attacking the U.A summer training camp into action.
Gareth slowly walked to the edge of the hill and set his eyes on the massive forest in front of him, his mask covering his face. The masked villain clenched his hands, as he continued to stare ahead of himself. This was it. It wouldn't be long before he and his fellow villains from the Vanguard Action Squad would begin their attack. He let out a soft sigh to calm himself down as the thought of leading the Vanguard Action Squad was still making him a bit nervous, promising himself to do his best as the leader of the Vanguard Action Squad to not ruin everything he and Shigaraki had planned. Shigaraki, Kurogiri and All For One put a lot of faith him when it came for this operation and he was not going to show them they made a mistake by doing so.
He titled his head to the side when he heard someone approach him from behind and saw Origami standing next to him. He set his eyes on Origami as Origami set her eyes on him. The two of them exchanged glances with each other, letting each other know they were ready to for whatever was going to happen tonight, despise the nervousness they were feeling right now for their own reasons, without exchanging any words with each other.
"I don't like it! It's so no cute." Toga whined, wearing a piped black mask that was decorated with the pieces of pale metal in the shape of a carnivorous grin. Needless to say, the blond haired girl was not a big fan of the gear Shigaraki and Gareth had ordered for her as she would have preferred something much cuter than what she had gotten. She already voiced her disappointment with her gear many times ever since Gareth showed it to her back in the warehouse.
"This was orchestrated by the designer behind the scenes, right?" Mustard said, stopping on Gareth's right as Toga looked at him, "Appearances don't matter as long as it makes sense."
"I'm not talking about that. I just don't want to wear this." Toga replied, flailing her arms up and down as she shifted her attention to Gareth, "Gakkun. The next time ask me what I want to wear the next time you and Tomura-kun will order a new gear for me."
"I'll remember about it for the next time." Gareth nodded at her, "As I already told you back in the warehouse when I showed you your gear, my and Tomura-kun's order of this gear was very sudden and we didn't have much time to ask anyone about the kind of gear they would be interested in."
Toga nodded back at him with a satisfied look on her face and shifted her gaze from him to Origami. She moved closer to her 'bestie', "What about you Origami-chan? You didn't get anything new from Gakkun and Tomura-kun?"
"I didn't need anything for this attack. I already have everything I need." Origami replied with a slightly nervous look on her face, keeping her hand on her sheathed katana as she was still nervous about how she was going to perform in this attack, "Flashbang grenades are all I need to do my task in this entire thing, but I just need to find some rocks to create them which I don't think will be too hard."
"Okay." Toga nodded in understanding and walked closer to Origami, putting her hands on her shoulders as Mustard let out an annoyed sigh at her action, "Don't be so nervous, Origami-chan~. I know this is your first time but I'm sure you'll do well. I could hear how much you and Gakkun were training in my room ever since I moved in on the same corridor."
"Hi darlings." Magne approached them from behind with a grin on her face, her magnet resting on her right shoulder, "Sorry to keep you waiting~."
Moonfish was right behind her. He was a fairly tall man. He wore a black straitjacket that only leaves his mouth exposed. The suit was held together by black restraints decorated with red spikes. These same restraints connected to metal clamps that covered Moonfish's head and kept his lips open. Other straps went across Moonfish's torso, waist, and the top of his boots. Gareth had to admit. Kurogiri wasn't lying when he said Moonfish appearance made him hard to miss. Origami seemed utterly creeped out by Moonfish's appearance the first time she laid her eyes on him.
"Get to work. Get to work. Get to work..." The death row convict kept repeating those words over and over again like a crazy prayer, drooling. At least Gareth didn't have to worry about Moonfish forgetting about his target and his part in this operation as he seemed extremely dedicated to his job because of his constant chanting.
Muscular, Dabi and Spinner were right behind Moonfish. Muscular looked impatiently at the forest in front of him, already wanting to move out to attack the summer camp as he cracked his fingers. Dabi stared at the forest in front of him and his fellow villains with a blank look on his face as Spinner smirked, fixing his mask. The group of nine villains remained on the edge of the cliff and continued to look over the forest, wanting for the rest of them to arrive.
"That makes us nine." Dabi stated, his eyes not leaving the forest.
Mustard looked between the villains assembled around him, "Where's the Nomu, Compress and Twice?"
"They're coming. They're probably getting themselves ready for this operation right now." Gareth replied, "Give them time. Remember we still have some time before we will leave to do our jobs."
"I don't care." Muscular said, cracking his fingers, "Just let me at them. I'm getting to pumped up."
"No. You're move out in the time we planned to do so. Just like the rest of us." Gareth replied as Muscular glared at him, hating the fact Shigaraki choose a teenager out of everyone he could to lead them in this operation, "Moving out earlier than planned and without the entire team at ready won't do any good for our plans. If we do things just like we planned, the heroes will be too confused to realize what hit them in time which will only work in our favor."
"The brat is right." A smirk grew on Dabi's face upon hearing Gareth's words, "We'll move when all twelve of us are here. Gathering a bunch of punks who are just strong will only increase the risk. It's better to have a group of experience elites. First we make them realize that their peace is resting in our hands."
"Greetings my comrades." Mr. Compress' voice echoed behind them. The masked villain tipped his hat as approached them from behind, stopping on the edge of the cliff, just like the rest of them, and planted his cane into the earth, "I apologize for making you wait for myself. I was preparing myself for my debut as a member of the League of Villains and it took more time than I have anticipated."
"At least you came in time." Dabi said.
"Where's Twice?" Gareth asked, the eyelids of his mask displaying two question marks.
"He was right behind me." Mr. Compress responded as he pointed behind him, "We've come across each other when we were on our way here and had a decent conversation with each other about this operation."
"Hi there! Sorry to keep you waiting! I would have come here sooner, but I thought Mr. Compress could use some company!" Twice made himself know to the rest of the team right after Mr. Compress mentioned him. He stopped next to Mr. Compress and looked between Gareth and Dabi, "Don't blame me for coming late! It's your fault for arriving here so soon!"
Gareth nodded his head at Twice. All he and the rest had to do now was to wait for the Nomu his Sensei had provided them for this operation to arrive. He looked between Mr. Compress, Muscular and Moonfish a few seconds later, wanting to remind them about something, "Mr. Compress. Muscular, Moonfish. Make sure to let me know if you'll catch Bakugo before I'll report the capture of Ragdoll. This way I will know I won't have to join you and will head towards our escape point with Weaponsmith instead."
"Understood. I'll make sure to keep it im my mind during this operation." Mr. Compress voiced his understanding of Gareth's words, bowing his head a little as Muscular reluctantly nodded in understanding while Moonfish grunted which Gareth took as his own way of voicing his understanding.
"Hello, Gareth." Kurogiri's voice sounded in Gareth's earpiece.
Gareth touched his earpiece and replied to the misty villain calling out for him, "Kurogiri?"
"Is the entire Vanguard Action Squad ready for this operation?" Kurogiri wanted to know as Origami, Toga, Mustard, Spinner and Magne looked at Gareth upon hearing him call out for Kurogiri.
"Yes." Gareth nodded in confirmation, "All of us are in our assigned meeting spot in the forest right now and are waiting for the Nomu to arrive."
"Very well." Kurogiri replied, "I have visual on your location. I'm transporting the Nomu to your location right now."
Gareth took his hands off his earpiece a few seconds later, hearing Kurogiri's portal open behind him and the rest of the Vanguard Action Squad. Out of the portal, stepped out the Nomu. It had a very large, muscular build and a mint green skin. It wears black trousers ripped just above it's kneecaps, and a brown belt. It's brain was exposed, just like in any other Nomu, but most of it was protected by a shiny, purple helmet with two red visors and a metal gag. The most defining feature about this Nomu was the six retractable arms that protrude from its back, each having a construction tool coming out of it.
The masked villain put his hand on his earpiece again after setting his eyes on the Nomu, "It's here, Kurogiri. I'm looking at it right now."
"Very well. I'll be closing the warp gate now." Kurogiri said, "Good luck Gareth. I know you're nervous because of you the position of the leader of the Vanguard Action Squad you were put in, but remember to not let your nervousness get the best of you and everything will work out."
Gareth nodded, appreciating Kurogiri saying this to him, "Thank you, Kurogiri. I'll make sure to keep your words in mind after we will begin this operation."
"We'll see each other after I will transport you and the rest back into the hideout after you will complete your tasks." Kurogiri replied before disconnecting, ending the conversation he was having with Gareth for the past few moments.
Spinner narrowed his eyes at the Nomu which was brought to them by Kurogiri, setting his attention on the chainsaws coming out of the creature, "Is it just me or this Nomu looks like it was designed by someone who read too much Chainsaw Man?"
"All it is lacking is a chainsaw cord on it's chest." Mustard stated as Kurogiri's portal vanished from everyone's view, leaving just Nomu.
Spinner looked at Mustard with an interested look on his face, "You read Chainsaw Man?"
"What? No." Mustard quickly replied in an almost embarassed tone, doing his best to make himself sound natural, "I just saw the drawings of the main character on the internet when I was browsing it while looking for the proper equipment."
"I don't like it." Toga looked at the Nomu in disgust, "It's gross."
"Shut up, crazy brat." Dabi told her, "It doesn't matter whether you like how it looks like or not. It's job is to wreak havoc when everyone will be doing their job. Not too look good. I don't even know how it would have to look like to be considered cute as your meaning of this word is fucked up."
