London, the city of beautiful sights, and of course, the main place for terrorists and others like that; Hackers, crazy people with powers, people who want nothing more to see people of the world suffer.

But no matter whatever goes down, one organization is there to try and clean up the mess, or stop the mess before it happens: S.H.I.E.L.D.

Also known as the Supreme Headquarters, International Espionage and Law-Enforcement Division.

They had setups all over the world, but they moved a large group of their assets to London after a series of terrorist attacks have been going off, trying to show the world that they can never be safe, no matter who promises them protection.

This said group are known as the Watchdogs. They mainly target people with powers but began stepping up their game after they learned about a whole organization whose job is to protect people with abilities.

Two large vans filled of Watchdogs came up to a bank during midday where a good amount of people would be in and openly began shooting the guards as one of them carry in a suitcase containing a bomb strong enough to take at least half of the block.

They round up all the people and even unwillingly get a school of kids who were here on a trip and were all dragged along the other hostages.

"Line them up against the wall!" Tucker Shockley, their current leader tells them behind the one of the many masks they're all wearing. "This is bound to get S.H.I.E.L.D.'s attention. They'll be here soon." He walks over to the table and places the suitcase down before opening it.

But what they didn't know was there was someone else who is planning on stopping them.

Two someone's.

Nickolas Joseph Fury, AKA Nick Fury, AKA the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., was watching the city from a window when his second in hand Maria Hill came in with the news on the Watchdogs location.

"Sir, the Watchdogs have taken hostages." Hill reports.

"We have anybody on sight?" Fury asks.

"We have one Agent already on the inside, sir. It's just...he's not exactly a Field Agent." Hill tells him with a hesitant look.

"How long has he been in the field for?" Fury asks with a worried look. Which happens so very often.

"He's one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s top scientists." Hill says and shows him the report on the agent inside the bank. "He just happened to be at the bank when it happened, he reported it in. He does have the background to survive in the field, but never been on a field mission until now."

"Who is it?" Fury asks, skimming through the file.

"Richard Parker." Hill says, showing the photo of Richard who looks to be average age of most of the agents and a smile which Fury found a little unsettling for this mission.

Back in the bank, Richard Parker was luckily hiding in one of the offices when the attack occurred, and he was somehow unnoticed.

"How was it they were able to get everyone but me?" Richard asks, feeling a little insulted by that as he climbed out from behind a desk. "Yet again, it's probably impossible for them to see anything through those masks."

Just as he said that one of them walks inside with his gun raised when he spotted Richard. "Don't move!"

Richard than raised his hands in defense with a shocked look in his eyes. "I stand corrected."

"You're coming with me." The Watchdog informed Richard who quickly grabbed a nearby silver tray and smacks the Watchdog which causes him to drop his gun before trying to tackle him.

That quickly ended due to the fact that Richard isn't even close to the best fighter in S.H.I.E.L.D. as the Watchdog tackles him back and Richard continues to do his best to fight back against him. The two keep on fighting until accidentally Richard kicks the Watchdog and end up fighting through the halls.

Richard tries to reach for the gun just as the Watchdog is suddenly yanked up by a glowing lasso. Once the Watchdog was pulled up to the ceiling where he is met by the legend herself, Diana Prince: Wonder Woman.

"Who are you?" Diana asks the Watchdog, using the Lasso to make sure he isn't lying as the Watchdog tries his best not to talk, but the more he resists the more it pains him. "The Lasso of Hestia compels you to reveal the truth." She states and shakes him to try and scare him a little. "Now who are you?"

"We're a group of people who care about this world." The Watchdog tells her. "We know about the powered individuals who are out there. We want them destroyed before they destroy us."

"Boring." Diana sighed. "Why the hostages?"

"Insurance. S.H.I.E.L.D. either delivers the freaks or kills them...or they all die." The Watchdog says with a chuckle. "While the whole world watches them fail."

Diana sees she has heard enough and drops the Watchdog down, causing him to be rendered unconscious as he hits the floor and Diana drops down to Richard who picked up the gun in defense.

"Who are you?" Richard asks her.

Diana doesn't answer and walks through the halls without a care when Richard walks up and grabs her hand.

"Hey, I'm trying to talk to you." Richard told her. "Who are you?"

Diana doesn't answer and wraps some of the Lasso around his fist. "Who are you?" Diana asks back.

"What is this thing?" Richard asks, looking down at the Lasso.

"The Lasso of Hestia." Diana tells him, questioning how he didn't hear her when she explained it the first time.

"Hestia?" Richard asks. "Wait, you mean as in the goddess of the hearth?"

"It compels you to tell the truth." Diana finishes explaining, surprised how much he already knows.

"Why is it so hot?" Richard asks, looking down to his hand he feels its boiling.

"Who are you?" Diana asks again.

