Season 2 Episode 9
The next day after classes end...
"I heard you made a bet to get Ayanokouji and Horikita expelled should you win." Ryuuen began as it cuts to him in some alley outside the school talking with Kikyou while Albert stood on guard.
"Well it's already a sure win for me." Kikyou replied with a sinister facial expression. "Anyway, you promise to feed me the questions you wrote for Class D right?"
"Sure but you know I can't hand them over for free, don't you?" Ryuuen replied with seriousness
"Mochiron. In exchange, I'll make sure Class C wins the Paper Shuffle! I could care less on my class as long as I win the bet!" Kikyou assured to Ryuuen as same thing as before, she'll do anything to get what she wanted even making sacrifices to allow the enemy class to win while her class loses.
"You seem to think you can." Ryuuen exclaimed.
"Oh I definitely will so you don't have to doubt me at all." Kikyou replied as she got ready to leave but, "Oh right. You know that 'shadowy mastermind' of yours? You're gonna leave it at large or something? I'm telling you, I will never forgive the mastermind for the past interference."
"Nothing to worry about there." Ryuuen assured to her. "I know just who to put on the task." He then smirked about it as, "Well in that case, good luck finding out the mastermind." Kikyou then left as Ryuuen went out to watch her while standing beside Albert who then spoke up. "She's too dangerous boss."
"I know." Ryuuen agreed as he thought of this. "Her obsession in expelling her enemies will leave her vulnerable to the point that she became mindless and self-centered only caring about her goal without thinking straight. I knew it, she really exposed too many weaknesses ever since I witnessed it..."
Just them, his phone buzzed over a new message. Ryuuen whipped it out and read it. It was at that moment that he smirked brightly. "Things had become more interesting..."
Later on...
Ayanokouji, Yukimura, Sakura, Akito and Haruka are in the midst of their study session at the same coffeeshop. There are other students also there studying for the upcoming special exam.
"Boy you didn't hold back on today's questions either Yukimoo." Haruka exclaimed while reading through them.
"Stop calling me that. It's so embarrassing that I'd wash my ears with bleach or detergent." Yukimura exclaimed as he continued looking through his tablet.
"If you do that, you'll lose your hearing." said Sakura as she sipped her cup of cappuccino.
"She's right. So let me have this for once." Haruka asked.
"Okay enough idle chat. Let's continue the study session Hasabe." Akito told her.
"Wow you're raring to go Miyacchi." Haruka exclaimed and smiled. "Very studious and serious you are."
"I'm already losing archery club time over this so I don't want to waste hours on a study session." He replied to her. "Besides, we can return to our dorms when it's done right?"
Ayanokouji who's been observing his classmates while looking at something in his tablet then spoke up. "Glad to see you so motivated Miyake."
"Uh...thanks?" He replied in surprise as, "Well let's continue but first, I'm gonna get a refill." Haruka stood up to get her refill when she accidentally tripped over the table leg. "Hasabe!" Akito grabbed her arm in time to stop her from tripping down but her cup flew off and landed onto the floor rolling up onto some shoe. It then stomped onto it as, "Hey! That's my-" Haruka then stopped and gasped while the rest looked up and Sakura cringed a bit. Other boys and girls are too scared of their presence as Ryuuen, Ishizaki and Albert approached the study group.
"What a merry little band we are seeing." Ryuuen began as he looked at Haruka. "Don't worry. I may have crushed the cup but at least I won't attack you since it's empty and it only touched my shoe."
"Ryuuen...why are you here?" Yukimura asked.
"To ask if you received what I sent you?"
"What are you talking about?" He asked back as Ayanokouji recalled the email he received a few days ago. "Well then." Ryuuen had Albert step aside one step to his left as a short girl stepped forth. She has silver hair with 2 black ribbons tied behind and violet eyes as Ryuuen asked her this. "Anything in particular strikes you, Hiyori?"
The girl known as Hiyori Shiina scanned the group with her eyes. "I'm not sure...they both have such unremarkable faces, I'll forget them the minute I leave. People should really have memorable faces."
"Don't be like that. You might be spending a lot of time with them in the future." Ryuuen replied.
