Season 2 Episode 12

Continuing from the previous episode, Ryuuen dragged Karuizawa by the arm and threw her onto some pile of objects. "JUST GIVE IT UP ALREADY!" He really is out of patience as he took notice of Honami shivering at this. This made him grin as, "Heh. I'll play with you too!" He grabbed her by the collar and pinned her on the wall. "Such fear..." He thought as he slapped her face twice and threw her onto the ground.
"This is so unbearable..." Ibuki thought as Reo took Honami and returned her to the original position from just now as Ryuuen shifted his focus back on Karuizawa. Grabbing her collar, "During the cruise ship exam, when you were at that dark area of the ship, why do you think Manabe and her group showed up all of a sudden?" This rendered her speechless as, "Because the mastermind set you up. It was designed trap to turn you into a pawn. I know it very well do I?"
"This can't be..." She exclaimed weakly.
"And now he's cut you loose. With that, no help is coming."
"That's not...that can't be...true..." She thought as she shivered some more. "Was I just deluding myself into believing that he'll protect me?"
Now letting her collar go, "There's only one you're getting out of this. You know what it is right?" Ryuuen asked. She nodded as, "Tell me the name of the mastermind and all this will go away but refuse and I'll make things worse on you. I'll even drive you to the brink and plunge you to hell." He then poured out another large bottle of water on her. "You won't be able to remain in this school for long. Now, the name."
She didn't answer him as she reflected on her life. "Let's try it again. The name." Ryuuen ordered as Karuizawa remained in deep thought for a short while and then, "I'll never tell you...I'll never tell!"
That's when he grabbed her hair and lifted her up. "Why protect the mastermind who used you as a pawn?!" A pissed-off Ryuuen asked.
"I wish I knew..." She replied. "Everyone wants the chance to make one heroic last stand right?"
"And you'll accept the consequences?"
"Yes...I may regret them later but yes...I accept them..."
Dropping her, "Your loyalty to the mastermind is admirable in its own way." Ryuuen commended. "But unfortunately, I'm gonna have to destroy you...with blood." He then drew his knife as, "Wait...he's gonna do some murdering?" Komiya thought as Ryuuen got himself ready when Honami tried to break free by bumping Reo down and trying to run despite the bindings on her but Komiya blocked her and Ibuki grabbed her arms from behind. Noticing this commotion, "On second thought..." Ryuuen then had a better idea as he approached Honami with Ibuki pushing her to him as he grabbed her neck and readied his blade. "No...leave her out of this..." Karuizawa begged weakly but was ignored instead.
Meanwhile...
"If we're going to do karaoke, we should compete for points and have punishments for the losers." Haruka suggested as the group arrived at the place.
"I don't agree to that!" Yukimura exclaimed as everyone closed their umbrellas when, "What's wrong Kiyotaka-kun?" Sakura noticed that he didn't close his umbrella yet. "I...pulled out an all-nighter studying and it's suddenly catching up to me." He replied
"That's silly. You really need to balance your studying and sleeping." said Haruka.
"Invite me again over break and have your fun with Hiyori's initiation." Ayanokouji urged them to go on without him.
"Sure thing." Haruka let him go with Hiyori excited for the bonding.
It then cuts to the Class D homeroom with Chabashira-sensei looking at the downpour. She then heard the door open as she turned around to speak. "What did you need to talk with me about Ayanokouji?"
"I have some important info that's crucial for Class D." He revealed surprising her. "If nothing changes, today's events will put an end to Class D's ability to ever advance."
"What do you mean?" The teacher asked.
"I believe Ryuuen has called out Karuizawa to put on one of his shows." Ayanokouji revealed. "If he breaks her completely, she'll quit school and cost us the class points and the chance for Class D to ascend."
"I know what you're after. You want to inspire me to save Karuizawa even though you don't want to get involved with me anymore and likewise, the reverse?" Chabashira-sensei asked.
"If I ask for your assistance especially when it's an emergency, will you grant it?" Ayanokouji asked.
