Peter Parker was swinging onto a ferry, searching for information on someone selling weapons to the people on the streets. He was currently wearing follows a blue and red color scheme. The body, head, outer arms, upper hip, and knee-high boots are red while the inner arms, upper legs, and outer torso are matt blue. The colors are in a bright tone, especially the red coloring. The eye lenses are black on the outline and white in the middle. They are also wide.
The spider insignia is small, fist-sized, and centered just above the chest. At the back, there is another spider insignia but instead of black, it's red and big. The web shooters are located in the wrists. The boots are also slightly below the knee, with black outlining covering them and the feet. The black outlining in particular resembles a spider's web, especially on the mask area and the torso. These outlines split the suit into rectangle segments, which are especially visible on the torso area, neck, and shoulders.
"All right, let's hope you were right, Yuri." Peter sighed as his eye lenses zoomed in on a group on the front of the ferry who were talking.
He was given a tip by a new police captain Yuri Watanabe about where to find a criminal codenamed the Green Goblin. He was a dangerous criminal who was also the head of the whole criminal organization in New York. He needed to stop this transfer of weapons before he gets some sort of new crime spree started. He has been fighting against the Green Goblin for over ten years since he started this crusade as Spider-Man and needed to finally put an end to this.
Now all he needed to do was stay out of sight until either the criminals unveil where the weapons are or where the Goblin was. He needed to stop both of them so he could make this city safer. It was times like this, he wished the Avengers stuck around more ever since they moved out to their gigantic mansion down the city.
Deep down in the depths of the ocean, in the hidden world of Atlantis, inside the palace throne room where Ariel, daughter of Triton, is being admonished by her father. She had missed out on the celebration of her and her sisters. Ariel is a beautiful adolescent mermaid with an hourglass figure, fair skin, red lips, flowing red hair, and large, aqua-blue eyes. She would only wear a lavender seashell bikini top.
From the waist down, she has a green horizontal fish-like tail with sea-green scales and sea-foam green fins and a matching V-shaped waistline resembling fish lips that reveals her midriff and her belly button.
King Triton is a large, elderly merman with fair skin and a massive, well-muscled physique. He has long white hair, a thick, matching beard and mustache, a widow's peak hairline, and bushy, gray eyebrows.
He wears gold gauntlets with borders on the edges and five studs around the middle on his forearms, stopping just below the elbow, a golden, five-pointed crown resembling a sea star, and, most important of all, wields the legendary trident, a golden, three-pronged weapon with vast magical powers and abilities.
"I just don't know what we're going to do with you, young lady," Triton tells his daughter.
Ariel looked down at the floor in sorrow. "Daddy, I'm sorry, I just forgot, I…"
"As a result of your careless behavior." Triton was going on when Sebastian appeared on his crown.
"Careless and reckless behavior!" Sebastian cried in anger.
Triton rolled his eyes at his trusty man. "The entire celebration was, er..."
Sebastian then came back and was inside the king's beard. "Well, it was ruined! That's all." He then swam up and came eye to eye with Ariel. "Completely destroyed! This concert was to be the pinnacle of my distinguished career. Now thanks to you I am the laughingstock of the entire kingdom!"
Flounder, Arlie's friend, swam his way up and defended what kept her. "But it wasn't her fault! Ah - well - first, ahh, this shark chased us - yeah - yeah! And we tried to - but we couldn't - and grr! And-and we…whoa! Oh, and then we were safe. But then this seagull came, and it was this is this, and that is that, and -" That's when he realized he messed up and looked to Ariel. "Oops."
Ariel gives flounder a disapproving look as if to say "shut up!"
Triton however caught on to what he was saying. "Seagull? What? Oh - you went up to the surface again, didn't you? DIDN'T YOU?"
Ariel scoffed at how much he was overreacting. "Nothing happened."
"Oh, Ariel," Triton sighed as he laid back in his chair. "How many times must we go through this? You could've been seen by one of these barbarians - by - by one of these humans!"
Ariel was getting irritated by her father's words. "Daddy, they're not barbarians!"