"And that's a strong prediction I can tell." Ayanokouji thought as, "What are you talking about Ryuuen?" Akito asked. "For today, I'm just giving you my greetings." He replied. "And I'll be seeing you again...very soon." He, Ishizaki and Albert left the coffeeshop as Yukimura and Ayanokouji watched them leave.
As for Hiyori, "Here. A new one." She gave a new coffee cup to Haruka surprising her as, "To apologize for before. You see, Ryuuen-kun treasures his shoes in a way to keep them clean and in good condition so he tends to be a bit annoyed if anything touches or stains his shoes."
"I bet he beats people up if the mess is a big one his shoes." Akito whispered to Yukimura and he nodded in agreement. "Anyway, I hope we can talk again after the finals." Hiyori added. "Not to mention this is really an interesting group to hang out with." She then took her leave leaving Haruka more surprised.
After that...
The 5 Class D students are now outside Fairy Mart 7 eating ice cream. Ayanokouji and Akito are eating popsicles of the same flavour while Haruka, Sakura and Yukimura ate from the ice cream cups.
"That was pretty weird right?" Haruka spoke first.
"Yeah. Class C wasted a lot of our time. What are they doing at a time like this when they're suppose to be studying for the special exam?" Akito spoke next as Haruka ate some ice cream and felt the sweet sensation while eating it. "Fighting through adversity makes ice cream taste a lot sweeter!"
"What flavour you got?" Sakura asked. "I bought strawberry."
"Vanilla." Haruka answered.
"Chocolate for mine." Yukimura spoke up as he read some labels on his ice cream cup. "A veritable smorgasbord of preservatives and artificial colouring."
"Bro if you fixate on that stuff, how do you ever eat anything?" Akito asked him as he took a big bite on his popsicle.
"It's good to be scrupulous about one's food." Yukimura answered. "Convenience store food is expensive enough already."
"And this is why Honami promised to teach me cooking...but I wonder when she'll let me know..." Ayanokouji thought as he bit into his popsicle.
As the 5 students continued their ice cream treat, "Ah...I kinda like this energy." Haruka exclaimed.
"What do you mean?" Yukimura asked as Sakura ate another portion of her ice cream.
"Well, Miyacchi and I were always the types to do things on our own." Haruka answered. "But these study sessions have been way comfier than I expected. So I thought it'll be nice to make a group for just the 5 of us."
"I like this idea." said Sakura.
"Yeah. It sounds really cool." Akito agreed as Haruka stood before her peers. "What do you guys think?"
"I'm only here to facilitate your study process." Yukimura answered. "But for efficiency purposes, I won't protest the group creation."
"What the heck? Use smaller words mister genius." Haruka teased him as Sakura giggled a bit and Yukimura looked down flinching a bit. Still, Haruka thanked him as, "Hanging out with the 4 of you feels very easy. So I'm in." Ayanokouji stated.
"Yay! It's settled then!" Haruka cheered and as of now, all of them have finished their ice cream. "In this group creation, I won't play along with the nicknames." Yukimura stated. "But it's fun to use nicknames." Haruka replied. "Why not we use our given names? Nicknames can be optional if anyone is smooth with it." Sakura suggested. "Not a bad idea! Very well. I'm Haruka."
"Airi."
"Akito."
"Kiyotaka. And finally, your given name is Teruhiko, right Yukimura?"
"Yamero. Don't call me by that given name. I hate it." Yukimura stated as he went to throw his cup away. "Why do you despise your given name?" Sakura asked him. "My mother gave me that name and she left me and my father when I was little. She's a contemptible person and I resent her for that even until today." Yukimura told the group and he's still angered about his past. "And sorry if it's a lot to dump on you all."
"I understand now." Sakura spoke up. "You were never close to your mother a lot. I even have this feeling that your parents argued on what name to give you but your mother beat your father over it and left early after this."
"Wow...I surprised you deduced what I went through." Yukimura exclaimed in amazement. He then thought of this. "Nicknames are optional right? Call me Keisei. It's the name my father wanted to give me during the time my parents argued over what name to give me."
