A few days passed since then. Danny, Charlie, and Emily all meet up at Danny's place, each of them taking care of their homework. After helping Danny with his math homework, the three started to talk about some of the fights they had been in.

"Okay, we have a run-in with some very odd ghosts," Danny said, thinking over the ghosts they met.

"There was the Box Ghost," Charlie said.

"Easily caught without any boxes around him," Emily added.

"That weird Skulker guy that wanted to hunt Danny for his skin," Charlie said, shivering.

"Had a laugh or two when we learned of his true form." Danny chuckles.

"And there was Klemper," Emily said.

"Really needs a lesson on how to make friends," Charlie said, sighing.

"Anyone else?" Danny asked, making the girls think.

"Not off the top of our heads," Charlie said.

"Still, I can't shake the feeling that a few ghosts seem surprised to learn that Charlie and I were a demon and an angel," Emily said, finding it strange how most ghosts reacted differently to her and Charlie.

"Yeah, I know what you mean," Charlie said, thinking.

"Well, we still have to deal with Sam." Danny sighs, recalling the number of times Sam tried to break the three up.

"Really, she needs to get over herself," Charlie said, coming close to putting a restraining order on her after their last run-in.

"I really want to punch her," Emily growls.

Danny sighs, remembering that run-in himself.

Yesterday,

Danny, Charlie, and Emily caught the last ghost that tried to attack and they were trying to get back to class before they were late. Luckily, they made it before the bell rings. They meet up again at lunch, all three of them feeling a bit more hungry than normal.

"Thanks again for paying for my second lunch, you two," Danny said, grabbing his second tray.

"Any time, Danny. Who knew that being heroes would be hungry work." Charlie said, eating her second sandwich.

"I just wish we had someone to train us," Emily said.

Danny and Charlie nods. The past week was a lot tougher. And it really put Danny's grades down. Charlie and Emily did help him get his homework done, and they nearly got in trouble with a ghost who wanted to skin Danny. Luckily, they were able to defend him, thanks to the purple-back gorilla that Danny decided to study for his extra credit. Thanks to Charlie and Emily, he was able to get a close-up look at the gorilla.

"Well, at least we won't have to worry about Skulker for a while," Danny said, glad that the girls saved his butt.

"So, what do you want to do after school?" Emily asked, hoping they could hang out without any ghosts bugging them.

"Well, I was thinking about..." Danny started before Sam walked over.

"How about you come and spend time with me and Tucker?" She said.

"Sam..." Danny sighs.

"Come on, Danny. We're way more fun than two "pay-up front rich brats" that even bribe you with a second lunch." Sam said, making Charlie and Emily glared at her.

"First off, they paid off my second lunch as a favor. And second, Charlie and Emily are my friends. Stop trying to drag me away from them." Danny told her.

"Come on, Danny. They're using you! They allow you to break into the zoo!" Sam said.

"Whoa, whoa, back up! We didn't let him break in! My dad would be furious if I did that!" Charlie said.

"Same with Sera! We asked the zoo keeper if we could study the gorilla." Emily added.

"Oh, really?" Sam asked, glaring at them.

"Sam, stop it. If you're going treat Charlie and Emily like this, then stay away from us." Danny told her.

"Come on, Danny! They're no-good, spoiled brats, waste of space, no-bodies that don't even care about you." Sam said.

"EXCUSE US?!" Charlie and Emily shouted, standing up.

"In case you have forgotten Sam, Charlie and I come from a very different life than most rich girls! We care about people. We care about how someone's feelings." Emily said.

"And we saved Danny two years ago! We couldn't stand how Dash was treating him. Does that sound like "no-good, spoiled brats, waste of space, no-bodies" to you?!" Charlie added.

"And what do you know about Danny? You don't even let him do his own things." Sam said, crossing her arms.

"Oh? We don't?" Emily asked.

"You're not with us when the three of us hang out. We don't force Danny to take part in anything he doesn't want to." Charlie said.

"We also don't force him to carry all of our bags when we go shopping," Emily added.

"And we don't go around and start judging others because of our money!" They yelled together.

"Sam, no matter how much you try, Charlie and Emily will always be my friends. So, do everyone a huge favor and LEAVE US ALONE!" Danny told her.

With that, the three grabbed their second lunches and went to eat somewhere else. Ignoring Sam for the rest of the day.

Today,

"Seriously, we does she get off on calling us those?" Charlie said, growling.

"At least Tucker doesn't mind," Emily added.

"Even if he likes to flirt with you two?" Danny asked.

"Well, he knows his boundaries," Charlie said.

"Speaking of which, how's everything between you and Vaggie?" Danny asked, knowing their hero business might have gotten in the way.

"Surprisingly well, actually," Charlie said, sighing.

"Does she know?" Emily asked.

"No. But she understands that I do get busy. With hanging out with you two, and spending time with my dad. I'm still trying to get Vaggie to warm up to you both," She said.

"Why?" Danny asked.

"I have no idea. I tried asking her about it, I tried to get her to see that you're both good friends, but it's like she thinks you two are going to steal me from her." Charlie said, sighing.

"Maybe we should invite her during our hangouts. Let her see how she could trust us." Emily said.

"Sounds like a plan. Again, if the ghosts don't get in our way." Danny said.

His ghost sense appeared.

"And I had to jinx us." He groans.

The girls nodded and the three became their hero selves. They went to find the ghost. Hoping to either talk it down or to fight it if it won't listen.