Triton however didn't seem to be listening to her. "They're dangerous." He then tried to show her he cared and caressed her cheek. "Do you think I want to see my youngest daughter snared by some fish eater's hook?"
Ariel however swam back away from his touch in anger. "I'm 17 years old, I'm not a child anymore!"
Triton was starting to have enough of all of this. "Don't you take that tone of voice with me, young lady. As long as you live under my ocean, you'll obey my rules!"
Ariel tried to get her father to listen. "But if you would just listen-"
Triton however wasn't listening and silenced her. "Not another word! And I am never, NEVER to hear of you going to the surface again. Is that clear?!"
Ariel stood there before she swam out of the room, crying all the way.
Sebastian marched and stood next to Triton as he sat on his throne with a sigh. "Hmm! Teenagers. They think they know everything. You give them an inch, they swim all over you."
Triton was wondering if he was a bit too hard on his youngest daughter. "Do you, er...think I - I was too hard on her?"
Sebastian scoffed and seemed to be against that thought. "Definitely not. Why, if Ariel was my daughter, I'd show her who was boss. None of this "flitting to the surface" and other such nonsense." Unknowingly, he was only helping his king with something terrible for him. "No, sir! I'd keep her under tight control."
Triton seemed to actually accept Sebastian's logic. "You're absolutely right, Sebastian."
Sebastian smiled and was happy to help. "Of course."
"Ariel needs constant supervision." Triton agrees.
Sebastian nodded and crossed his claws. "Constant."
"Someone to watch over her." Triton agrees. "To keep her out of trouble."
Sebastian nodded in agreement. "All the time."
Triton then pushed his finger against the crab. "And you are just the crab to do it."
Sebastian then suddenly realized what he has gotten himself into and became worried.
Back up with the boat, Peter was crawling around to try and get a closer look and hear what the others were saying. He recognized a few of them since he put away a few of them and even fought a few in some cases. A few of them were just without their gear, which was great for Peter to be able to catch them.
Then he watched as Herman Schultz, the Shocker, was going to hand a pair of keys to the buyers. Now, this was the best time to finally get involved and find out what they know of where Norman is.
"Hey, I've been looking for those!" Peter proclaimed as he shot a web and yanked the keys out of their hands. "Yoink!" Then he leaped down and recognized Mac Gargan, Herman Schultz, and even Morris Bench. "Hey, look at this! It's all my worst friends all in the same place!" Herman went into a panic as he raced over to attack Peter, who just raised his hand to block the attack. "Herman." He then threw him into the open area and left him. "It's great to see you again."
Mac then went to attack him with a pole from the edge of the boat, but he then regretted that when Peter leaped over his head. Landing behind the villain known as Scorpion, he shot a web on his back and threw him against the wall.
"Mac, you look thinner, have you been losing weight?" Peter was a little curious to know. "Maybe it's all of that prison food, it goes right through you. Am I right?" Seems none of them were in the mood to talk to him and he shrugged. "Come on, guys. I only get to see you every few months you break out, can't you at least talk to me?" He then shrugged when he saw there wasn't anyone willing to chat. "Okay then, how about where your boss is? Willing to tell me that?"
That was then when his senses alerted him that something was going to happen. He started to spin around and look around to try to find out what was going to happen. Then he heard clicking and noticed something banging against the boat. But Peter recognized the device as he's been a victim of them about a dozen times trying to take his life.
Pumpkin bomb.
Peter quickly became afraid and worried, quickly running to jump out of the explosion, he ended up being affected by the explosion. He was flung into the railing and crawled up to then cough from the smoke. He then noticed a figure flying on a hoverboard from where the cars are parked.
The Green Goblin has a shiny metallic green and purple shaded suit that's pressed and manufactured where it fits the mask and glider and the person wearing it. The mask is a grinning goblin mask with yellow eyes and an opening for his mouth. On his left leg is a button that slides the eyes of the mask up for Goblin to see. On his right arm is also a button for the glider to come. He has a metal green layer on his arms and chest without weighing him with heavier armor. As for his abdomen, back, and legs which instead of mostly green armor it is smoothed out so that the wearer can move easily and not be restricted.