"Keisei huh? Alright then. This nickname sounds good to me." said Haruka.
"A pleasure to work with you Keisei." Ayanokouji offered his hand and they shook hands. "Kiyotaka, Airi, Haruka and Akito. Thanks for understanding." Yukimura thanked them with a smile.
"Okay! This 5-person group is officially the Ayanokouji Group!" Haruka announced.
"Matte. Why am I the figurehead?" Ayanokouji asked.
"You're the one who brought us together." Akito answered.
"And helped us along the way!" Sakura added. "So go for it Kiyopon!" But suddenly, "Sh-Shimatta! I pronounced your given name wrong! Gome! Gome!"
"Kiyopon? I like that! That can be your nickname Kiyotaka!" Haruka declared.
"Bummer..." He muttered under his breath as everyone laughed a bit. Regardless, he's okay with it as he smiled.
"Ha...Kiyopon smiled?" Haruka was stunned and likewise, the others. "I thought you don't smile." Yukimura exclaimed. "Maybe he rarely smiles." said Akito. "Only those he's very close with, he'll smile often." said Sakura.
Understandable and with that, everyone left together to their dorms.
That night...
"Something for me to find out is it?" Ayanokouji asked and he's talking on the handphone.
"Uh yeah! Something is going on for you and it'll be best for you to come over there and see it for yourself." Karuizawa replied as she checked her wardrobe to see what to wear.
"It's not a trap is it?"
"Why you assume something disastrous will descend on you Kiyotaka? Now don't waste your time and get changed! I'll accompany you to check it out."
"Fine. Where is it?"
"At one of the karaoke rooms. We'll meet at the lobby in 5 minutes." Karuizawa then ended the call.
Some time later...
"This is the one?" Ayanokouji asked.
"Yup. After you." Karuizawa beckoned him to go in first. "It's obviously a trap...or what if..."
"What's wrong now? Mou you can be doubtful sometimes..." Karuizawa exclaimed as he touched the door handle. He opened the door slowly and cautiously. "It's dark in here."
"Just go in!" She ordered as she lightly pushed inside and closed the door behind her. "Okay, now what?" Ayanokouji asked.
"CLICK!"
"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AYANOKOUJI!"
Light illuminated the room revealing a large group of students cheering for him. Ayanokouji observed the room for it turns to be a surprise party celebration for him. The tables have party food and there's a large, chocolate cake in the centre of one of the tables and at one of the corners are many wrapped presents.
Now those attending party consists of Karuizawa, Yukimura, Yousuke, Sotomura, Kouenji, Haruka, Akito, Satou, Horikita, Ijuin, Sakura, Sudou, Manabe, Nanami, Saki, Honami, Kanzaki, Mako, Norihito, Hamaguchi, Beppu, Machida, Morishige, Takomoto and surprisingly, Katsuragi.
"How did you know today's my birthday?" He asked as Haruka pushed Sakura lightly to the front before him. "Ano...Ayanokouji-kun. Remember our first study session?"
"What about it?"
"About that...you were seen looking at the display of cakes right?" That was enough for him to realize it. "She knew it from what I was looking at? Most impressive..." He thought. "I then got Horikita-san to ask her older brother for your data regarding your birthday and she got it! Once done, we got Karuizawa to join us and the 3 of us planned all of this." Sakura explained everything as, "Alright! Let's get this party started!" Sudou declared as Kanzaki lighted the candles on the cake. Everyone gathered around as Ayanokouji looked at the cake. "Make a wish Kiyotaka!" Honami encouraged him. He closed his eyes for a few seconds. And then, the candles are out.
Everyone cheered as the celebration begins with eating, drinking, bonding and singing. Mako and Norihito sang first as the group cheered for them. After them, Takomoto went solo and even did a successful backflip earning a lot of cheering. Right now, Nanami and Saki took the stage for the karaoke as on one of the tables, Sudou and Shibata are in the midst of an eating contest leaving Yousuke to sigh and shake his head while drinking soda and beside them, Yukimura, Sakura, Hamaguchi and Beppu are playing some board game. On the other table, Katsuragi and Kanzaki are talking about some important school stuff while Morishige and Ijuin had a toast with their cans of soda and beside them, Karuizawa, Satou and Manabe are chatting about fashion and other trends and finally in the centre table, Ayanokouji and Honami are eating the birthday cake. "How was it Kiyotaka?"
