Season 1 Bonus Episode
Anti-weeaboo Faction: Thanks and actually, I already got used to the listing without a headache. I'll be alright.
After his monologue regarding himself, Ayanokouji left as he walked his way back to his room to rest. On the way, "Eh? Fancy running into you Kiyotaka-kun."
"Well that was an unexpected encounter Honami."
The 2 students looked at each other for a moment. "Say, wanna grab dinner with me? I'm heading to this buffet restaurant where they serve different kinds of delicacies and it's all-you-can-eat." Honami invited him.
"Buffet? What's that?" He asked.
"First time you heard of it is it? Well come with me and all will be revealed." She replied.
"No thanks. I'm just going to-" Ayanokouji can't finish his sentence because Honami grabbed him by the arm and dragged him to the restaurant. "Not again...just like our first meeting..." He sighed to himself.
They soon arrived at the buffet restaurant and there, several students are having dinner and helping themselves at the buffet table. "Now this, is a buffet." Honami pointed out to Ayanokouji. "And here, we can help ourselves to the various delicacies at unlimited servings."
"So technically, all-you-can-eat means you can eat as much as you like?" Ayanokouji asked. "That's right! And that also includes unlimited appetizers, drinks and desserts. And once you pay a fee, you're free to help yourself." Honami explained further as they checked the fee. 20,000 private points.
"I'll pay for my own." Ayanokouji spoke up.
"No need for you to. I'll pay for us both." Honami already has her handphone ready as she tapped it on the scanner at the front counter. Green light as the lady managing the front counter allowed them in. There, they took their plates and examined the varieties. "Feel free to try out anything." Honami told Ayanokouji and she went ahead to help herself.
A few minutes later, Honami is seated with her dinner. It consists of a grilled chicken fillet with a serving of salad and roast potatoes. She also helped herself to a bowl of cream of mushroom soup with a butter roll and a glass of orange juice. "Is he still choosing on what to pick?" She thought as she stirred her soup a bit and sampled it. "Mmmm...creamy." She thought when, "Hope I didn't take too long." Ayanokouji just arrived and, "So much?" A shocked Honami exclaimed for Ayanokouji's dinner consist of a roast beef, a pork chop, 2 garlic pork sausages, mashed potatoes with gravy and 2 pieces of fried chicken. He also got the same bowl of soup as her's with the butter roll but he got apple instead of orange. "I didn't eat anything from morning till now." He stated. "Ha! And you didn't get any vegetables? That's unhealthy of you Kiyobaka!" Honami teased. "Haven't you forgotten what you told me? It's all-you-can-eat." Ayanokouji brought up as he began eating a pork chop. Honami chuckled remembering it as she too began eating.
As they ate, "Oh right. Kiyotaka-kun. I would like to thank you for what you did for me." Honami spoke up. "Uh, I didn't do anything in particular to help you." Ayanokouji replied. "Really? Tachibana-senpai told me everything." Honami revealed and he stopped. "Unbelievable." He exclaimed. "No it's not! Besides, I feel very grateful that you thought of me." Honami replied with a smile. "I understand the rejection but through your words and trust, the student council gave me this chance! So far, I'm assisting Tachibana-senpai on the paperwork and stuff."
"Well that's good for you." Ayanokouji replied and thought of this. "I wonder i the vice president has made his move on her? I better keep my word on ensuring her safety. The president's counting on me for this role."
Just then, "AHA! I FOUND YOU, YOU STUPID DEFECT!"
"I know that voice..." Ayanokouji sighed as from the entrance of the restaurant, an angry Yahiko caught sight of them as he stomped his way to them. Some of the students were terrified at his anger as, "This is all your fault!" Yahiko began pointing at Ayanokouji. "My fault? What are you talking about?" He asked as he stood up to face him.
"You caused my class to lose the exam!" Yahiko replied.
"I don't recall doing anything against your class. I mean, the rules stated the penalties and I followed them." Ayanokouji replied politely.