"Goblin." Peter snarled in anger as his eye lenses squint to show his anger.
Green a goblin, Norman Osborn, then flew towards the hero and started to climb to his feet. Charging at one another, the two of them were preparing to duke it out.
Sebastian was making his way through the castle halls to try and find where Ariel and Flounder have gone. He couldn't believe what he had done to get himself into these situations.
"How do I get myself into these situations?" Sebastian asks himself as he tried to find the girl. "I should be writing symphonies - not tagging along after some headstrong teenager." And that was when he sees Ariel and Flounder sneaking off and follows them. "Hmm? What is that girl up to?"
He barely was able to keep up with her as he swam after them, knowing they were much faster swimmers than him. But he managed to keep up so that he could watch them move a stone that showed a hidden cavern. As he was making his way through to reach it, he was almost crushed when he made it into the cave and sees Ariel's collection. He was confused as he started to walk around and saw all of the stuff she has collected over the years from shipwrecks and everything from the human world.
"Huh?" Sebastian was a little surprised to see how much she's collected over the years.
"Ariel, are you okay?" Flounder asks as Ariel was laying on a rock to comfort herself.
Ariel sighed as she started to look around. "If only I could make him understand. I just don't see things the way he does. I don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad." She then started to get up and swim around to look over the trinkets she's collected. "Look at this stuff Isn't it neat? Wouldn't you thank my collection's complete?" She placed a fork on an old candle holder with a spoon and knife. "Wouldn't you thank I'm the girl, the girl who has everything. Look at this trove. Treasures untold. How many wonders can one cavern hold? Lookin' around here you'd think, sure, she's got everything I got gadgets and gizmos aplenty." She then started to swim around her cavern to look at all of her collections. "I got whozits and whatzits galore. You want thangamabobs?" She showed off a box she has full of bottle openers. "I got 20. But who cares?" She sighed as she then placed the box aside. "No big deal. I want more. I wanna be where the people are." She then messed with a small music box that has a couple dancing. "I wanna see. Wanna see 'em dancin'. Walkin' around on those. What do ya call 'em?" She tried to take a moment to recall what it was called. "Oh - feet. Flippin' your fins you don't get too far. Legs are required for jumpin', dancin'." She tried to explain and spun around the cavern to prove her point. "Strollin' along down a...What's that word again? Street!" She started to make her way further upwards towards the top of the cavern where the sun was shining. "Up where they walk. Up where they run." She then lowered herself down and laid her back against the sand. "Up where they stay all day in the sun. Wanderin' free. Wish I could be. Part of that world. What would I give If I could live Out of these waters? What would I pay To spend a day Warm on the sand?"
Flounder seemed to wanna know as well as he hurried in the sand on the floor.
"Betcha on land they understand. Bet they don't reprimand their daughters. Bright young women, sick of swimmin'. Ready to stand!" She then swam upward toward the top and did a few flips around. She then opened a few books with the pages ruined from the water damage they received. "And ready to know what the people know. Ask 'em my questions and get some answers." She then reached for a painting with a man and a small candle. "What's a fire and why does it...What's the word? Burn? When's it my turn?" She then kept going and reached her hand upward towards the light. "Wouldn't I love, love to explore that shore up above?" She then swims up to the top and reaches out of the hole in sorrow. "Out of the sea. Wish I could be Part of that world..."
She then floats back down and reached the bottom of the rock again. Sebastian has been struggling around and now comes crashing down making a lot of noise. Ariel jumped at the noise in worry and Flounder swam into an old knight's helmet.
"Sebastian!?" Ariel asks in shock to see him.
Sebastian quickly freed himself of the mess of human stuff that he was trapped in. "Ariel - what, are you mad?" He then freed himself and tried to make sense. "How could you - what is all this?"
Ariel was a little nervous as she wasn't sure what to say. "It, err, it's just my - collection..."
Sebastian sarcastically started to understand. "Oh. I see. Your collection." He then held up a fishhook that was caught on his shell. "Hmm...IF YOUR FATHER KNEW ABOUT THIS PLACE! HE'D-"
Flounder then jumped and made his way over to Sebastian. "You're not gonna tell him, are you?"