"Alright. Everyone is here." Gareth looked around the villains gathered around him, "Are you all ready or is there something you want to take care of before we will move out to out positions?" When everyone remained silent, he nodded his head, "Okay. If all of you are ready, then It's time to move out to our positions."
"Finally." A large grin grew on Muscular's face as he immediately reacted to Gareth's words and started to make his way towards his position, "If we kept up this pace, everyone would have gone home by now."
"Alright then. Come on Twice. Let's get into our position. Give me the signal when you're all ready and I'll start litting up the trees." Dabi said, beginning to move towards his position as Twice saluted at him in an excited manner before following him.
"Good luck, you two! I can't wait to show you the movie I recently watched after we will come back to out hideout!" Toga waved her hand at Gareth and Origami with a smile hidden behind her mask, before running down the hill into the forest.
"Time for work. Time for work. Time for work..." Moonfish started to chant those words over and over again as he made his way down the hill in the forest, vanishing between the trees.
Everyone split up from each other and started to make their way towards their respective positions. Gareth and Origami exchanged glances and nodded at each other before starting to make their way into the forest where they would begin their search for Ragdoll. Gareth let out one last soft sigh into his mask, intending to keep the promise of doing his best to make this plan he made to himself as he and Origami walked into the forest, vanishing between the trees.
Gareth and Origami walked together through the forest, having split up from the rest of the League to do their job of capturing Ragdoll and delivering her to Kurogiri several minutes ago. The two of them didn't stop much after splitting up from the rest. In the last several minutes they stopped only once for a moment right after entering the forest, because Origami wanted to turn the two rocks she found on the path into flashbang grenades which she would later use to do her job of blinding Ragdoll.
Origami looked up towards at the night sky as she walked closely behind Gareth, her right hand on her sheathed katana. The flashbangs she had created shorty after walking into the forest were attached to the slot on her pants designed for keeping grenades. The sky was clear for now as she couldn't seen any clouds of smoke or clouds of Mustard's sleeping gas as the operation hasn't begun, yet.
She knew it wouldn't stay that way for long and knew the operation was only minutes away from starting, because most of the members of the Vanguard Action Squad have already contacted them and informed them they were in their assigned positions, waiting for the operation to start. She had to admit. The thought of this operation was making her feel a bit nervous again as she was afraid of ruining something, despise her job being only throwing a flashbang to blind Ragdoll after she and Gareth will find her.
She was taken out of her thoughts a few seconds later as Gareth paused in his tracks for a brief moment and held his right hand up, signalling her to stop. He whispered to her at the same time, "Stop."
"What is it?" Origami asked him quietly, not wanting want to allert anyone of their presence if Gareth noticed someone in their way as she stopped right behind him.
"Get down." Gareth replied, crouching down as Origami nodded in understanding and crouched down, doing as she was instructed.
"Did you noticed someone in the area?" She asked him as Gareth slowly made his way towards the bushes in front of them.
"Yes." Gareth nodded in confirmation as he stopped in front of the bushes and set his attention on the area in front of them.
Origami followed him to the bushes, stopping next to him and saw a green haired woman who was wearing clothes that made her look like a catgirl. She shifted her gaze to him for a second and looked at him questioningly, "Is that her?"
"Yes. I immediately recognized her from the pictures I saw when I and Tomura-kun were planning this attack." Gareth gave her another nod of confirmation as he reached his hand towards his earpiece, "I'll contact the rest and let them know we located our target." He gestured towards the bushes around them with his head, aware how much noise they can make if they won't be careful between them, "Be careful not to make too much noise as it may allert her of our presence her."
"Okay." Origami replied.
"Good thing there's no one else around. It just makes our job easier." Gareth stated as he looked around himself again, trying to see if there were other people in the area aside from him, Origami and Ragdoll. There weren't.
"Toga-chan did say she observed students having a test of courage in the forest." Origami reminded Gareth, "Perhaps she is waiting here for the students in here in order to scare them."
"Most likely." Gareth nodded in agreement before contacting the rest of the squad through his earpiece, "Everyone. This is the Mask. I and Weaponsmith managed to locate Ragdoll. The two of us are ready to begin. What about the rest of you? Are you ready to start or are you still moving towards your assigned positions?" When no one from the squad voiced to him they weren't ready to start, he took that as a sign that they should begin to start this operation, "Okay. Dabi. Mustard. You know what to do."
"On it." Dabi replied.
"I'm releasing gas into the forest right now." Mustard replied, "Don't be suprised if you'll come across a few sleeping students."
"Are we finally starting? How exciting!" Toga's excited voice sounded in Gareth's earpiece, "I just set my eyes on the two students. I can't wait to get the blood from them, especially the brown haired girl~!"
"We're starting? Great. It's time for us to make Stain's dream a reality." Spinner said
Gareth took his hands off the earpiece and titled his head to the side to look at Origami before whispering to her, "Are you ready?"
"Yes." Origami lifted up her right hand to show him she had her flashbang in ready. She looked up towards the sky and saw that it wasn't clear anymore, seeing a cloud of smoke from Dabi's fire above her. She set her eyes on Ragdoll again a second later, ready to pull the pin of her grenade at any moment, "Let know know when to throw it."
Gareth nodded at Origami as he watched Ragdoll's every activity, waiting for the perfect moment for him and Origami to attack her. The perfect moment he was waiting for came a few seconds later as Ragdoll became alarmed by the cloud of smoke above her and moved her hand up to contact the other Pro-Heroes present at the training camp. He knew it was the perfect moment to attack her as he doubted she would be able to avoid the explosion of the flashbang even if she noticed him and Origami.
"Now." He told Origami to begin her attack.
Origami nodded at him, getting herself into a standing position as she removed the pin from the flashbang and threw the greande towards Ragdoll. The grenade landed right in front of Ragdoll as Ragdoll looked down at it, her eyes widening the moment she realized what it was. Unfortunately for her, she was unable to leave the range of the explosion in time as the grenade exploded just a second later, blinding her completely.
Gareth nodded to himself upon seeing the explosion of the grenade, because he knew it time for him to do his part of capturing Ragdoll as the explosion of the flashbang made Ragdoll cover her eyes. He stood up and moved out of the bushes towards Ragdoll, red energy circling around his clenched hands. Ragdoll uncovered her eyes a few seconds later after regaining her vision but she didn't get to enjoy the feeling of having her vision again for long as the first thing she saw was Gareth swinging his red energy covered fist right at her face the second he catched up to her.
Ragdoll didn't have any chance to avoid Gareth's punch as Gareth's fist collided with her face. She stumbled backwards the moment Gareth punched her in the face, barely managing to keep herself on her feet, because of how firm the punch was as Gareth delivered another firm punch to her face. It was enough to knock her down to the ground. Ragdoll landed on the ground as Gareth stood over her.
"...Ragdoll! This is Mandalay! Are you in there? The villains are here! We're under attack..." Mandalay's voice echoed from Ragdoll's cat ear shaped headphones as she tried to contact her fellow Pro-Hero shorty after the green haired Pro-Heroine landed on the ground, unaware of what happened to her.
"...M-Mandalay..." Ragdoll weakly called out to the person calling out for her through the headphones, hoping she would hear her as Gareth reached down for the headphones and took them off her head as he realized she was trying to contact the other Pro-Heroes through them and knew it would be better if she lost her means of communication with the rest, "...They attacked me..."
Gareth threw the headphones on the ground and crushed them with his boot as Origami came out of the bushes and walked over to him with a questioning look on her face, "Can I ask you something, Mask?"
"Of course. What is it?" Gareth replied with a question of his own.
"Why did you destroyed her headphones?" Origami questioned, even though she already suspected why he did this. She just wanted to be sure if she thought right, "Was she someone trying to contact her through them?"
"Yes." Gareth nodded in confirmation, "She started calling out for someone and I didn't want to risk her contacting the rest and telling them about the two of us. I managed to overhear someone on the other side saying something about the villains attacking them before I destroyed them."
"Spinner and Magne must have started their assault." Origami stated, understanding what it meant.
Gareth nodded in agreement as he set his attention on Ragdoll again, "Hello. You're Ragdoll, right? Your Quirk is Search. Am I right? My Sensei has taken an interest in it."
Ragdoll slowly lifted her gaze up from the ground and looked between the two villains standing over her, feeling like she was on the verge of losing consciousness, She set her eyes on Gareth after a second, the masked villain being the only from the two she had recognized, "...Y-You're the Mask from the League of Villains. The League of Villains are the ones who attacked us?"
"Yes." Gareth gave her a short and quick confirmation and punched her in the face for the third time, knocking her out. The black haired boy touched his earpiece right after knocking out Ragdoll, his eyes not leaving the unmoving unconscious body of the green haired woman as the red energy disappeared from his hands, "Kurogiri. This is the Mask."
"...Yes?" Kurogiri's voice sounded in Gareth's earpiece a second later, "Why are you contacting me, Mask? Have you came across an inconvience during our operation or have you and Weaponsmith finished your task?"
"Don't worry. We didn't come across any problem. I and Weaponsmith came across Ragdoll and managed to knock her out." Gareth explained, "It doesn't seem like she will wake up anytime soon. You can transport her into our hideout."
"Understood. I'm opening the warp gate right now." Kurogiri said as a portal opened itself where Ragdoll's unconscious body was laying and or rather used to lay because her body fell through the portal and landed on the other side of it, "I brought her into our hideout. I and Shigaraki Tomura are looking at her right now. We'll deliver her to Master right away. Good job, you two."
"Thank you, Kurogiri." Gareth replied, "I'm leaving now to take care of our main objective. Weaponsmith will start heading towards our escape point right now."