"Don't bullshit me defect! Haven't you forgotten what you declared on that day? Huh? HUH!?" Yahiko's losing his temper before the restaurant audience while Ayanokouji remained calm with his poker face. "No I don't." He replied infuriating the Class A student. "I've had enough of you defect!" Yahiko threw a punch but Ayanokouji dodged and strafed about controlling his footwork and dodging his punches without breaking a sweat. "Stand still you weak defect!" Yahiko shouted as he threw a punch but suddenly tripped. "AHHH!" He screamed and fell onto a buffet table ruining it. All the food splattered all over the area including Yahiko who now looks like food garbage. Already, several waiters got ready to apprehend him but, "THIS ISN'T OVER!" Yahiko shouted and retreated with the waiters giving chase though some stayed behind to clean up the huge mess.
The drama is over as the students continued their dinner as, "Did you do something to tick him off?" Honami asked curiously as she took a bite from her roast potato. "Well...I sort of made a prediction that Class A won't get first place." Ayanokouji replied. "Instead, you made your class win it did you?" Honami guessed right but, "No it's not me. It's Horikita who made the impossible possible." Ayanokouji replied. "Baka. I know for sure you made the moves in the shadow." Honami stated. "Damn...she got me there..." He thought as he ate his sausage. "Besides, I even took a page from your book." Honami revealed and answered it. "Instincts."
"Heh. She's learning well from me. Why am I not surprised." Ayanokouji thought as he started eating his mashed potatoes. They ate and chat at the same time when, "By the way, Kiyotaka-kun. How did you get first place for your class in the island exam?" Honami asked as she sipped her drink. "A story for another time." He replied as he finished his soup. "Alright then. I'll get dessert." Honami left the table to get one while Ayanokouji waited.
A minute later, "Ta-daa!" Honami brought in a plate of dessert. "What is that?" Ayanokouji asked. "Chocolate Lava Cake." She answered as he examined the dessert. It's a small and round piece of chocolate cake with chocolate sauce drizzled on the cake. "Unfortunately, this is the last one." She added. "But I don't mind sharing it with you."
"Well...I still have room for dessert and it's my first." He stated surprising her. "Then make the most of it." She told him as she sliced the cake in half and then, "Whoa..." Ayanokouji can see more chocolate oozing from the centre. "Flows like lava isn't it?"
"That's right." Honami took a piece and ate it. She beamed in happiness from the taste. "I guess it's really delicious." Ayanokouji cut his portion into half first. He then took one and ate it.
It was at that moment that his eyes widened for the first time. He was mesmerized from the taste. The next thing it happened, he ate his other portion and even used a spoon to scoop up the chocolate sauce. "Hee! Hee! Well? How's the taste?" Honami asked.
"Rich...it's rich in taste and flavour. The chocolate flows like lava on my tongue. Every taste bud has sampled it for the first time. Whoa..." Ayanokouji described. "You're funny. You speak like a food critic." Honami chuckled as she finished her drink. "I don't know. Dessert is too good." Ayanokouji replied as he looked at the time. "Now that we've finished our meal, shall we get going?" Ayanokouji suggested as he finished his drink. "Agreed." Honami replied as they stood up and left.
Outside, "By the way, thanks for the treating Honami." Ayanokouji thanked her as they went to the upper deck. "And sorry about just now."
"It's alright. Totsuka-kun never should have messed with you." Honami replied as they walked around the ship a bit. "Ah...the night is so beautiful..." She described as they stopped to admire the scenery. "Yeah...just like you." Ayanokouji thought as he smiled in the darkness for a second. After that, they went inside and walked around some more when, "I did not know that there is a movie house in the cruise ship." Ayanokouji pointed out. "Cool! I haven't watched a movie for quite a while. Let's go!" Honami suggested. "Fine. This time I'm paying." said Ayanokouji as they went to the movie house.
