(A/N) Hey, I never said what order the first three would come in, did I?

Kara Danvers was the last daughter of Krypton and was the cousin of Superman. She has the same powers and abilities of her cousin, the only difference is...well, the world doesn't need her because of her cousin. Right now, she works for Cat Grant at CatCo as the great Cat Grant's assistant.

Kara was walking into work, carrying Cat's coffee, and walked past her friend Winn Schott who seems a little energetic about something on her way to her office.

"Did you hear the news?" Winn asks.

"What news?" Kara wonders.

"Cat finally hired a new photographer." Winn explains to her.

"So? Ms. Grant has been searching for a new photographer for the past week." Kara shrugs it off as it doesn't seem like a big deal.

"No, it's the guy who she got that's the interesting thing." Winn tells her.

"Who is it?" Kara asks just as she walks to Cat's office.

"Kerah." Cat calls for Kara who quickly brought her latte.

"Morning, Ms. Grant. Here is your latte. Hot." Kara greets and drops her coffee onto her desk.

"That'll be new and different." Cat comments before taking her latte. "So, Kerah, I have found our new photographer. He used to work for the Daily Bugle, he was their lead photographer on taking pictures of Spider-Man. While he was in the middle of his battles."

"Wait, he worked for the Daily Bugle?" Kara asks, surprised Cat would hire someone from her highest competitor.

"Yes, it seems Jameson finally drove him off, which is saying a lot considering he's worked for him for ten years." Cat explains to her and begins looking like she won the lottery with her triumphant smile and snapping her fingers. "I was able to snatch him up before Jameson could realize his mistake. Now, the Bugle will no longer be able to beat me to the story when it comes to Spider-Man."

Kara was listening when her super hearing seems to have picked up on someone who was frantically apologizing to others.

"Sorry, sorry. That's my fault."

Kara had to guess this was the said new photographer as she never knew that anybody could be this left footed.

"Oh, speaking of which here he is now." Cat says as Kara turns around and sees a man who seriously looked as skinny as one could possibly get, he was possibly worse that Winn in Kara's mind, as he ran over and tripped on Kara's desk and raced into Cat's office.

"I'm...I'm so sorry I'm late, Ms. Grant. Especially on my first day." Peter Parker apologizes as he fixes his outfit and adjusters his camera around his neck. "Actually, it was kinda my bus driver's fault, he was the one who was late. I tried to call a cab to be on time, but in doing so I might've caused traffic to get even more crazy, and when my bus finally arrived, there was this old lady who only paid in change...and I have the sense you don't actually care. I'm gonna stop talking. Starting now." He finally stops rambling with a smile and turns to Kara with a hand raised. "Hi, I'm Peter Parker."

Kara smiles and shakes his hand. "Kara Danvers."

"Mr. Parker, please try to arrive early or at least on time next time." Cat asks of him as she stands up.

"I wouldn't count on it." Peter whispers and only Kara could hear it with her super hearing.

"But I need you to get to work on getting me some pictures of Spider-Man, some not already used by the Bugle."

"On it, Ms. Grant." Peter promised and looked around. "Mind if someone showed me where I'm going to be working?"

"Kerah, I need you to show him where he goes." Cat asks of her.

"Yeah, okay, right this way, Mr. Parker." Kara leads Peter out of the office.

"Great. Thanks. And if you don't mind, call me Peter." Peter asks of Kara as she leads him over to his desk. "Mr. Parker is served for my aunt's neighbor Mrs. Watson, and my aunts other friend who owns that small comic store in midtown. His name is Stan Lee but makes us all call himself Stan."

"Wait, you're friends with Stan Lee?" Winn, who was walking past at the time and happened to overhear their conversation, asks as he walked over to him. "Like, that dude runs the best comic bookstore in the city, not to mention he's just the sweetest guy."

"Uh, Peter, this is my friend Winn." Kara introduces Winn for him.

"Pleasure to meet you, Winn." Peter says while holding his hand out to shake as Kara notices a photo on Peter's desk.

"Is that what I think it is?" Kara asks as she looks at the photo of Spider-Man in a torn suit fighting who she had to assume was Lobo alongside a beaten and injured Superman.

The photo also had destruction, fire caught to show a bright red light off of Lobo with Superman flying in and Spider-Man swinging in with his right foot raised, his left boot showing to be torn and his right hand holding a web to swing in while the other was ready to shoot a web at Lobo.

"Isn't this the photo that won a Pulitzer?" Kara asks.

"Yeah, only because Jamison tried to take the credit for it, but then accidentally confessed it was me who took it." Peter informed them. "Bit of an unknown secret, that trio actually posed for that." He added, which caused Kara to look very confused. "Lobo did it for the attention, Superman thought it'd be a good way to get him off balance, and Spider-Man thought it'd just be a fun thing to do. He actually ask if he could keep a copy for himself."

Kara then became seriously curious about how much this guy knows about Spider-Man. "I know you've wrote a few articles, but they were mostly edited by Jamison...what's he like? Like really."