"You expect too much. Teachers at this school need a damned good reason to intervene in an inter-student conflict." She replied.
"Should you really stay out of this?"
"What do you mean by that?"
"I haven't asked you to do anything." Ayanokouji stated as he went to take his leave. "Don't you want to see the way this all resolves?"
It now cuts to outside and near the scene of the incident, a student is waiting by when Ayanokouji and Chabashira-sensei showed up. "Sorry to keep you waiting." Ayanokouji apologized as he turned to face them.
"Horikita Manabu? What's the meaning of this? Are you planning to ask the former student council president to stop them?" Chabashira-sensei sure asked a lot but, "Certainly not. He's only asked me to deal with the aftermath." Manabu replied.
"And to testify that Class C started it if things go awry." Ayanokouji added with Manabu agreeing with him and, "But don't forget the promise you made."
"Yeah. I'll assist your sister's entry to the student council."
"I'm glad we understand each other. It is through your friendship with Suzune that allowed her to grow and improve on herself. This has convinced me that she's ready for this important role." Manabu replied and the teacher can see that these 2 students do understand each other.
"Also, do you need a hand for your upcoming Christmas dinner date with Tachibana-senpai?" Ayanokouji asked.
"Oh don't worry, I was able to make the arrangements but thanks for asking." He replied with respect.
"Alright. I'll leave it to you then." Ayanokouji then departed to do what he has to do as Manabu and Chabashira-sensei watched him.
"What is he planning and how exactly will he resolve all this?" She asked.
"He intends to end the war entirely on his own." Manabu answered her question surprising her. "So he has a plan to take Ryuuen and his group off the board?" She wondered in thought.
And so...
The rain remains heavy and likewise, Albert still on his guard duty. Ayanokouji is now approaching him and he soon took notice of his presence as he whipped his phone out when, "Don't panic. I'm the one you're seeking."
"Wait...you can speak English?" A surprised Albert asked.
"Yes. I can also speak a few other languages." Ayanokouji revealed to him. So with that, Albert directed him to go inside as he put his umbrella outside and followed him in.
And inside, "Before destroying Karuizawa, destroying you will make it easier for me to destroy Class B once I utterly crush Class D." Ryuuen told Honami and he got his knife ready when, "Huh? Over there!" Ishizaki pointed at the entrance as "What's he doing here?" A confused Ibuki asked with Komiya and Reo staring at him followed by Ryuuen, Honami and Karuizawa.
"Kiyo...taka..." Both helpless girls thought as, "Sorry I'm late Karuizawa." Ayanokouji apologized to her and noticed Honami still held by Ryuuen. He clenched his fists when he saw her in this state as, "Why...Why did you come here?" Karuizawa asked. "Remember the promise I made with you? I said that I'll save you if anything happens to you." He replied and took his phone out revealing an email to Ryuuen. "I received an email from her asking for my aid. She even told me the location. Therefore, I'm the person you've been searching for."
"Okay this is so ridiculous! How can he be the mastermind?! He's just a stupid little sheep with a gloomy and poker face!" Ibuki pointed out.
"Then let me ask you this. How did your camera get damaged during the island exam?" Ayanokouji asked and it caused her to step back in shock. "H-How did you know about it?!"
"Because I'm the one who broke it. Water is all I need to damage the electronic components of the camera. In fact, I already suspected you being the spy for your class ever since you started staying in our camp." Ayanokouji revealed as Ryuuen examined the 2 girls. "Their fear has vanished." He thought and with that, "I've seen everything now." He announced as he dropped Honami onto the ground to face him. "If you are Class D's mastermind, I think you made a wrong move here. The ideal tactic against me in this case would have been to abandon Karuizawa." He then smirked about it as he continued on. "Now that you're in the lion's den, how exactly do you intend to escape it alive? Show me whatever little plan you've cooked up."