"The chocolate is rich. Tell me, you made it?"
"Hee! Hee! Hee!" She only giggled as, "He likes the cake I baked! OMG I'm so excited!" She thought as Ayanokouji polished his slice and took another. "Wow...Kiyopon sure is very close to Ichinose-san." Haruka noticed. "He even ate 2 slices of cake. You know what? I'm gonna do the same!" Akito who's enjoying the party took another slice and, "Wanna share it together?"
"I already had my portion but sure thing." Haruka then ate the slice of cake with Akito.
Some time later...
Well that concludes the party after an hour of bonding. Everyone all went back to their dorms and Ayanokouji with the help from Honami, Karuizawa, Sakura and Horikita brought all his birthday gifts into his dorm. The girls then went back to their dorms and Honami who's the last to leave first embraced him and left.
"Everyone had a great time. And to think it's my first time having my birthday celebrated by many..." Ayanokouji thought as he checked his gifts. He got a digital camera from Sakura, a portable video game console from Sotomura, a basketball from Sudou, a T-shirt from Nanami, a sleek jacket from Saki, roller blades from Takomoto, a pack of sodas containing 12 cans of coke from Norihito, an expensive hand mirror from Kouenji, an expensive watch from Machida and many more. But among the gifts, "This one is special." He's holding onto a music player with a set of earpiece. It's from Honami and in the device, there are many instrumental classical music tracks to play. All piano types. "I could use the music to calm my mind and allow me to remember the keys to key onto the piano. Truly a special gift." He thought when Felix purred and rubbed on his leg. Smiling, he picked the kitten and cuddled with it and after that, he turned in for the night.
The next day...
Since it's the month of October, Halloween decorations can be seen around Keyaki Mall.
Speaking of which, "Hey! Hey! Can we do some karaoke after our discussion?" Karuizawa suggested as it reveals her, Yousuke, Sudou, Horikita, Kikyou, Yukimura and Ayanokouji in a rented karaoke room. (Not the one used on Ayanokouji's birthday yesterday night)
"We're not here to have fun Karuizawa. We're here to report in about the study progress and discussion strategy."" Horikita reminded her. "And I can't believe it was her idea to use one of the karaoke rooms to hold this meeting..." She also thought.
"Fine! Fine! But coming here to discuss all this without singing is pretty much the dumbest and lamest thing!"
"It's okay Karuizawa-san, If we have time, we can sing after we're finished." Kikyou suggested.
"Good enough!" Karuizawa gladly agreed with Kikyou as Horikita sighed and began. "Now regarding the study group results, it seems to be going well."
"Hell yeah! It was worth studying until I can spit vocab flashcards!" Sudou cheered loudly and everyone was confused at his unexpected behaviour.
"Don't forget it's just a stopgap. Your fundamental academic level has barely reached that of a middle school first-year." Horikita dissed Sudou well enough for him to feel embarrassed. "After all that, I'm still treated like a teen that needs to be spoon-fed..." He sighed to himself sadly.
Moving on, "How are Hasabe-san and Miyake-kun doing?" Horikita asked Yukimura. "No issues from them." He answered. "They're doing their best to improve themselves." Ayanokouji added.
"Great to hear! I'd sure hate to leave anyone behind!" Kikyou cheered. "Let's all make it through the Paper Shuffle together!"
All of a sudden, "Hey...is it okay for you to say that?" An easily offended Karuizawa asked Kikyou. "You do know that someone or some people get expelled from this every year! Don't you remember sensei's briefing on that part?"
"W-Well...I-"
"There's no guarantee that Sudou-kun and I won't fail, right?" Karuizawa asked as Sudou looked worried.
"W-Well it's true that we can't guarantee it..." Kikyou replied.
"Ha! You sure do love being on the bright side, Kushida-san." Karuizawa exclaimed. "I guess it's only a piece of cake when you're already smart huh?"