"Very well." Kurogiri replied before disconnecting, ending his exchange of the words with Gareth.
"We should inform the rest about us catching Ragdoll." Origami stated after seeing how Gareth ended his conversation with Kurogiri as Gareth nodded in agreement, not taking hand off his earpiece as it was the next thing he was planning to do.
"Everyone. This is the Mask. I and Weaponsmith managed to catch Ragdoll without any problems." The black haired boy informed the members of the Vanguard Action Squad about him and Origami completing their task right after Ragdoll was taken out of the forest by Kurogiri's portal, "Mr. Compress. Muscular. Moonfish. I'm heading right now to help you in your search for Bakugo. Has any of you spotted him or are you still looking for him?"
"Very well. I'll be keeping my eyes open for you if we will come across each other in our paths." Mr. Compress' voice replied a second later, "To answer your question I am yet to stumble upon our objective."
"Didn't caught target. Looking for him. Right now." Moonfish's voice replied right after Mr. Compress'.
"What about you Muscular? Have you spotted Bakugo?" Gareth called out for the only one from the three who haven't responded to his question about Bakugo. When he didn't receive any answer from Muscular, he tried to call out for him again, "Muscular? Are you there?" He was once again met with complete silence from Muscular in response, "Muscular? Can you hear me?"
It was to no avail as Muscular once again didn't answer to him calling out for took his hand off his earpiece instead of calling out for him for the fourth time as he didn't want to spend too much time calling out for him. He instead wanted to spend this time looking for Bakugo and hopefully finding his ex-classmate before the time for him and the rest of th squad to go back to the hideout will come.
He turned around to look at Origami, "This is where part ways. I'll be heading out to find Bakugo now."
"Okay." Origami nodded at him, turning away from him, "Then I'm off to our escape point."
Gareth watched her walk away for a few seconds before calling out for her as he felt like he had to say something to her before they will part ways, "Weaponsmith."
Origami stopped in her tracks and looked over her shoulder at him, "Yes?"
Gareth smiled behind his mask, the eyelids of his mask showing two gladdened emoticons, "Good job."
Origami blushed slightly at the compliment as she glanced to the side to stop Gareth from seeing her blush, "I didn't do much. All I did was throwing a flashbang to blind her. You did the rest."
"It still doesn't change the fact you did good. There was a chance Ragdoll would have noticed us if you didn't blind her with your flashbang and if she noticed us, there was a chance she would have contacted the other heroes present at the camp." Gareth told her as Origami looked back at him with a smile on he face, "Watch out for each other when you'll be making your way to our escape point."
"I will." Origami gave him an assuring nod, her smile not leaving her face, "We'll see each other at our escape point."
The two of them gave each other one last look before walking in the opposite directions, parting ways to either take care of their other part in the plan in Gareth's case or to make their way to their escape point in Origami's case.
A few minutes had passed since Origami parted ways with Gareth. The dark green haired girl continued to make her way towards the escape point where she and the rest of the squad were planning to met up after finishing their jobs from where Kurogiri would bring them back into the hideout. She made sure to take a route where she would stay hidden among the bushes and trees, because she knew she there was a possibility of her coming across some students on her way to her destination and she preferred to stay hidden just in cast if it will happen.
She covered her face and noise with her left hand, having entered another part of the forest as she knew exactly what kind of the forest she had just entered, continuing to make her way towards her destination. This part of the forest was where Mustard was supposed to release his sleeping gas to put the students to sleep and she didn't want to be put to sleep by it, like many U.A students most likely were.
She looked around herself upon entering this part of the forest, trying to see where the sleeping gas was right now and much to her confusion and suprise, she couldn't spot any sleeping gas around her.
"Why isn't there any gas in the air?" She thought to herself, her expression showing a mixture of confusion and question as she stopped in her tracks. She looked around herself to make sure if her eyes were playing a trick on her. They weren't. There really wasn't any gas around her. This finding got her quite worried, "This is earlier than we planned. Something must have happened. Now. Where was Mustard's assigned position?..."
She turned in the direction of Mustard's last known location upon reminding herself where it was and uncovered her mouth and her nose, having no need to keep them covered for any longer if there wasn't any sleeping gas around her. She pushed herself into a run towards her new destination, knowing she had to hurry if she wanted to check it and reach the escape point in time.
She spent the next few moments running through the forest, feeling herself slowly becoming out of breath the further she ran into the forest. She kept her eyes wide open on her surroundings, knowing the possibility of a U.A student just walking into her view or her running into someone's view just became bigger. Whoever was responsible for making Mustard unable of keeping this part of the forest covered in the sleeping gas was most likely still around.
The girl with a dark green hair slowed down a bit after she got close to Mustard's last known location, managing overhead two voices, one male and one female to be exact, talking in the distance. Whoever they were, they must have been responsible for the lack of the sleeping gas in this part of the forest. She crouched down and quietly walked over to the two unknown voices.
She stopped in her tracks among the bushes from where she could get a good look at the place from which the two voices came from. The first thing she saw upon setting her eyes on the area were two students. She remembered them from the time when she and Gareth watched the U.A's Sports Festival Together. Their name were Kendo Itsuka and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu.
They weren't the only people she noticed in this area, though. It didn't took her long to notice Mustard. Her fellow villain was laying on the ground. His face was visible as his gas-mask was broken into pieces, probably by Kendo and Tetsutetsu. Origami clenched her right hand after taking a good look at the scene in front of her. It seemed like her prediction to why there wasn't any sleeping gas in this part of the forest was correct.
She knew she could just walk away from the scene and return to what she was doing before she noticed lack of sleeping gas in the area, resulting in the two U.A students never knowing she was here and saw them standing over a defeated Mustard, but she knew she couldn't do it. Mustard may have treated like her and the rest of the League the way he did but he was still a member of the League and they needed him and his Quirk for the future. She still remembered what she had promised herself on the day when Stain was brought into the bar by Kurogiri. She was not going to back down out of fear like she did when Stain attacked Shigaraki.
She knew she couldn't just rush it without any planning. It would be too risky. She knew she couldn't let herself think of a way to approach Kendo and TetsuTetsu for long as she knew how low she was on time right now. She knew she had to watch out around Tetsutetsu as she saw him use his Quirk during the sports festival and knew her katana would be useless against it.
She looked around herself and saw a small stick laying next to her. She picked it up and eyed it. She couldn't make it into a gun. It was too small. She could only make a small knife out of it. She nodded to herself. She could still use it. She turned it into a small knife and looked around herself for the second time, wanting to know if there was something else she could use around her.
It didn't took her long to notice a rock. She nodded to herself. Perfect. It was when she got an idea on how she could approach Kendo and Tetsutetsu in an attempt to saving Mustard from being caught. She didn't change into it any grenade, though. She planned to use it in some other way. She still had one flashbang grenade left too. She put the rock in the pocket of her pants, intending to put to good use later.
She nodded her head to herself. She had everything she needed to put the plan she had come up in a matter of several seconds in action. She knew how risky of a plan it was as it could have easily resulted in her getting captured alongside Mustard, but she didn't have much time to come up with something better.
"I'm sorry if I'll get caught. Thank you for not treating me like a monster." She thought herself, internally voicing her apologies to the people who started to consider her their friend during her time in the League just in case if her plan will end up failing.
She let out a soft nervous exhale as she stood up into a standing position and pulled out the flashbang grenade. She removed the pin and threw it towards Kendo and Tetsutetsu. The two said students became heard how the flasbang landed on the ground not too far from them and became allerted by it but unfortunely for them didn't have enough time to react as the flashbang exploded just as they found out what it was.
The explosion of the grenade blinded Kendo and Tetsutesu, making them cover their eyes as Origami rushed out of the bushes, knowing it was time to put the other part of her plan into action. She quickly ran over to Tetsutetsu and pushed him away from Kendo, wanting him to be in the distance from her and Kendo when she will be fighting his fellow student from the hero course.
Tetsutetsu stumbled backwards after getting pushed by Origami, not seeing her as he vision was still blinded from the flashbangs explosion as Origami pushed him away again, wanting him to be a far away from him from her and Kendo as possible. She knew the distance won't be big, considering the place they were in right now, but it will be distance nevertheless. After seeing how the effects of the flashbang were slowly starting to wear off of Kendo and Tetsutetsu, she moved away from the latter towards the former.
The first thing Kendo saw after uncovering her eyes was a girl with a dark green hair unsheathing her katana and swinging it at her. She quickly ducked out of the way, enlarging her hands as she did so. She swung her enlarged right hand at Origami as Origami quickly dodged it, remembering all the times she was hit by a training dummy during her training sessions with Gareth.
Origami titled her head to the side as she heard someone running towards her and saw Tetsutesu making his way towards her. She nodded her head to herself, knowing what she should do now. She pulled out the small knife she created shorty before beginning her attack on Kendo and Tetsutesu and threw it at him, hoping she threw it right as she wouldn't call herself an expert when it came to throwing knives.
Seeing the knife flying towards him, Tetsutetsu stopped in his tracks and tried to move his arm to swat it out of the air. Using the fact Tetsutesu was too occupied by the knife she had thrown at him, Origami went back to her attack on Kendo as Kendo tried to punch her again. Seeing a large hand coming her way, Origami quickly lifted her katana up a bit, with the sharp pointy end of it pointed upwards.
