Chapter-8:New Era

As Natsu and Seilah emerged from the gate, a surge of power jolted through Natsu's senses, abruptly waking him from his stupor. His instincts screamed danger, prompting him to grab Seilah and hold her close as they were engulfed by a whirlwind of magical energy. Seilah's panicked screams mingled with Natsu's exhilarated yells as they were swept through the sky, tossed about like leaves in a storm.

Suddenly, the tumultuous ride came to an abrupt halt as they landed gracefully on solid ground, the magic that had carried them gently depositing them on the earth below. Natsu released his grip on Seilah, his heart pounding with adrenaline as he took in their surroundings. The air crackled with residual energy, the scent of ozone tingling in his nostrils.

Seilah's voice trembled with uncertainty. "Natsu, what do we do now? Where are we?"

Natsu's gaze flickered across the landscape, his expression thoughtful yet determined. "I don't know exactly where we are," he admitted, his voice steady despite the lingering sense of unease. "But one thing's for sure—we're not where we're supposed to be."

Seilah glanced at him, her eyes searching his face for reassurance. "But what about the others? Shouldn't we try to find them?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern.

Natsu shook his head, his resolve unwavering. "No," he replied firmly. "We need to focus on figuring out where we are and how we're going to get back. The others will have to fend for themselves."

Seilah's brows furrowed with worry, but she nodded in reluctant agreement. "I suppose you're right," she conceded, her voice tinged with resignation. "But what if they're in trouble? What if they need our help?"

Natsu's jaw tightened with determination as he met Seilah's gaze. "Then they'll have to find their own way out of it," he said, his tone leaving no room for argument. "Right now, our priority is survival. We can't afford to get sidetracked."

Seilah sighed, understanding the logic of Natsu's words even if she didn't entirely agree with them. "Alright," she said softly, her voice tinged with reluctance. "I'll trust your judgment, Natsu. But let's not forget about them entirely. We owe them that much."

Natsu nodded in agreement, a flicker of guilt crossing his features. "Of course," he said, his tone somber. "But for now, let's focus on finding some answers. We need to figure out where we are and how we're going to get back to where we belong."

With a shared nod, Natsu and Seilah set off into the unknown, their minds buzzing with questions and their hearts brimming with determination. Whatever lay ahead, they were ready to face it head-on, together.

Meanwhile, on the continent of Ishgar in the country of Fiore, on an island very hard to find, Mavis Vermilion, the First Master and founder of the Fairy Tail guild, felt a disturbance in the fabric of magic. Her senses tingled with the unmistakable sensation of power, sending a shiver down her spine.

She closed her eyes, focusing her energy as she tried to pinpoint the source of the disturbance. Images flashed through her mind, fragments of visions and glimpses of events yet to unfold. And amidst the swirling chaos, a name echoed in her thoughts—a name she had heard whispered in the ancient halls of Avalon.

"Natsu Dragneel ..." she murmured, her voice barely audible over the rustle of the trees. "Could it be? What date is it ?" she asks as she realises that its 7 july x777.

She says nothing for a moment until she starts freaking out running in circles .

,,AAAAAA I FORGOT TODAY THE ECLIPSE GATE OPENED!"she screams .

She stops running and says ,,Okay, i have to send Maki to find him and convince him to join Fairy tail , if we prove we are conceded to Avalon that should convince him right ?

With a sense of urgency gripping her heart, Mavis teleports to this ''Maki'' person, her mind racing with questions and her determination unwavering.

Mavis, with her long, wavy, pastel yellow-blonde hair cascading down to her feet, and large green eyes devoid of pupils, appeared before Makarov in a frilly, pink layered robe tied with a red ribbon. Her petite frame and child-like features belied the immense power and wisdom she possessed.

Makarov, a short elderly man with a black stamp of the Fairy Tail guild mark covering his entire chest area, was rudely awakened from his slumber. His black eyes widened in surprise as he blinked away the remnants of sleep, trying to make sense of the unexpected visitor standing before him.

"Master Mavis? What in blazes are you doing here at this ungodly hour?" Makarov exclaimed, his voice gruff with sleepiness.

Mavis, her expression fraught with urgency, wasted no time with pleasantries. "Maki, wake up! It's an emergency!" she declared, her tone leaving no room for argument.

With a groan, Makarov stumbled out of bed, his thick white mustache twitching in irritation. "An emergency, you say? At this hour?" he grumbled, rubbing his eyes to banish the last remnants of sleep.

,,YES , AVALON STUFF!" said Mavis

,,Could you not have told me of this earlier ?" said Makarov as the urgency took him over .

,,I FORGOT!" said the nearly crying fairy .

Mavis took a deep breath, her resolve strengthening once more. "Natsu Dragneel is a powerful being favored by Avalon," she explained, her voice steady despite the turmoil raging within her. "He holds a key role in the events to come, y'know ? With Acnologia and stuff? With Zeref? You don't need to know the rest ."

Makarov nodded solemnly, understanding the gravity of the situation. "Natsu Dragneel ? Didn't you say that E.n.d ? Is he not dangerous ?"

,,Most of them are myths Avalon favores them , and i know for a fact he's not like the rest of the demons .''

,,Fine , I will put my faith in Avalon and I will see for myself ."

And so, with a sense of purpose driving him forward, Makarov set off into the night, determined to find the fabled E.n.d and bring him safely into the fold of Fairy Tail.

Natsu and Seilah found themselves deep within the dense foliage of the forest, their voices hushed as they discussed their plans. The air was thick with tension, their senses alert for any signs of danger.

Suddenly, their conversation was abruptly interrupted by the unexpected arrival of Makarov. Natsu reacted instinctively, drawing his sword and holding it at the old man's throat with fierce determination. But to his surprise, Makarov didn't flinch. Instead, he met Natsu's gaze with a steady calmness, his presence exuding a sense of strength that belied his elderly appearance.