"Actually I don't have a plan." Ayanokouji replied. "I only came here to get Karuizawa and Honami. Come to think of it, why is Honami here? I thought your plan only requires Karuizawa."
"Ha! That Class B girl was caught snooping on us. Probably attempting to rat us out and our plan so we have no choice but to tape her mouth and restrain her wrists. Say, let's play a little first." said Ryuuen. "You don't think very highly of us do you? Then we'll have to go a little crazy." And now, Ibuki, Ishizaki, Komiya, Reo and Albert got into their fighting stance.
"Wait! Don't do this!" Karuizawa clung onto his leg begging him but he just kicked her onto a pile of boxes. He then picked Honami up and threw her onto the wall.
"You'll regret that..." Ayanokouji thought internally and his fists are still clenched while maintaining his calm demeanor. "As you have witnessed, violence is the ultimate power in this world." Ryuuen declared. "No matter what clever little tricks or schemes you pull, they can't hold up against absolute violence."
Ayanokouji said nothing as Ryuuen continued on. "I'm going to crush you here right now so that you'll lose the will to oppose me. And when I do, Class D will be no more."
"No room for negotiations I guess." Ayanokouji replied as, "Exactly. Now show me how you escape this dire situation!" Ryuuen dared him. "This is confusing. Is my situation really dire?" He asked and it now confused him. "You only have 6 people here including yourself. That's not enough to stop me."
Upon hearing that, Ryuuen laughed in amusement. "So you think you can take on all of us yourself? This I gotta see!" He thought and sternly gave an order. "Ishizaki."
"Nothing personal Ayanokouji, I'm just following orders. Now get ready!" He charged for a straight punch but Ayanokouji blocked the punch and bound him using his arm. "Wh-What the heck?" He thought as, "Ishizaki!" Ibuki called out as, "My turn!" Reo charged for a front kick but Ayanokouji used Ishizaki as a human shield and the kick struck him. "Shimatta!" Reo thought as Ayanokouji pushed Ishizaki onto him causing a collision. Komiya then seized the chance to attack him from behind as he charged but Ayanokouji elbowed him from behind without looking back and raised his lower arm and clenched fist up and back hitting his face. He then kicked his leg and uppercut him on the chin sending him flying as he crashed onto the wall. A furious Ishizaki threw some punches but Ayanokouji dodged them swiftly and even grabbed Reo's leg when he attempted a spin kick. During that, he flipped him over as he fell and punched Ishizaki on the body 6 times and palm thrust his face causing him to stumble and crash onto the wall.
Now that he's seen everything, Albert stepped forth as Komiya charged again but Ayanokouji grabbed him, kneed him on the guts twice and threw him down with his face on the ground as he dodged Albert's power hooks in time. He counterattacked but Albert blocked them and the 2 fighters are now in a boxing stance. "Come at me with everything you got!" Albert thought as he kept his guard up. "Looks like he's a skilled boxer. Impressive." Ayanokouji thought as, "Impossible! He managed to evade and take down Ishizaki, Komiya and Kondou?! Are they taking him seriously?!" Ibuki exclaimed as back to them, they resumed their fight in a boxing match style as both of them threw jabs, hooks and crosses while dodging and strafing each other's attacks. As this goes on, Karuizawa and Honami watched in amazement at Ayanokouji's fighting style until finally, Ayanokouji found an opening and delivered a cross on Albert's left side of the body. He felt it and it's followed by a low kick on his left knee and before he can counterattack, Ayanokouji kicked his left thigh and jabbed his face hard knocking him down.
"AYANOKOUJI!" Ishizaki shouted for him and it appears he, Komiya and Reo are back on their feet. "You shouldn't shout before you charge." Ayanokouji told him. "And you shouldn't relax yet! Pincer Attack!" Ishizaki ordered as he, Komiya and Reo charged at him together in different angles. As they got close, Ayanokouji got his hands on the ground and spin kicked all 3 fighters as they stumbled back. He then got on his feet and stepped forward blocking a karate chop from Ishizaki and kneed him on the guts followed by 2 punches on his face. He then turned around swiftly blocking Komiya and Reo's front kicks, brought their legs down and swiftly grabbed their necks and bashed their heads onto each other. They fell as Ishizaki jumped up to punch him on the head but Ayanokouji strafed to his right and once he landed, he jumped up and delivered a power spin kick onto his face as he stumbled back and kicked his face eliminating him from the fight.
