As the lights of the command center flashed a bright red, Cordovin rushed into the room.

"What in the world is happening out there?!" Cordovin yelled out amidst the blaring alarms as she faced one of the men working at the computer terminals.

"An uncategorized Grimm of enormous size just emerged out of the ocean waters a few miles from the city! It's been drawing in Nevermores from the surrounding forests, and they are collectively heading toward Argus!" The man explained.

"Where's Anderson? He should be the one handling situations exactly like this!" Cordovin questioned.

"Evan Anderson's last coordinates were at the beaches of the city. All attempts to reach him through his helmet's communication systems have failed!" The man continued explaining.

"Of all the times…Scramble all available airships! Have them blast those Nevermore out of the sky!" Cordovin ordered out.

"What about the gigantic Grimm?" The man inquired.

"Prepare Colossus for launch! I'll be damned if this city falls on my watch!" Cordovin exclaimed.

"It seems that I can't count on Anderson for anything! If you want something done right, then you have to do it yourself!" Cordovin thought to herself.

Staring down the legion of Grimm, Evan took in a few deep breaths of air as he clenched his fists. Hearing the sounds of engines coming to life, Evan looked toward the military base as he saw several airships go airborne and head toward the Leviathan. As the Leviathan roared, the massive amount of Nevermores charged at the metal ships, the two sides engaging each other high in the air.

Stopping in its tracks, the Leviathan bent its knees as it opened its teeth-filled maw. Quickly, its red gills glowed as its mouth filled with a ball of fire.

"No!" Evan exclaimed as he blasted forward into the sky, causing the sand filled shoreline to form a small crater from where he just stood at from the force of his launch.

Flying toward the creature as fast as he could, Evan began to pump as much Ki he could into both of his hands. Flinging both arms above and behind his head, Evan created a sizable Ki sphere.

As the beast unleashed a torrent of flame, Evan chucked the Ki ball as hard as he could. As the ball and the wave of fire collided, a large explosion expanded outward from the point of contact, stopping the fire in its tracks.

At the sound of tearing metal, Evan looked up to see the Nevermores swooping down and slicing their sharp claws against the airships. Staying in close formation, the airships tried to even the odds through their guns, but the swarm of Grimm seemed endless in their numbers.

Panting hard, Evan began to sweat profusely as he looked down at his palms, which began to shake and convulse.

"Dammit! I can't keep this up! I barely have enough energy to ward off this freak of nature, let alone deal with all of the Nevermores up in the sky!" Evan thought to himself as he faced the Leviathan.

"I have to keep going though! As long as I can still fight, then I won't stand by and let those monsters kill anyone on my watch." Evan concluded.

"Step aside!" Cordovin's voice suddenly rang out through a set of speakers.

Turning around, Evan saw a massive bipedal robot pushing through the waters of the ocean. Standing at a similar height to the Leviathan Grimm, the robot was composed mostly of gray-ish metal, with one metallic hand on one arm and a huge cannon attached to the other. While the automaton lacked a head, Evan was able to see a thin glass window that stretched across the wide chest of the robot. Looking through the window, Evan saw Cordovin sitting inside of the mech's cockpit.

"Cordovin?!" Evan shouted out with confusion.

"Get out of my way. I've had it up to here with your uselessness!" Cordovin yelled out as she swatted Evan out of the sky with the mech's massive metal hand, sending him careening toward one the cliff sides of the coastal forests.

As the Leviathan prepared to fire another burst of flame, the massive cannon on Cordovin's mech began to glow a bright red.

As the Grimm unleashed the fiery barrage, Cordovin controlled the robot to hold out its right hand, producing a large blue force field around it, protecting the mech from harm. Firing off a large blast of fire dust at the beast, forcing the Grimm back. As the creature let out another roar, two Sea Feilongs emerged from the water, tightening their incredibly long and slender bodies around the legs of the mech. As the sound of creaking metal filled the air, the Leviathan slowly walked closer and closer to the mech.

"What is this?!" Cordovin exclaimed as she attempted to move the massive machine, but to no avail.

Tilting its large body back, the Leviathan launched itself forward, its arms raised to slash at the robot. Instinctively, Cordovin prepared the force field on the robot's left hand and raised the cannon up toward the creature. Popping up from multiple compartments on the cannon, Cordovin launched dozens and dozens of missiles at the Grimm. Undeterred in its attack, the beast placed one hand around the cannon and the other around the force field. Crushing the cannon with ease, the monster applied more pressure on the force field as its color quickly changed from blue to yellow to red.