Kendo's right hand moved along the sharp part of Origami's katana as Kendo didn't have enough time to react to Origami lifting it up to her enlarged hand. The orange haired girl grunted in pain as her hand got cut by Origami's katana. It was when Tetsutesu swatted the small knife Origami threw at him and saw what just happened to his classmate. He called out her name in worry as Kendo moved her right hand to herself, beginning to clutch the cut on it with her left as Origami gained the upper hand in her clash with her.
She knew her upper hand was not going to last long, though as she knew Tetsutetsu was heading her way to help his swung her katana at Kendo a few times, making the orange haired girl back away from her with each swing she had directed towards her and looked over her shoulder to see where Tetsutetsu was right now. Tetsutetsu clenched his hand and swung his fist at Origami as Origami moved backwards, managing to dodge his strike in time.
Tetsutetsu leaped towards Origami, making sure the villain's attention was on him while Kendo's hand went back to their normal sizes as she continued to clutch her cut. Tetsutetsu glared at Origami as he swung his fists at her in an attempt of hitting her and knocking her to the ground. Origami kept her eyes on his fists as he continued his assault to know when she had make a dodge.
Origami clenched her teeth as she dodged another attack from Tetsutetsu and nodded to herself, finally finding an opening and an opportunity to strike back. She swung her katana at Tetsutetsu as the U.A student didn't do much about it. In fact, he quickly used what Origami just did to his advantage. He knocked Origami's katana out her grasp as Origami's eyes widened after feeling how she lost her grip on her weapon.
She backed away from Tetsutesu, seeing how her katana landed on the ground out of her reach. Tetsutetsu was strong, really strong and his Quirk made her katana completely useless. She knew she made the right choice at the start of the fight by focusing on Kendo. She knew she shouldn't think about it right now as she knew she was completely defensless against Tetsutetsu without her katana.
She reached into her pocket and pulled out her rock, tightening her grip around it. She knew what was about to happen and didn't want to be knocked out of her grasp just like her katana was. Tetsutetsu leaped towards her and grabbed her by her shoulders, bringing her down to the ground. He got himself on top of her, pinning her to the ground to make sure she won't try to get away as Origami suprisingly didn't look too nervous about getting caught as the rock didn't fell out of her grasp when she collided with the ground.
"I got her!" Tetsutetsu shouted to Kendo, letting her know he had captured the villain who just attacked them as Kendo nodded and walked over to him, clutcing her wounded hand, "Didn't know there was more of them here."
"She must have come here to check on him and saw he was defeated by us. She must have been trying to get back him." Kendo voiced her theory about Origami as she looked down at the villain Tetsutetsu had pinned to the ground, allowing herself to take a better look at this villain who rushed out of the woods and attacked her and Tetsutetsu. Her eyes slightly widened. The girl who was one of the villains that attacked their camp looked to be around her age, "You're no older than me and Tetsutetsu. Why would someone as young as you turn to villainy?"
"You want to know why? I'm here for the Mask!" Origami replied to the question she was just asked by the U.A student, clutching her hand around the rock she took out of her pokcet before Tetsutetsu captured her, "I'm here for the only one person who reached his hand out to me when nobody else would! The only one person who took pity on me when everyone else just ignored me and what was she doing to me! I'm here to help him create a better society where people won't be turning blind eye to things like this!"
As soon as those words left Origami's mouth, the rock she was holding in her right hand had transformed itself into a flashbang grenade. Kendo and Tetsutestu felt how their eyes widened in complete suprise as Origami removed the pin from the grenade she had just created. The grenade exploded before either of the students could react to Origami's suprise move in any way. The two U.A students were forced to bring their hands up to their eyes and they were once again blinded during this fight, Tetsutetsu freeing Origami from his grasp as he did so.
They uncovered their eyes a few seconds later, having regained their vision. They looked around themselves, trying to spot either of the villains they managed to catch, but they were nowhere to be seen. They completely vanished. Origami was gone and so was Mustard. Origami's katana was gone from where it was laying few seconds earlier as well. Origami had used the fact they were blinded by the explosion of the flashbang to her advantage and had fleed from the scene with unconscious Mustard. What made everything worse was the fact they didn't even know where they should start looking for them as they could have gone in every direction.
Origami let out a deep breath, feeling how she was slowly becoming out of breath as she continued to make her way away from where Kendo and Tetsutetsu almost caught her and Mustard. She looked over her shoulder, trying to see if the two students were chasing her and Mustard. She breathed a sigh of relief. They weren't. Her plan with using the flashbang grenade on them must have worked. She didn't stop running for a few more moments, though as she wanted to make sure they weren't going to catch up to her and Mustard.
She stopped in her tracks after reaching the distance between her and the two U.A students which she considered safe. She let out another deep breath, trying to catch her breath as she took Mustard off her shoulder and gently set him on the ground, intending to wake him up before they will move further into the forest. She knew she had to hurry when it came to waking him up as she wanted to reach the escape point as soon as possible.
She grabbed him by his shoulder and gently shook him in an attempt to wake him up, but iit to no avail as Mustard didn't regain his consciousness, just like she hoped he would. She shook him again, this time she did this much quicker with as she knew doing it gently wouldn't work when it came to waking him up from his slumber. Her efforts at waking him up ultimately paid off as Mustard's eyes slowly opened.
"...W-What? Where am I?" Mustard asked himself in confusion as he lifted his right hand up and placed it against his cheek, feeling the bruise he had on it. It didn't took him long to notice Origami. His eyes widened in suprise as soon as he spotted her, "...W-Weaponsmith? What happened? What are you doing here? The last thing I remember in getting attacked and knocked out by two U.A students."
"I was on my to the escape point when I noticed there wasn't any sleeping gas in the area." Origami began explaining everything to Mustard, "I went to check on you and saw you were unconscious and there were two students standing over you. I quickly formed a plan what to do next and attacked them. It was very risky and I got really lucky, but everything worked out in the end."
Mustard looked at her with a suprised look on his face as he didn't answer to her explanation right away. He was just completely suprised by the fact Origami went to his rescue, especially after he treated her ever since he joined the League. He had to admit. The fact she came to his rescue, despise how he was treating her was starting to make him regret the way he behaved towards everyone in the League.
"...I-I see." He gave her a short answer after a moment of staying silent as he glanced to the side, not wanting her to see the regretful look he had on his face right.
Origami nodded at him as she got up from the ground, "Let's go." She placed her right hand on her sheathed katana. She was really glad she managed to grab it before leaving the scene with Mustard, "We need to head to the escape point."
"Yeah. Let's go." Mustard replied as he slowly got himself back on his feet. He nodded at her, letting Origami know he was capable of going there on his feet. Origami nodded back at him as she turned in the direction of the escape point, beginning to make her way towards it. Mustard followed her as he clutched his bruised cheek again. He called out a few moments later, feeling like there was something he had to say to her, "Weaponsmith."
Origami looked over her shoulder at him, "Yes?"
"I feel like I need to thank you for saving me." Mustard revealed what he was thinking to Origami with an apologetic look on his face as Origami continued to look at him, "You had no reason to safe me from being captured by those students. You could have just walked away and yet, you did otherwise. I wasn't exactly the best to you or to everyone else in the League since we've met."
"We're working together now, aren't we?" Origami replied to Mustard's apology as she smiled at him, showing him she had accepted his apology, "We should look after each other, right?"
Mustard slowly nodded his head, the words Origami told him back when they met each other for the first time flying through his head, "Yeah..."
Gareth looked around himself, keeping his eyes open for Bakugo as he continued to make his way through the forest. A few minutes had passed since he parted ways with Origami to do his other task in the plan and he didn't come across his Bakugo, yet. He knew his ex-classmate wasn't captured by anyone else who tasked with capturing him as he didn't hear anyone report his capture in his earpiece.
"...Flesh! Pieces of meat!" A voice sounded in the distance, making him stop in his tracks. It didn't took Gareth long to recognize this voice. He may have not known this person for long, but he knew axactly who it was. It was Moonfish. His voice was followed by the sound of someone screaming, but Gareth couldn't understand what they were saying and the sound of blades cutting through something.
Realizing Moonfish must have gotten himself into a fight with someone and was using his Quirk during this fight with someone, Gareth quickly pushed himself into a run towards the source of the screams and he wanted to see what was happening right now and if he was right about Moonfish fighting someone right now. He couldn't think of any other reason why he heard the blades cutting through something.
He arrived at the scene a few moments later. He stopped in his tracks behind a tree and looked around himself to see what was happening around him. He saw his theory about Moonfish being a a fight with someone was true as Moonfish sent a dozen of tooth blades towards whoever he was fighting with right now. Gareth got the answer to who was fighting with Moonfish right now as a wall of ice was summoned in an attempt to stop them.
Gareth immediately realized it must have been Todoroki as he couldn't think of any other student or a teacher present at the camp who was able to summoning walls of ice. Moonfish's blades turned out to be stronger than Todoroki's ice as the blades pierced through the ice, breaking it into pieces. The wall of ice being destroyed by Moonfish allowed Gareth to see Moonfish wasn't fighting with just Todoroki. He saw Bakugo. A wave of anger went through his wave when he saw Bakugo. He did his best to brush it away as he didn't want his personal feelings about Bakugo to affect him. Todoroki had some student on his back, but Gareth didn't paid much attention to him, because this student was sleeping and wasn't his objective.
"Teeth attacks? Seriously? It's time to blast this freak with everything we've got!" Bakugo shouted after dodging Moonfish's attack as he was sick of not fighting back against this villain.
