A universe where Peter Parker never left for Starling City.
Let's just say it leads to an interesting development.
Peter was just sitting outside CC Jitters and looking at his phone with a bunch of videos and photos of him and Ronnie. He lost his oldest friends in the matter of minutes, because he thought his life wasn't as important as Peter's.
"And what if you don't make it back? The city looses Spider-Man."
Peter was so lost in thought, he didn't notice the waitress approaching his table.
"You good?" A waitress asked, causing Peter to look up to see a dark haired dark woman with the same amount of sadness on her eyes.
"Sorry?" Peter asked.
"Do you need some coffee or something?" She asked him. "You waiting on someone?"
"No, nobody to wait for." Peter sighed and looked down at his deceased best friend. "One of my friends just recently died."
"Sorry to hear that. The table's yours for as long as you want it." She told him. "Nobody's waiting on it."
"Story of my life." Peter sighed. "Nobody's waiting for me anymore."
"I know how you feel." She said. "I lost my best friend in the accelerator accident. He's in a coma."
"Sorry to hear that." Peter replied to hearing that. "I'm Peter Parker."
The waitress turned to face him with a smile. "Iris West."
"West? Any relation to Detective West?" Peter asked.
"He's my dad, you know him?" Iris asked.
"Not personally, but I've met him a few times." Peter admits as he's met the West detective a few times during his battles with other villains.
Iris smiled at him and Peter smiled back as the two went into an uncomfortable silence when an old man from one of the other tables turned to face Peter.
"Ask for her number, you moron." Stan told Peter.
Peter laughed and turned blushed and looked back at Iris who was smiling as well and wrote what Peter thought was the receipt and handed it before walking off.
Peter looked at the paper and was shocked to see that it had her name and number.
Parker luck, you strike again.
Getting to know one another after a few dates, Peter could see he and Iris have a lot in common. Not much of a life outside of their best friend or family.
Meeting Aunt May was an easy task for Iris. The hard part was Peter meeting her cop of a dad. Taking away the part where he's a vigilante, the man has a look that could easily kill Kraven.
But once they got past the awkward introduction, they seem to get along with their compulsive need and want to help others.
Peter even introduced Iris to his friends at Star Labs where he learned that's where they were actually treating her friend Barry.
After almost a year, Iris' best friend Barry Allen woke up from his coma. And he was in for a big surprise.
Peter was on his lunch break from Mercury Labs that he usually spent searching for crime fighting, was now sitting outside Jitters.
"Can I help you, Doctor Parker?" Iris asked as he strolled over to him.
"It's Peter, please. Doctor Parker was my grandfather." Peter told her.
"Really?" Iris was surprised at hearing. "Do you have any non-intelligent people in your family tree?"
"Well, there was my Uncle Ben who was just a cop and fell in love with my aunt because of her intelligence." Peter admitted. "But other than that, nope the Parker tree is filled with geniuses one way or another."
"Aw.." Iris cooed as she took his face in her hands and gave him a peck on the lips, which he easily returned.
Just then, Peter's senses went off and his powers began to pick up some speed chase in progress.
"I'm sorry. I didn't notice the time. I gotta get back, Dr. McGee has a project for me to work on." Peter said as he quickly got back up.
"Oh, don't let me stop you from saving the world." Iris said as Peter quickly raced off into the alleyway and changed back into his red and blue suit. (Which was never changed due to him never leaving the city, so it's still the TASM2 suit.)
Iris watched as he raced off with a smile and then looked and noticed Barry was there and noticed everything.
Peter quickly swings through the city and raced after the car that was being chased and landed on the roof.
"Young man, I will pull this car over right now!" Peter dared and went to grab the car door, just as it suddenly froze and scorched his hand. "Ahh! That's cold."
Down the same street, Iris and Barry were walking and talking about the recent discovery.
"Who was he?" Barry asked Iris, the woman he's had a crush on since childhood, who was now apparently seeing someone.
"His names Peter Parker. He's a scientist over at Mercury Labs." Iris explains everything to him.
"How'd your two meet?" Barry was curious.
"When you were in the hospital, we just happened to run into each other. He lost his best friend in the particle accelerator and we talked then things just kinda happened." Iris explained to him.
Just before Barry could reply, they looked to see police cars and Spider-Man coming past them. The floor turned to ice and one car came sliding towards them and Barry moved them out of the way fast enough to stop it from hitting them.
Peter was finally getting sick of this and just used his strength to swing, kick through the ice, and sent the man flying out the car and sent it skidding.
Once he stopped the car and got a good look of the man and was shocked at who it was.
"Marden!" Peter cried at the man who turned to face him before raising his hands and a cloud of smoke came over the area.
"You're not the only one with powers anymore!" Mardon stated as he used his powers to try and escape, but Peter heard a car honk coming through the cloud and quickly made his way through it to stop the car before it could crash into the car and saved the man's life.
Peter was shocked to see that this means there might be others out there with powers like him now. Once I was just him and Electro with powers, Rhino had a bit of juice like Bane, but nothing like this.
This was something new.
Wanna see more of this universe? Let me know, and I might just give it a Part ll.