Komiya then grabbed him and bound him for Reo to do some free attacks but Ayanokouji head bashed him once he got close, broke free from Komiya's grasp and did a polish hammer on his chin. He then grabbed him, lifted him up and upside and slammed his back onto the ground pro wrestling style and Komiya's out. Reo then attempted a charge attack but Ayanokouji grabbed him swiftly and slammed him onto the wall and threw him onto the other side of the wall. This left him defeated as Albert regained himself but before he could make a single move, Ayanokouji kicked his face sending him flying as he crashed onto the ground, unable to fight furthermore.
The girls were too speechless at what they've seen. "Better than I imagined." An impressed Ryuuen complimented his fighting skills as he faced them. "Ayanokouji is this strong?! Especially when he used various fighting moves?!" A shocked Ibuki asked.
"You haven't caught on yet? This situation, in which things would be resolved with violence, I engineered it myself." Ayanokouji explained surprising Ryuuen. "If I'd really wanted to keep my identity safe, I wouldn't have used Manabe from the start. Though it's already done and she played her part well so I set her free. Now you may have thought everything was going according to your plan..."
"But you just let me think that I was in control." Ryuuen finished his sentence. "I did let you think that while I was in control." Ayanokouji added. "Naruhoto. So it's like as if you're the one who led me here. Is that it?" Ryuuen asked as he looked at Ibuki. "What now Ibuki?"
She looked down for a moment. Her fists are clenched and she's feeling frustrated and confused to the point that, "What in the world...IS WRONG WITH YOU AND AYANOKOUJI!?"
A capoeira kick was unleashed but Ayanokouji bent back a bit dodging it as Ibuki got serious. "Even though we trust each other, but you're so annoying to the point that I don't know what's going on between you and Ryuuen!" She unleashed more capoeira moves as Ayanokouji strafed about. He then also used those same moves surprising her. "Bakana...he also knows how to fight with this fighting style?" Ibuki thought as she bent down and swung her right leg for a low sweep but Ayanokouji jumped back and used a spin kick but she dodged down and counterattacked with a front kick. "I see now...his fighting style is Mixed Martial Arts!" She thought as she used another front kick but Ayanokouji grabbed her leg and, "CHOP!"
A neck chop is enough to put Ibuki out of the game as, "Indeed we trust each other and that's why I must end our fight short." Ayanokouji thought as he carefully placed her by the wall.
"It seems I underestimated you, Ayanokouji." Ryuuen spoke up as they face each other. Boss battle time. "I'm impressed that you're still maintaining your composure, Ryuuen." He replied. "When violence is involved, it's not just fighting skill and style that determines the winner." He replied back as they walked towards each other and once near, Ryuuen charged and executed a powerful front kick. Ayanokouji dodged it as Ryuuen threw a few punches that were dodged as Ayanokouji threw some karate chops back but Ryuuen grabbed his arms startling him as Ryuuen got ready but without hesitation, he kneed his guts, struck his face and kicked him onto the wall as he crashed onto it and is on the ground as he spat some blood.
"Not bad Ryuuen. Have you been street fighting for a long time before joining this school?" Ayanokouji asked.
"Hell yeah! And isn't this fun? So let's have more of it Ayanokouji!" Ryuuen replied and he appeared to have a sadistic grin. "This is all a game to me, see?" He added as he slowly and carefully got back on his feet. "Including crushing the other classes and luring out the mastermind."
In a swift motion, he grabbed a metal ladder and hurled it at Ayanokouji but he caught it at the right timing as he tossed it aside but Ryuuen seized the chance to pin him onto the wall with both of his arms on his neck. "I want to get a little more fun out of you, Ayanokouji!"