Gareth nodded his head to himself, knowing it was his time to move out of the bushes and to attack. Bakugo was here and it was his capture to do his task of catching him. He ran out of the bushes into Todoroki and Bakugo's view, feeling how red energy started to circle around his hands. Bakugo and Todoroki instantly noticed the masked villain running out of the bushes to aid his fellow villain.
"Another villain?" Todoroki narrowed his eyes at Gareth, feeling like he had seen him somewhere before. A few seconds had to pass until he realized where he had seen Gareth before, "Isn't that?..."
"It's the masked shithead from the USJ!" Bakugo cut him off as a grin grew on his face, despise what was happening around him, almost as if he was looking forward to fighting with Gareth again.
"Moonfish!" Gareth called out for the cannibal villain, wanting to focus his entire attention on just getting Bakugo, "Goof job at finding Bakugo. I'll try to knock out objective. Keep the other one away from me!"
"Understood!" Moonfish answered, his voice slightly muffled, "Meat of the other one will be mine! Mine!"
"You're after me, aren't you?" Bakugo asked as Gareth stepped to the side, not wanting to find himself in the middle of Moonfish's blade attacks , "What does you shitty organization even want from me?"
"Was capturing Bakugo your goal all along?" Todoroki asked, "Is this why you attacked us?"
"Tomura-kun will explain everything to you after we will capture you." Gareth replied as he stepped closer to Bakugo.
"If you will catch me." Bakugo replied, readying himself to launch himself into the air, "I've been looking forward to this rematch ever since you escaped the USJ! Don't even think you will flee from the fight this time like a coward like the last time, you shithead!"
"Bakugo! Don't!..." Todoroki's words were ignored by Bakugo as Bakugo launched himself towards Gareth. The white and red haired boy didn't get a chance to finish what he was saying as Moonfish launched another blade attack towards him. Normally he was calm in situation such as this one but Bakugo's constant complaining of not going all out on Moonfish was really wearing down his patience. He managed to stop his classmate from rushing towards Moonfish, but in the end was not able to stop Bakugo from rushing at the masked villain from the USJ.
Seeing Bakugo heading his way, Gareth's reaction to it was immediate. He used his Quirk to make himself float in the air. He used two hands to make himself float in the air as he didn't want to attack Bakugo right away. He wanted to wait for a good opportunity to strike him before using his Quirk to attack him. Bakugo reached him shorty after he made himself float in the air and readied himself to blast him with his Quirk.
Gareth quickly moved out of Bakugo's way as Bakugo blasted the air instead of him. The area surrounding Bakugo and Gareth was covered with smoke as Bakugo looked towards where Gareth had fleed from his blast. The next thing he saw was Gareth flying out from the smoke cloud. The masked villain clenched his right hand, readying himself to punch Bakugo as he now used only his left fist to keep himself in the air.
Bakugo moved to the side, managing to dodge Gareth's fist in time as quickly held his hand in front of him, causing another explosion to go off. The explosion knocked Gareth backwards a bit, but Gareth quickly collected himself, knowing he didn't have anytime to keep himself off guard right now. He saw Bakugo launching himself closer to him, with the intention of repeating this action.
Gareth knew he had to act fast in this situation. He moved to the side before Bakugo could reach him, but didn't wait for Bakugo to blast the air again. He instead swung his fist at him with the intention of delivering a firm punch to his face, but unfortunely for him his attempt was for nothing as Bakugo managed to dodge his attack in time. He didn't stop his assault there.
He swung his fist at him again, this time managing to deliver a punch to his face. Bakugo was sent backwards by the punch and had to blast himself a bit to stop himself from falling to the ground as Gareth tried to hit him with a ball of red energy instead of trying to punch him again. The masked villain decided to use the opportunity given to him by his successful punch and used this time to form a ball of red energy.
Seeing the ball coming his way, Bakugo blasted himself to the side to dodge as he didn't want to risk getting knocked down from it. He already got almost knocked down to the ground by Gareth's punch and he didn't want it happening again. He wanted to be the one to knock Gareth to the ground. Not the other way around. He knew exactly how to accomplish this and he was going to put this plan into action.
He quickly blasted himself towards Gareth as Gareth did the same thing he did everytime when Bakugo got closer to him by launching himself towards him. The masked villain moved to the side, not wanting Bakugo to crash into him. It wasn't enough, though as Bakugo wasn't done with launching himself towards him. The blond haired boy launched himself towards him again and this time Gareth didn't have enough time to dodge him.
Bakugo crashed right into Gareth as Gareth was sent backwards a bit. The masked villain quickly collected himself and swung his fist at Bakugo, knowing he didn't have time to make another ball of red energy in this situation. Bakugo moved his head backwards to prevent Gareth's fist from colliding with his face and grabbed him by the front of hoodie with his right hand before the masked villain could make any other move.
"You're going down, shithead!" He shouted to his opponent he held his left hand out towards Gareth and blasted him with his Quirk, making sure it was the largest explosion he did ever since he started his fight with Gareth.
Gareth was sent to the ground by the explosion, feeling how his mask was knocked away by the explosion as Bakugo watched him go down with a grin on his face, despise not seeing how it happened as a cloud of smoke prevented him from watching Gareth go down. He quickly started getting himself to the ground, wanting to land on the ground around the same time as the masked villain.
"Now! Show me how you look like you asshole!" The blond haired teen shouted as he landed on the ground on the same time as Gareth, his grin not leaving his face. If his explosion from earlier didn't knock Gareth's mask off his face, he could always blast him again. He turned towards where Gareth landed and his grin faded away from his face as soon as he set his eyes on him, "...No fucking way! It's you?!"
He shook his head with a shocked expression on his face the moment he saw the face of the Mask as Todoroki shifted his gaze towards him and Gareth after seeing how Gareth went flying down from the sky, managing to see the face of the Mask too. He immediately recognized this face as no other than Gareth Takemura. His hair may have been much shorter than it was the last time he saw him and he looked a year older but that still didn't stop him from recognizing it as his ex-classmate who went missing and was never seen again until now.
"...Shit." Gareth thought to himself, realizing Bakugo and Todoroki seeing his face meant the end of him keeping his identify a secret as he grabbed his mask from the ground and attached it to his shoulder before getting himself back on his feet.
"You know him?" Todoroki asked himself as he watched everything from where he stood, doing his best to dodge every attack directed at him by Moonfish. His question was ignored, though as Bakugo was too shocked and in too deep denial over who the Mask was to pay attention to him.
"No. This is bullshit. Pure bullshit. It can't be you! You can't be him! You can't be Mutt!" The blond haired teen shouted in denial, trying to delude himself the teenager in front of him was not Gareth as Todoroki looked at him with a slightly suprised look on his face. The fact Bakugo knew the Mask clearly took him by suprise, "Mutt was a useless Quirkless coward! He was a crybaby who never stood up to anyone and always hid behind Deku! You can't be him!"
"It's me, Bakugo." Gareth didn't deny his identify from Bakugo as he knew denying it wouldn't work, even if Bakugo was trying to delude himself. His voice twisted into a more angered one, feeling how the anger he felt towards Bakugo for all this time was slowly starting to get the best of him, "What? Too shocked to find out it was me for this whole time? Or did you forget about me? Did you forget about a useless Quirkless nobody like me? Or were you excepting to be dead at this point? You do remember what you told me the last time you saw me, right?"
"Shut up! You goddamn Mutt! Shut the fuck up!" Bakugo shouted, doing his best to break himself out of shocked state as he swung his fist at Gareth, intending to blast him again and knock him out.
Gareth moved out of the way of Bakugo's punch, knowing it would result in him getting knocked out and instantly striked back. He clenched his hand, feeling how red energy was covering it and delivered a firm punch to Bakugo's face. Bakugo clenched his teeth, feeling like he was receive a bruise from this punch as he quickly released a large explosion in the area, sending Gareth backwards a bit.
Gareth quickly regained his balance in his feet and charged towards Bakugo held his hand in front of himself and released another explosion. The explosion didn't have the effect he desired it to have as Gareth jumped out of the smoke and landed in front of him. The black haired boy glared at him and grabbed him by his outstretched hand, throwing him to the ground.
Bakugo looked up at Gareth as Gareth formed a ball of red energy, with the intention of throwing it at him. Gareth threw the ball right at him as Bakugo rolled itself out of it's way just in time, making the ball hit the tree behind him instead. He quickly got himself back on his feet, not wanting to give Gareth enough time to create another ball of energy as he was how his ex-classmate was about to start creating another one.
He charged towards Gareth, already ready to blast him with his Quirk and released an explosion, just like he planned to. Gareth was sent backwards by the explosion, landing on the ground in the process and slided across the ground. He let out a deep breath, doing his best from cringing from pain as he felt like he received a cut or two from sharp rocks he hit when sliding across the ground.
He looked up and saw Bakugo running towards him with an obvious intention of finishing his job. He quickly got himself back on his feet and waited for Bakugo to get closer to him before swinging his red energy covered fist at him. Bakugo grabbed his hand before it could hit him in the face, blocking his attack and looked straight into Gareth's eyes, glaring at him.
Gareth headbutted him, making Bakugo release his hand from his grasp and kicked him the stomach. Bakugo clenched his teeth, stopping himself from letting out a gasp for breath as Gareth swung his fist at him again. This time, Bakugo didn't react to his attack in time and didn't dodge it. The red energy covered fist hit him straight in the face, making him stumble backwards.
Bakugo collected himself and his eyes widened as he saw a ball of red energy flying right at him after Gareth threw it at him. The ball of red energy crashed into him, making him fly backwards. He slammed right into a tree behind him and looked up at Gareth. He didn't get up from the ground and try to attack Gareth right after, though as he decided to approach Gareth in some other way.