Using the remnants of the destroyed cannon arm, Cordovin swung the limb at the beast's jaw, forcing it back.

As the motorcycle came to a screeching halt in front of the military base, Yang and Blake stepped off of the vehicle and looked on at the ongoing fight alongside Ruby, Weiss, and Maria.

"I've never seen a Grimm like that before!" Blake muttered out as she looked on in shock.

"Don't forget about those birds up in the sky!" Maria pointed out.

"And if Evan's in the same condition as he was a few days ago, there's no way he can put up a good enough fight to take that thing down!" Yang added.

"You're right, we got to do something! If we contacted Qrow and Jaune's team, maybe…" Weiss began to ponder.

"The meetup spot's too far away for them to get here anytime soon. For now, it's up to us to take that thing down." Ruby interjected.

"So what's the plan?" Blake questioned as Ruby closed her eyes and concentrated. Opening her eyes, Ruby turned toward Weiss.

"Can you summon anything that can fly?" Ruby inquired.

As Evan witnessed the events unfold, Evan's brain went into overdrive as he charged forward and back toward the fight.

"That huge monster seemed to be the one in control of all of the Nevermores. If that thing gets past Cordovin and into the city, Argus will be helpless against it!" Evan contemplated to himself as he looked up toward the Atlesian airships, which continued to get attacked by the Nevermores.

"But I can't just leave them out there!" They need my help too! Aagghhh! Why did it have to come to this?!" Evan continued on.

"I'm…I'm sorry." Evan tearfully muttered out, as he looked away from the airships and toward Cordovin and the Leviathan.

Just as the monster prepared to charge another torrent of fire, Evan covered the distance and raised his hands out in front of him.

Creating a large shield of Ki in front of the robot and himself, Evan strained against the fiery burst as Cordovin's voice emerged from the speakers once more.

"This is all your fault! If you had just found and killed this thing earlier, then we wouldn't be in this mess! I don't know why I ever accepted you to work under me! If this is the best that you can do, then you're no hero of Atlas!" Cordovin screamed out.

"Will you shut your mouth for five fucking seconds!?" Evan yelled out as tears fell from his face, turning his head toward Cordovin for a brief moment before turning back toward the beast.

"You have this giant robot thing, and you go down in just a few minutes?! What kind of leader are you!?" Evan retorted back as he felt his arms shaking from the strenuous effort of keeping the shield up.

"How dare you?! You'll regret ever setting foot in Argus when I'm through with you!?" Cordovin yelled out, but Evan began to tune her out as he focused on keeping the barrier up.

Just as the flames finally died down, Evan let the barrier dissipate, allowing him to let his arms droop down at his sides. Even keeping himself airborne became an almost impossible feat to maintain.

"Is this how I go out? Unable to help anyone as these monsters make their way toward the city! I thought I was finally strong enough…strong enough to change things this time!" Evan thought to himself as he watched as the Leviathan raised its clawed hand up into the air.

However, before the beast could continue its attack, a blur of red rose petals dashed forward slicing the beast in the eye. Enraged and in pain, the monster attempted to strike at its new assailant instead of Evan and Cordovin.

Watching the blur of rose petals fade away into Ruby Rose, Evan watched on in with surprise on his face. As Ruby began to plummet toward the ocean, she aimed her scythe at the creature. Transforming the weapon into its sniper rifle mode and fired it at the beast's other eye as Ruby used the recoil of the gun to get launched horizontally through the air.

Zooming past Evan and Cordovin, the teen watched as Weiss, Blake, and Yang flew in on the back of a large blue and white Lancer summon.

Extending her arm out, Yang caught Ruby and lifted her back onto the large hornet-like Grimm.

"Weiss and I will keep it distracted, Blake and Yang will you focus on dealing with the Nevermores, we need you to charge up whatever you can to take that thing down for the count!" Ruby shouted out toward Evan.

Taking in all of the information, Evan nodded in agreement as the Lancer summon flew close to the Leviathan.

Creating a series of horizontal glyphs high in the air, Weiss and Ruby leaped off of the Lancer and landed on the glyphs. As the Leviathan turned toward Ruby and Weiss, Yang and Blake took the Lancer high up toward the swarm of Nevermore and the defending airships.