Ariel was worried about her father learning about it and made her way over to Sebastian in a pleading manner. "Oh, please, Sebastian, he would never understand."
Sebastian sighed and didn't know what he was going to do. "Ariel. You're under a lot of pressure down here. Come with me, I'll take you home and get you something warm to drink."
Then the light in the cavern was starting to cover up and Ariel became a little curious. "What do you suppose...?" She wondered what was going on and started to swim upwards.
Sebastian was a little confused about what she was doing. "Ariel? Ariel!"
On the surface, Peter was swinging around the boat trying his best to get the people away from the Goblin and the bombs he is frantically throwing around. He quickly jumped when Goblin came to try and ram him with the glider, but he was able to avoid it, but some other people weren't so lucky and were sent falling. Ariel made it to the surface just when Peter came swinging off the ship and shooting webs to save the people falling.
"It's okay! I got you!" Peter promises as he quickly pulled them back over and safely lowered them on the ship deck.
Ariel was curious about this masked individual who was rescuing people and wondered what was happening. The masked individual landed on the deck and watched as a cloud of smoke followed into the deck. She started to swim her way over to the boat so she could get a better look. Once she reached the edge of the boat, she then grabbed onto a ladder on the side so she could climb up.
Once getting high enough to peak her head up to the deck, she watched as two individuals were duking it out against one another. Spider-Man was fringing on the defensive to protect the people whilst Goblin was attacking him left from right. As she was watching, her seagull friend Scuttle the seagull flew over and noticed her.
"Hey, Ariel, enjoying the show?" Scuttle asks her, trying to talk over the explosions.
"Scuttle, be quiet!" Ariel demanded as she dragged the seagull out of sight. "They'll hear you."
"Ooh, I got ya." Scuttle put it together. "We're being intrepidaceous. We're out to discover!"
Ariel quickly closed his beak to stop him from making any more noise, then she looked to the two do them. "What are they doing? Why are they fighting?"
Scuttle looked and recognized the two of them, as he lives nearby New York. "Oh, Dennis and Gobby are at it again."
"Denise and who?" Ariel was a little confused, shielding her eyes from an explosion.
"The guy in the windows always called the man in red Dennis, and Dennis always calls the guy in green Gobby. They're like rival knights or something."
"Oh," Ariel said in surprise as she looked back and watched how the two fought.
Peter was uppercut and thrown across the boat and sent skidding, causing him to look over where he noticed a patch of red hair. He was dizzy and disoriented, so he figured it was a figment of his imagination. Goblin laughed as he threw someone his razor bats toward the downed hero.
"I hate those things!" Peter groaned as he quickly got back up and ducked and flipped around to avoid getting cut.
A few of them ended up coming towards the onlookers and Ariel ducked behind the ship so the razor bat would embed into the ship. Scuttle wasn't as lucky as he squawked and just barely managed to avoid and got a few of his feathers sliced off as the razor bat continued to go off to the ocean.
Ariel then watched as his board started to glide around and whilst Peter was facing the Goblin, feeling his senses were alerting he was planning something, he missed the board coming. When the Goblin jumped into the air, the glider zipped and smacked into Peter as the Goblin landed on the glider and flew outward.
Ariel watched them fly over her head and leaped into the ocean to chase after them. Peter only managed to hit the glider a few times before the Goblin grabbed his hand and stepped on it.
"Allow me to give you a hand back to land, Spider-Man!" Goblin joked as he laughed all the way.
"Your puns are worse than mine, Gobby!" Peter cried as he grabbed the Goblin's hand with his other hand. "I won't let you get away this time!"
"Oh, but I'm afraid you don't have a choice in this case, Spider-Man!" Goblin mocked as he then shot two rockets off his glider and Peter was unlucky to get picked up. "So long, Spider-Man!"
Peter tried to shoot a web to grab onto the glider, but Norman was able to fly away from the webbing range. He ripped off the mask so that he could breathe without the smoke getting in his face and he could think. But thanks to his clouded mind, he didn't even recognize the rockets were aimed right at an abandoned ship that was shipwrecked between a few rocks. When his senses alerted him to what was coming, all Peter could realistically do was close his eyes and wait for the impact.