"H-Hang on Kei-chan." Yousuke knew this would spiral out of control as already, she stood up and made her move. "I've been wanting to say this for a while now. I think you really overdo it on the 'good, kawaii and innocent girl' act."
"Eh? You think so?" Kikyou asked trying to pretend not to understand it.
"With respect, I'd appreciate it if you calm down." Horikita requested to the girls. "We need to focus on the test right-"
"You be quiet Horikita-san! This has nothing to do with you!" Karuizawa ordered stunning and silencing her in an instant as she got back to Kikyou. "Look Kushida-san. I think you act way too nice but deep down, you're mocking me!"
"N-No! I wouldn't do that!" She replied trying to defend herself as the rest watched the drama escalate. "Then stop feeding me that feel-good garbage or whatever crap you have!" Karuizawa ordered and her temper is increasing.
"I'm serious! I wouldn't-"
"So if I flunk the exam, you're gonna make it your problem?!" Karuizawa asked and she has had enough because in an unexpected move, she threw out her drink onto Kikyou's uniform!"
"H-Hey...did she just..." Sudou stammered about.
"That was...really unexpected..." Horikita also stammered about it.
"Unbelievable..." Yukimura shook his head.
"Come on Kei-chan. It's not cool!" Yousuke made his move now as he stood up. "You have to keep your cool and make the right choice whenever you feel offended over anything big or small. Remember?"
Easily, "Did I...go overboard Yousuke-kun?"
"Sort of." He replied as, "I'm still alright! Please don't blame Kaurizawa-san!" Kikyou spoke up. "But this is still unacceptable!" Yousuke replied as, "Y-Yeah! He's right! I went overboard..."
"And if you storm out now, you'll regret it later! Better apologize to Kushida." He added and with that, "Gome."
"It's fine! I probably should have been more considerate of your feelings." Kikyou replied but also under her other mask as she thought of it internally, "You got the nerve to provoke me for no reason! For that, you're in my expulsion list!"
"Sheesh...they need to get some chill over there." Sudou sighed over it.
"You're one to talk in regard." Horikita dissed him again as he looked shocked over what she said.
Back to the 2 girls, "I know it doesn't make it right but let me take your uniform for cleaning!" Karuizawa requested.
"You don't have to do that!" Kikyou replied.
"But I feel like it won't make things right until then! Please, let me do that much!" Karuizawa exclaimed as she started to tear up.
"Don't cry Karuizawa-san! I'll let you do what you must!" Kikyou gave in as Ayanokouji observed everything.
And the next day...
"So these are the questions Class D has submitted?" Chabashira-sensei asked as she coldly looked at the person who delivered them. "But I was really not expecting you to be the one to deliver them Kushida."
"Horikita-san asked me to! She has something to do so she asked me to do this submission!"
"Very well. Thank you." The teacher thanked her.
"Oh right! There's a favour Horikita-san also wanted me to ask you on her behalf. Someone might try to drop by later and do a swap on the questions."
"What do you mean Kushida?"
"The swapping on the questions is an attempt to submit a different set of questions which might put Class D at a disadvantage during the special exam. You should pretend to accept them and then, discard them when the coast is clear."
"Naruhoto...I'll take your word for it."
"Okay! Thanks a lot!" Kikyou sure knows how to conceal her fake innocence.
It now cuts to another alley as Ryuuen and Albert are with her as Albert just browsed through a set of question sheets. He nodded at Ryuuen as he spoke up. "Betraying your own class and switching out the question sheets...you're one scary chick."
"I'll do whatever it takes to get Horikita-san out of this school for good!" Kikyou replied still being sinister. "Now, can I have the thing I asked you for?"
At the drop of a hat, Ryuuen took out Class C's question sheet. "Take it. It's a copy of the question sheet Class C submitted."
"I can't wait to see the test results!" Kikyou cheered with confidence and excitement as she left.
"Neither can I..." Ryuuen spoke to himself as, "Wanna grab some pizza for dinner together Albert?"
"HELL YEAH BOSS!" Albert cheered loudly as they left the area.
The Day of the Paper Shuffle...