As Natsu's grip on his sword tightened, Makarov began to speak, his voice firm yet gentle.

"I mean you no harm, young ones," he said, his words carrying a weight of sincerity.

"My name is Makarov, and I come from the Fairy Tail guild."

,,That does not tell me anything, old man.'' said Natsu, not moving his sword.

,,Ah , I guess so you didn't have guilds back then, right ?'' Asked Makarov.

Natsu's silver eyes start glowing. ,,What do YOU know human ?'' hisses Natsu .

,,You were human once , is that not correct Natsu ?'' Makarov said, looking directly at Natsu' eyes.

Natsu's eyes widen , then he prepares to cut him down this human already knowing things he should not , surely hes working for that mad God or Mundus.

,,Avalon waited quite some time for you know ?'' that got Natsu to stop.

,,How do you know that ? ANSWER ME!''

,,Calm down boy , I come as a friend. Like I said, I am Makarov, I am the master of the Fairy tail guild , and why do I know about you and Avalon ? Our first Master and founder is a fairy form avalon.''

,,Prove it .'' said Natsu

Makarov raises his hand and produces a sort of energy , one that Natsu is familiar with having sensed it a few days ago, when he passed the gate.

,,I was told this should mean something to you ?''

,,Fairy energy. You speak the truth.'' Natsu said as he then sheaths his sword .

,,So what is it you want from us ?'' asked Seilah as she lowered her naginata , surprising Makarov as he didn't think she could fight , now taking notice of her magic aura which was tremendously powerful , only to pale in comparison to Natsu's.

Well, this is supposed to be E.n.d and she's supposed to be his second in command , he should not be surprised even IF they are barely in their teens.

,,I was told by the first master to get you to join the guild she was told this directly from Avalon, to be honest i did not expect you to be kids, but now knowing this i insist that you do.''

,,Demons or not , my conscience does not allow me to abandoned two kids taht need my help.''

,,I don't need help." said Natsu huffing.

,,Natsu! Be nice he's trying to help us.'' Seilah said.

,,We can manage on our own.''

,,Natsu we are 400 years into the future, and we don't know where we are and what to do.''

,,Hm''

,,Don't you ''Hm'' me ! And he also said his guild or whatever that has connection to Avalon ? Hmmm?'' said Seilah

Makarov looked amused as the girls quickly got Natsu to reconsider.

,,Fine. I will hear you out . You may speak.'' the boy's pride is not going away.

,,Well first of all , to tell you what a guild is. Nowadays magic is used almost everywhere, the populatiotion of mages has massively improve.''

,,I can sense that magic is very abundant , but what are these guilds about ? For Mages perhaps? said Natsu

,,Yes actually, with mages appearing everywhere some people did not take that well attempted to hunt them down out of fear.''

,,Figures, basic human logic , you don't understand it you try and burn it .''

,,I suppose you are right, sadly. Well some time after that foolishness stopped guild appeared , mages would gather together and the guild offers them jobs , mostly jobs that need magic , all kinds of from helping a restaurant , to slaying a pack of drakes or some monster.''

,,Interesting, go on.''

,,The guild system is currently ruled my the magic council , a bunch of idiots almost all of them i tell you , but not much we can do about that , there are of course guilds that are classified as Dark guilds , the name is self explanatory .''

,,Hmm, and why should we join your guild?'' Asked Natsu

,,Besides the fact that we have the connection you need with Avalon ? Well … we are considered the best you know ? '' smirked Makarov

,,Fairy tail is not just a guild , we are a family, we care for each other and are there for eachother , one's pain is everyone's pain.''

Natsu scoffed at this ''What else you , you send your members out into the world with some kind of no-kill rule ? That everyone deserves redemption ?

Makarov chuckled softly at Natsu's question, his eyes twinkling with a mixture of amusement and understanding. "Ah, Natsu, you remind me of my younger self," he remarked, his voice carrying a hint of nostalgia. "Fairy Tail isn't about blindly following rules. It's about finding your own path, about standing up for what you believe in, even if it means going against the grain."

,,And no , I have been in war as a child. I know there are people that can't be saved, but is it really that bad to not want my children to have to do that ? " Asked Makarov

,,I suppose not it is still foolish to do that if you intend to allow them into this world , after all there is only one true law . Survival of the fittest. ''said Natsu

,,You're not wrong sadly .''

,,Me and Seilah are still demons, and i personally have no intention of hiding.'' said Natsu

,,Well I could hide my horns, and we could just not mention we are demons." Said Seilah

Natsu huffed at that and muttered a fine.

,,Were not getting more than that .'' said Seilah

Makarov slightly smiled. ,, So it a deal then ?''

,,I want to talk with that fairy that told you of us .'' Said Natsu

,,Master Mavis ? Well we can arrange that. We should go now , we'll arrive by morning. In the meantime could you tell me of your abilities ?I mean you no harm just curious and to make a plan about signing up your guild members- you don't have any type of identification papers like birth certificate or something do you ?''

,,I was created '' said Seilah as she held out her hand

,,I was in an orphanage 500 years ago before i died , pretty sure those did not exist back then.'' Natsu said doing the same thing as Seilah .

,,Hm.. well we'll work something out . Let go kids.''

,,So why is it called a fairy tail ? Do fairy even have tails ?'' asked Seilah

,,You just answered your question dear, that was what the name was based on . Do fairies have tails, do they even exist ?It's a never ending adventure."

,,Isn't your first master a fairy ?'' asked Natsu

,, She refuses to answer , telling us that we have to find that ourselves , and not all guild members are aware she's a faerie .''

,,Hehe.''