The explosion from the rockets, plus the shipwreck, as well as the rock formation, there was a gigantic explosion that would have blinded everyone and anyone looking. As the explosion and fire above claimed the rocks, boat, and just about everything, the hero was able to get away from most of the explosion.
But he wasn't able to get far enough away as his suit managed to take most of the explosion.
But even when damaged, the suit maintains the blue and red color scheme. The body, head, outer arms, upper hip, and knee-high boots are red while the inner arms, upper legs, and outer torso are matt blue. The colors are in a bright tone, especially red coloring. The eye lenses are black on the outline and white in the middle. Most of the damage came from torn shreds across most of the suit that revealed most of his chest and legs.
As he was starting to sink, he fell unconscious due to the explosion and head trauma he received. Ariel then swam over to the unconscious man and was amazed by what she witnessed him do. Feeling a little sorry for him, she decided to do a favor for this hero. She grabbed him under the shoulders and swam him to the surface so that he could breathe.
Once they reached the surface however there was nothing but smoke and debris everywhere. Deciding to take him to the nearest land herself, she swam as best she could with keeping his head above water.
After a long time, Ariel managed to reach a small cavern where they could stay out of sight to make sure he was okay. Ariel is sitting next to an unconscious Peter as Scuttle was looking him over.
Ariel was growing concerned for him as she wasn't sure if he was alive. "Is he...dead?"
Scuttle opened Eric's eyelid. "It's hard to say." He then waddled over and puts his ear against his boot. "I - I can't make out a heartbeat."
Ariel then watched as Peter let in a large breath of air. "No, look! He's breathing." She then watched as Peter muttered a little and sighed. "He's so, beautiful." She then caressed his face and moved his hair so that she could see his face. "What would I give to live where you are?" What would I pay to stay here beside you? What would I do to see you smiling at me?" Sebastian and Flounder have washed up and are watching the scene. Sebastian was shocked at what he was witnessing. "Where would we walk? Where would we run?" Peter started to pry his eyes open, getting the sight of Ariel's beautiful face. "If we could stay all day in the sun?Just you and me...And I could be part of your world!"
But then she heard the sound of rockets and looked to see a flying knight (aka Iron Man) flying around and scanning for signs of life. Filled with fear she would be spotted, Ariel retreated into the ocean just as Tony Stark flew down and landed right aside from Spider-Man.
Retracting his mask, he kneeled to tap his cheek to see if he was okay. "Hey, you alright, kid?"
Peter was still a little distraught as he got up to his feet thanks to Tony. "That...that girl. There was a girl."
"Girl?" Tony asks a little confused about what he was saying. "Uh, Pete, I think that you hit your head too hard." He then pats him on the shoulder. "Come on, let's get you to the mansion for a look-over and make sure you're okay."
Sebastian was starting to panic as he and the others were hiding behind some rocks. "We just gotta forget this whole thing ever happened. The sea king will never know. You won't tell him, I won't tell him. I will stay in one piece."
Ariel however didn't seem to care or even listen to what he was saying. "I don't know when, I don't know how. But I know something's starting right now. Watch and you'll see Some day I'll be part of your world!"
Then two eels started to come out of the ocean, two eels, Flotsam and Jetsam, appear, and Ursula, the sea witch, was watching from her chamber. Ursula is a morbidly obese octopod, classified as a Cecelia (half human, half octopus). She has light lavender skin, and short white hair, and her body, from the waist down, is black with six tentacles dotted by violet suckers. The area around her eyes is a darker shade than the rest of her face. Her eyes are gray and she has a mole near the right side of her mouth. She is always seen wearing makeup; in particular, she has aqua blue eye shadow, deep red lipstick, and red nails. For jewelry, she wears purple coral shell earrings and a gold nautilus shell necklace.
"Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. I can't stand it - it's too easy. The child is in love with a human. And not just any human - a hero! Her daddy will love that. King Triton's headstrong, lovesick girl would make a charming addition to my little garden." Ursula said as she looked over to whimpering slugs in her garden.