When they arrived, "Yo Ayanokouji!" Sudou called out to him as, "Ah? Ichinose?" He was not expecting them to be together as, "How are you doing Sudou-kun?" Honami asked. "Has anyone of the Class C students still trying to pick a fight with you?"
"Nah! For now they're staying out of trouble. But I'll try not to vent out too much. Thanks for asking." Sudou chatted with her. "Anyway, what movie are you planning to watch?" Honami asked. "Oh yeah! I'm excited for this one! The First Slam Dunk!" Sudou cheered. "What is that?" Ayanokouji asked. "It's a sports anime movie based on the 1990s!" Sudou explained. "I grew up reading the manga and watching the anime. Wow, I feel so pumped to see a remastered version of it in the form of a movie! It's also the reason why I came to learn and play basketball! Oh it takes me back from the days!" Sudou is already tearing up in happiness as, "What time is your movie starting?" Ayanokouji asked.
"In about 5 minutes? Oh no! I better buy my snacks and enter the theatre hall fast!" Sudou is about to leave but, "What about Ike and Yamauchi?" Ayanokouji asked. "Don't know? But last time I heard, they wanna check out something in the luxury spa or baths. Ah whatever, I don't know the real deal with these 2 but I gotta go! See ya!" Sudou left as, "I hope he has his movie ticket." Honami brought up. "He should." Ayanokouji replied and thought of this. "Is it just me or is Ike and Yamauchi planning something just like at the pool before?"
"Anyway, any movie that interests you?" Honami asked and pointed at a screen displaying the movies and their timings. He looked at them for a moment. "How about this one?"
"Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of the Starless Night? Ooh. That looks good! Good choice Kiyotaka-kun!" Honami exclaimed as they went in line to purchase the tickets. There, "Wait, I know that person in front of us." Ayanokouji tapped her shoulder and, "Eh? Ayanokouji-kun!"
"Fancy seeing you here Mii-chan." He replied as, "Mii-chan?" Honami asked. "It's a nickname that my classmates and friends call me. My full name is Wang Mei-Yu." Mii-chan introduced herself. "Cool! It sounded like you're Chinese!" Honami exclaimed. "Of course! I'm from China and I moved here at a young age and remained here ever since." Mii-chan explained. "That's great! I'm Ichinose Honami and it's nice to meet you!" And the 2 girls chatted about while Ayanokouji just listened. This went on until Mii-chan's next in line. And then, "3 tickets to Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of the Starless Night please." Ayanokouji made his move and bought the tickets. "I didn't expect you to treat me Ayanokouji-kun." Mii-chan spoke up. "Seeing that you're in the line means you're also gonna watch that movie." Ayanokouji stated. "Ah...it seems you're very interested in the Japanese anime." Honami exclaimed to Mii-chan. "I sort of have a knack for the culture here especially in the manga and anime." Mii-chan replied as Ayanokouji gave each girl a ticket and, "Did you just buy a large soda for yourself?" Honami asked. "Yeah what about it? You want me to share it with you?" Ayanokouji asked while trying to tease her. "Uh no thanks." She replied as Mii-chan giggled at this and the trio went inside the theatre hall to enjoy the movie.
After that...
"This movie is awesome!" Mii-chan told them. "The plot is pretty good I can say." said Honami. "What about you Kiyotaka-kun? What do you think of the movie?"
"Well...the battle scenes were epic, in sync through certain characters and the romance is a developing start." He replied scratching his head a bit.
"Hmmm...it looks it's your first time watching an anime movie. Is it not?" Mii-chan asked. "Kiyotaka-kun has watched a couple of movies so far at the start of freshman year." Honami explained. "Ha? You called him by his first name?" A surprised Mii-chan exclaimed. "Wait...what is it between the 2 of you?"
"W-Well...uh...we're friends! Yeah! We're just friends!" Honami told her. "Ha? If you guys are friends, then why did I see you cling to his arm and cuddle close to him during the movie?" Mii-chan asked but swiftly, "Let's go Kiyotaka-kun!"