Meanwhile,

Vaggie was streaming. She heard what Sam called Charlie yesterday, and she was ready to give her a piece of her mind. Her boss told her to keep on the three whenever they appeared, and Vaggie has reported that they spend some of the time trying to talk the ghosts down. However, a few of them didn't listen or were far too dangerous.

She also mentions that she can't be everywhere when they do show up, or split apart. Her boss was already covering that. But Vaggie needs to find Sam now. It didn't take her long to find Sam at the Nasty Burger, talking to Tucker.

"Really, Sam! How could you say that to them?" Tucker asked, making Sam roll her eyes.

"Because they are, Tucker! Danny is caught in their web of lies and I'm trying to free him from it." Sam said.

"Does this have to do with your crush on him?" Tucker asked, knowing her well.

"I don't have a crush on Danny! I just trying to make him see that those two brats are not good friends." Sam said.

"Sam, you are a rich spoiled brat." Tucker pointed out.

"Don't you compare them to me!" Sam said, angrily.

Vaggie had enough. Yes, she doesn't like Emily, but Charlie pointed out some things about her that not even Vaggie could find herself disliking. While she doesn't trust Danny, she never did anything to break them up. Charlie and Emily saved his life. So, she was trying to at least put up with him for Charlie's sake.

"And you have a lot of nerve!" She said, marching up.

"Vaggie?" Tucker asked, surprised.

"What do you want?" Sam asked, crossing her arms.

"First off, I heard what you called Charlie yesterday. I do not APPROVE OF IT!" Vaggie shouted.

Sam scoffs and rolls her eyes.

"You're dating her. You have seen how she acts." Sam said.

"Charlie doesn't care about her money! She doesn't care that she's rich! She came from a line of families that worked in a circus! Just because her dad's was very popular at the time doesn't mean she lets it get to her head! And do you want Mr. Morningstar and Ms. Seraphim coming after you again?!" Vaggie told her.

Everyone remembered that. Sam's words reached both Charlie's father and Emily's surrogate mother. Both of them had words for Sam and her parents were very upset with their daughter. Through, everyone knew that the Mansons never really liked the Fentons. So they weren't sorry for Danny at all.

"And why do you care? I thought you didn't trust Danny?" Sam asked.

"I don't, but at least I'm not petty enough to try and force someone apart! Just because I don't trust him, doesn't mean I have to right try and force Danny away from his friends! Charlie can be too nice at times, but at least she has a heart! Unlike you!" Vaggie said, glaring at Sam.

"Excuse me!? I'm trying to save Danny from making the biggest mistake in his life!" Sam said.

"He's not even your friend, Sam! There is no reason to save him! You just see Charlie and Emily as you do, not caring about what everyone else thinks! Charlie told me that she was thinking of getting a restraining order on you because you won't leave them alone! And while I don't like Emily that much, I can tell she's a nice girl! She, at least, keeps Charlie from going too far in her ideas!" Vaggie said.

"What about the time they broke into the zoo?" Sam asked.

"They didn't break into the zoo! Charlie told me about Danny's past. I saw with my own eyes that Danny wasn't that person anymore. You need to get over yourself, Sam! The world is not in the way you think it is, and you need to stop forcing others to see it that way!" Vaggie shouted.

Sam glares at her as Tucker sighs.

"I'm going to pay for my lunch before anything else happens." He said, knowing he would be of no use right now.

"Get back here, Tucker! You need to back me up!" Sam said.

"No, I don't, Sam. Just because we're friends, doesn't mean I have to agree with everything you say." Tucker said, walking away.

Vaggie nods, glad to see that Tucker understands where he stands. She had thought about talking to him a few times. After he tone down the flirting. But right now, she needs to talk with Sam.

"Sam, you need to stop thinking you're in the right. Do you want to know why no one agrees with you? It's because you see the world as you want to. You want to see everything the way you see it. Sounds a lot like your parents." Vaggie said.

"I'm not like my parents! They're the ones forcing things on me!" Sam said.

"And you're trying to force everything on us!" Vaggie pointed out.

Sam growls, refusing to believe she's just like her parents.

"Sam, I'm going to say this once. If you EVER call Charlie those things again, and you WILL find out why I'm dating her. And it won't be the sobbing love story that you hear most of the time!" Vaggie warned her.

With that, she turned and left. Vaggie loved Charlie. She knew Charlie would never be that kind of person. True, she had Danny and Emily for years before her, but Vaggie did know her. She just hoped Sam didn't do this again. Because next time, she won't hold back.

And that ends this chapter. A bit of a time skip, covering a few ghosts that the three met and fought. Didn't feel like covering the episode with Skulker, but for those that are wondering, Skulker spends most of his time hunting Danny, not seeing Charlie or Emily as huge prizes like he sees Danny. Which the girls use against him. And yeah, he still got a hold of Tucker's PDA. So, he was sent to the library to find a book about the purpleback gorilla. (AGAIN!)

And as you can see, Sam is really pushing it. No one liked what she called Charlie and Emily, and even Danny stood up to her. Hell, even Vaggie didn't stand for it. She has her reasons for not trusting Danny, but she trusts Charlie, which is why she's not doing anything to break up their friendship. But you all know Sam, she won't stop.

And in case everyone forgot, while it may seem that I'm putting the hate on Sam, I don't hate Sam myself. Yeah, she can be a little too into her ideas and try to force them on everyone, but she's not really a bad person. She just has some bad parents that rub off on her more than she admits.