He launched himself into the air and blasted himself towards Gareth as Gareth quickly used his Quirk to make himself float after seeing this. Bakugo held his hand in front of him, already ready to blast his ex-classmate as Gareth readied himself for Bakugo to approach him, having figured out how to handle the rest of the fight with Bakugo and how to end it with his victory.
Bakugo released an explosion from his right hand the moment he reached Gareth as Gareth moved out of the explosion's way when he saw Bakugo get closer to him. A cloud of smoke engulfed the area around them as Gareth flied out of the cloud of smoke, with his right hand ready to punch his opponent. Bakugo got himself ready to dodge the attack, excepting Gareth to punch him.
His eyes widened in suprise as Gareth didn't punch him and instead grabbed him by his right shoulder. He made himself and Bakugo float into the woods away out of Moonfish and Todoroki's eyes. Todoroki cried out after his classmate after he saw Gareth take him out of his view, but didn't receive any answer from him. After flying in the forest, Gareth quickly stopped using his left hand to make himself float and grabbed Bakugo by his left shoulder.
He looked straight into Bakugo's eyes and Bakugo looked straight into his eyes as the two of them started falling down to the ground.. The two of them glared at each other before Gareth let go off Bakugo's shoulders and pressed his legs against stomach. He kicked Bakugo in the stomach with both of his lands to make sure he will land on the ground faster than him as this action separated Bakugo from him.
Bakugo landed on the ground with a loud thud as Gareth used his red energy covered right hand to slow himself mid-air a little not make sure his landing won't be rough. He landed in front of Bakugo and clenched his right hand, wanting to end this fight now. He glared at Bakugo for one last time before bringing his right hand down on his face. He punched him one more time a second later, knocking him out.
Gareth let out a deep breath after ending his fight with Bakugo as he continued to look at the unconscious of his opponent. He let out another deep breath, trying to make the thoughts of anger he felt towards Bakugo go away as he promised himself to not allow his personal feelings get in the way of creating a new better society. Thankfully, he managed to stop the anger from completely getting the best of him like it was starting to get shorty after Bakugo saw his face.
"Bravo." A voice and clapping sounded on his right side. He titled his head to the side to look at the source of it and saw Mr. Compress slowly clapping his hands, "What a splendid display, Mask! Your battle with our objective was a sight to see."
"You were watching our fight for this whole time?" Gareth asked him, letting out another deep breath to catch his breath.
"No. I would have stepped in if I arrived here sooner. I managed to witness all the interesting details, though." Mr. Compress replied as he walked over to Gareth and looked down at Bakugo, "I heard someone fighting in this area and went to check it in hopes of finding our objective. I had no idea you and our objective knew each other from the past. Is this why you and Shigaraki decided to target him?"
"No." Gareth shook his head, "Tomura-kun doesn't know about me and our main target having a history. The only person from the League who knows about it is Weaponsmith."
"Only she knows? I see. Can't say I'm suprised." Mr. Compress stated as Bakugo let out a groan, beginning to regain his consciousness, "It seems like he's regaining consciousness. I better put him in my compress before he completely wakes up."
"Yeah." Gareth nodded in agreement as Bakugo's eyes slowly opened, "Do it."
Mr. Compress put his hand on Bakugo, compressing him and Bakugo glowed a bright green light before there was nothing, but a blue marble left out of him, "I'll release him from it as soon as we will make it back to our hideout. I'm certain boss will be happy to see him. We should contact the rest and inform them we managed to catch our objective."
"I'll do it." Gareth replied, lifting his hand up to his earpiece as Mr. Compress nodded to him, putting the marble in his right pocket, "Everyone. This is the Mask. I and Mr. Compress caught Bakugo. I repeat. I and Mr. Compress caught Bakugo. If you didn't started heading towards our escape point, do it now." He took his hand off his earpiece and looked at Mr. Compress before pointing towards where Moonfish was fighting Todoroki, "Let's go. Moonfish is over here fighting of the students. Let's go get him and head to the escape point..."
His words got caught in his throat as he and Mr. Compress heard a loud crash coming from where Moonfight was fighting Todoroki right now. They were suprised by it as they didn't know what it was. There was one thing they were certain about, though. It didn't sound like blades cutting through the ice. It sounded like something else. Like something much bigger.
"What's going on?" Gareth asked with a confused look on his face.
"I don't know. I have to admit. I'm quite intrigued to find out what it is." Mr. Compress admitted, "I suspect those are the students who weren't put to sleep by Mustard's sleeping as. Whatever it was, it seems like Moonfish was unfortunate to find himself in it's way. Perharps we should go to check it out. We may end up finding something interesting."
"Put me in your compress before you will head there." Gareth said, having come up with a plan after Mr. Compress mentioned going there.
Mr. Compress looked at him, his mask hiding the suprised look on his face, "Why?"
"if those really are other students, the may end up noticing you and start chasing you. If the students will reach you, you will release me from the marble and this way we will take them by suprise." Gareth explained his idea to Mr. Compress.
Mr. Compress nodded in approval of the idea, "A fine idea, Mask. Talk about an element of suprise. If the students will not notice me or will not catch up to me after noticing me, I will release you from the marble upon reaching the escape point."
"Okay." Gareth nodded back at him, "Do it. We don't have much time."
Mr. Compress nodded at him as he reached his glowed hand towards Gareth and used his Quirk on him. Gareth glowed green light for a second before he was turned into a black marble. Mr. Compress picked up the marble and put it in his right pocket. He started to make his way towards where Moonfish was fighting Todoroki, arriving at the scene a few moments later.
Upon arriving at the scene, he saw a defeated Moonfish laying on the ground with a few students from U.A standing split up around the area. What caught his attention after arriving at the scene was a certain student with a black bird-shaped head...
A relieved sigh escaped Origami's lips as she and Mustard walked out of the bushes and trees, having just arrived at the escape point. The escape point was a small area of space where there wasn't any trees and bushes. Origami could see why this place was chosen to be the escape, considering how much free space there was in it for Kurogiri to open his portals for everyone.
The first thing she saw upon arriving at the escape point were two familiar faces from the League. She and Mustard weren't the first ones to arrive at the escape point. Dabi and Twice were. The two villains who were already present at the escape point turned around to look in their direction as they must have heard the noise she and Mustard made when they walked into the area. Origami and Mustard walked over to them and stopped in front of them.
"Look at this. Half the brats have arrived." Dabi frowned at the two teenagers as he eyed them carefully, quickly noticing the state Mustard was in. He narrowed his eyes at him, "Jeez. What happened to you? Your face is pretty fucked up."
"Like you're the one who can talk about having a fucked up face." Mustard rolled his eyes at Dabi's comment, "Two students attacked me. I would get captured if it Weaponsmith didn't notice there was something wrong and didn't arrive at the scene."
"You saved Mustard? Great work, Weaponsmith!" Twice gave Origami a thumbs up before giving her a thumbs down, "Why did you saved him? The guy is an asshole. He should try to save himself!"
Origami nodded at Twice with a slight smile on her face, "T-Thank you, Twice."
"I'm backkk~!" Toga's voice came from the woods, making the the four villain look in her directions.
"Great." Dabi said upon setting his eyes on Toga, annoyed by how loud she was being, "The crazy brat in back."
"Origami-chan!" Toga's face lit up when she saw her 'bestie' as she ran over to her and a gladdened look on her face, "You made it! Great! See? I knew you would handle yourself out there. Now we just need to wait for Gakkun and Big Sis Magne to come back~!"
"Can you save all this bullshit for yourself? You're making me sick." Dabi said with an annoyed look on his face, "Did you get the blood, you lunatic? How many people's worth?"
Toga smiled sweetly at him, "One person's worth!"
"Just one?!" Twice exclaimed as moved towards Toga, "Weren't you told to get at least three?"
"It couldn't be helped. I thought I was going to be killed." Toga replied nonchalantly.
Twice put his hand on chin as he examined Toga, "You're looking a little too happy right now. Strange. Shouldn't you be full of shame?"
Toga's smile widened at the thought of something as she grabbed her face with both of her face, "I made some friends and found a boy I'm interested in."
"Is it me? No thanks, babe. I love you too!" Twice said to Toga, doing a heart gesture with his hands.
She glanced at Origami, "Isn't that cool, Origami-chan? Now we'll be able to talk about our crushes during a sleepover like a real besties!"
Origami looked at her questioningly with a slight blush growing on her face upon hearing what Toga was suggesting, "W-What? What are you talking about what?"
"You like someone, Weaponsmith?' Twice asked, "Who is it? Is it me? If yes, then I'm flattered. Or is it Mustard. Is this why you saved him? Or is it the Mask? The two of you are spending a lot of time together."
Origami's blush grew bigger as soon as she heard Twice mention Gareth, "No!"
"All of you shut up." Dabi told his fellow villains to shush, "You're too loud and what did I said about keeping this bullshit to yourself?"
Mustard looked up towards the sky when he heard something coming from above him and his fellow villain. His eyes slightly widened when he realized he was hearing screams righ tnow, "Guys."
"What?" Dabi asked as he looked at him.
Mustard pointed upwards to clarify his point, "Listen."
Dabi continued to stare at Mustard with a questioning look on his face for a few more seconds before he heard a loud scream coming from above them. Twice, Mustard, Origami and Toga heard the scream too and looked up to see what was happening. Dabi followed their example. The scarred villain looked up at the sky and saw Mr. Compress falling down from the sky towards the ground with Izuku, Todoroki and Shoji on his back.