Ayanokouji is going up the stairs when, "Ohayo Ayanokouji-kun!" Satou arrived as, "Test time it is today right?"
"Yeah. Slept well last night?"
"I had a good sleep but now I'm pretty nervous. Hope I don't drag you down academically."
"I won't tell you not worry, but let's both do our best." Ayanokouji assured to her as she blushed when, "Ohayo! Ayanokouji-kun and Satou-san!" Karuizawa appeared behind them as she stood in between them. "Karuizawa-san...you're early."
"Hey that's not funny! I'm always early!" She replied as the 2 girls chatted a bit walking ahead to class. "Man I've never seen her so protective of you." Yousuke then appeared as they watch the girls walk ahead. "What do you mean?" Ayanokouji asked.
"Well I can only say that she's been hung up on you lately." Yousuke replied.
"You got it wrong."
"You think so?" Yousuke asked and, "Ah never mind, it's none of my business and I believe we better be ready for the Paper Shuffle."
"Agreed." And the 2 boys headed to class.
There, everyone is waiting. Some like Ike, Yamauchi and Sudou are revising the subjects with seriousness. Ayanokouji observed the class and talked with Horikita. "I barely recognize our class like this."
"Indeed." She agreed and he noticed the book she's reading. "And Then There Were None. By Agatha Christie? Ominous."
"We're not going to lose anyone. Including the 2 of us, of course." Horikita assured to him. "Agreed. All the best."
"Same goes to you." She then placed a bookmark on the page she's reading on the book and kept it.
At last, the finals begins and it starts with mathematics. "Hajime." Chabashira-sensei ordered.
All flipped their papers as Ayanokouji examined the questions. "Yukimura called it. These questions should all be within our ability." He thought as he began answering the questions. "But more importantly..." He looked up to see Kikyou stuck. Literally stuck as it appears that she's having difficulties...
...

...
...
...
Ah never mind and forget her! Time to fast forward to the next scene. Right now!
Hours later...
By late afternoon, the Paper Shuffle Special Exam is finished.
"Whew! Finally!" A relived Ike exclaimed as, "You think you did good?" Yamauchi asked. "Yeah! Hopefully at least I can pass." Ike told him. "Same!" said Yamauchi.
"How was the test Miyacchi?"
"Pretty okay Haruka."
Near them, "You did a good job tutoring them." Sakura praised Yukimura. "No. We did. You were there at least to help me prepare the necessary materials for the study session." He told her as they chat some more.
Over there, "Sorry Suzune! I did what I can do...but I feel like I might score 40 or 50!" Sudou told Horikita. "That's nothing to worry about. I did the exams and I should be able to pull an average of 90 so we'll be fine." She told him and that calmed him down.
"BAM!"
Both stopped and looked to see Kikyou storming off. "Is she...a bit different all of a sudden?" Sudou asked. "Perhaps..." Horikita replied.
It now cuts to the rooftop as, "What the hell was that?!" Kikyou asked Ryuuen wearing her other mask. "That wasn't the question sheet you gave me! Now Horikita's gonna win the bet! You betrayed me you good-for-nothing bastard!"
"Ha! You still didn't figure it out?" Ryuuen was amused by her reaction as he faced her. "You thought you outmaneuvered Suzune but she has already trapped you from the start."
"HA?!" An enraged and confused Kikyou exclaimed. "Ha! What a dumbass she is." Ryuuen thought with a smirk.
Meanwhile in class, "It's all very simple. Kushida thought that handing in the question sheet before Horikita was all she need but Horikita anticipated it." Ayanokouji explained to Karuizawa. "What do you mean?" She asked.
"The same day Paper Shuffle was announced and before our strategy meeting, Horikita asked Chabashira-sensei to agree to 2 things. One: To only accept the question sheet submitted personally by her, the class representative. Two: If anyone else submitted a question sheet, pretend to accept it and do nothing else they ask." Ayanokouji explained and a flashback shows Horikita talking to the teacher and another shows her shredding the question sheet Kikyou submitted to her.
"So Horikita-san knew what Kushida-san was plotting to do?" Karuizawa asked.