Richard groans as his hand becomes extremely uncomfortable and he tries his best to not say anything, but in the end he collapsed. "My name is Richard Parker. I'm the head scientist of a government organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Also known as the Supreme Headquarters, International Espionage and Law-Enforcement Division." Richard sings like a canary. "I've been asked in the help of the ongoing investigation of the group of individuals who hate powered people known as the Watchdogs. They were a small organization who just attacked people who they thought had powers, but they somehow got word on real people with powers and began to grow. They're attacking places like this, taking people hostage in order to ransom for the list of innocents who just want to live their lives."

Diana looks surprised how fast he squeals and could see that he's not exactly used to being in this type of situation.

"And great, now Fury's going to kill me." Richard says as he tries to remove the lasso from his wrist before taking a closer look at the woman in front of him. "Wait...do I know you from somewhere?"

"I wouldn't think so." Diana says as she releases him from the lasso's grasp. "Try to keep up if you can help." She offered as Richard ran up to keep up as they started to head towards where the hostages are being held just. And just as they turn the corner, they are met with seven Watchdogs patrolling the halls.

"This is a joke, right?" Richard asks as he pulls out the gun he took with him as Diana uses her lasso and wraps it around the man in the middle of the group as the others open fire.

Richard tries ducking for cover as Diana uses her bracelets to block the bullets, surprising Richard at how fast she is. As they kept shooting and Diana kept blocking, Richard uses this opportunity to shoot the Watchdogs in their armor's weak spots they found over time.

Diana yanks on the lasso and sends the Watchdogs flying just as a new guy comes down with...a rocket launcher.

"Watch out!" Richard shouts as he tackles Diana, and they fall in the closet as a rocket goes flying and explodes into the wall.

Richard quickly gets off the ground, followed by Diana who pulls off her tiara and throws it. Richard watches in shock as the tiara spins around the room before hitting the head of their last Watchdog and Diana catches it as it returns.

"That thing doesn't obey the laws of physics at all!" Richard states in shock to what he saw.

"Come on." Diana quickly gets up and is followed by Richard who scurries to try to keep up.

"Why isn't anyone responding?" Shockley asks before turning to the other Watchdogs. "Kill the hostages!"

Just as they take aim, the doors explode off its hinges and sends several of the Watchdogs flying. Diana is then scene standing in the wreckage of the doors and most of them are more confused on her outfit if anything else as she looks and sees all the hostages are all huddled together in the corner of the room, and the bomb is placed on a table inside a suitcase.

"Who's she?!" One of the Watchdogs ask taking aim at her.

"Who cares? She's an enhanced!" Another responded.

"Kill the freak!" They all shout and opens fire on Diana, sending a bullet flying right at her as she just moves out of the way, causing the bullet to become embedded into the wall. She takes a close look at the clock as the world moves around her slowly and there is only half a minute on the timer.

Using her speed, Diana sped over to the nearest Watchdog and backhanded him into the wall, sending him flying into the wall. She didn't seem to slow down though as she sped over to the next Watchdogs and punched one of them into the nearest wall and spinning to trip the other one and smack his head into the ground.

The other Watchdog near the shattered door takes aim at her back and gets ready to fire and a gunshot goes off. Diana turned around for a split second to see Richard who gave a small smile before turning serious and looking behind Diana.

"Look out!" Richard cried as Diana turns and uses her bracelets to dodge a bullet before it could even touch her. The remaining Watchdogs just focus all of their aim on her, whilst Diana mows through them and Richard shoots the ones she hasn't gotten to before they could get her.

Richard then took notice of the bomb that now has fifteen seconds left on the clock, so he races over to try and deactivate it. Diana quickly began to cover for Richard in order to keep him alive as a Watchdog smacks the back of her head with his gun, doing nothing to her as Diana turns and punches him away.

Shockley sees nothing else to do as he pulls out his gun and aims towards the hostages as they scream in terror.

Diana quickly rushed over and uses her bracelets to stop all of the bullets from hurting anyone until finally, Shockley runs out of bullets and he ends up jamming his gun.

"I don't believe it." Shockley says in...shock to her performance, speed, and agility.

"Believe it." Diana says before grabbing her lasso and smacking Shockley out with his own fist and racing over to Richard who is failing with the bomb.

"I can't stop it; I need more time!" Richard says as Diana looks up towards the ceiling.

"There is no more time." Diana says as she quickly closes the case and picks it up before leaping through the floor and throws the bomb through the ceiling as it explodes above in the air.

Richard covers his eyes to protect them from the explosion and as the explosion calms down, he looks and watches Diana coming back down and landing on both feet as if nothing happened.

"Is everyone all right?" Diana asks Richard who then looks over to the hostages and raced over to them to see if they're okay. "Are you okay?"

"It's all right." Richard promises the scared people. "Come on, it's okay." He says and begins to help a few of them up.

As all of them get up, Richard sees everything is fine and hears sirens from S.H.I.E.L.D. trucks approaching and turned to notice the woman is gone and left him wondering who she was.