"Throughout his years of street fighting, he has developed his own unique style from it." Ayanokouji thought. "If you're that good, why won't you fight where people can see you?" Ryuuen asked as he pinned him some more. "I have my own reasons..." He replied when Ryuuen switched his move and now, his hands are gripping his neck. "You do? Then I'll drag you out into the light and pulverize you!" He declared still having his sadistic grin.
"No! Kiyotaka!" Honami thought as Karuizawa gasped because it appears Ryuuen wanted to strangle him but Ayanokouji resisted, kneed his leg, double punched his body and threw him onto the wall as he slammed onto it. In response, he grabbed a pile of steel frames and hurled them at him but missed so he engaged him again with more aggression as they clashed on. "Do you think you can win?" Ayanokouji asked as he blocked more of Ryuuen's brutal attacks. "And you think you won't lose? Keep dreaming!" He shouted as they continued to clash with more punches and blocks until Ayanokouji blocked one of his attacks opening a way for him to swat his face with a left hook.
As he stumbled away while feeling the attack, "Sorry but I'm failing to imagine how I'd lose." Ayanokouji apologized as Ryuuen recovered from the attack. "You might win today, true. But what about tomorrow? The day after? The week after? The month after or even a year?" He asked as he wiped the blood off his mouth.
"You think you can win through persistence?"
"Sure do. I'll be there 24/7 waiting to strike at any minute." Ryuuen then delivered a power hook but Ayanokouji grabbed his right arm, twist himself around and elbowed his face. "You don't fear losing?" Ayanokouji asked as he blocked and counterattacked Ryuuen. However, Ryuuen tried to elbow his face but missed so he locked his arm onto his and forced him onto the wall slamming him. He then forced him down while attempting to cripple his arm. "I fear nothing. I've never even felt it or experienced it once in my life!" Ryuuen declared confidently as he recalled his childhood. As young as he is back then, violence has already been applied in his life.
Fear and pleasure are 2 sides of a coin. 2 emotions separated by a hair's breadth. This world runs on violence. One's power there is determined by one's capacity for violence. There's only one force that can upend that law of nature, and that's death
"When most people experience pain, that quickly turns into fear. And I'll give you the honour by destroying you!" Ryuuen declared to Ayanokouji as he continued his attempt to cripple his arm.
"So be it. How about I make you experience pain like no other?" Ayanokouji asked.
"If you think you can!" Ryuuen looks pissed and twisted in the mind while grinning so he used his other hand to assault him and at the same time, knee him. Ayanokouji at least managed to block his punches but being pinned onto the wall with one arm bound for breaking, the kneeing is the only thing he can't escape as Karuizawa and Honami trembled at this.
As this goes on, "You know Ryuuen, I'm trying really hard to experience this 'fear' you're talking about." Ayanokouji spoke to himself as he held his attacks. "But it's a shame that I don't feel anything."
This shocked Ryuuen and now he's enraged so he kneed him again but apparently, he was not focusing on his binding so Ayanokouji broke free and with full strength, boxed Ryuuen on the face several times. Furious, he tried to fight back but Ayanokouji ended up striking him hard and, "POW!" Right on the face as Ryuuen fell onto his knees.
Taking a few deep breaths, "You...You're something special. Especially your moves. They're monstrous like you." Ryuuen told him as he stood up. "Despite all the power you have, do you enjoy living it up with the peons Monster?"
"I never thought about it that way."
"The hell you didn't!" Ryuuen charged and grappled onto his body while ramming him onto the wall but it's ineffective now as Ayanokouji broke free easily by landing a hit on his back. Ryuuen then unleashed more punches but all missed and with that, Ayanokouji returned the favour and all struck his face. "This fight is over Ryuuen." Ayanokouji declared and he pinned him onto the ground using the full mount technique and started throwing punches on his face as he struggled to block them while also trying to grab him. Punch after punch, Ayanokouji relentlessly delivered his powerful blows and even when Ryuuen managed to grab him on the shoulder in an attempt to lock him down with him, he broke free and resumed his relentless blows. "You said you never felt fear?"