"...AHHHHH!" Mr. Compress screamed as he landed on the ground with a loud thud with Izuku, Todoroki and Shoji on his back, with the three students pinning him down to the ground.
"Give Kacchan and Tokoyami back to us!" Izuku screamed as Mr. Compress managed to free his right hand from their grasp and threw the black marble to the side, intending to release Gareth from it and have him help him with these students.
"Wait! I know these kids!" Twice shouted as he pointed at the students who were pinning Mr. Compress to the ground while Toga clenched her hands and lifted them up to her face as she grinned excitedly, "Who are they?"
Dabi immediately reacted to it as held out his hand with the intention of using his Quirk, blue fire slowly covering it, "Out of the way Compress."
Mr. Compress looked up at him and nodded in understanding, "Got it."
Mr. Compress' body glowed a bright green light and materialized out from under the kids as Dabi blasted out scorching hot blue flames from his hands towards the three students. It was when Gareth was released from the black marble. The black haired boy quickly looked around himself to get to know his surroundings better, immediately noticing what was happening around him. Izuku, Shoji and Todoroki split up from each other, the former two getting to feel the feat of the blue flames.
"Midoriya! Shoji!" Todoroki shouted to his classmates in worry for his classmate as he backed away from the flames, not knowing there was someone standing right behind him right now.
He stopped in his tracks a second later as he walked into someone behind him. He looked over his shoulder and much to his suprise saw Gareth standing behind him. He was taken by suprise by it as unmasked Gareth wasn't there a few seconds. From his perspective, he just appeared out of thin air. Gareth clenched his fist and lifted it up, red energy beginning to circle around it and and before Todoroki could react a red energy covered his went flying right at him. Gareth's fist collided with his head and the impact of it made him stumble forward.
Todoroki's reaction to Gareth attacking him was instant. He launched a wall of ice towards where Gareth was standing as Gareth quickly reacted to it, having already dealt with this kind of stuff back in the USJ. He quickly used both of his hands to lift himself up in the air, managing to avoid Todoroki's attack in time as the rest of the squad jumped into action.
"Faces from Shigaraki's kill list!" Twice leaped himself into air and extended the meassuring tape from one of his wristbands. Todoroki replied to his attack the same attack he replied to Gareth's. The red and white haired teen summoned a small iceberg to launch Twice out of the way.
"That's hot!" Twice exclaimed as Todoroki's ice launched him into the distance. He felt someone grab him by the back of his clothes before he could hit the ground.
He looked towards the person who grabbed him and saw Gareth. The black haired boy was holding him with his right hand, doing his best not to drop him on the ground as he did so as him being a teen and Twice being an adult clearly showed itself in the way he was carrying him. He looked around himself and quickly found a good place where he and Twice could land.
"Thanks, Mask!" Twice looked at Gareth and gave him a thumbs up, "I didn't need your help!"
The fire blasted at the students by Dabi died down a few seconds later and it allowed him to see which students were present at the scene. Unfortunely one of those people happened to be someone he wished he could avoid during this entire operation and unfortunely it didn't took this one person long to notice his presence. Izuku and Shoji quickly turned towards where they heard someone land and saw Gareth and Twice standing next to each other.
Izuku felt how the air almost left his lungs once he saw the face of the Mask, seeing who the masked villain from U.A was for all this time, immediately recognizing him as someone he knew pretty well and someone he hadn't seen in a long time, "...Gakkun?"
Shoji turned to his classmate, suprise evident in his eyes and in his voice, "You know this villain?"
"Gakkun?" Izuku's voice was filled with shock and disbelief, paying no attention to Shoji's question as there was only one thing on his mind right now, "Is that really you? Are you..." He paused for a second, forcing the next words out of his throat as he stared at his friend with pure shock written all over his face, "Are you working the League of Villains? Are you the Mask?"
"Hello Midoriya-kun." Gareth let out a short sigh before confirming his identify to Izuku, seeing no point in lying about it as he knew it wouldn't work, "I'm sorry you had to find out like this."
"Wait a second." Twice's tone betrayed how suprised he was, "You know this kid from Shigaraki's kill list?"
Izuku said nothing after Gareth confirmed himself to be the Mask to him, his shocked eyes glued to his friend. He broke himself out of his shocked state when he noticed a needling coming at his face. He watched as it retracted back to Toga who was running towards him.
Gareth looked at Twice after Toga distracted Izuku, thinking of a job for himself to make himself forget about Izuku finding out about him being the Mask for a seocnd, "I'll go get, Compress. His marble should be somewhere in that crater."
"Understood. I'll try to get our target from Shigaraki's kill list." Twice nodded at him in understanding. Gareth nodded back at him before running towards the crater as Twice charged towards Todoroki, now excepting him to use his ice attack on him.
"I'm Toga, Izuku!" The blond haired girl introduced herself to him with an excited look on her face as she continued to make her way towards Izuku. She jumped at him, bringing him to the ground. She got herself on top of him and pulled out her knife. Izuku's eyes widened the moment he saw her pull out her knife, "I thought so earlier too." Toga lifted up her knife, readying herself to stab Izuku, "But you'd be cooler if you bled more, Izuku!"
"Midoriya" Shoji yelled, knocking Toga away. The blond haired girl slided across the ground for a moment before flipping around and landing on her feet.
"Is that how it is?" Toga glared at Shoji, making a shiver go down his and Izuku's spine, "Are you going to get in the way?" She tightened her grip around her knife, readying herself to use it, "You're not my type at all, but I'll cut you anyway."
"She's insane." Shoji stated, his eyes set on the blond haired girl.
Gareth ran up to the crater where Mr. Compress landed a few moments ago and saw the marble laying in it glowing before turning itself back into Mr. Compress. Mr. Compress slowly got himself back on his feet, wiping the dust off his clothes.
"I can't believe they flew so far to chase after me." He stated as he walked out of the crater and looked at Gareth, "I see I managed to released from the marble in time." Gareth nodded at him and walked over to his side, the two of the starting to walk towards Dabi, "Good thing you came up with this idea otherwise they'd get us both in the air."
"So this is where you were. I was starting to think our leader got himself caught by one of those brats." Dabi said to Gareth as Gareth and Mr. Compress walked over to him, "Where is Bakugo?"
"Of course." Mr. Compress replied as he reached into his pocket to grab the marbles with the captures students. Much to his confusion and suprise couldn't feel or find any marbles in his pocket.
"Midoriya! Todoroki! We're running away!" Shoji shouted to his classmates, "He gave away his best trick. I don't know what your Quirk is, but inside that right pocket of yours that you kept flaunting." He got up from the ground and showed the two marbles Mr. Compress was looking for in his pocket, "Were these. Tokoyami and Bakugo, right, entertainer?"
Izuku smiled at Shoji, "Shoji."
Mr. Compress laughed at them in an impressed manner, "Oh, that didn't take very long! As excepted of someone with six hands!"
Todoroki created a wall of ice to block himself from Twice and pushed himself into a run towards his classmates, "Alright. Good job, Shoji!"
Dabi aimed his hand towards the student with the intention of blasting them with some fire, "Moron."
"How did they not grab me if I was in the same pocket as those two marbles?" Gareth looked at Mr. Compress with a questioning look on his face, readying himself to go after the three students as red energy started to circle around his hands again.
"I'll explain everything in a moment, Mask." Mr. Compress chuckled, watching the two students head towards the woods as he signalled Dabi and Gareth not to attack them, "Wait."
The three students continued to run forward towards the woods for a few more seconds until they were forced to change directions and turn to the right as the Nomu walked out of the forest into the escape point area. The three students were forced to stop in their tracks shorty after they changed directions as the familiar black portal of Kurogiri opened in front of them.
"It has been five minutes since the signal." Kurogiri spoke up to the members of the Vanguard Action Squad as he opened a few portal in the area, one for each member of the squad.
"Sorry, Izuku. I'll see you later." Toga waved at Izuku with a sweet smile on her face before walking into Kurogiri's portal, going back to the League's hideout. Twice dived into his portal as Origami and Mustard silently walked into their own portals. All four portals closed right after, leaving only one portal open for the three remaining villains.
"Dabi. Blast some fire at them." Gareth said to Dabi as Mr. Compress turned towards the portal, beginning to walk towards it. Izuku gasped, having overheard Gareth say those words to Dabi, "I'll use my Quirk to float my way to them and try to get the marbles from them."
"Don't worry." Mr. Compress said before either Dabi or Gareth could make move to attack the students as he turned back to the students when he was about to enter the portal, "They seemed so happy that they rushed out there so I thought I would give them a present." The three students looked at him in suprise as Mr. Compress took off his mask, showing them the ski mask he had underneath, "It's a habit. One of the basics of magic. When I flaunt something, it's because there's something I don't want you to see."
He smirked at the three students before sticking out his tongue, revealing himself to have two blue marbles on it. He snapped his fingers and the marbles in Shoji's hands were released, revealing themselves to be large pieces of ice.
Todoroki's eyes widened in suprise, "My ice?"
"During the attack I prepared dummies for your classmates and put them back in my pocket." Mr. Compress explained.
"This is why my marble wasn't caught by them?" Gareth asked, "Because you allowed them to take the two fakes marbles?"
"Precisely, Mask." Mr. Compress smiled at Gareth, "As an entertainer, you need to learn how to suprise your audience."
"Dang it!" Izuku cursed as he charged towards Mr. Compress, Dabi and Gareth with his classmates.