"Spider-Man?" Peter asks and suddenly became nervous talking about him. "He's...probably the politest guy I've met beside Superman himself. Everything you'd ask for a superhero who has kids who look up to him."

"He sounds incredible." Kara admits.

"Yeah, I could go about him all day, but something tells me I should cover that." Peter gestures to the window as he grabs his camera and starts running for the staircase.

"Oh, you can use the..." Kara was gesturing to the elevator when she looked around and saw he was already gone. "...elevator." She then looked out the window and saw smoke coming from an attack downtown.

Peter was currently racing down the staircase until the doors closed and quickly then retreated back upwards and went towards the roof where he tore off his shirt to reveal his red and blue Spider-Man outfit.

Once he made it to the roof, he quickly placed on his mask leaps off of it to then head over to the crime scene and takes a quick notice and sees its Scorpion robbing the bank.

"Ugh, Scorpion. Thought I saw the last of you the last time we fought." Peter sighs in annoyance before leaping into action.

Over time, Peter's excuses seem to become easier to make up considering Cat doesn't exactly care about why he's late or what he's doing as long as he keeps getting the pictures to her newspaper.

But it became a little more challenging to keep it from Kara. She seemed to be catching onto everything he was lying about, whether it be his Aunt is sick, traffic kept him busy, he hurt himself in his own house cooking dinner.

But there was the one day that broke the bridge of lies.

Peter raced out of the building and to the roof, followed by Kara who started to follow Peter from a distance and watched with her X-ray vision to see Peter walk to the roof and began to follow him.

Once she followed him up, she couldn't see through the lead roofing and was left with an empty ceiling.

Hearing explosions, Kara takes a quick look around before using her powers to fly off and follow the destruction.

Once Kara reached the cause of the attack, she was met with a battle between Spider-Man and Kraven the Hunter.

"Where do all of you psychos keep coming from?" Peter finally asks Kraven.

"From Mother Russia. From the way of Mother Africa!" Kraven cried as he draws two small daggers and tried to attack Spider-Man as he keeps keeping his distance from him.

"Wait, so you have two mom's and you're still so ill behaved, Kraven?" Peter asks Kraven while dodging through several traps Kraven left for him. "Wait. If you have two moms...you know what, forget it."

Kraven tries to stab Spider-Man as he hangs off the ledge, but he quickly uses his abilities to stick to the wall of the building and shoots webs at the daggers Kraven was carrying and tried to yank them from his grasp.

But that ended up failing on Peter's behalf as Kraven seems to have improved on his skills and drops down and carrying Spider-Man.

Kara watches the fight and sees Kraven actually has Spider-Man in a choke hold, and they begin to fall from a several dozen story high building as dozens watch.

"The noblest prey ends the hunt." Kraven stated with a chuckle as they fall.

Kara watches and quickly has had enough as she watches Spider-Man and Kraven fall and quickly flies up and catches Spider-Man and Kraven, knocking him unconscious, not noticing the camera still taking pictures, whilst dropping him off somewhere others will find him and accidentally losing control of her flight and crashing in the middle of nowhere. In doing so, the two of them were sent flying around the middle of nowhere and Peter ends up being knocked unconscious by a Boulder, crashing it in half in the process.

"Sorry." Kara quickly apologized as she raced over and couldn't feel a pulse through his suit. "Uh...sorry, but I need to know you're not dead." She apologizes to the unconscious man and rips off his mask and looks in half shock to see she was right, and Peter was in fact Spider-Man.

When news broke out that a mysterious stranger rescued and saved Spider-Man, the whole city became a buzz with who the mysterious stranger is.

Every news station was exploding for the past hour about who the mysterious hero is and whether or not she'll be coming back.

"During a battle in the middle of the city, our city's very own Spider-Man was saved by a sudden Guardian Angel by what many report to be a female flying form who rescued our hero from certain death."

"Our top story, the only story anyone's talking is the mystery flying woman who saved our hero?"

Everyone kept on talking about it while Peter was back in CatCo working on finding out who the mysterious woman was himself. He remembers getting a glimpse of her before passing out, but all he really remembers is a gust is wind and a bundle of hair. Meaning the news was right and she was indeed female.

That narrows it down.

"Despite extensive efforts, no one has been able to identify who, or rather, what she is."

"Claims have been coming in of theorists believing she and Spider-Man might've been created by some government tests and gave them powers."

Peter then looked to see who's saying that and wasn't surprised to see it was indeed Jamison.

"Pretty cool, huh?" Kara asked as she strolled past Peter and Winn.

"A superhero saving superhero?" Winn asked with a scoff. "How are we supposed to take her seriously if she can't even come up with a suit?"

"To be fair, she seems to just be starting off." Peter defended as he looked and saw his camera did indeed got a photo of his rescuer. The only problem was it was a blurry figure flying to save a falling Spider-Man. "I mean, did you see what Spider-Man used to wear? It was just a blue hoodie with a spider spray painted on the hip and a mask."