"Yeah. It's also enough for Chabashira-sensei to sense that there'll be a sabotage attempt on our class so she willingly accepted Horikita's conditions."
"Then that means we don't even need our little plan in the first place!" Karuizawa exclaimed and a flashback reveals that Karuizawa's minor outburst was actually staged as it reveals her planting a cheat sheet on Kikyou's washed uniform. "Cheating equals instant expulsion. So that was just the insurance right?"
"But still, Horikita managed it all on her own. She didn't even require my help."
"Mou...and I wish that our little plan can expose the traitor and expel her out for good..." Karuizawa thought.
And back on the rooftop, "THAT STUPID BITCH! I ALMOST HAD HER!" Kikyou vented out. "You have no right to call Suzune stupid for you did not give us our payment so why would we give you the right question sheet?" Ryuuen asked taunting her some more as she twitched in anger. "I ALMOST HAD HER!"
"No. You were stuck either way." Ryuuen told her as he walked close to her and noticed it. Putting 2 fingers into her uniform, she gasped and moved back. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
"Don't get the wrong idea. It's all about this." Ryuuen revealed a rolled up sheet between the 2 fingers he put in as Kikyou gasped at the sight. Rolling it out, "I thought so. A cheat sheet!" He exclaimed.
"What in the world..." Snatching the cheat sheet, "What was that doing in my jacket?!" She asked as she looked through the sheet.
"Someone in Class D was preparing to hang you dry." Ryuuen revealed as, "This...this is messed up!" She exclaimed. "These are for the questions you gave me! If you and I were the only ones who had them...how did the mastermind know all about them?!"
Ryuuen just chuckled and went to leave as, "You finally caught on eh?"
"Impossible...YOU! YOU HANDED THEM OVER?! I KNEW IT! YOU BETRAYED ME YOU BACKSTABBING ASSHOLE!" Kikyou is now lashing out her anger on Ryuuen as he chuckled some more and already, Albert is waiting at the door for his boss. "Don't be ridiculous Kikyou. Ours was always a relationship of convenience."
This made her gasp as, "You knew that didn't you?" Ryuuen then left the rooftop as Albert closed the door behind him and escorted his boss.
Now that she's all alone, "I really don't like you!" Kikyou spoke in her current mask. She then wore her other mask. "And this is why you're now on my list Ryuuen-kun!"
Later on, she and Horikita met up. "You won the bet. Are you satisfied?" She asked wearing her other mask.
"And I trust that you'll leave me be without any sabotage attempts?"
"As frustrating as it is, a promise is a promise. Shall we keep it in writing?" Kikyou asked with acknowledgement.
"No need. Instead, let's begin with an expression of trust. Horikita then offered her hand to Kikyou for a handshake.
"I really hate you!" She stated in her current mask.
"I'm sure you do. But I'll do my best to earn your trust and be a friend to you."
"That makes me hate you even more!" Kikyou stated again as she walked past her refusing her handshake. But along the way and wearing her other mask. "Don't get me wrong. I only promised to stop sabotaging you." She then left as Horikita appeared to be shocked. "Since she'll leave me be...then her next target to expel will be..."
It then cuts to the classroom as Ayanokouji checked his phone.
Ryuuen agreed to the trade as expected. The message I sent to him several days ago has 2 options. One: Give me Class C's confirmed Paper Shuffle question sheet and answers. Two: Greatly alter the question sheet you give to Kushida Kikyou. In exchange, I told him that Horikita already planned everything to counter Kushida's plan. This might surprise him greatly but regardless, he chose the second option
At the same time at the staircase, Ryuuen is reading the message sent to him by the 'mastermind' several days ago.

And back at the classroom, Ayanokouji received a new message from Ryuuen and it has a picture of Karuizawa. Knowing his intentions, Ayanokouji texted him a new message.

And when Ryuuen received it, he's even more hyped to make his move very soon.
The Ayanokouji Group is officially formed! In this story, they'll start out as 5 members but more will soon join them and the group will soon evolve into something new...
And the main protagonist gets to celebrate with his birthday with his friends, classmates and if you guys wanna call it, yeah, tools.