Mr. Compress put his mask back on his face. He put his legs into the black portal and bowed at them in dramatic manner, "If you discover that what in my right hand and what was in my pocket, then you'd happily rush over and even get one of my associates in the process. And now, that's all from me..."
He didn't got to finish what he was saying as all of a sudden blue laser beam shot from the bushes. THe laser beam broke Mr. Compress mask and the two marbles fell out of his mouth. The three students quickly rushed forward to grab the marbles, but Izuku fell to the ground, having tripped over something and grimaced in pain before he could reach the marbles. He lifted his head up from the ground and saw a red energy covered rock floating above the ground before it dropped back on the ground, the red energy vanishing from it.
"Just stop hurting yourself." Gareth thought to himself after managing to make Izuku fall to the ground as he lowered right hand. Izuku was already in a bad shape from whatever happened to him after the attack started.
Shoji reached his hand out towards the blue marble, managing to successfully catch it as Torodoki quickly moved to grab another one. He was inches away from grabbing it before Dabi's hand swiped it away. He looked up at the scarred villain as Dabi smirked at him, now holding a blue marble in his right hand.
"Isn't that a tragedy. Poor little Todoroki Shoto." He said, his smirk not leaving his face as Todoroki fell to the ground. He turned back to Mr. Compress as soon as Todoroki hit the ground, "Confirm it now. Release this."
"That laser ruined my finale." Mr. Compress complained as he snapped his fingers, releasing the two students from the marbles. Tokoyami appeared in front of Shoji as Bakugo appeared with Dabi holding him by his throat.
"You'll get another chance some other time." Gareth said as Mr. Compress vanished within the portal. He followed him through the portal, vanishing within the portal as well.
Dabi grinned, being the last villain from the Vanguard Action Squad to remain in the forest as he went deeper into the portal, "No problem."
"Kacchan!" Izuku shouted in worry for Bakugo as he got himself back on his feet and started to run towards the portal. He leaped towards the portal, "Kacchan!"
"Don't come Deku!..." Were the only words Bakugo managed to utter before disappearing in the portal.
The portal closed right after as Izuku landed on the ground. He got himself on his knees as his face paled with a pained expression on his expression on his face. He was too slow. He didn't manage to save Bakugo in time. He didn't save it in time from being captured and know the villains from the League were going to do whatever they had planned for him to him.
It wasn't even the worst part...
The worst part about it was the fact Gareth Takemura, his childhood best friend who went missing on the day he encountered All Might, someone who had always supported and encouraged his dreams of becoming a hero and had inspired him to be one, no matter what, someone who had defended his precious notebook from Bakugo on the last day he saw him, was the masked villain from U.A.
The green haired boy shook his head, not wanting to allow himself to believe it was the truth, because he would never suspect his friend would become a villain. He just knew Gareth was too good of a person to become a villain. There wasn't a day when he didn't think about Gareth. He never stopped hoping his friend would come back as he was never determined to be deceased, because of his body never being found. He just never imagined that the next time he saw his friend would go the way it did.
He knew couldn't lie to himself about it, though as Gareth didn't try to deny his identify to him after his face was revealed to him and his classmates. A long deep shaky breath escaped Izuku's lips, making Todoroki, Tokoyami and Shoji look at him in concern. The three of them immediately shifted their attention to their classmate who was clearly shaken the most by what just happened as Izuku allowed his brain to process everything that just happened.
Gareth was working with the League of Villains...
His friend was the Mask...
His friend was a villain...
He was a villain wanted for murder of the Pro-Hero Cyborg whose body was never found and for participating in the attack at the USJ...
It was when a loud scream of anguish echoed across the entire training camp...
The first Gareth saw after leaving the forest through Kurogiri's dark portal was the bar he was very familiar with at this point. He looked around himself after finding himself back in the hideout, wanting to know how many of the Vanguard Action Squad made it back to their hideout as he didn't have much time to do so back at their escape point after Mr. Compress released him from the marble.
He nodded his head to himself after taking a brief look around the bar. Most of the Vanguard Action Squad returned to the hideout. The only members of the squad who didn't made it back to the hideout were Moonfish and Muscular. He set his eyes on Origami for a second as Origami nodded back at him, both of them gladdened to see both of them have made it back to the hideout without getting caught. He turned away from her and turned around to look behind him. He set his eyes on Bakugo who was still held by the throat by Dabi as Bakugo looked at him with a mixture of anger and shock on his face.
"Well, well, well." Shigaraki's voice sounded next to Gareth, forcing the black haired boy to take his eyes off his ex-classmate as Shigaraki approached him from behind and stopped on his left. A cruel chuckle escaped Shigaraki's lips as he set his eyes on Bakugo, "Looks like we have a guest." An annoyed look formed on his face as Bakugo remained silent, "Why so silent? Aren't you gonna say anything? From what we've seen from you in the TV, you tend to be quite loud. Or do you consider yourself too noble to talk to a villain scum like me? It doesn't matter if you want to talk right now or not. We'll have plenty of time to talk soon. I have plans for you, hero."
Bakugo paid no attention to everything Shigaraki just said to him as his eyes hadn't left Gareth for this entire time. It was when he finally opened his mouth, breaking himself out of his shocked state, "You fucking Mutt." He growled out, glaring at Gareth, "You were this masked shithead for this whole time? How could you do all of these things? Explain yourself right now!"
Shigaraki shifted his gaze from Bakugo to Gareth, suprised by the fact Bakugo apparently knew Gareth, "You know this brat?"
"It's a long story, Tomura-kun. I'll explain everything later. All I can say right now is that we know each other from the time before I became the Mask." Gareth gave him an honest answer, knowing he had to explain it to his fellow villains and gestured towards an angered Bakugo, "We should knock him out and restrain him."
Shigaraki shifted his gaze from Gareth to Mr. Compress, "Knock him out, Compress. We don't want him using his Quirk in our hideout until we'll convince him to switch teams and join us."
Mr. Compress nodded his head to show the understanding of the order and stepped closer to Bakugo, intending to do as he was intstructed by his leader. Bakugo was about to say something to Gareth again, but his words died in his throat as Mr. Compress knocked him down. Dabi released Bakugo's throat from his grip as Bakugo's unconscious body fell to the floor with a loud thud.
Shigaraki turned away from Bakugo's unconscious body and faced the Vanguard Action Squad. He grinned at them like he was a child during a Christmas Morning, "Welcome back my Vanguard Action Squad. You did a great job! We've struck right at the heroes core by succeeding to capture their number one student and attacking the students the moment they stepped away from their precious school." He shifted his gaze from them to Gareth, "You did well as the leader of the Vanguard Action Squad, Gareth. See? You didn't have to so nervous about this role so much."
"We didn't made it back without any losses, though." Gareth replied, appreciating the complement. He was gladdened he didn't screw the entire thing up, but his mind focused on the things which didn't went according to their plan, "Muscular and Moonfish were caught."
"It is a little disappointing they didn't made it back with the rest of you, but you said it yourself they were wildcards." Shigaraki replied, "What matters is that most of you managed to get back to the hideout to fight another day with the main objective captured which got us closer towards accomplishing our goal of showing everyone how fragile their precious peace is."
"This isn't all, Tomura-kun." Gareth pointed at his mask on his shoulder, knowing he had to share this fact with the rest, "My mask got knocked off my face when I and Moonfish were trying to capture Bakugo. A few students saw my face. Tommorow morning we will probably see my face all over the news."
"It certainly is a shame your face was seen by the students, Gareth." All For One's deep voice sounded in the TV.
Gareth shifted his attention to the TV as soon as heard this voice, immediately recognizing it, "Sensei."
"...I know how much you wanted to keep your identify a secret, but you shouldn't allow yourself you didn't do well in this operation you planned with Tomura." All For One continued, "Don't count your identify now being known as a complete loss. Think of the good things it will bring. You told me your parents cared about their image and how people viewed them more than anything, right? Think about it will affect their image after it will become known their son is the Mask and lead the team of villains who attacked the U.A training camp."
Gareth silently nodded to show All For One his understanding of his words, not saying anything to him as he felt like his Sensei wasn't done speaking to him and still had something he wanted to say to him.
"More importantly." The black haired boy continued to listen his Sensei had to say to him as All For One continued to speak to him, "Think about how much you improved since the USJ as this operation was a success, unlike the USJ. All the training you have put yourself ever since the USJ to improve yourself, no matter if it was the endurace training or the training of using your Quirk again your opponents, has paid certainly off."
"...Thank you, Sensei." A satisfied smile grew on Gareth's face upon hearing everything his Sensei had just said to him, finally managing to take his mind off the things which didn't went according to the plan.
Welp, the secret is out.
Phew, this chapter is finally done. I was excepting to be one of the longer ones in the story but I wasn't excepting it to end up having over 17,000 words...
The next chapter will cover the events of Camino Ward. The arc which made me fall in love with the world of MHA and it's story. With Bakugo being captured, you can except the confrontation between Gareth and Bakugo in the next chapter. I'll try to get it out by the end of 2022.
I'm so excited for the next MHA episode I might start dancing, tango specifically.
Chainsaw Man continues to give us great episodes and I'm loving this anime so far. I would love to see a detailed essay on how the animators felt when they had to animate the kiss scene. The eight episode was a great example of when everything goes from 0 to 100 in a matter of minutes. I will definitely reach for the manga after anime will come to and.
Finally watched Spy x Family and what can I say about this anime? It's so wholesome. I love the family dynamic between Loid, Yor and Anya. I binged the entire thing in two days.
Hope it wasn't so bad. See you in another chapter.