"Damn right Monster!" Ryuuen replied as he tried to fight back but, "KSH! KSH! KSH!" Ayanokouji threw even more powerful blows now using his full strength and power as Ryuuen spat some blood. "It hurts yeah but that's all!" Ignoring his words, Ayanokouji just resumed his strikes as he spoke on despite all the continuous blows on his wrecked face, "Even if you...beat the shit...out of me...here...I'll never let up! Anytime...anywhere...the minute you're exposed...and vulnerable, I'll crush you! And the one who wins in the end...WILL BE ME!"
Ayanokouji however doesn't give a damn as he kept striking. "Now savour the pleasure unique to this moment Monster! Your victory is in sight, Ayanokouji!" Ryuuen exclaimed as he continued to get his face wrecked by him. "Now show me what you're feeling! Is it joy? Anger? Annoyance? Rage? Hatred? Or any other emotion that you're feeling now?!"
No answer as Ayanokouji kept wrecking his face with several more punches and at that moment, the hidden, inner darkness in his eyes are revealed and when Ryuuen saw through it, he was so shocked that he started trembling. But at the same, "What in the world are you talking about?" Ayanokouji asked as he threw 3 more punches on his face. "A mundane task like this stirs nothing in me. So what emotion is there for me to show you?" All this punching really spilled lots of blood. Mostly on his right fist and small splatters on the ground. But at the same time during those endless punches, Honami appeared to have seen through something in Ayanokouji to the point that her eyes widened. And now, Ryuuen's face is 99 percent wrecked as he gasped and trembled some more. "Oh. There you go Ryuuen." Ayanokouji threw one last powerful blow on his face and with that, he won the boss battle.
Getting up, "I think you've realized now that you, too, have the capacity for fear." Ayanokouji told a defeated Ryuuen as he went to Karuizawa who smiled when he saw him. "Sorry for letting you suffer so long." He apologized as he placed his blazer around her and got the restraints off her wrists. "It's okay. I'm just feeling numb from the cold." She replied.
"Are you disappointed in me?" He asked.
"You bet I am...using me from the start..."
"Yes I was but...why didn't you sell me out to Ryuuen then?"
"For myself...just for myself..." Karuizawa replied as she trembled from the cold some more.
"Naruhoto...be assured Karuizawa because at this moment, the chains that are bound to you are gone. Today, you have overcome your defect completely and as always, I will still come and save you without fail."
Upon hearing his words, she embraced him weeping a bit as he comforted her. "Ne Kiyotaka...don't forget her..." Oh right, Honami is still bounded so with that, Ayanokouji went to her and freed her also.
"Kiyotaka...who are you? What are you..." Honami asked while trembling from the cold also. Ignoring those questions. "At least you are safe. And I wish I could have done more to-" He was cut by Honami embracing him fully as she cried on him. "Oh Kiyotaka...I'm so sorry!"
"Nani?"
"I don't know why...but when I saw you brutalize Ryuuen-kun...I feel like I saw it inside you...yes, it's like as if you...suffered so much or something!" Honami told him.
"This will do..." Ayanokouji thought as he embraced Honami back comforting her and allowing her to rest on him. Karuizawa smiled at these two for the conflict hat occurred today is officially over.
What an epic fight! 1 VS 6 and Ayanokouji is the winner! Yes I can assume that in his time in the White Room, he was taught and trained in all fields of various martial arts so one can say that his signature fighting style is MMA. (Mixed Martial Arts)
All fight scenes are extended and for the boss battle, the only thing extended is the part when Ayanokouji was in full mount mode and throwing lots and lots of punches in this story compared to the anime and though some people have seen his inner darkness before, only Honami can see and understand something regarding his behaviour and inner darkness during his boss fight.