"Mr. Parker!" Cat called him out, which caused Peter to flinch. How this woman doesn't alert his senses is a mystery to him. "I need you to come to my office."

Peter was getting a little worried when he saw others entering his office and followed.

"I know many of you are used to being second best but it's new to me." Cat informed everyone in the room. "The most incredible event in the history of National City and yet we have no exclusive of any kind."

"We don't have much to go on." One of them say. "The image we're working off is low res..."

"Actually, she seemed to be around 5'9". It was easy to deduce due to the photo I got." Peter interrupted and showed his camera off a little. "I was able to deduce that due to how Spider-Man looked unconscious in his arms. She's about half the size of Superman. Have you ever seen what SM looks like unconscious in Superman's arms? He looks like a twig."

"Excellent deducing, Mr. Parker." CST was impressed. "Do you think there's a connection between this hero and..."

"To either the Big Guy or the spectacular Spider-Man?" Peter asks. "Well, Jimmy Olson talked on how Superman's one of a kind. At least as far as he knows. And, well, Spider-Man's nothing like him. Human born; mutant created. But she seems to be a hero. Saved Spider-Man and kept Kraven from escaping. I have a sense she's not going away soon."

"She better be." Cat said with a large grin that made her look like a Cheshire Cat. "This girl is the answer. She is exactly what I need to save the Tribune. Besides fatty foods, there is nothing people love more than a hero. And a heroes hero is something we are going to blow. We will feature her online and in the paper, but we need images, we need video, we need an interview, and exclusive content. So go. Go get me that girl."

They then made their way out and Peter was next to Kara. "You know, that was almost something exactly what Superman and Spider-Man did during their first team up."

"Really?" Kara asks.

"Yeah, Lex went to whammy Superman with Kryptonite, but Spider-Man got him out of the way and took the hit. Kryptonite doesn't hurt him like it does Super." Peter shrugged. "Wonder who this mysterious girl is. I know Spidey really wants to thank her."

"He...he does?" Kara asks in shock, knowing that he doesn't know she knows who she is.

"Yeah, he's even tried to see if I knew anything about her." Peter told her, but now Kara's questioning if he actually does know she knows or not.

"Where...where does Spider-Man usually patrol?" Kara asks, hoping it isn't easy for him to figure it out.

"Meh, he'd usually start off somewhere around LexCorp, he likes to keep his eyes on that place even with Lex behind bars." Peter told her and walked off to do his thing.

Kara looked happy at having this information and quickly ran towards Winn. "Winn, I need to talk to you on the roof."

"The...the roof?" Winn asked in confusion.

After showing off everything she can do, Winn helped her put together a professional outfit to help fight crime in. She even did a few helpful things to test out her abilities and her costume.

That night, Peter was watching over the city from the top of LexCorp, his eye-sockets closed and showing only blackness as he listened in on the city. It's honking horns, it's creaking metal, just waiting for an actual crime. Shattered glass, someone crying out for help, things like that. But his senses then went off as someone came up from behind him.

"Spider-Man." Kara greeted him while crossing her arms. "I hear you've been looking for me."

Peter opened his eyes and turned to face his mysterious savior. "So you're my mysterious savior?"

"Peter Parker said you wanted to talk. Let's talk." Kara said to him.

"Yeah. I do." Peter said as he plopped down and dangled his legs off of the sign for LexCorp. "Like who the heck are you?"

"Well, according to CatCo, I'm Supergirl." Kara shrugged as she continued to float in front of him.

"Meh, heard worse." Peter said as he shrugged his shoulders. "So I guess that you have the same powers as our Big Blue Bo scout?" He then looked away from her, staring off where Metropolis is. "Yeah, I said it!"

Kara lightly chuckled at that while rolling her eyes. "Yeah, but I'm still working on freeze breath."

"So, who is it that I'm only hearing about you now?" Peter was curious to know.

Kara flew down and landed on the sign next to him. "I don't understand."

"Well, Superman's been here for years, and it seems that you've had the..." Peter suddenly got a good look at Supergirl's face and was confused before ripping of his mask. "Kara?!"

Kara looks completely shocked that he figured it out quicker than she would have guessed. "How did you know it was me?"

"Kara, I've worked with you for six months, you think that I wouldn't recognize you because you took off your glasses?" Peter asked her.

"Well...its fooled everyone else so far." Kara shrugged.

After some time, the two of them decided to team up to fight off criminals as more villians came out of the woodworks, Livewire and Electro, Agent Liberty, Juggernaut, and a lot more like them.

And now, the two of them were sitting in a booth with Superman and Batman sitting on opposite sides of them.

"You know, I kinda feel like that if you were the main Spider-Man in the actual story, everyone would've liked you a lot more." Superman confesses.

"Yeah, I feel the same." Batman confessed.

"Come on, guys. Really?" Supergirl asks.

"To be fair, we already had two different Spider-Men who acted like that. I just think the reason I was so different is because nobody wanted three of us to basically be the same person." Peter guesses.

"Good point." Superman guesses.