"W-Wait!" She was quick to grab him and leave quickly leaving Mii-chan stunned.
They soon stopped in front of a book store as, "S-Sorry about that..." Honami apologized sheepishly. "Embarrassed are you?" He asked. "W-Well...nowadays, my friends-"
"I know Honami. Lots of amusement about us." He replied and also thought of this. "I want to show you something."
"What is it?" She asked.
"All will be revealed soon enough." He replied and they started walking. But soon enough, screams were heard and from a luxury spa, 2 hooded figures ran out. One had a VCR and other had a camera as they fled hastily. "You got to be kidding me..." Ayanokouji thought for he noticed the devices as Honami went to the luxury spa to investigate the situation.
A few minutes later, "One of my classmates was there. She told me that 2 unknown figures were peeping in the floral baths in the spa. There was like 12 to 15 girls in there bathing and those figures may have recorded and took pictures." Honami told Ayanokouji. "Correction. They have recorded and took pictures. When they fled, I caught a glimpse of their equipment." He told her. "Do you know who they are?" She asked. "I wish I knew, they were too quick for me to notice their faces. Not to mention how they concealed themselves perfectly." He replied as he looked at the time via his handphone. "Anyway, shall we get going? Regarding the incident, let security handle this."
"If you say so..." She replied as they left the area.
It now cuts to the 2 students outside his room as Ayanokouji unlocked it and they got it. "Felix. You can come out now."
"Mew!"
"K-K-K-KAWAII!" Honami had a joy overload at the sight of a kitten as she ran, picked it up gently and snuggled to it. The kitten purred and licked her face. "He seems to trust you and take a liking to you." Ayanokouji stated with observation. "How did you find it?" Honami asked as he told her the full story. After that, "You not only have a heart to help your classmates but also to keep this tiny kitten as your pet!" Honami cheered. "I wonder how long has it been abandoned?"
"Beats me but...can you keep this a secret between us?" Ayanokouji asked. "I revealed this to you because I trust you highly."
"I also trust in you highly Kiyotaka-kun." Honami replied as she pet Felix on the head. "I won't say a word regarding your kitten and if ever, if you need someone to help you look after it, I can be of use!"
"Sure. That can be arranged." Ayanokouji replied as Honami gave Felix a head rub and he purred at this. And then, "I wonder, did you really cling to my arm during the movie?" He asked surprising her. "W-Well...uh..." Honami was unable to come up with something because she did cling onto his arm during the movie in some scenes. "Sorry if-"
"It's alright. I actually wasn't expecting it but...the warmth is something." Ayanokouji replied. "Warmth?" Honami asked. "Nothing." He replied changing the subject as Honami put Felix down. "Oh! I just remembered now, wanna have lunch with me tomorrow? It might also be a good time to talk about your class achievement in the island exam." She suggested. "Well..." Man, Ayanokouji can't refuse it so, "Sure."
"Nice! Well, I better head back. See you tomorrow and goodnight Kiyotaka-kun!"
"Yeah. Goodnight Honami." He greeted back.
So with that, Honami left for her room with Ayanokouji having the rest of the night for himself. He took a shower, got changed and lay in bed while his kitten snuggled to him.
Seems like we're becoming closer to each other. Even so, the warmth grows stronger tonight. Interesting, fate might have been sealed for both of us. Will destiny repeat the same action? I look forward to what can I experience in the warmth shared between us. Things had also become more interesting in my high school life. Still, my freedom must be preserved...
Every Season will have a bonus episode. One only and it'll be after the last episode of each season. I also gave Mii-chan more screen time to interact and hang out.
Right, the bonds between Ayanokouji and Ichinose will start to grow in Season 2. Step by step and they've so far trusted and understood each other. There will be more interactions between them and some moments involving...dessert.