Using the glyphs as platforms, Ruby and Weiss leapt from one glyph to the next as the Leviathan attempted to swipe at the duo with its claws. Thanks to Ruby's speed semblance and Weiss's continuous glyph creation, the two huntresses managed to stay out of the gigantic creature's onslaught.

Soaring up toward the swarm of Nevermores, Blake looked toward Yang.

"You ready?" Blake questioned as she pulled out her weapon.

"You know it." Yang replied back with a smirk.

Extending the back half of her weapon, Blake handed the blade to Yang.

Gripping it tightly with one hand, Yang leaped off the Lancer summon as the elastic cord tied to the blade kept the blonde teenager airborne. Holding onto the other end of the weapon, Blake strained as she made sure that Yang stayed in the air.

Using the blasts from her shotgun gauntlets and her own momentum, Yang began to swing back and forth, moving higher and faster with every second.

Just as Yang reached the apex of her arc, Blake pulled with all her might, as Yang rocketed through the air. Pulling her arm back, Yang aimed right for the head of a nearby Nevermore. With one decisive blow, Yang annihilated the monster as it fell from the sky. Using the propulsion from the shotgun gauntlets, Yang headed toward the top of one of the airships, landing on one the roofs to catch her breath. Moving close to another one of the Nevermores, Blake leapt off the Lancer summon as she unloaded her gun's magazine into the bird's heads, killing it with exceptional skill.

As the creature began to disintegrate into dust, Blake leaped toward the back of another Nevermore to stay moving. Loading another magazine into her gun, Blake heard another Nevermore screech in fury as it tried to swoop down and slice at Blake with its claws. Before the beast could get the chance though, Yang leapt through the air and tore through the monster with ease.

"Thanks for the save." Blake added as she let out a quick sigh of relief.

"Anytime." Yang replied back with a smile as both women quickly aimed their guns at the Nevermore they were standing on.

Focusing his Ki as hard as he could, Evan held his hands outward toward the Leviathan. Like a lit match in a rainstorm, just as yellow Ki began to appear in front of his palms, the energy disappeared just as fast. Throwing his arms about in frustration, Evan became lost in thought.

"Damn! It's no good! I got so little energy, I can't even fire out a Crimson Cannon at this point. I probably only have enough Ki to do one more…attack." Evan thought to himself as he stared at his left palm.

"If I use the blutz wave ball, people are going to see me transform…It doesn't matter! It's the only way I can stop this monstrosity. Whatever it takes to keep them all safe, I'll do it." Evan decided as he briefly looked back at Cordovin.

Concentrating his remaining energy into his left palm, Evan created a ball of white light. Utterly depleted of his Ki, the Saiyan began to lose altitude as he began to sink toward the ocean below. Chucking the blutz wave ball as hard as he could into the air, Evan held out his left arm up into the air as he descended.

"Burst open and mix!" Evan yelled out as his closed his left hand.

As the ball expanded in size, Evan felt the potent blutz wave begin to radiate from the ball. Feeling the energy fill his body, Evan crashed into the icy cold waters below.

Feeling the sheer shock of the cold waters and his strength practically depleted, Evan began to sink down below the ocean's surface.

As saltwater began to enter his lungs, Evan gazed upward. Seeing the light of the sun and the blutz wave ball still shining through the watery depths, Evan clenched his fists.

"I won't let it end like this! I refuse!" Evan thought to himself as he forcefully closed his mouth, stopping more water from getting inside his body.

Pushing against the water with all his might, Evan swam higher and higher. Breaching the water's surface, Evan flailed about, using the last bits of his power to desperately try to stay afloat and watch the blutz wave ball.

Absorbing more and more blutz waves, the Saiyan began to grow and grow in size. Even as he began to sink below the water's surface, the changes continued to occur. Feeling his mouth extend outward and his armor begin to strain under his growing size, Evan smiled as he felt his body transform.

Bursting out from the water in his Oozaru state, Evan felt his massive feet standing on the seabed far below him. Turning around, Evan grabbed each of the Sea Feilongs, one in each of his massive palms, crushing them to dust in his mighty grip. Turning back around as he lumbered forward, Evan sent a great right rook to the Leviathan's jaw. Getting into a battle ready stance, Evan let out a mighty ROAR as he watched the massive creature turn to face him.
